How does silent treatment sound good on paper Knighthonor? Silent treatment never helps anyone, not Arena Net or its customers. No treaty was ever made with one side giving the other `the silent treatment´.
I do not understand Arena Net especially in regards to their utter lack of communication. So many issues would be avoided if they discussed plans with the community and listened to feedback rather than acting first and experiencing the fallout.
I lost count of the merged topics that get ignored and never addressed.
What I meant by sound good on paper, is that the developers said that they do not talk about things until is finish, that’s cool on paper but in reality they don’t work because we want to know what they are doing and if anything that we bring to the attention is being worked on anytime soon if at all.

Hey this developer silent treatment has to go. It is doing more harm than good. We need better communication on the class boards as well as the WvW and SPvP boards.
This silent treatment sound good on paper but that’s as far as it goes. The HoT expansion feels neglected, mainly do to both the production as well as the lack of communication on the direction. We as consumers don’t even know if you are even working on fixing some of the problems in the game that we have pointed out, because you are silent about everything – including things that you are working on.

This is an idea I created for a Ranged One-hander Main-Hand and Off-Hand, that is unique from other weapons yet can still play a useful role for multiple legends.

I wont cover every problem, but just some things I noticed.
Some things that need change:

*Legendary Centaur Stance:
A) Project Tranquility should be automatic, and respawn once destroyed, or if out of range.
B) Ventari Will should have its cooldown removed or reduced or heals increased.
C) all Legendary Centaur Stance skills should have an offensive aspect to them, if the energy cost remain this high.
D) Energy cost need to be reduced on all skills, to have any synergy with weapons.
E) Natural Harmony need to have its heal greatly improved if the delay design is going to stay.
F) Protective Solace should be made into Water Field.
G) Energy Expulsion should have a large heal on it along side current effects.

A) Nourishing Root should be baseline.
B) Tranquil Balance should offer some kind of passive heal regen along side current effects.
C) Serene Rejuvenation, along side current effect, should heal nearby allies a percentage of the damage you deal.

E) Hardened Foundation and Eluding Nullification should be merged into a minor.
F) Invoking Harmony should be changed from having an invoking requirement.
G) Momentary Pacification should be changed into a different effect on the elite, or to have an additional effect on elites.

A) Staff AA Damage need to be increased, and provide better damage reduction effects such as protection.
B) Punishing Sweep need to be reworked to not be built around enemy using skills. Perhaps swap the chain, and daze on first chain, and if interrupt a target hit them again for another daze heavy hit.
C)Renewing Wave should be changed into a ground target leap similar to Dragon Hunter’s F2, that deals damage where it lands and knocks down enemies, while healing nearby allies at the start and landing area, especially with this high energy cost.
D) Surge of the mist, should have a directional ground target function similar to Druid Staff 4 Vine Surge
Shatter is getting a major awakening pretty soon.
Made me think about other Metabosses that I would like to see get this sort of treatment. Picking 1, which Metaboss would you like to see get this same kind of treatment?
For me, I would like to see the Svanir Shaman metaboss get this treatment. I like when he was tougher to fight but I mainly want more phases in the fight if anything. Currently he has only 2 phases (Portal and Shaman), these could cycle a bit more and have more powerful elements to them some how. Maybe Portals spawn Powerful Champion Dragon Minions or something that the players have to deal with in a certain time limit. And the Shaman could summon minions or AoE effects the make players position themselves for safety. stuff like that. In Boss transformation form he gets some different skills.

Considering that gold sellers are a problem with every mmo there has ever been and no one has been able to think of a way to stop them, as they can turn around and make a new account seconds after a ban, maybe it’s not so easy as you think. I expect thousands of Devs have thought about the best way to stop gold sellers and failed, and the current way is the best they’ve come up with.
However it seems you have figured it out. Why don’t you lay out your plan. The mmo world is waiting to hear from you.

Hey this could be pretty cool itemshop purchase.
Something that grants 3 builds(as in traits and skills only) to save per character that can be switched out of combat at the touch of a button with small cast time.
Rite need to be a large AoE heal to make up for the low healing from the Dwarf heal. That can justify the cast time. The damage reduction can stay, just make the effect make us immune to control effects or something and a nice AoE heal and AoE damage/cripple to enemies nearby.

I leveled all the way to 80 with staff and Ventari. I thought it worked well, though the damage was a little low. You just have to manage your energy carefully.
you try it in PvP?
Staff doesnt go well with the Venatari legend it was built for.
The energy cost is too high. I mentioned this in beta.
The effects are too weak to offset the price.
My thoughts:
It’s probably overly ambitious, but I’d really like to see the revenant getting a condition-based midrange mainhand weapon that’s not tied to an elite specialisation. Professions should have more than one ranged option as core, in my opinion, and now that the revenant has a weaponswap, it’s a problem that they only have one weapon that’s really condition-based.
More generally:
I think part of the reason we have a Mallyx legend is that ArenaNet wanted something closely associated with Abaddon, without actually having a god as a legend. Gods, elder dragons, and beings of that category feel like they may be too powerful to have as legends, so Mallyx allows that Abaddonesque feel without breaking that rule.
Khilbron I’m not sure about – he’s sufficiently distinct from Mallyx, but it feels like a Khilbron legend would be a little too close to pretending to be a necromancer. For similar reasons, I’d be leery about introducing any legend whose expected playstyle would be a copy of an existing profession.
The way these legends are situated, I’d honestly expect the next legend to be Massive HoT Spoilers here, be warnedTrehearne. After all, he helped revitalize a fallen, currupted continent, then also coordinated and led an army that killed an Elder Dragon, which is something both Glint and Jalis became legends for TRYING EPICALLY to do, but ultimately failing. At the end, he then gave his life to ensure the brain death of a SECOND Elder Dragon. From a lore standpoint, he died as one of the single most influential heroes in Tyria's entire history, if not THE most influential. He was literally instrumental in finally breaking a cycle of destruction and recreation lasting longer than anyone knows. That...Is pretty legendary, and with his time using Caladbolg, Imwould assume you would get a greatsword. Also, I'm reasonably sure Braham burned Ehr's body. She's gone forever. This is the biggest spoiler my lord.
I like this idea, albeit partly for the epic wailing it would result in.
I doubt they will make legends out of people still in the game. that would throw off role players that play Revenant.
We all want greatsword but the fact is next elite spec will be condi oriented with ranged condi wep.
Mesmer has a ranged greatsword, and they made Revenant have hammer as a ranged weapon. Why couldn’t they make a ranged condi greatsword?

The class went through some major changes in beta. Time to abandon some more of the outdated concepts.
examples:
1) the Lack of Weapon Choices- worked for when we had no weapon swap. But we do now. Why we still have so few options?
2) the lack of Legends baseline- not all play styles work in every mode. so why lock legends into certain roles/playstyles? that reduce the number of choices to pick from. Who picks Ventari for SPvP, for example?
3) Energy system and Cool Downs- with weapon swap, and the way legends work, why we have both high energy cost on non-dps legends and cooldowns? Also the Weapons that associate with the legend’s traitline also have high energy cost. WHY?

Lets also note that outside of mesmer everyone else got buffed. Rev nerfs+everyone else buffed around?
Like superior boon corruption for necro? Diamond skin wiping 1 condi/sec (rev has no coverage with trash condi). As condi rev you cant really fight these classes anymore, you be destroyed and teabagged. Our only option vs condi that is resistance is gone basically.
Power damage? Thief will superior and the one that can actually focus and single out targets in teamfights, unlike rev that gets weaker the moment someone show up so i dont see a reason to take rev over thief now. Also worth of a note that thief already counter rev.

unlike other classes, this class is very limited on choices. Lets buff other choices before we start to nerf everything to the ground. just saying.

people just go sword AA cause it’s the only viable way to dps consistently, energy pool and costs is terrible to even try using skills for dps.

I recently made a Sylvari Revenant to be a healer/support character mainly using a Tablet for concept reasons. After playing her i realized how bad of an idea that was sadly.
Tablet NEEDS to be fixed. Its barely playable.
Not a bad concept. Just badly undertuned early on to push the concept of healers without too much negative attention towards their change in no healer stance from pre-release in which they bashed healers.
the problem was they never buffed it up once Druid was released. It was left as is, ND focused on the undertuned dps of the Revenant and they never looked back at any other non-dps roles in the class
Staff 4 need to heal more and do damage and create a water field. Staff 2 should be switched around the chain order.
staff 5 need a different ground target system.
staff auto need baseline regen and swiftness.
Energy cost of staff skills need reduce in their current form.
Hi, I bought Storage Expansion and got nothing in return. I had only 1 Storage Expansion purchase up till now. So I should be allowed to still buy 4 more as the Gem Store stated. But got nothing.

As a DH usually don’t stand a chance to “win” against decent Druids, but due the longbow knock back each 10 seconds, the F1 and the greatsword #5, plus the dazes, I have good chances to break the point, which is what matters. You don’t need to kill the tank to win in this meta, just to keep them out from the ring in time to time. Of course, this is invalid in Foefire’s ^^
I been 1 shotted in SPvP by DH traps that were just laying around while in full cleric gear with added toughtness from it.
So I dont see why not.
This cant be fixed due to the way the game was designed around projectiles and action combat. its hard coded in.
What if Next patch doesn’t buff Dwarf and Ventari? Thats what I kind of fear. I fear we will have to wait another SPVP season for a chance to get Dwarf and Ventari improved to be useful in SPvP.
same for Staff weapon. I REALLY want to see that buffed to be good in SPvP.
But waiting between seasons can be really discouraging if nothing gets changed about the weak useless trait/legends/weapons, and all we get is nerf to the already good legends/traits/weapons..
