i still play, but i can list reason why i tend to play less.

- SoloQ/teamQ only this need to happen. (sure one might be more popular but people should have choices)

- same old same old crappy rewards. (Anet decided to add these rewards, make it crap;py to get them and all so that they can just forget about it.)

-Match making still suck and creates lopsided matches (people always says the population is the reason.) season 5 has lots of players yet i experience this kinda bad Match makings.

-NO class stacking NONE 1 class per team, maybe 2 is ok. you can still swap class before match starts but it wont let you stack class pass requirement.

yeah sadly the god pvp title last season in NA belongs to alt account yeah definely losing players. last season i counted 12 pages of friends participated in pvp now 5 pages only. also i rem. i drop from t3 plat to t1 plat and i was out of top 250.

Nah, not really. The minimum games requirement is keeping a lot of players off the leader boards for now. Just wait until the end of the season. Top 250 will be ~mid plat 2 or higher. Mark my words.

so that people just sitting on decay and just hammer out all the required games on the last week or day? 0_0 unless they are very good they will gain or lose large amount of MMR but ok. so NA is not dead they all just gonna play at the end of season lol

meanwhile in NA if you hit tier 2 gold you get put in top 200 leaderboard LOL good job ANET. duoQ moarrrrr, crappy/same reward moarrrr

she been saying this since season 1 season 5 and season 6 MM being the same is worst then any season for me but i still see winning streak. a lot of players who believe in MMR hell still struggles today i wonder why? the legendary players from season 1 to 4 are either in legendary or plat. while s1 to s4 diamond players are in gold. what does really tell you? if your decent enough players and improve as you play. your not really gonna drop down below your division skill level.

its possible u glance at a wrong team score and think it was your team.

with season 6 losing hype. crappier same rewards, even fewer players… PVP is basicly in maintenance mode where Anet found its happy place to just ignore it and let it run on its own.

the answer is simply NO, but w/e Anet do its simple those players who cant even go up beyond gold division will still be in those division. specially if your bronze player from season 1 to 5. go ahead Anet listen to them, like you listen to people who want more prestige and elitism in a small community. dont get me wrong i like pvp but i think i will shrug season 6 same as i did w/ season 5 and only care about getting my ascended rewards then have a dont give a ….. attitude towards after than. MO if your reading this replace your decision makers in pvp w/ fresh ideas. how can this people copy paste ideas from other proven pvp game and still manage to screw season 5. specially its Match making.

well this sucks, at least EU have 55 and VM .. meanwhile in NA ESL players fighting and ruining pvp scene just for a god awful title.

im pretty happy with season 5 overall also…

my only grievance is w/ Match making, the broad scope of how it looks for team mates is ridiculous just to lower the Q times. at 300 rating diff is really big plat players should not be team or go against someone in silver. or legendary against gold. lets be honest season 5 is very harsh on solo player.

Do any players in NA see season 5 a success or epic fail? before the season ends they banned couple of players but im surprise that some of them still at the top 20, those players are w/ the players who got banned for reasons. i think Anet didnt clean the leader board enough. kinda easy to tell because they in same guild or play w/ each other… if someone is guilty of Match manipulation do we really think the other person has no idea?

i made threads about this beginning of season 5 and was largely ignored and dismiss. they keep saying give it time. i know im just a platinum level player, but when the match making system is not working properly (fair match). i gave up on this season but i still play for the loots, i no longer try to be in legendary but instead content in platinum. (did earned 500g just pvping)

if u think condi evade thief has no counter u havent seen a good symbolic DH

Legendary = good pvp players/ESL w/ lots of free time to play. ( some of them its their job to play video games )

platinum = above average casual pvp players that have other things to do.

gold = average pvp players also meh

silver = players who know how to play their class but not in pvp

bronze = newbies, nubs, MMR hell believer

meta achievement is finishing all the required achievement. if you actually click on the achievement it will show you a list of the achievement you need to finish.

roll a DH symbolic which has a lot of condi removal and kill him.

u do understand its a conquest mode. and holding point is more important than killing someone. bunkers are here to stay.

yes they did the right thing. i actually wish that ascended shards is not limited to 1200 every season. seeing for pve players also someone like who also like pveing 1 ascended set is not enough.

nothing wrong w/ esport but take it from the founders of riot games, they said build a good pvp game and the community will make esport out of it. you dont shove it to your player base throat. but to be clear im all for esport in gw2 if they really think is beneficial of the game not juts select few.

this happen bout a week ago i think, i saw this guys in HOTM with cool armors skins so i was checking him out so irem this guys name and rank. he is in silver… so then my Q popped and to my surprise its the guy i was staring about. and im in plat 2. needless to say we lose.

the problem this season is the bad MM system we have and the rating system which punishes you really bad for losing just 1 match. because you have to basically win twice to even get back at your rating before your lost happen.

were asking to raise rank requirement not deter newbies but to minimize alt smurfing.

i dont think this is the worst season but the Matchmaking aspect probably is the worst.

rank 40-50 should be the requirement. rank 20 is so easy.

just make it impossible to swap toon if your character is down or have taken damage/combat. there its easy now its up to dev to code it.

funny enough i see ESL players do this during match most of the time. not gonna mention who.

to be honest i dont really care if some alt account get some title, but this is not good for the pvp community or those who wants to join. if they ban this people only 2 things can happen either they stop playing gw2 entirely or but another account with in that case Anet wins and community wins. but Anet is too soft, they are more strict in what u said in forums than whats going on ingame.

this what plagues NA, and ANET will actually reward these people… i wonder if ANET will do what BLIZZ did with Diablo 3 leaderbaord before it ends they banned everyone you used alt account and accuse of Match manipulation.

Solo Quing as Necro is totally kittening impossible.
How can you say this game if balance when you will get focus all game every kittening game, Im sick of this kitten trying to kite stay alive Vs 3 other player only to have the thief jump you when you run out of shroud. It all happen every time, you will just get farm all day every day.

I’m kittening done with pvp with balance this bad, its not worth the stress to try and play a class who is number 1 first target every kittening time!

youre looking at it the wrong way if you know how to kite you can save your team by not having pressure on them and while they kill everyone. i seen a lot of necro whos really bad at kiting. im not even that good myself but seeing someone much worst than me is very painful.

i dont know i always try to win when i play even during the past 4 seasons. now that its more harder to go up specially for someone casual like me it kinda sucks, but i cant even imagine to those who struggle in season 1 to 4 they must have quit pvping already.

t2 plat here i gain/lose 11-15 rating. my biggest rating gain was +20 against 2 duo of esl players. biggest lose was -17

i soloQ as necro but as a rule i have to have ele at my team. and dont 1v1 you kinda like a thief just +1 anywhere except u can actually wipe the enemy team if they leave you alone long enough. and yeah i dont run soul reaping. i use spite, curse, reaper

I’m definitely going to be looking up the match. I need to see what the ‘real’ before/after ratings are without things like decay and make sure those are the right players.

this been happening since the start, also this is the reason anet doesnt want us to see everyones mmr during match. coz they know MM sucks. so much for that spvp trailer they made with “matchmaking” word flash in the screen LOL

why do u care about the badge that will go away every season? ur missing out by not playing, get those free ascended and gold.

duoQ needs to go and have pure soloQ only. also anet need to make seperate leaderboard for the 5 man teamQ. they have done it with the guild leaderboard but sadly in NA. ESL players abused it.
