Like the ruins for bloodlust you need to capture one take afew seconds.
Land claimer you need to kill one bronze ring npc marked as a flag.
veteran creature another bronze ring npc.
5 guard slayer total of 5 bronze rings
disrupt the supplies. you need to kill a dollyak that walk bettwen objectives, it dont even fight back while walking.
Keep, tower and camps can be harder to do alone. ( usualy there are plenty of people around to help cap stuff)
as usual there are 2 easy 2 hard each day if you got a 80 on the account.
Anet you need to fix that guardian bug. It’s absolutely ridiculous. We melted Teq with like 12 and change left on the clock. -_-

On a side note I wonder if a ranger with piercing arrows hit the crit spot if he aim for head and stand at an angle behind one of Teq front paws. Maybe ranger can even hit two paws and crit spot if standing right.

You need to earn the favor from members doing guild missions.
You need to extract the aetherium from the guild building I would guess every day.
And finaly you need crafting materials I guess this is the ones that are abundant in supply atm like leather 350, mithril and elder wood.
Dont you level up doing spvp now? + you get tomes from that aswell
what level were you?
i think hero challenges open up at same level as skill challenges used to and thats lvl 13 if i remember right
sorry but the point for the elite spec, for example the Reaper trait line, is to BE the Reaper spec. I am sure as a normal necro you can use a Greatsword.
Im not so sure about that since the elite specs brings new weapon, elite, utility and heal skill never have they said you would be able to use any of those without elite spec.
most mmo xpacs give you huge maps, and things to do. anet tries to make you think a free toon slot for a new class is something to behold, when other mmo xpacs give those to you FREE.
and this xpac only opens up 3 areas in maguuma, out of the HUGE tyrian world atlas. this maguuma isnt even maps, it is areas because they are much smaller, like dry top.
and after leaving the broken personal stories to linger rotting like no one cares abt the game for nearly 3yrs, wtf makes you think this game/xpac is worth even $20, let alone $50….?

I’ve done Teq twice since they doubled the hp and succeeded them both. I don’t get the problem?

If so I applaud you since that have only worked for me during reset teq once since the change.

they are account bound so you cant sell them, people who want it now will buy the pre instead of working towards it.
People like me will work towards the pre they want and feel rewarded for doing so.

I get Spirit Shards, and I understand we’ll know more about Mastery points when HoT is released, but once you’ve unlocked all utilities and specializations, what to do with Hero Points? My main currently has 213 Hero Points, will I really need that many to unlock the elite spec?

I’m getting sick of being told to ‘suck it up’ and called ‘lazy’. Remember when TC first defeated Teq? Yeah, I was there. And I was there the second time. And I was there when TTS formed. And I was there after every nerf, every tweak, every buff and debuff. I was there sometimes three times in a day depending on if I had insomnia or if I was struggling that night with illness or depression. I learned every part of that fight to the best of my ability and geared accordingly. I am not a Hardcore Elite Meta Player but I’m not a lazy scrub either, Teq and I have clashed over a hundred times. Those runs at 3am where the map was kittening? Yeah, it was me telling them to not give up because I’d been in groups that took Teq down with seconds to spare. I arrive 30 minutes early, I often volunteer for the defense jobs no one wants. The zerg is a dodge fest, a jump fest, picking up the downed (not dead) players before more poison drops, shaking off the fear breath, I don’t know who you think is afking and just pressing 11111 because it’s not me and it’s not anyone who genuinely does Teq.
And I am going to tell you right now… the health pool is too high and all I am seeing are failures. Two people who said it was ‘fun’ that I know and to ‘get over it’? They were on defense and not in the zerg, trying to burn down that extra 100% HP and stand in the tiny tiny spot you can crit him in while he isn’t stunned. Defense hasn’t changed at all so I can see why it would seem ‘fun’ when you’re not standing in three poison fields screaming for a cleanse. Phase one isn’t ‘fun’ unless you’re a masochist or unless you have very very good turreters. Being in the zerg is brutal.
Teq has always also been borderline content to me. It has requirements but they could be fudged a bit. Whatever debuff made it too easy to send him into the second and third battery phases from burn probably needed a small tweak but nothing like this. When content gets to the point where 100 people all have to be playing with perfect skill and no one can mess up, then you’ve pushed it from challenging into a chore. I can’t control how SoHrdCre on the turret plays or force Bearbow to wp and not lay there dead, scaling Teq up further. I can’t count on making it to a map full of just players like me. I don’t have hours to waste waiting in Sparkfly for a spoon. Now I’ve watched someone stream a successful Teq so yes, it can be done… but that was a guild map full of people from a single guild and maybe five PUGs. All three of the attempts I went to failed. Failed. In two of them, people left after the first burn because there wasn’t enough time left. Obviously something is wrong here and needs to be balanced.
Unless you have 200% extra damage from critical strike on the majority of the dps ball, ask commanders to find the two damage spot bettwen the legs when you face the head. ( seem to be easiest to find if you dont have anything targeted)
That one do twice the normal damage since it hit two spots and is acctualy higher then crit spot.

Play the game and you’ll find that there is no compensation.
If there is no compensation, then file a bug in the bug forum. Based on their own comments, there should be. However, like I said, I have no idea what the drop rate is. Eventually that data should make it onto the wiki though.
The question was where one gets spiritshards from, the answer: from doing all stuff that formerly gave scrolls of knowledge.
As well as from simply killing monsters as a lvl 80, once the system works they way they said it should.
Level up is called level up by the game , not by me. So, complain to them about the “technically unjustified name”.

Now were suposed to get shards drop from monsters, but they never stated what monsters can i get it from a level 2 moa? or is it only elites and champions?

Kudzu still has that ugly looking generic bowstring that sometimes doesn’t even render (I much prefer when it fails to render).
Fortunately, anet decided that rangers shouldn’t be using longbows by making their melee builds so much stronger.
Melee have always been stronger then ranged.
I got about 80 in just one day, since they automatically add to you wallet now I can’t be to sure exactly where I got them from. So they seem to be rather easy to get. Just occasionally check your wallet you may be getting them faster than you think.
No, not that easy as you have to kill champs/bosses, you can’t get them otherwise – so it’s not “play as you like” which is what people could do before this patch.
Maybe he spvp alot i remember them droping there fairly often.
I mean if you aint going to buy it before release so your there at start you might aswell wait for a sale after launch and save enough money to buy the character slot anyway.

Yea its a prebuy insentive, but i think aslong as you buy it before launch and apply it as soon as 30 mins before launch you should get the slot.
I lost some utility skills as well, which messes with my build planning, and I don’t feel in control of my character any more.
Also, my ranger didn’t get hero point for lvl 27 & 29.
You dont get hero points every level just like you dident get skill point every level after the npe was implemented.
Havent leveled a char myself after that hit but useing a level 20 scrolls dont give you 20 points it gives you 8

Honestly, rather than hoping to sell for higher I was just hoping it would keep its value. I never had any use for such a big pile gold at anytime and I enjoyed having the item.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by ‘new’ players. If someone has not purchased Guild War2 core game, and pre-purchases HoT, they will not get any ‘refund’. The refund only applies to existing customers (those who purchased GW2 core game prior to June 16th, I believe the cut-off date is).
Yea its hard to get a refund for a game you havent bought.
This is a low hanging fruit idea for your ANet. Add an extra path to each dungeon which would be a “challenge mode” version of the story mode with unique rewards.
I just think it’s a shame that there’s a path in each dungeon that we have no reason to run after the first time. This would be like adding another path without having to change the dungeon master achievement and without having to go through the dev process of creating the new path. This would give us more content to farm!
Why stop there do it to all the explorable paths aswell.

A quick update on this one → After feedback from presenting the original hero point count – we decided getting to level 80 will give you enough hero points to unlock all the core skills and traits entirely. Doing hero challenges (aka skill challenges) will simply allow you to earn all the skills/traits earlier before level 80. With the release of HoT, there will be options to spend the excess hero points earned from doing hero challenges in the world.
There are a number of other changes on 6/23 to make the experience from 1-80 more exciting, better-paced, rewarding, and fun as well after having the time to evaluate and player feedback from the updates last year.

Hi Everyone,
As I understand it, lvl 80’s should have enough hero points to train all five of their core specializations.
However, I am not seeing this to be the case. My Lvl 80 Ranger has 232 hero points after logging on. Each core specialization (if originally empty) needs about 307 hero points to train completely. That’s 604 hero points for my two untrained core specializations.
It is the same for all my lvl 80 alts. Not enough hero points to train in all core specializations.So, what am I missing?

You are missing that the points you spent are counted in towards the next buy in so total is 60 for a whole core specilisation
You got enough points with the ones automaticly trained to get all skills and all traits now at 80
My hero points seem to be bugged, I do not get any when I level up! Went from lvl 25 to lvl 28 with my ele and I got nothing. It sucks
You dont get hero points every level only those levels that previously awarded skillpoints.
By level 20 for example you would have 8 hero points.

All you need to do is tweak condi dmg across the board downwards about 8% and you are good to go.
And buff the resistance of the World Bosses
