How, when you’re constantly running around swinging weapons? (This is light-hearted, as some don’t understand)
(edited by Lazaar.9123)
I dunno I havnt seen anything saying that it will take place directly after point of no return so there is the potential that we could see some purely cosmetic changes to the world in that time
It was said so at PAX south.
The Tribal armor set and other armor sets that were sPvP-exclusive will be obtainable again at some point in the future. There is no ETA as to when this will happen.
Look, I can quote too.

There won’t be living story stuff, there will be festivals and other things though.
“Celebrate the Year of the Ram”
There probably is a crybaby thread for vine skills ingame already,
Avatar of Melandru vines
sylvari utility vine
Ranger elite vines
Rune of the Grove vine2 are AoE vines
3 are no-targeting required
2 are under a minute rechargeClearly op vines are already wrecking wvw pvp balance.
Racial skills can not be used in PvP.
“Events can detect that players have not performed any actions relating to the event within a period of time and will scale down the event accordingly.”
Source: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dynamic_event
Events scale down when some of the players are no longer participating. Though, it is still better to waypoint away so that you do not get in the way of people trying to res people who are only downed. You still get your full loot for participation.

The change only applies to characters that are level 80…
Most people will have a handful or more Mastery points by the time they reach level 80, just by doing content. That applies to current level 80s who get retroactive Mastery points, and future level 80s (the system probably keeps track of Mastery points gained before level 80, and automatically awards it to players once they reach 80, immediately replacing their level).
That’s stuff I have already said.
Oh sure, let’s just remove everyone’s commander tags that they paid gold for, that will go over swimmingly.
They removed 4/5 of my tags when they made it account bound, removing the last one wouldn’t bother me.
If you contacted them you were refunded gold. I’m guessing you didn’t do that?
I contacted them twice but nothing happened, I wasn’t holding my breathe either I expected as much… My experience with this game has been nothing but wasted investment.. I had 2 volcanus when wardrobe was introduced (felt sorry for people with duel incin), lost 400g in tags from another change and nearly made a full ascended zerk set right as they nerfed crit damage lol
If you had more than three commander tags, you were refunded gold according to how many more tags you had that was not the first three. You either contacted them after the window where they were refunding (which was a large window), or you never had more than 3 tags.
Runes and sigils: Negative, explained
Dyes: Fine, not much price different and needs more sources
Ascended rings: Good idea, is needed
Infusions: Eh, could go either way.
Lodestones: Negative, explained why
Personal suggestions: Breaking down an unwanted unopened ascended armor/weapon chest into ascended materials
and yet here you are still pressing the point.
Edit your post to match your intentions then?
Sure but when you give your feedback and the other person tells you they are interested in it and just want to hear suggests from the community and you continue to press the point your just being argumentative and kind of a kitten.
Interesting, because before these latter posts of yours, you never mentioned you wanted only suggestions.
I don’t remember asking for feedback… suggestions yes feedback no.
As soon as you post a suggestion you open yourself to feedback, whether you like it or not.
Not at all just not interested in being goaded into a circular and pointless argument.
All my feedback was constructive, as I showed you why they would not be a good idea, but you refuse to listen to such feedback.
Really cant say i have ever seen anybody claim that before. Its all irrelevant as for whatever reason you approve of the current incarnation of the Mystic forge and cant be told otherwise. Id prefer to see this post get some more suggestion and not turn into more of a kittening contest that it already has become.
So basically you refuse to take any criticism?
9 gold sigisl become 4gold and 4 silver sigils become 20s. Sound like much better prices to me and a more diverse market…how is that a bad thing?
Yeah, it wouldn’t work out that way. Have you bothered even thinking about prices and implications before putting forward the suggestions? Or researching them?
Actually quiet a lot of research actually I also have a degree in game design and work in the industry. So yeah I know a little bit about the subject matter.
Anyone can claim something like that. Also none of that necessarily means you know much about economics. And then the fact all your suggestions seem to be based off your own personal gain.
Lodestones
- 50x Piles of Bloodstone Dust + 50x Dragonite Ore + 50x Empyreal Fragment = 1-3 random lodestones.
People have those mats en masse, hello lodestone market crash.
How often do you get four of the same runes or sigil?
Your words, not mine.
The suggestion for runes and sigils would actually break the market for superior runes and sigils. (Which is a very bad idea.)
elaborate please? I actually don’t see how it would.
Turning 4 major runes that are worth 4 silver each into the superior version worth 9 gold.
How many sigils are worth 9 gold? the chances of getting that would still be pretty low.
One rune is 11g, one is 9g, one is 7g, One is 10g, One is 4g.
For sigils: One is 3g, one is 5g, one is14g.
As for the “chances of getting that would still be pretty low.”
Runes and Sigils
- 4x green sigils or runes should make 1x random yellow rune or sigil.
-4x of the same type of rune or sigil should make 1x upgraded version of that rune.
- All upgrades should have a very rare chance of giving you a further upgrades rune e.g. 4x green sigils can proc 1x exotic sigil.
The suggestion for runes and sigils would actually break the market for superior runes and sigils. (Which is a very bad idea.)

Might want to watch the video again. You will still be 80. Other people will still see it. You will still see it. But it will also show your mastery level. At the same time. One will not supersede the other.
" In fact, once you have unlocked the ability to train Masteries, your nameplate will display the number of Mastery points you have gained rather than your level. Mastery points can be gained at any level but cannot be spent until level 80."
- Official news blog
That’s pretty stupid, but it will still be obvious that they will be visually different than normal levels. But how will that display with someone with mastery levels on a low level character? Masteries are account wide so once they have masteries worked on, even a level 1 would technically have them, though probably wouldn’t be able to use them.
It doesn’t change for any level below 80, only when the ability to train masteries is obtained. (Reaching level 80)

I’m curious as to why you think a map-wide event wouldn’t work? Killing the dandelion in Silverwastes is a pretty good example of map-wide efforts culminating into a big boss fight.
But yeah, anything other than a repeat of Zhaitan
Because it’s personal story. Vinewrath isn’t related to the story much.

It’s a good thing open world PvP will actually never happen. Thread is hypothetical.
It was never removed?
You mean back when people thought dungeons were too hard? People learnt the game.
Only thing ppl do is group up on boss and nuke then help downed ppl….ofc every1 is in full zerk gear….that is the tactic for 90% of bosses lol…../sad
Yeah, sadly the AI of dungeons is awful at best, broken at worst. It’s kind of doubtful it will ever be fixed. :/

Apparently Revenant will also be able to use off-hand dagger.
We are going to rebuild the Glory of Tyria and then shoot him with magical fireworks, of course. Rebuilding the pact flagship will require you to button mash QTEs for 40 minutes without breaks.
Is there a confirmed release date for August?
No. Speculation.
I think a lot of people are missing the point. When you buy a game, you buy everything that the game adds to it. If it’s an expansion then that is fair enough as the content of those are usually vast enough to warrant the sale of content.
Very false, when you buy a game, you buy the content that it had at the time of release unless it is otherwise stated in legal documentation. Any future content is purely up to the discretion of the developer and publisher.

It’s the torch race event for the Flames of Kryta item, it seems they accidentally left some code on.
That would not work for in-game reports, as they won’t see anything wrong with the party description.

Light pants.
so….to summarize all that: they also gonna have HoT at the same time as we have, but just without that hypetrain we are currently riding on?
Yeah, that seems to be the case.

It’s being released in China, kongzhong is just handling it, quite a bit differently. Their posts about it lack the enthusiasm of ArenaNet.
CC Eva was saying that a full server is full because the numbers in that server have reached the cap. It says nothing about whether or not people can transfer out and the server drop from Full to Very high.
I have a quote from the then Head of Account and Technical Support agreeing with the statement “There’s no way for him to join a server listed as “full”, although in the future that might be possible with the guesting process. For now, you have to wait until the population drops from “full” to “very high” or “high”, at which point he can transfer to your server (the population shifts during the course of the day), or you will have to both choose a world with a lower population to play together.”
If you have a post backing up what you are saying about server blackouts, please show it.
And yet your above post doesn’t say anything about what the cause of it being full is. And “The population shifts during the course of the day” goes directly against the theory some seem to believe as fact.
As for server blackouts, it’s something I have personally experienced (as I used to do a lot of guild WvW.)
The cause of it being full is that the server cap was reached. So many people made it their home server that no one else is allowed to join until someone leaves and a position opens up.
Some believe something is a fact doesn’t mean it’s fact. Your personal experiences doesn’t mean it’s fact.
If you have anything more than random speculation, post it.
And yet server cap being reached can also be referring to active population. None of your quotes say anything about the server cap being reached being only accounts created on the server.
No one says it’s either/or. A full server is a combination of people who have made accounts there and who have transferred there.
There is no evidence to your theory. And thus, my statements stay the same. Which is what I have been talking about this entire time, that there is no evidence for it. So, discussion closed?
Edit: Posts that didn’t support your theory. A theory that was brought upon by one forum members misinterpretation, the same as what you’re doing. While my theory is based upon how every other mmo server works, even ones owned by NCsoft, who also own ArenaNet

If a server is full then a person who wants to transfer to it either has to wait for it to drop to very high due to population fluctuations from people transfering out or wait till ANet increases the capacity, which they do periodically when a number of servers are full.
There hasn’t actually been any conclusive proof that’s how the system works. (Infact the very notion that some servers do ‘server blackouts’ by logging off to let people transfer in, and it works, goes against that theory.) ArenaNet are very unlikely to ever divulge the information, either, because of how much gems are spent on server transfers.
Actually, they have stated that’s how it works: Source

Lol. That’s Gaile Gray in that red post. She has been with guild wars back when it was Guild Wars 1. The Community Coordinator is her current post. She has had other positions previous to that, most recently before this was in Account and Technical Support. While she won’t know everything, If she says something is true, there is very good reason to believe her.
No, the red post i’m talking about wasn’t her. And there have not been any other red posts actually talking about.

And also it isn’t a sufficient answer, because it doesn’t actually say anything. People suddenly transferring off a server in off hours every single day doesn’t make sense, and “server blackouts” work.
