Me and more than half of my Guild was trying to get the Bonebreaker achievement past 3 days but with no luck.

Labyrinthine Horror simply never spawns !

We spend many hours in Labyrinth but non of us was able to get one.

Few of my guildies managed to get in at the 1st day of the event but since than he is gone for good.

I use The Dreamer on my Thief and got this visual bug lately all the time.

The Unicorn practicles that are supposed to scatter around the explosion area after detonating the cluster bomb skill appear around the character not at the shooted explosion area.

(repairing the game didn’t help so i assume its not client related but server related)

I’ve been P/P – SB thief since Headstart.

I can’t put in words how big was the blow for me after this changes.

It was really unique build for those of us who embraced it – and really viable onces you master it.

Other builds are same old same old absolutely boring – I just cannot force myself to play with daggers or sword. (mind you i have 8 characters that utilize those weapons way better and has way funnier mechanics related to them)

The thing is while i find Jumping Puzzles funny and do them (I even did 4 hours long guide runs when Silverwastes JP came on after the patch) others don’t.

There are people who not only dislike this type of content but they’re bad at them and unable to complete them at all even with your help.

Why punish this group of players when you have the tools to provide them with more than 1 options (Jumping puzzles) in order to achieve their goal ?

This game offers huge variety of content why restrict it ?

So personally I would say ‘more of this’, not less.

Only if there is and NPC or something that you can interact with and push “HARD MODE” please.

Not everyone want always hard content some of us want to get relaxed and play casual that is why everyone need to have the OPTION to choose.

I am all for that, I even suggested that on these forums, but then the hard mode should also reward you better.

The way I suggested it was as follow. You do x content and it rewards you a silver hammer, (easy mode), do it on medium and the hammer gets a golden head, do it on hard mode and it gets a nice effect as well. (again you could do the same with multiple items in the same content but one being a guaranteed reward and another being rng)

But rewarding the same (as you seem to suggest) would not make hard mode rewarding enough anymore..

Nope bigger the challenge – bigger the reward.

They even have system to provide this: People who want more challenging content could be provided with challenger motes and get their desired hard mode. (this has to be done ages ago for every peace of this game).

It can include different levels to choose – Hard,Very Hard,Insane etc..

Like I’ve said – they have the tools they just don’t do it for some reason which is unknown to anyone.

Tell me something that is not optional in this game ?

(mind you i’ve completed most of the content in this game – including Mad King solo and naked – just to prove that even gear is optional)

I cannot understand why devs involved a JP (optional content) in collection item hunt?

Even to a JP enthusiast like me this move is wrong in too many ways.

Its mandatory to finish the JP to be able to complete the collection and get the Princess.

Why didn’t you allow people who dislike this type of content to do something else that they actually like in order to complete this collection ?

Hello ArenaNET not everyone likes your JPs – where did the “we want to to play the game as you like in order to achieve your goal” thing go?

Superior Rune/Sigil of Shatterer

So as someone who have all the classes and used variety of builds on each class I felt like there is a missing – A Percent (%) damage based on opponents HP Condition.

So as old moba player I’ve got inspired and got the idea of having a Rune and a Sigil that have % damage based on opponents enemy and decided to call it Rune/Sigil of Shatterer.

You will than say that this may be to overpowered and ruin the current bunker builds – Nope the idea is just to spice of the things adding something really Insignificant like 1.5% up to 3.5% for the sigil based on the opponents total HP pool.

The sigil is pretty straightforward having something like 3.5% damage based on enemy total HP.

The rune can be combined with 1.0,1.5% or 2.0% based on enemy total HP with torment Condition.

EDIT: The damage in PvE and WvW can be capped or those rune/sigils could be disabled out of sPvP to not mess with outside balance in general.

Since 2-3 patches the Merchant express/Trading Post Express and few more items that comes from Black Lion’s Chests are “Account Bound” while old onces are “Accoount Bound on Acquire” and now they don’t stack.

Not sure if this is bug or intended.

ArenaNET just do not care – they’re so late with HoT (adding or removing features while you was supposed to be shipping already – just WOW?) that they didn’t put any meaningful event since Wintersday (which was copy-pasterino from last year).

I would like to point those 2 systems once again.

They both need to be adjusted – its been few years now since the game have launched and those past years we get many new things like: Massive boss events as well as massive events like Silverwastes and Dry Top events and with the megaservers introduced the current party system simple does not do the job anymore – we need Raid system that have more feature and have a feature that allows raid leaders to rally his raid to a certain map IP in order to have more organised events – current system bugs our a lot and don’t have any meaningful feature to support the current state of the game events.

The other system i would like to remind everyone and mostly developers of this game is the GUILD system.

With the coming guild halls I think it’s best time to adjust this feature of te game as well.
I’ve already mentioned long time ago (you can see in my signature) about some changes to this system we can have but we got way more stuff introduced to the game since than and i think that we need a complete overhal of Guilds features and get them involved and related to RAID system we hope to get 1 day.

After seeing the changes on sPvP as a whole I really would like the guild system to be changed and to be on par with upcoming Guild Halls feature.

There are many more part of this game that need changing but those 2 are my top priority.

“One of the most loyal” does not imply not being chosen means you’re not considered a loyal player, it just means a person who got invited is literally just one of the people considered eligible for an invite. They’re not saying they’re inviting everyone who is “loyal”, just a random few, so it’s only natural there will be people who are left out.

And congratulations to everyone who got invited, I hope you all have fun even if it’s likely there will be bugs and crashes galore (not a dig at ANet, just how early betas usually are).

I think you expressed this very well, Pandaman, and thank you. It truly was not “every loyal player into the test” but just “We’ve inviting a few loyal players” with the knowledge that this is a brief stress test and there will be other opportunities in the future!

One does wonder how can your devs avoid all the questions about important stuff during interviews and posts here on forums but let this “LOYAL PLAYER” non-sense slip?

It’s only a problem because there are still players that take this literally even tho it was quite apparent from the get-go that this would be a randomised draw.

You may have been in the pool (thus being a loyal player) but the luck was simply against you. Get over it.

I do not even care to practicipate in betas anymore i just find the e-mail they’re distributed very poor worded.

No idea which part of my post you didn’t understand since it’s pretty clear where its focused.

First of all i would like to remind everyone that patches used to be in reasonable times for European players in the past (around 21:00-22:00 CET) but lately they’re somewhere after mid-night.

I would like to know if the future all patches will be delivered that late so i can re-do my schedule as well as my guildies and friends.

As I said in my post above. Set yourself to Invisible and you won’t crash. This is the only workaround at this time.

I was invisible all the time and crashed 3 times – this don’t help.

Have to disable the other chats as well as chat bubbles.

Our whole Eternal battleground just crashed – 4 times in a raw in matter of 10 minutes.

Someone in Teamspeak said that apparently is related to some malicious CHAT CODE (like the bugged food chat code) that is making us all crash when someone post if on the chat or whisper or w/e.

Almost everyone who was at Eternal Battleground today around 22:00 crashed with this crash report:

I can tell because we had an open raid with 60 man in our teamspeak and the same second i crashed more than half of the people on TS complained and reported same crash.

There was multiple (like 100+) reports on our server website with same crash report.

UPDATE: we have contacted the opposite servers in our match up and they’ve reported massive crashes all day long today too – so it’s wide spread issue affecting everyone apparently.

UPDATE 2: We’ve tested turning off chats like /m /t and /w (by going insivible mode) and well as disable the chat bubbles.. apparently this prevents the crash and proves that its malicious CHAT CODE related – god bless TEAMSPEAK i guess.

I’ve just purchased the game for my friend.

We’ve finished the registration and downloaded the game using the link in his website account.

But when we try to log it it says: Either there is no current Guild Wars 2 event or this account is not authorized to participate in one. Ranger in WvW after balance patch

1. “1500” Range has been proven to reach out to 1970+ on level ground and even further with a height advantage.
2. A Ranger can have 3 pets at once.
3. Rangers have a Stealth, A Destealth, A knockback.
4. Much of WvW is 60%+ of Rangers oft times & virtually to a man they spam only Rapid Fire/Long Range Shot.
5. It can be virtually impossible for most other classes to defend structures vs the ridiculous length & burst of Rangers because they can’t get anywhere near the 1970+ range.
6. Giving the class with the most range a super high burst was/is a poor design decision that leaves many of us to conclude that Anet staff are playing Rangers in wvw.
7. Comparing any other skill/skill set/build to RapidFire/Long Range Shot is moot because they can’t reach out to 1970+.
8. Any talk of “How to Counter” has no bearing on any of what is in the above 7 Truths.

Now have at it & troll away but make sure you Read all 8 & don’t craft your troll attempts in such a way that they attempt to refute any of the “8” from my pack of vicious truths.

You want to make it even close to fair…Make an Anti Pet Trap with the same amount of penalty time that the Stealthers endure.

You just leave out something which makes me think you don’t play ranger ,,, Obstructed, Obstructed, Obstructed ….

I used to be a necro…

I did too…till I realized they put the voices in cut scenes on the music track. I turned my music volume back up and then I could hear the character’s voices during cut scenes.

Pretty amateur that GW2 was done that way. I hate the game music.

Some people told me its the Environment volume.

I had that muted (or at 0) same for Music (i like my own music while i play since i do WvW mostly)

I’m having this problem where some voices are do not exist during cut scenes.

I can read the subtitles but some characters have no voice during conversation as well as last cut scene last Living Story 2 episode was entirely muted for me.

Anyone have any idea how to fix it or have the same problem ?

I think that all the steal and metal as well as all the tech that was left after Scarlet’s attack over Lion’s Arch should be used in creating stronger city this time.

I think that this time the city can be rebuild to its former glory and not made from ship wrecks that was used in re-building it last time when the whole Orr thing happened.

Scarlet’s attack was so strong that she left tons of metal and tech peaces all over Lion’s Arch (just remember the city sized Breacher and all the Watchknights)

For me it will be a complete Lore fail if they’re not all used – we can still see all the junk laying around.

Yeah, but the difference is, you ignore mine because your answers bring the flaws in your suggestion to light. At least that is what I believe. Hard to say since your not answering them

Not a problem I have. There is generally one map without a cue. If they are all cued, it is generally relatively short, but I much prefer a few minutes of queue time to your idea of forcing me to jump through hoops to get on the same server/map as those I have developed comrodery with.

Why don’t you add those folks with who you have good history as your friends ?

Do you know what the cap is on friends list? Some I simply had no need to add because I saw them daily. Adding folks to a friends list in the heat of battle and motion of map roving is difficult. A unnecessary step when i see them every day. And both them and myself occasionally take time off.

I never suggested anyone doesn’t want tools to improve WvW. I simply suggested that I do not want you over complicated system that forces players to require toput effort into using tools in order to play with those that they play with now, and requires no tools beyond logging in.

I do not assume. It is common knowledge. Would you like some recent you tube channel links that verbilize it and go into detail explaining it? I have 10 or so of my own from trying to get coordinated parties into triple trouble or Teq. As well as videos displaying how a group can enter EotM at the same time, and even though from the same server, guild, and even in the same party, they do not get in the same map together on the same team.

So yes, I can provide you with tons of evidence if you are actually that far out of the loop. Sorry, I gathered that anyone fighting such a hard fight for their idea, as you are, would be aware of the facts and functions first.

I do not encounter this problem. I general see a fairly even spread. In my experience we tend to use common sense among guild leader and spread the major guilds out between BLs and EB reasonably equivalent. At the very least, we go for one experienced pin per map and one inexperienced pin to shadow them, on each map. Their respective guilds go along with them, and we let the smaller guilds and solo players distribute themselves in the mix. As a general rule, this developed a culture of this early on and it tends to happen organically now.

What is your approach towards a new guild which transferred to your server and do not want to be part of your server community ?

Not sure this is ever a problem. 99% flat out want and enjoy the coordination as far as I can tell, and the other 1% paid for the game with their own money, so they are entitled to play as they wish, and we work around what they are doing in a small way.

Where are the players coming from then, to fill those so called gaps?

Why do you assume servers do not have community guilds? Simply because they know there are players they want to see again who have not joined the guild.

You do realize guilds have caps right?

Have you ever been to PvE? The servers there do not get people in the same map simply because you claim they are “prioritized”. Thus, questioning that is extremely reasonable. players in the same server, guild, and even group, very very often do not even get in the same map without having to finagle the system ans spam “join member” over and over to get in the same map.

Why do you falsely assume players want tools to allow us to play together. As of now all we have to do to play together is log on. Why should I be required to use tools to find folks I have a good history with already?

If it is already common knowledge that the PvE, mega server system, almost never works as you claim, why would we want to move it to WvW?

this is just a bad idea man, population problem will be worse when nobody is in wvw anymore because its turned into EoTM. You seem to have some personal issues with wvw and thats understandable, there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out, but this is not a good idea by any means. If your getting burned out, take a break, its ok to.

It’s okay not everyone is capable of having opinion to provide feedback aiming for improvement.

-Those problems are eliminated with the raid system I’ve mentioned since you can take to your map anyone you want – no more queues,trolls and large guilds transfering to your server to fill 1 of the maps for themselves.

How many players on your server who are not in your guild or not on your friends list, do you run into and help or get help from, and go ……………………………………..“oh yeah, I remember that name, I like this guy, he always helps me out”…………………………………Now unless I have this guy in my guild or friends list, I will never see them again, because your system wedges a gap between the players I am in guild with or “friends listed with” and those I play with regularly.

How do I maintain play time as team mates with those guys under your system when they are not on my guild or friend list?

For the 4th or 5th time since I’ve started this topic – the system can be made to prioritize players from your servers when placing them on maps when joining WvW – same as PvE Mega-Server system prioritize friendlist/partylist and Guildlist 1st.

The people who you played with will still play with you – Mega-Server system is there to fill the gap and solve the POPULATION problem like I’ve wrote not to send you to anonymous drunks meeting with random people.

You people have to understand that the 2 systems i have as ideas are meant to provide you with tools so you can play together without being burdened by queues,time or people with bad behavior.

This suggest you are speaking for others yet you refuse to say who, and that you feel your community has more value.

How are my server regulars going to play together regularly? When you were asked how they would be organized, you say ’raid leader" this and “raid leader” that. Am I now a raid leader instead of a commander? How do I group up with those solo players or small guilds that I do not recall everyone until I see them? Do I have to have all 2,000 players I may want to see again on my “friends list”????

how will there not be queues? Unless you are just randomly and all hodge podge like, into a map on random sides, there absolutely will be a queue. Otherwise I am being “forced” to play against the players that I want to play with. Forced by your idea that you keep defending.

If my server AND FREINDS (server A) , have 200 players on, and (server has 20 online, and (server C) has 50 on. The only way your system balances anything is to rip my server AND FRIEND apart to throw them together with those they enjoy competing AGAINST.

Now tell me, in this scenario, how my friends get to play together, under your suggestion, in an even match? Without fracturing our community that is?

A map which can be full due to pugs having holidays or partly full separating your community and forcing part of you to play in border 1 other in border 2 and some in eternal battlegrounds.

Some of my best scouts and closest in game friends are pugs who run in very small WvW guilds or guilds in which they are the only ones who play WvW.

Stop insinuating they are bad for not being a part of a large guild. As well, drop your eletist ego for a second and pretend that pugs can know commanders, players and others outside of their guild. They can know each other for goodness sake.

Have you ever been online at an hour when no one else in your guild is not in WvW? Didn’t that make you a pug to everyone else who was online in WvW at the time? should you be ostracized and punished for that reason alone?

Like I’ve said in my one of my previous post the mega-server system can be made to prioritize your server when placing you in a map so your that players which you can’t even remember their names can be placed on your map too.

Or you can just create community guilds like most of communities and rally each other to the map you feel like playing on. (I’m surprised you don’t have those actually).

You can’t play against your server – mega server system will place your server under one color only (similar to sPvP or EoTM coloring system) so you have nothing to worry about.

I’m a scout myself and i play with 3-4h difference from most of people in my server and our community/communities i don’t mind anyone who don’t know me to call me pug or random – with current system which have the server transfer feature there are new people on my server every other days so i do not expect everyone to know me so i do not mind – we get to know each other in few days and fight together.

Mega-server system for WvW could be adjusted to prioritize not only your friend list,guild and party when placing you in a map but your server as well.

But this wont be needed if we get a working raid system where your community can just rally each other to few maps when become even better eliminating any free-rollers who do not contribute your community by actively participating.

It will improve the established communities and provide you with tools you can utilize in your daily raids where now you don’t have any tools than a colored tags.

What do you mean what about them? Your suggestion separates them and destroys the concept as a whole.

How would you adjust said Megaserver as you say? Friends list and party? So I am forced to either lose my community or hunt down everyone individually and “friend list” them? That’s not very well thought out.

Why do I need a “raid system” to rally my community that already works together? The ONLY reason we would need to rally together is because your suggestions will tear us apart. The fact that you literally asked “What about them” makes it very clear that you are not concerned with other players communities, and their attachments to them.

So a community for you mean a map where you can play with your folks ?

The current system is separating you while my idea is to provide you with tools and system to be able to play with your folks when ever you want.

-Those problems are eliminated with the raid system I’ve mentioned since you can take to your map anyone you want – no more queues,trolls and large guilds transfering to your server to fill 1 of the maps for themselves.

The raid system and mega-server system will remove the burden of permanent maps like EB and the 3 BLs – there will be always a map where you can have your guild/community raid no matter what when ever you please.

You post that in a manor in which it appear you are implying your opinion has more value because of a community you claim to be a part of. What community would that be?

The community I’ve mention have nothing to do with wvw mega-servers nor raid system and it’s part of my own game life so I’ll rather keep my private stuff – private lol.

how does your multi map suggestion keep folks organized?

I’ve answered this question multiple times in this discussion – the raid system will provide raid leader rally feature allowing raid leaders to create large raids and rally anyone to their freshly create maps since mega-server’s main feature is to re-create existing maps when they’re full.

I have a very large community outside of my guild (as do others I know) who want to stick together. How does your idea not destroy that?

The answer is same as to the previous one.

What do you do when one of the 3 (teams?) has enough to populate 5 maps, and the other two teams do not? Do they sit in queue for hours?

There wont be any queues – i suggest you to go read the information about how the mega-server system works in general.
Mega-server system’s main feature is to re-create filled maps so you get on a freshly created map and before you ask if rest of your raid/friends or guildies are in one of the filled map you simply create raid and rally them to your fresh map so you can be all together – No waiting in queue or having to deal with trolls or make death threats to people to make them leave the map.No more empty maps on your raid night.No more having to deal with trolls – you simply jump to new map and continue having fight fighting in battlefields.
