Yes, I do like that there is less butter and chocolate dropping. I swear I gained 4 pounds till the fix kicked in. I THINK I am starting to loss it now.
btw OP I really like the pic. that was great.
1. Could we have an option to sort alphabetically? I remember a lot of the dyes by name, and it makes it harder to find them this way.
2. If one is not possible, could we have a simple search box instead?
3. Can you increase the size of favorites? Currently it’s capped at 8, which makes no sense seeing there is 100+ dyes.
per my understanding it is more like 400+
also agree. I thought it was suppose to be this way originally.
I agree with this as well.
Hate having to report then click on the name again then block.
P.S. btw thanks for adding “selling gold” as a reportable option.
I would like to make a poll as well. As it is I plan on doing one on another site and linking to it through a post here later today. Wish I didn’t have to but oh well.
I really haven’t noticed any issues when I transform into bear form. Seem just fine. In fact one time I was nearly dead then went bear and beat the swarm of mobs that were on me and didn’t loss any additional health
why some people try so hard to defend this decision to not have mounts in the game yet O_O
Don’t misunderstand me: I am the one preaching most of the time how people need to slow down and really appreciate everything the game has to offer and NOT race to max lvl and then try and grind the bestkittenloot because please believe me this is not FUN, even if you have convinced yourself that it is, lol.
This game is a prime example where it has ACTUALLY been tailored to fun, to exploring and taking the time to try everything it has to offer, and to testing your skills against different fun challenges.
HOWEVER: When part of the primary focus is on finding everything the map has to offer (and I much enjoy 100%ing maps) who here can sweep the whole thing mechanically top to bottom and never have to backtrack once? I don’t want to be forced to have to either do my exploring in a mechanical fashion or constantly fork out money to teleport back and forth which I have been doing so far but this decision to not have mounts and force u to do that is nothing more than a way to keep the economy stable by making people poor! and it REALLY frustrates me when I am lvling many characters at once.
If you still can think of an argument, disagree with this scenario: You are in WvWvW and your guild mates have called you in, so u zone in and have to run 3/4 across the map to get to the battle they are in, so u spend a few minutes running across thekittenthing only to be ganked by some random team of badguys just as u were so close, only to find your nearest way point is the one you just ran from -_- This is a nightmare, and the grief factor would be reduced by 500% if I had some kind of basic mount I could jump up on to increase the movement speed by some 75% or whatever they wanna make it. Get real guys. Game where the object is to explore THE WORLD and you force me to do it on foot. Disappointment.
I will start with your example and go from there.
the objective in WvW per my understanding, is they want you to have to cover the long distances on foot as a way of making folks plan ahead as well as use strategy.
I find nothing wrong with paying waypoint fee. Again per my understanding it is meant to make do some foot travel. I myself have started checking the fees and so not always going straight to the WP i wish to go to but teleport short and then run some. More then once this has enabled me to make more coin due to DEs I have run into doing it this has way.
edit: sorry the last sentence originally didn’t make any sense. dang cell phone

Makes you a noob
Nuff said
just go back to WoW
you won’t be missed
Some I can solo.
Some I can’t.
It just depends.
One time I was really surprised my Mesmer was able to solo one. It was a rough fight and really fun because of it.
That is the point. Live with it
When you see a group of characters standing on top of each other. Their skills always doing something.
That is a bot.
When you see someone running around with several people following (especially of the same profession).
That is a bot.
Please report them
Also if you have any other examples please list them.
Leave it alone. The tax is fine.
Now we just need people to start selling stuff at a more realistic price.
Not 1 silver of a level 0-1 item
and not 23 copper for a level 26 item
I must add that in recent days I have seen a more realistic pricing for many of the level 0-1 items.
Even though there are still some that are WAY over priced.
Why even bother to list a level 0-1 weapon for more then 25 copper. There are really noobs out there that like to use the TP. You scare them off when you price a starter weapon for a silver
highest is 30
been playing since head start
all classes plus some
10/10
As expected the whinning begins.
Let me just say.
You don’t have to pay a monthly sub.
from your quest hub statement you haven’t gone in high end areas. Since the renown hearts were only placed there to ween you off of the QH system.final statement. Bye you won’t be missed

per the lore and the strategy guide they lean toward Celtic naming patterns
Last names are not a big thing, but I couldn’t resist giving my 2 Sylvari a last name
just use your bank.
it is account wide
per Ree Soesbee in the PCGamer interview:
You guys take a pretty definite line – they’re a hero, they’re going to have this particular moral alignment. It’s “how are you going to achieve this heroic thing” rather than “are you an kitten”. Is that degree of extra freedom superfluous in other games?
No – it depends on the kind of game you’re playing. We’ve said from the beginning that Guild Wars 2 is a game about heroes. If you’re playing a game about villains there should totally be choices to be a villain. What we wanted to do was tell a story that ends hopefully in the defeat of the dragons, and the choices of bad guy who would do that fall into anti-hero. So that was as far as we were willing to go.

At no time did i state to remove this behavior
These “plant” people where created by real people.
These real people have imposed a very “political correct” spin on this race.
I simple said to tone it down.
as for calling me a bigot
a bigot is a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race.
I have shown tolerance. So by calling me that you have actually called yourself that by being “intolerant of my views”
I made my choice I chose I different person story.
I have the right to state I was made uncomfortable.
I never said at all to remove it kick it or rewrite the game.
All you have done is prove me correct by slamming and in so agreeing that if I were to stand in the gates in Lion’s Arch preaching from the Bible I would be banned from the game.
So who here is really acting like a bigot??
Its not me.
I have stated to Anet myself that they made me uncomfortable with how they have made the Sylvari way to PC. I like the OP will not impose my life choices on others. I feel though that they have really over done the PC-ism on this race.
I actually changed my personal story due to how uncomfortable it made me feel.
Everyone has a right to do whatever they wish too in their bedrooms, but they need to tone it down in the game.
If I were to start preaching in the game I would get banned. So they either need to let me teach the Gospel if I so desire or tone it down.
This was explained more then a year ago. They will NEVER have this happen in GW2
We are all races at peace with each other (even if it is for convenience)
Our main target is the dragons; not each other. PvP is already available to everyone in sPvP and WvW. Be happy with that.
This was one of the main selling points for myself when I decided to get this game. No spoilers running around ruining my experience in the game.
I am most likely never to even play PvP.
I have no desire to be bothered with having to look out for my back.
This game is my way of relaxing and escaping RL.
A majority of those playing are doing so due to this very fact.
Anet will not loss most of it players just to satisfy this request, which as I stated at the beginning of this reply was already addressed by Anet a long time ago.SIMPLY: NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!
Sorry if this is a disappointment to you, but you are in the minority on this, by a long shot. You can always go find a game that is more to your liking.
This is the first game in over a decade that is actually geared for players like myself. Due to this I will continue to support it.This is a funny post. It’s just an idea, whether you think it’s a good one or not is your opinion, but saying stuff like I should leave the game, and that you somehow know that only a strict minority of players would like this idea is funny. I’m happy that you finally found a game that you enjoy, but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna remain static forever – updates will come, changes to the gameworld will happen. I certainly wouldn’t want to be Anet when they make a change you disagree with.
sorry you think it is funny for me to state actual facts.
I simply stated what Anet has already said.
They will NEVER do this.
Yes there will be changes made, but this one will never happen.
Also yes I know through long research, including most info released from Anet as well as interviews of Anet employees, that you are in a minority.
You should do the same next time you have an idea for any game.
Research… think on it… research some more …. then post your suggestion.
Absolutely NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just sold about 40 different items in the last hour and made around 6 gold… in the last hour.
The TP works, but like most MMOs the majority of loot is trash. The issue is not with the TP or how it functions, it is an issue that most crafted and generated items are useless.
BINGO. I personally never find the need to buy items from anyone…leveling happens to fast…it’s just not efficient to keep replacing your gear…only crafted staffs since I’m an artificer.
not everyone levels quickly. My highest toon is 26 and I have been playing since launch. I wish people would not assume everyone levels “quickly”
all you do is make a kitten outta U and me kitten u me)
I actually need the TP to start to work correctly. I am 75 to 85% behind on the amount of cash I planned I should have made by now. And yes I actually mapped out on excel how much money I should be bringing in a day via game play, selling to vendors and the TP. All based on my BWE experience with the entire game system, including a TP working like it did during the BWEs.
First due to the TP being down for the first week and a half to now items being massively under prices.
I am just now getting to drops that are level 20s due to just now getting my toons to the 20s. The way the system is now has hurt my game pocket book very much.
Simply solution is to have tell the players what there profit will be for the price they wish to list it at.
EXAMPLE:
item to vendor gives you 25 copper
someone lists if for 26 copper
the game now tells them they will make a -3 copper profit
26 × 15% = 3.9 (4)
26-4=22
25-22=3
How it should appear if done correctly
25 copper to vendor
player lists for 50 copper
50 × 15% = 7.5 (8)
50-8 = 42
42-25 = 17 copper profit
Also make a removal fee that would really hurt the players pocket book for those that are using it as a trash bin
if an item is listed for 20 days. have it removed from the TP for the vendor cost of the item.
EXAMPLE:
25 copper to vendor
player lists for 26 copper
after 20 days have the 25 copper removed from the players bank/backpack where ever they have their money.
So instead of getting 25 copper from the vendor they will loss the 25 copper for every item that had in the TP for 20 days. (give them a warning saying they are getting close to 20 days on items they have listed in the TP.)
may I ask what level you are? Good items sell for a lot, but personally, I didn´t check the TP for items before I reached 80. With the speed of leveling, it wasn´t worth bothering with items being outdated in one hour of playtime. I can imagine many players think like that, so low demand on items below endgame levels.
my highest is 25 and I have been playing since launch. I like to take my time
hmmm I am talking about non crafted items as well
I have 5 gold at level 53 and I haven’t used the trading post once…
If you used the TP logically you should have 50 gold by level 50.
All you have done with this post is prove that you do need to use the TP. Wisely and correctly. ie. don’t under price items nor over price them either.
Is there some way to get the Trading Post pricing to stop being so stupid?
I spend more time and money on salvage kits then I do even attempting to place an item for sale on the trading post.
It is very simple.
For items 0 – 5 you charge no more then 50 copper.
for items 6 – 10 you start at 60 copper up to maybe a silver.
for items 11 – 15 — 1 silver to maybe 2 silver for masterworks
for items 15 – 20 1.5 silver to 2 silver.
Then so forth and so one.
massively over charging for a 0-1 is bull
but at the same time charging 20 copper for a level 20 item?? SALVAGE KIT!!!!
Come on people wake up get with it. Try and make some money in the trading post but at the same time don’t try to rip others off or yourself for that matter
NO
I am totally against mounts. I see no need for them. You have waypoints all over the place. Plus most if not all classes can give themselves a speed buff. All they have to do is take the time to learn the weapon or spell to do so.
Mounts are something else to have to chase after. Plus then the statement comes up “Why can’t we have combat on mounts”
Now I have to admit that if you look at concept art you will see mounts there. Like bison for the Norn for example.
But still I see no need for them. If in future expansions that make it where you have truly long distances to travel then I will most likely change my mind.
Again at this particular time it is NO NO NO
I agree with this as well.
But I really what to know how to use them. I haven’t quite figured that part out yet. Sorry if that makes me sound stupid.
I find the crafting system just fine. It doesn’t need a thing done to it. (well except what they have already planned to do)
I find nothing wrong with criticism as with anything it is needed. There is just a huge difference in the way it is being done. In particular on MMORPG.com. I have posted many times there and even have a blog there. When I post in the threads, most of the time people will turn it into a flame fest instead of an intelligent dialog to give ways to improve on something that is different then what has been out there.
We all know and agree that this game did what WoW did. It took things from other games and packaged them in a new and interesting way.
I haven’t had this much fun in a MMO in years, and I have been playing them a long time.
Is it because we are having fun?
Could that be the reason behind the bashing?
But to get back on topic. My point is that these forums go live and the amount of positive threads decreases and the amount of negative threads appears to increase. (It is most likely staying the same, but due to few positive threads being made there), shows why I made the original statement in this thread.
(edited by Krosslite.1950)
You open more of the forums here, and the forums on MMORPG.com turn nearly completely to GW2 haters. I guess that says volumes about people getting sick of all the bashing that this game has taken.
