As has been pointed out multiple times: The forums are based on language, not region.
You did not read my post properly. It is not an option. It is not possible without touching core systems. Which will have other consequences. An MMO is a very complex thing.
It is not as simple as having both, it is something that is within the code and the interaction of multiple different elements of the game. So it might look like an easy thing on the outside – under the hood there is a lot of programming magic going on.
So if you need to have a bankspace to protect yourself from – well – yourself, you have to use the “individual guild” route.
All of your answers are in this thread:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/jubilee/Token-Wallet-Thank-you-a-net/
And to answer a few more questions:
I’m more concerned about what happens when you delete every character on your account to get a free server transfer – right now everything in your bank, including deposited gold carries over.
How will the wallet affect this?
Will the gold disappear? You may be able to get around it by using a guild bank.
I don’t know if laurels currently carry over but let’s assume they do.
What about karma since it is being made account wide? What about dungeon tokens?Would like a dev response to this and their reasoning behind any detrimental changes.
If you delete a character before logging in on it once, all the currency on that character will be lost.
Assuming you logged in on each character on your account once after the changes are implemented to apply their currencies to the wallet: The wallet will maintain the currencies that have been acquired on an account, even when you delete every single character on that account.
…..
What about gold that is in our guild banks?
What if I want to mail gold to someone else?
Guild banks do still exist, and you can mail gold to someone else like you do now, the gold is taken out of the wallet.
I’ve seen this nowhere.
It will be an automated change or something you have to acquire?
If it’s something you have to buy, will karma and gold become account bound too for those without the wallet?
I addressed this in this thread already, but:
- It is a free feature that will be applied with the build on August 6. After the build you need to log in with each character to get their things into the wallet.
- So yes, karma and gold will be account bound for all accounts.
If Character #1 have 1000 karma and Character #2 have 10k karma, will I then have a total of 11k karma?
I know the answer should be ‘yes’ but I want to see the response from the Dev.
Thanks.
The Answer is yes.
I’ve finally found a personal game breaker
All my alts are separate, I want them to keep the coins and karma they earn. The other stuff sure but not that. Doesn’t look like there’s any options
I won’t be logging any characters on after the update. Sorry fellas, don’t like raining on parades but I felt I should put it out there
Keep in mind that whenever you log in on an alt, the changes will be applied. This is not just on the day of the patch.
As we have two separate threads with identical questions: Let’s continue the discussion here.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/jubilee/Token-Wallet-Thank-you-a-net/
To answer a few of the questions:
- Pristine Fractal Relics are not included. I am not a designer so I cannot accurately comment on why they are not included.
- At this point the wallet supports core currencies, not seasonal/festival/temporary currencies. At this time we have no plans to add those to the wallet.
- Jugs of Karma will remain an item and can be used as usual. The karma you gain from them will then be stored in the wallet and will be accountwide.
And the gold collecting achievement, is it still possible?
Yes, the “Golden” title can still be acquired, simply by having 200g, since depositing coins into the bank is no longer possible.

Is it a Black lion Trading company Item to purchase? similar to the premium wallet in LOTRO? Even if it is, Im still getting it.
No, it is a free feature.
I’m assuming it’s still possible to withdraw them as items though, because some of those items are needed for Mystic Forge recipes. Or will you be able to load the Forge directly from the wallet?
As I am not a designer I do not know 100% how it works, but the recipes have been modified to work within the new system. I think (take this with a grain of salt) you can spend the tokens on an item that then will be used in the recipe.
Tokens have never been physical objects.
Loving the changes.
Within the world of Tyria they were
Sooo, I’m guessing the currencies at the bottom of your inventory will not show anymore, but you’ll see the collective amount from your wallet. And whenever you go to a vendor, you’ll see the amount straight from your wallet, and you don’t have to ‘withdraw’ to access it.
Does that mean whenever you’re awarded tokens they’ll go straight to your wallet, and you don’t have to sent to your wallet, as the current token/badge right click option suggests.
Yes. After the wallet is in place, the tokens are no longer physical objects, they are handled the same way that gold, karma and laurels are handled. So like you said, it makes it a lot easier to use them at the vendors as you no longer have to go to your bank to withdraw them.
And to answer another question: Pristine Fractal Relics are not part of the wallet.
I have over 200k karma on a character…does that mean i can now use the 200k karma with my other characters? :O
Correct. All currencies in the wallet will be account bound.
Greetings, Matthew Medina has asked me to pass on some explanations/clarifications:
There’s been some confusion and spirited conversation regarding the Candidate Trials, and I’d like to take a minute to clear up some of the concerns that have been raised about this content. There’s a lot I’d like to cover, so I hope you’ll bear with me. ?
Difficulty – From the beginning, we wanted to create an event that would truly test player’s abilities to survive, whether solo or in groups. That’s when we came up with the concept of the [Challenge Event]. We wanted to create an event where it was easy to get bronze participation, moderately challenging to achieve silver, and difficult to get gold, and to provide an escalating difficulty curve by making use of tiers that got progressively harder, and progressively harder again with groups. We knew that this would not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we also know that there are many players who are eager to challenge themselves in this way, and we stand by the decision to include content for those players. We made sure to make the lower tiers as accessible for all players and play styles, and the upper tiers (III and IV) a serious challenge! Now, there’s hard and then there’s impossible. I can assure you that completing Tier IV with a group is absolutely possible, but it’s not in any way easy, or even feasible for an uncoordinated group. It requires the utmost concentration and communication, and so our expectation from the beginning was that only a small number of groups would accept the challenge, and even fewer would succeed. I’ve been impressed by the many different methods players are finding to solo Tier IV (Ii’s a feat even I myself have yet to achieve) but I’m just as eager to see what groups come up with to overcome this challenge!
Rewards – There has been some confusion about the most optimal way to acquire the rewards in this event. We are seeing some players contend that the lowest risk option (staying up near the plunderer spawn points and away from the treasure piles) at the highest tier is the optimal path to acquiring an Aetherized weapon. This is wrong…somewhat. ? Employing this method will get you enough kill credit to earn one or two loot bags, but your chances for getting an Aetherized weapon actually increase with each subsequent loot bag that spawns. So if you really, really want to get your hands on some wicked Aetherblade gear, you actually stand to gain much, much more by taking more risks and defeating as many Aetherblades as possible at the highest tier you can manage. The greater the risk, the greater the reward.
Achievements – There was an initial bug related to how we were tracking player’s progress through the tiers, which did not quite match up with what achievements you had unlocked. We made fixes to that bug, and now player progress for the tiers should be tied to what you’ve unlocked, achievement-wise. There was also an unfortunate bug which was fixed earlier today involving an issue where some of the Aetherblade waves would not spawn. The first bug made the achievements hard to understand, while the second made the achievements easier to attain. I deeply apologize on behalf of our team that these issues led to a less-than-optimal player experience. With these issues fixed, our hope would be that the achievements for the Candidate Trials are clearer and better balanced for their intended difficulty.
I think that covers most of the concerns I’ve read, but the team will continue to monitor feedback on the forums, and if further clarification is needed, rest assured that we will communicate that out to you, our amazing players! Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

He is not banned, he is just not allowed to participate in the tournament. And no, it will not.
By signing up for the tournament, every single player has agreed to the Code of Conduct. The player in question has been in clear violation of it, and has therefore been declared non-eligible for the tournament. Team Denial Esports is still allowed to participate with a replacement filling that roster spot.
Let me be very clear here: Talking about bringing a firearm to an event where hundreds of people will be in attendance is unacceptable. And no, statements like that are not “a joke” or even remotely funny.
If players want to be perceived as “professionals”, they have to be aware that they will be held to standards. When you are the leader of a team, you should lead by example.
The player in question will stay non-eligible for the tournament. We wish all the teams participating the best of luck.
We found an issue with Keg Brawl and had to disable it. We will activate Keg Brawl again once we fixed the existing issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We found an issue with Keg Brawl and disabled it; that is the reason why you are getting into the regular PvP rotation. We will enable Keg Brawl again once we fixed the current issue with it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Here are the digital versions of the campaign posters, so you can print them out or play with them to show your support for the candidate of your choice:

Let me explain how this works.
The firework event cycle (them happening every two hours) was started at 9:00 AM PDT. The event itself is tied to the ingame time and will happen at dawn (ingame). So your fireworks might not have happened yet, as it is not dawn ingame.
Apologies for us not communicating this more clearly. But the fireworks will happen every two hours over the course of the weekend, so plenty of time to marvel at them and get the achievement.
The issue should be fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are aware of issues with WvW on some NA worlds, we are looking into it.

This has been fixed:

We are aware that there are currently a couple of issues with the Karka Queen Meta Event:
- Some worlds are experiencing an issue with unkillable reef rider spawns.
- Some worlds are experiencing an issue with the Meta Event Counter not displaying the proper state of the Meta Event.
- Some players are not getting the achievement for killing the Karka Queen despite getting full credit for the event.
*Some Karka Shells are displaying incorrect text.
We are working on fixing all these issues, thank you for your patience.
The information that Martin provided after the last quarterly earnings call about this topic hasn’t changed.
Our primary focus as a company is making the core game experience as amazing as possible, through new features, content, and the exciting changes and additions to the world through our Living World releases.
I appreciate the discussion, but it basically now has come down to another “I do not like the game” “I do like the game” conversation. As Regina’s statement answers the topic, I will close this thread.
Hey Volkon,
unfortunately we do not have a way to promote events like this in game. What we have done in the past is that we promoted player run events through the forums and our social media channel, and the guild/group of people organising the event spread the word on the world they were running it on.
As others have suggested, creating a forum post about the event is also a good way to get eyeballs on it.
This is not actually a question, but a statement that the OP does not approve of “Stealth”. Therefore I will close it.
There are a few baubles that are very easy to miss. Make sure to take a few moments to look back over an area for missed baubles before you progress to a new checkpoint.
Exiting to Rata Sum or disconnecting from the instance will also not award the achievement when the level is completed.
I just want to drop in to let you know that this initiative makes me feel incredibly proud of the Guild Wars 2 community, you folks rock!
Thanks for clearing that up.
Not liking the models is apparently hate speech. Who knew?
It is not, one of our moderators misinterpreted your post. We will revert the infraction, my apologies.
Those armors are temporary placeholders (that already exist in the game), and the Legendary Store is a fake.
There is no cap at 100 (or anywhere close).
There is an active thread about it:

While I understand that you are upset, your version of this is actually not correct. The account was closed because of fraudulent activities on the credit card associated with that account. If this happens, we close the account and refund all transactions made.
I have been playing since before launch, and still did not get a single abyss dye drop. ^^
You are welcome, glad I could help.
You will find all the update notes in here:

We will leave this thread open, but will keep an eye on it. If it will get derailed or something like the earlier “incident” will take place, we will close it immediately.
We understand that leaderboards are very important to you, but please understand that we also want to make sure they work as intended, because I am very sure incorrectly working leaderboards would not make a highly competitive PvP base happy. We will let you know when they will be going live as soon as we feel comfortable to do so.
So please keep the discussion in this thread civil and on point.
There are plenty of other threads discussing liking/not liking SAB already.
As this was not really a question – i will close this.
Changed thread title by popular demand.
As others have already pointed out, it is mentioned in the patchnotes:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/news/Game-Update-Notes-March-26-2013/
It is a bug that we will be fixing with our next update.
I see the OP found it.
Glad you found your answer.
The Spy vs Spy part in this post has the answer (spoiler alert though!)
