So one conclusion can be made for certain: Lazaar Plays on NA server.
Correct? XD
Yup!
Yeah, it’s been like this since forever.
“These encounters will require greater skills and tactics to overcome, whether you’re adventuring through our jungle on your own or with a party. "
It seems the bosses may actually have a wide scaling range, even down to solo.
~snip~
I’m thinking more along the lines of a group abusing it together, and yes, that will happen. Though the feature may have good intentions, the intentions of others aren’t always good.

Sure.
As I said before. You won’t walk, LoS. strafe, dodge roll or any other /coolstorybro move when you are slapped down and stunned. The Cds on signets to break those are long. No one shows up to every fight with those up and ready to go. No one said the necro provided the stunt-lots of classes have access to those. (this is a a sPvP scenario btw)
The point is the damage output for a spammable is kitten kittened. Obviously no necro is going to use this in non favorable conditions. GW2 pvp is an intricate blend of skill, builds, creativity, and reactions time. Monkey dumping 7k every .75 seconds is none of those. If you’ll notice in the OP ss that’s over 34k damage in about 3.75 seconds or 9k dps. Enough to two-shot 75% of the DPS oriented population in 1.5 seconds, given the right circumstances such as most anyone else’s KD or stun timer.
Well judging by your combat log image, you were not actually trying very hard to get away at all. In the combat log there is no application of fear or stun, only one skill causing knockdown, which was a downed skill, which was casted by you, which indicates you were not trying to get away at all. So no, your situational awareness is just awful or you’re lazy.

It’s likely to be multiple colours, because of the legends. Elementalists have different skill colours according to which element they are attuned to, after all. The Mallyx legend could easily be purple, because Mallyx was a margonite. King Jalis could maybe be blue, because of how the legend is being described as more tanky.

This feature would be abused very easily.
Um, there’s still a lot of SW maps going in LFG, don’t know what you’re on about. It’s a good zone to make money. You just probably don’t see them because they pretty much filled as soon as they are posted.
Above post updated with the source.

Well it’s already been discussed and it was stated that bringing them back is something they were going to look into. (Though no time frame)
The Tribal armor set and other armor sets that were sPvP-exclusive will be obtainable again at some point in the future. There is no ETA as to when this will happen.

There’s always those couple special snowflakes that flock to their cause to make sure other players can’t get rewards.
The PvE crowd drowned us with insults anytime PvPers asked for anything as a substantial reward because they didn’t want to have to “be forced” to do spvp to farm for money or get materials. It HAD to be less than pve yields. And long before that, we basically got kitten on over and over. A year and a half hardcore progress got you some skins up to rank 70 quality. That time and you still couldn’t make tier 3 cultural. While pvers ran around in legendaries, cultural and had money to spare. Then they got to bring that stuff right into spvp with the wardrobe change. I think it’s fair to hold on to the little bit we had as an advantage as a momento of lousier times.
Except that doesn’t apply fully, what if there is someone who started playing after the wardrobe change and only does PvP? Why should they have to miss out on something just so some people can stroke their ego of playing at a specific time? That is not skill related, that is just playing in a specific time frame.
Frankly? I wouldn’t mind if people who were rank 30+ back then to reobtain them if they had that rank prior to the glory patch. But I don’t see that as a likely option that they would take. :/
But the legacy feeling of it is quite powerful and helps to ease the past frustrations. If they gave it out super easy it would instantly lose all of that value. Obviously it’s not up to me, but I do think it’s an interesting perk for dealing with the lack of attention we had.
“Legacy feelings” is just another term for egos. Your argument can be applied to both sides, so why should newer PvPers miss out? It wouldn’t even be given out super easy, glorious armor isn’t. You don’t see many people in PvE wearing glorious armor. It requires a fairly substantial time investment.

Only characters that are deleted due to a hacked account get restored.
So is the mod safe for use ..or not ? because 2 years ago it was a clear No , and now from what ive been reading on diferent sites and forums its permited…isnt there a official response from Anet thats more up to date.
I mean the mod only keep the right click pressed and use mouse buttons as 1 and 2 actions…( if u have a gaming pc , mouse and keyboard u have a way bigger advantage).
Its just that this mod look really cool and can really improve the imersion in the game not to mention it would be fun as hell.
ArenaNet do not review mods. Apparently mods are permitted as long as they do not give you an advantage over other players, or performing more than one action at a time. They are still use at your own risk though.
Have you checked the news page?
Wut?

He put a bow instead of a blade.
I know, but i’m not seeing the point of it.
i mean they said they wernt going to do a boxed expansion right?
“Nothing is off the table.” – ArenaNet
$60 = 10 new zones worth of content.
$40 = 7 new zones worth of content.
$20 = 4 new zones worth of content. If you got a different opinion fine. Post it up. I’d love to see what your expectations are or if you can just criticize others.
So, would you count those tiny little areas that were only used to travel to others in GW1, as zones? It’s quality, not quantity. (Then there’s the fact a large number of the zones of other MMO expansions are only used for leveling, nothing else.)

But why should person X be less valuable for the server than person Y just because person X is not able to play during a supposed prime-time?
Then we also have the people whose prime-time fits neither NA nor EU prime-time.
Not to mention people that work other than typical 9-5 jobs, which might only be able to play during the day or during late night/early morning.
A player is actually more valuable to his server during off hours, takes less people to do the job of many during prime. If enemy servers don’t have those 5 nighcappers that can counter our group of five, then our five players can be responsible for 600+ tick.
Why should nighcappers’ time be more valuable than time of players during prime hours?
And why should they be less valuable? Not to mention your example seems extremely exaggerated.
a kicker kicks field goals and only gets 3 points where a running back or receiver is rewarded 6 for his effort. Is a kicker less valuable? Many games are decided by kickers. Ironic that he gets half the points yet kickers are the leading scorers in the NFL.
And how is that relevant to time zones in even the slightest? Your day time is another persons night time, and their day time is your night time. The same argument can be directed to both sides, so why should either side be treated any differently? (Also a sport, especially one that isn’t even dominant outside of America, really isn’t a good comparison)
Wut?

Someone isn’t going to come in and magically give clarification on things, wait for the official blog posts.

It’s not a permanent thing, it’s already been stated in interviews that you can swap between them when you like.
Run a condition build as Caithe and it will be a lot easier. (Caithe caltrops are pretty OP)
Cast caltrops and run away to where you can safely avoid everything.

Boxer shorts covered in hearts for Valentines day, please?
Did you unlock the skin while in the pvp lobby?
Yeah I know I just thought I might as post on here and see if I get a response from Gaile, worth a shot
Gaile is just collecting questions, I don’t think they can answer questions about future content that has pending information to release.
If I can’t ride one of those dinosaurs I’m uninstalling this game. Anet I know you guys want to ride dinosaurs too. Everyone does. Come through for us on this one
I got my fix of dinosaur riding from Saints Row 4.
Can’t the owner already kick people out of the golem?

My thoughts are you are thinking too much into this. Both the GW2 and GW1 rangers go pretty much borderline druids with some of their skills.
If you wait until off-peak NA hours, tarnished coast usually goes open.
Iv’e found it funny that people think there is confirmed thief sniper, even though the character in the trailer could have very easily just been an Engineer. Incoming thief mace!
I’m honestly curious; what, precisely, does the mace do that one of the sword sets doesn’t already cover? If you’re looking for a disruptive, controlling ‘club ’em upside the back of the head!’ set, I honestly can’t think of a better way to do that than S/P. It’s the reason I’m always a little confused when I see people arguing so hard for mace on Thieves – and so hard against rifle.
I get that the PvP guys don’t want Thieves to gain anything that would make them actually viable in PvP…but frankly, I despise PvP in games like this for a variety of reasons and generally argue from the perspective of general PvE and similar content. I’m not seeing how the mace could do things the sword sets don’t already cover in spades. If you know what those things are, I would really appreciate being clued in.
Where was any of the latter put in my post? I was pointing out the fact that people are getting their hopes up too much when it could easily just be an engineer. Sure are jumping the gun on your responses, aren’t you?

The particular specializations from the expansion will probably be locked, the system itself will not be though (for future specialization).
Whether or not Lich can be countered is besides the point. Lich, Rampage, and some other stuff are cheap mechanics.
You could say the same about stealth, illusions, turrets, fresh air, ranger longbow 2 and meditations.
Every class is OP!
I’m more interested in specializations, so making a revenant is actually going to be one of the later things I will do. You don’t speak for everyone OP.
You know some people actually enjoy leveling characters, right?

In the new trailer released on the IGN special interview, you can see more of the ruins which are definitely Mursaat architecture.
Let’s be realistic. They’re not going to release it to soon before the holiday season, because if they do, they lose out on a lot of revenue that wouldn’t happen otherwise. Also, it will take time to make the game. At least, if they do it right this time. Even if they don’t, it will take 6-9 months minimum before they release it because of everything that goes into making a MMO or even just an expansion. It isn’t nearly being done being coded, that’s why there are is almost nothing in terms of content posted so far.
May: Alpha / Beta announcement
July-August: Beta
Sept.: Release date announced
Late November: Release date
Dec. 12th-19th: Big sale on GW2 and HoT.
You do know they didn’t just start working on it, right? They’ve been working on it for at least a year.
I honestly dont see why everyone thinks that adding a little bit of a need for build diversity would be a bad thing. Whats actually wrong with needing one out of five people to fill a support role? We’re not creating these posts because we’re “bad at the game” or “need to learn my class”. I have four level 80s decked out in Zerker gear, and its freaking boring. Having the same exact role, and only one required build for each class in PvE content? This is seriously what you people prefer over the trinity? If the majority of opponents of build diversity being more of a required aspect of the game can’t come up with better arguments than “learn your class” or “play a different game” than I would say that there are very few solid arguments to be made.
Maybe you should actually read the thread then?
How would you perceive it if it was more efficient to complete the new content by using more diverse builds that encouraged team support instead?
That’s the thing though, this is already done, people already provide support to each other. It is already very efficient to support your team. You just don’t need stuff like healing power because of how everyone heals them self instead (something that will not change), and condition/boon duration can be obtained through consumables and through trait lines. The other stat sets have uses in the other game modes, so as iv’e had to post in so many other threads of similar topics, not every stat set needs to be used in every game mode.
