But you’re posting on a, well not entirely, public forum therefore you’re opening yourself up to be challenged by people who disagree with you. If you want a closed line of communication between yourselves and the developer then you should contact them directly via e-mails/private messages/support tickets (I’d prefer you did not do the last one as that would be a misuse of support resources that could be better utilised helping people who needed it).

I’m not taking anyones right to answer me. I want to make it clear I dont care about other players opinions. I care only about my money and experience. And customer support is a waste of time to post opiinons. Only public demands on forums make companies react because it can be seen by potential customers and they want to keep good looks.

To reply to your comment too: People who want to buy the game won’t come to the forums to make up their mind. They read reviews, ads, or ask friends.

It is customers right to complain and this is the only way a company can feel obligated to do anything. If more ppl share the same attitude as the V-bot, companies won’t care even a little about quality of products. Bussiness is bussiness but money comes from ppl so we, customers, must be treated with respect. We are no walking wallets.

I wish there is a red post saying "we are sorry, it happened because …. " not so much but helps to understand why this patch is so annoying. Good ideas, bad execution.

wow… I think… you are right. This whole game feels sometimes like beta test going too long.

The companies should be treated with respect as well. This is something everyone seems to forget. They are providing services in exchange for that money. They are made of people trying their kitten dest to make their customer base happy. They are not REQUIRED to build this game, they are not required to make you happy. That is their privilege. They could all sell the game, and then leave to work for other companies. In business, BOTH sides must have mutual respect for one another. If someone truly believes that ANET, or any company, should be cow towing to their wims, then they have the wrong philosophy of life.

I pay the so I expect a product to be good. When they make a mistake I want them to hear it. And who are you to tell me about my life philosophy? Are you another online shrink?

while shadow refuge is useful, very often I replace a main thief in our party with my engineer which almost compensates during skips.

This is an incentive to make more ascended copies if you want. And ascended craft is an important gold sink.

Cant you see we’re getting fixes daily? I understand an outrage, I am disappointed iwth this game more and more because of this but come on they are fixing it.

Keep ascended gear on a char you play fractals with and the rest will go fine with exotics.

Ascended already has a QoL feature which is account bound. Even legendary equipement can’t be used like wardrobe skin and you need to move legy’s between characters.

Complaining has an important purpose. When unsatisfied customers are going vocal other ppl become aware that advertised product may have faults. This is company’s job to avoid such mistakes in the future.

I find actually funny that such buggy patch was released soon after big sale for gw2. Isn’kitten great marketing lesson?

while I actually dont agree with many things going on in this game, the one thing I like is their presentations; when I see a guy playing the game that he was coding few hours before I feel connected to it, I know he knows what he’s doing and I trust his explanations

when presentations are done by marketing specialists I cant stand the corporate talk and manipulitive tricks they are using

Let’s be fair, while I find many of gem store items lazy cash grabs (those outfits grrr…) you cant expect model designers to fix gameplay bugs. Those ppl are not qualified for this. There is a very good video at TotalBiscuit’s channel which convinced me that when major work is done only things left to do for design team is to make cash shop items. And I agreed with him at the end.

well they shrunk (well perhaps a better term is outsourced)the QA team without throwing in a PTS for like a year now. Annnd id rather have a pts if these are the results.

Being a free test subject is an illogical idea for me. Why PTR servers? if they want players to test their game they should pay testers.

If the revenant is the last profession (which is logical to me) its possible with next expansion(s) in 2057 we’ll get new race.

Game was sold with the “future patches included” on the box. If the game is broken it is his right to complain. Pretending that nothing happened is the reason why companies dont care about customers anymore. If accept everything they try to do they dont need to care anymore.

Guy is expressing his worries about stability of game build. He says he’ll wait until it’s fixed. Why are there ppl taunting him or asking to get his stuff? He’s not leaving, he’s making a break which is kind of wise if he’s not satisfied with the game now. And some of you dare call yourself “the best mmo community”.

and you know: just because most of current dungeons/paths are easy and bit boring (most 80- ones, jade maw), doesnt mean they couldnt make new ones with more complex mechanics, more challenging.

Yah, because it’s fairly obvious that it’s the rewards that are the most important thing, not stated desires for complex mechanics or challenge.

Put the rewards there and the people will be there also. Put a challenge there and it will be deserted without a big enough carrot.

Challenge is a subjective term. Every of dungeons were a challenge long time ago. But after replaying the same content for almost 3 years we know how to do them. If rewards for AP were better you would see more ppl participating and doing it on daily basis. and with youtube and other forms of guides it is easy to learn the path even now.

Pugs will be pugs, some of them are incapable of taking reflects against elite shamans in cof p1 so yeah… it would be better if some ppl just stay in their champ/world boss trains.

I agree with OP. Watch list should be customizable so I can turn off those annoying e-sport cries and those who like, I dont know, pvp can turn of personal story or living story advertisement.

They are still fixing, all bugs arent fixed yet so I dont understand why this thread. Unless you are compensated for it somehow.

Bugs happen, bugs are being fixed – this is true. However there is nothing to be grateful. It’s their job, they’re getting paid for it. It’s not your family.
