BTW if druids is their final answer for rangers then please at least make druids control pet more. like empowering pets and being able to summon two or something similar. since they want to continue on ranger’s path with pet class then make druid use pets as their skills so it can feel like playing as one with their pets.

Dont sound like a druid but maybe Tamer elite spec when they get around to add that.

1 they already have traps so cant add that type of utility into a elite spec
2 a later elite will most likely be hunter useing a rifle.

That wasn’t a spear… It was a staff. Revenants use a melee staff. In fact, they had a comment on that, that they wanted the artists to be careful with their item choices as it would cause confusion and frustration. Clearly he was correct.

They aren’t making ascended weapons and art just to “fool” people. That would be a horrible waste of resources…

Title is too short to capture the thread but in a nutshell the Necro is not looking good for the rumored challenging group content in HoT. Really, if many of the current issues aren’t fixed before HoT i am not looking forward to being ostracized any more than we are today. What bothers me most is the trend seems to be continuing with the reaper. The shouts look dismal compared to Ele’s and yes i know it isn’t final but i don’t hold out much hope because the fundamental flaws that exist today have persisted for 3 years with no end in sight. The fact is they are sticking to this slow lumbering Hammer films monster vision which makes us a survivor but in the end it isn’t enough to justify being needed in most scenarios. The GS skills shown in the Reaper preview may look good on paper damage wise but don’t mean squat if by the time you land the skill your opponent is logged out eating a bowl of cheerios.

Of course changing the business model at this point would indeed cause a kitten storm, which is why it is a theoretical model for discussion.

So going forward, if an announcement was made now – that in future this model would be adopted and you would have a nominal ‘subscription’ to play every 2-3 years when a major expansion was added:

a) would you be happy?
b) do you think it would be good or bad for the long term health of the game both in terms of maintaining and attracting new players and financially for Anet?

Yea it happens I got kicked out of a p1 p2 p3 exp coe group becouse when 4 manning the first trash the elem thought the dps was to low asked everyone to link gear.

Being honest I said i was a pvt guardian and got kicked 3 seconds later.

Was I mad sure it wasent advertised as a zerker party but 1½ min later i found a new party to do all paths and that was at 4am my time.

The all welcome teams fill up fast thats why you dont see them.

When 8 out of the last 10 pugs with a LFG message of “not a speedrun” leads to the players quitting because several paused to watch the cut scene or get booted by the meta majority who joined up anyways for slowing the group down then it seems like it’s not a minority who are griefing the non-metas.

At least my guild runs relaxed dungeon runs but the majority of them are in a different time zone so getting together during the week is tough so I resort to starting pugs but to no avail.

Not a speedrun wear what armor you like and we kill the mobs/bosses in what ever time it takes you skip cutscenes since everyone have watched them as much as they want.

If you want to watch them type it into your lfg msg watching movies…

Might take alittle longer to fill but the players you do get wont quit or kick you out of dungeons.

Another problem is we have germans and french who put up lfgs and dont chose language even if they dont type a word of english, make it pretty hard to run dungeons with new players that you cant even communicate with.

They would need dailies like vista 1 ore/1 wood /1 herb in this area, go to this map, kill 5 of this enemy type and so on.

You cant really tune your game to people who play about10 mins a day.

Same like they cant tune the game to keep me entertained with dailies if I play 5-8 hours a day.

I find my own fun.

I got pvp point capture and pvp defender in 1 min game by joining a already started map go on the loosing side and brute force a point from the other team and defending it.
But then again I already had all the other dailies completed except the specific classes pvp ones I only do those if I get lucky

you do know you get obsidian shards from the bandit chest join a map with a commander and some shovels and you will be swimming in it i bought 250 shards and got 50 of each resource and like 1.5k shards waiting if i want anymore.
And I havent really grinded sw farm

if you pre ordered you plunked down what 5 bucks? you have to talk to the store were you did your pre order anet cant help you.

You never farmed karma with the dailies you got it from events and 1 jug a month from monthly. You get more now with all the small cans you get everyday for pve dailies.

Go take objectives in eotm or wvw thats good karma, do pve dailies teq and any other de you stumble upon.

Weapon bind is a terrible idea. What if I wanted to be a Condition spec’d Revenant using Mace/Axe but need to switch to Jalis for tanking. Now I don’t have access to my condition-inducing Mace/Axe. I’m stuck with Hammer and no conditions to give.

I dont see why you wouldent be able to bind the same weapon set to both legends if you want to.
Its more a issue for people who want to have access to ranged and melee when swaping.

I like both of the suggestions either binding dif weapon to each legend or the weapon change out its mechanic on legend swap.
