its unranked game why are u even surprise? whats the requirement to play unranked? level 2 pve toon?

looking at the names of legendary in your SS, i recognize those baddies so it means, someone in your team is high enough tier in diamond to fight against the bottom feeders of legendary division.

sadly nothing in pvp interest me once i reach legendary every season. i just stop pvp and login everyday just for daily.

yeah thats totally possible, the only matches i’d lost were the ones where i totally couldnt do anything for various reasons (mostly human factors) but with some luck its possible to get none of those or simply play in full premade like that person probably did

im not the best at druid by one thing i always do is i alway volunteer to cap home, then head to mid. and i always focus necro or any non melee players. i just keep rooting them and have my pet dps them down. it also builds up your astral so u can run to low allies and heal them. also dont stay in astral any longer after u cast some heal;s get out of it.

LOL legendary title dont mean kitten, i rather have an ele with magus title or warrior with legionaire at least i know they won 150+ unranked/rank matches…. legendary chamnpion can be achieved pure by playing hotjoin. u know those map that they tag each other and swap wins.

the thing about your boycott is not all think MM is bad compare to s1 and s2. gudluck!

Look, I’m all in for the ideia of seeking a 50/50 outcomes results, but not in the way it’s been done this season.

Instead of matches where every side have a 50% chance of winning, so in the long run we would’ve approximately a 50% win ratio, you achieved this ratio with blowouts matches. In one match my team would win by far, and in the next, I’d lose by far. And both were boring as hell.

It got to the point where people would know in the first fight which team they were (the winning or losing team) and if it were the losing team, they could just chill and afk for the rest of the match, because the results were setting before the match even started.

Look at my statistics, that would be awesome if most of the games weren’t boring blowouts. Please, fix your matchmaking. 50% win ratio means nothing if it’s achieved like that.

is this your main account? if so your super new to pvp seeing you’re only rank 69… 2nd of all holy kitten 400+ games talking about grinding and congratz! now don’t be fooled with all the QQ here in forums blaming MM for every short fall or losing streak they have. now as for blowout games, it will always happen even if you have a perfect MM and balance classes. many reason why blowout happens, but main reason is players giving up when face by certainty of defeat. also if you ever played during season 1, you have the incentive to keep playing even if you’re losing because you can still earn a pip or two just by having a close match. it was removed during season 2.

hi, a lil about me as a pvper, i consider myself as casual player but someone who has grasp basic knowledge of conquest mode, other classes and pvp itself. as someone who played pvp 7k+ games and reach legendary rank each season in a week or 2. and also someone who spent time in lower division with my alt account. i notice a pattern during matches that turnout to be lopsided blowouts.

1.) upon scoring 150+ or 200+ score someone in the opposite group tends to go afk or just give up.

2) i also notice this become prevalent during season 2 and this season. because of the lost on incentive of players to keep trying to avoid losing pip. during season 1, i have matches where we lose 400 -500 and actually gain pips yes pips! 2 to be exact for losing because our team was heavily favored to lose and we came close to actually winning. this is not the case anymore for season 2 and 3.

3) players skills are drastically diff. specially in sapphire and lower division. for example ele /engi doesnt even gives swiftness to team during start. you wont see much of players swapping classes till you get to diamond+ so team with bunch of ruby VS diamond will almost always tunout to be blowouts. so bringing your sapphire skilled friend to play with you in diamond will give ur team a handicap.

4) having someone DC, a 4v5 will surely be a blowout. (no pip lose its ok)

lots of players seem to just blame the matchmaking for all the lopsided matches and losing streaks they have. and they have the right to do so for Anet is not even clear and not transparent in how the MM works. they could at least make a official sticky in the forums in how everything work if they havent already.

Low tier legend vs high tier diamond. I don’t see anything wrong that devs or other players haven’t explain yet. But for you one more time. Your within pip range of each other. 15 or -15 and even wider the longer the ques are.

Legendaries stopped caring because its so rare for us to actually GET a game that we just want to have fun playing it at this point. Going for legendary this season was the biggest mistake I made. I should have PURPOSELY tanked my games regardless of how that affected the people around me because then I would have atleast been able to play.

As it is right now I havn’t had a match in several days. I go in to que and in the 30-40 minutes I wait for the match I lose interest in playing at all and just leave. Because I know its very possible im only half way to a match.

Believe me If I could get more than 1 match a day concievably I would give more of a kitten about the quality of said matches. But as it is there isn’t much point for me to que at all much less worry about how even the matchup itself is gonna be.

Next season im just gonna play bloody Power Greatsword Reaper instead of my main because atleast then itl take me longer to hit legendary.

I LOVE the league system. But I HATE being at near the top of it.

do what i do play with ur alt account and give urself a handicap like no elite or playing non meta builds, its fun even if u lower ur chance of winning. specially winning 1v1 against someone who has elite spec.

its a right of passage, u have to fight legendary players to be even accepted in their division. happens in every last tier of each division because your within the pip range of lower tier legendary.

complaining about warrior which is not even viable for 2 seasons… great!

Not to say class stacking is okay, I hate it and would love for a no stacking rule, but double ele isn’t the problem lol

double ele mean losing the game for me, having 2 ele in 1 team is useless, as someone who plays ele i switch the moment i see we have an ele already.

truth is ele is forced to play support and nerfing the only build they can use will kill the class, shaving its skills potency is viable but not to the point of crippling the class. right now a warrior can put so much pressure to any ele, and if followed by a necro or other warrior and any players will surely kill the ele.

often if your at the last tier of diamond, u get to play against bottom legendary players, which might have higher mmr than u. i think u should have stop when ur getting consecutive loses and wait a few minutes to Q up again.

u kidding right season 2 is by far the easiest compare to season 1 to play soloQ

so here’s my take on this DDos debacle, 1. how likely u get DDos? u have to be either really famous and enough nerd to be mad at u for that to happen. 2. getting attack during tourney automatically points that a supporter of opposite team is doing it, and it cannot be proven. also is now the biggest excuse of pro players instead of saying the usual oh im lagging excuse? i experience ping spikes to 10k before which is unheard of in my area, then after a game, i was ok. i dont think i get ddos attack. i blame my isp for kittenty service.

you dont see any rev hate thread maybe because, they arent really bad? i play ele, and the only 2 class that has a chance of killing me 1v1 is a rev and reaper. those 2 combine will be instant death of me. but your talking about usefulness during match? lets eliminate warriors right now, lets face it u dont want them in your team unless u have no choice. a thief if left alone will decap ur home the whole game. but even if one of your team mate sits at home the whole game 4v5 at mid a thief wont do much against all the aoe being thrown.

if u spent, those games playing in your ruby account you’l be in legendary already.

PSA: Play your main, then you can switch character during match before the game ends, so it would count toward that character. Easy. (Just make sure you have a good lead, so you don’t screw your team if you load too slowly).

amazing that a lot of pvp players doing achievements dont even know they can do this. i once partied with 3 warriors because of achievement or daily. or both teams have 3 DH. its so easy to play your main and dominate your opponent then switch right before the end.

anet needed 2 months, to add 1 title for pvp. a whole year to add new rewards for pvper. i finish the legendary wing this season, as many did. what do we get now for playing during season 3? how bout season 4? title? u can only wear 1 title u know? before they talk about new legendary wings every year for pvp, another one? by that time instead of getting legendary gear, i am just getting a skin. with the legendary devs. pulled to do something else i dont even think they will add new rewards for pvp.

i main warrior, but u have to admit that other class can perform the role better than any warrior, i climb legendary on my alt account w/o hot and i play MM necro. and i cant say how many warriors, i shrug during fight because they have no chance in killing me 1v1. most of warrior i see posting here become stepping stone in my alt climbing legendary division. warrior is in a sad state. but if we ignore it, anet will think they are fine. i say bring the adrenaline back, so it doesnt drain off combat.

your within the pip range of those low mmr diamond players. no problem here.

im a new player. just started 3 months ago. ive been playing hot joins the whole time…only for 2 weeks have i been playing rateds. i just reached legendary today abd won 6 games in legendary so far. i watched alot of guides like buckets and helseth on how to rotate and many other guides before i started playing rateds. ppl complaining about being stuck in a certain divisions, quite clearly its you and you need to improve. look at guides and see where you did wrong when you lose games…right now im at a %85 win rate. played necro ele and mes depending on comp

lets say that this is a correct representation of gw2 pvp, 38% reach the highest division. is that too high? or no?

i’m a big advocate of having soloQ before, but after the first MM changes, having no soloQ doesnt impact solo players as much as before. playing solo during season 2 if far way better and forgiving than in season 1.
