The saving lord Faren under 3 minutes bit isn’t easy to do solo. I’d recommend getting a group for that part, making a post on gw2lfg asking specifically for it.
As for soloing without dying – I’ve done it on my 80 mesmer, took a few tries, and I brought in folks on the last boss because I was always getting downed with scarlet at 10% hp.
What gear are you running? I was full zerk and seemed to always be low on health, I know it works great in a party, but if you’re soloing maybe you should mix in some soldier’s gear?
inb4 standard “this has been brought up COUNTLESS times!!! nobody wants it!1!!” response. I completely agree, any MMO worth its salt should have a dueling feature 1 year after release, this is simply embarrassing.

I sincerely hope there is some sort of refund like they did with the karma containers. There was simply no warning to these changes and a lot of people lost out on a valuable, time-gated currency because of it.
Same issue, stuck at 1/2 even though I’ve closed portals in 7 worlds now and got the 7/7 achi for it. Yet for some reason my Friend of fire and frost wont advance past 1/2, even though Ive done multiple portal events (yes portal, not molten or aethers) in both fireheart and frostgorge. Worth mentioning also that swift closer achievement is bugged, saw the issue in another thread and I also don’t get the initial buff upon closing a portal.
With the new Queen’s Jubilee just being announced, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for an event that will leave a permanent effect on Tyria’s political landscape. So far we’ve had the murder of a LA councilor, whose name I doubt anyone remembers, as well as a vote between two fairly flat characters ( though I admit I’ve started to warm up to Gnashy )
Wouldn’t it be awesome to see Logan’s reaction to the death of his beloved queen? Wouldn’t it feel great to witness an actual change in Tyria’s history. With so many “events” like the killing of Zhaitan, the cleansing of Orr and various story dungeons not having an actual effect outside of their instance, wouldn’t it be great to see permanent change occur?
In light of this, I think it would be simply fantastic for all heroes of gw2 to see a monarch fall, and to be there to witness it!
You chose two of my favourite classes, I’d say go with mesmer if you want more relevance in dungeon runs (or high level farming), while elementalists have, in my opinion, more playstyle options. Both have great utility and fun value, however.
I have a gotten a few souldbound items that are given during character creation.
Is it possible to make those item account bound? Since those item are taken up bank space. And I want to move it on to a mule to hold.
You’d have to transmute them onto a white or blue quality item of the same type (and maybe same level). The item you transmute onto also has to be unbound. Cheers.
Try guesting to Tarnished Coast, it’s the unofficial roleplaying server so there are a few more people running the world than most other servers. The sad truth though is that most players are already level 80, and populating the higher zones, so unless you get some friends or guildmates to level alts along with you it’s gonna be a lonely journey.
ofc theres a system to stop people killing low level people , in every pvp system theres a penalty for people who kills low people or random guys… theres no point for getting gear. and Kitanas you didnt explain me why this dont work.

You can see a full solo of me, a 7 minute duo of us (third run after 3 month of zero AC) and some other things there. Duo’ing the burrow part is about 20 seconds.
With 5 men you can split (some people waiting at scepter search while others do burrow part) and killing bosses doesn’t even take 5 seconds then.
Also, farming AC rewards me with way more money than CoF or even Arah.
What do you know, even on that forum, where you go by the name “Sylars” people have called you out on dubious claims. As far as anyone’s concerned, you haven’t provided the evidence needed to back up your claims. Besides, this isn’t at all what the OP was looking for in an answer, so kindly take your ego elsewhere, thanks.

Not more rng bullkitten please, while it may be good in the short run for profits, I’m sure they’ll end up alienating their customers over time with these policies.

On a more serious note, I do agree that this game needs more interactivity, so people are more motivated to participate in dynamic events and actually feel like their actions matter, I’m just not sure if this is the way to go about it.
+1 waiting on more versatile armor sets since I reached 80. I do understand it takes a while, with so many races and 3 sets of armor for each, but if its a lot of work, maybe allow user-submitted content for graphic designers that play this game. That way Anet doesn’t have to spend manpower on this, customers can get the content they want, and the creative community will have a blast designing new armor sets as well.
Where are they getting this info from? It’s not in game for me yet, did they get some sort of special preview? or maybe its open on EU servers already?
This is a great idea, now if only ANet could get a move on and show that they pay attention to what players are saying instead of plugging their ears with their fingers…
This thread. ANet really needs to start paying attention to what the playerbase is saying and acknowledge when things need to be changed. Either by combining some of the servers to increase the size of PvE, creating one (or several) large PvE only servers, creating underflow or whatever. The important thing is for them to SHOW THAT THEY ARE TAKING THIS ISSUE SERIOUSLY. Because otherwise they will start losing players, and eventually die out.
