If you in my case, 100% world map, dungeons done, etc… Next step is grind for the good gear or beg for a party for fractals in LA.

Culling is awfull.

But the best solution for me would be no ZERGs, WvW would be much fun if people were spread out arround all the WvW Map, and not only zerged in a area of MASSIVE confusion.

If ANet manages to improve that, no more issues with culling, awfull zergs and perfomance issues in WvW. But by how the WvW was designed it looks impossible.

I’m hoping ANet to be really working hard as they said to patch this game problems and issues the fast as they can. Because somethings are just wrong, and make players to not having fun while playing GW2….

It’s alot of Hopes, but if this game wants to be that sucess for years to come, it needs big changes in some areas. The game is already awesome, and people complain soo much because ANet promissed an revolution! That revolution, didn’t really happened, but I don’t know if they will make it happen in the near future of this MMO.

The Patch notes “lie”, it’s not like they are liers but some of things they said fixed are now with same or new bugs.

But I hope they would start to not break the game systems in a new patch like happened in DEC 3, alot of new bugs introduced there! (sadly)

I would say, this game still as work to do, and alot of work to deserve such prizes.

It is an awesome game already, but when we talk about “longevity” of this MMO… There’s an big fail, since the actual status (especially about Grind) VS what this game promissed it’s an big distance.

An true revolution of MMO style would convert grind into FUN, GW2… didn’t.

In all my gameplay in that map, I did get 1 already (hay!).

It’s Anet again with “we don’t want you to grind”… as the biggest lie ever said and repeated since years ago, till launch when people started to see how the game requires alot of grind at endgame. ^^

I heard about DX11 patch in the game but only in some areas, designers wont work it all again with DX11, and they still want it compatible soo there will be huge limitations in how good the game it’s going to look like.

About that Nvidia Perfomance, I know, it’s awfull, i just updated my drivers and game became with unplayable FPS, then I needed to use old drivers.

Also I wonder because Tera Uses DX11 with better graphics than GW2 (GW2 doesn’t got better graphics, but yes ART and Design), and Tera with me ran much but much better than GW2 sadly, and it uses DX11 far I know.

This one looks “late” it’s still a DX9 game, launched in 2012. Ah do what anyway :P

It would be much better, if we inside an dungeon and everything we get that message of build and SOME MINUTES? Argh.

It would be an Scheduled Alert to give players time to finish what they are doing in time.

It must be an adventure. At this momment it’s an boring, grind “adventure”.

It’s sad, but… The only way to assure everybody would get that chest is reward every1 who was in that map in the time of the event, and I belive then, many, and many fakes would get the chest.

Then… We must live with it.

Isn’t NcSoft who would attend for an complaint like that?

About the actual problems of this game, you wont notice that change at this momment.

ANet promissed big updates for January and February, then I hope by there they will take some action to improve the game and do what they said alot before launch: We don’t want grindy games

Thoose are High End PC Events!

They MUST fix the game first, I don’t understand all this new focus in new content (that also launchs with unplayable issues), over the Bug Fixes… There are general issues that if ANet manages to improve/fix/change them in the right way, game would be much more fun.

About Monthly Updates for me It’s not that important. Really, I would prefer the actual game to be improved monthly, I know that it is already but I supose it need more focus.

The Event did as an Error, that ANet tryied to fix now. And gaved the rewards and everything.

And don’t you think that we that didn’t get DC, did got all exotics and percursors.

I’m sad it would be much easier to change to town cloths, like when we go to an Race City, or LA it should auto-change to our cloths, since we are not in combat. :P

It’s the normal frustations of the game.

But drives me crazy that this MMO’s for we get that we want we must stop having an life and be dedicated to guild wars 2. :X

Marriage is something awesome for RolePlaying and the social side of the game.

The MMO I played we could even got skills and experience in our marriage and it was fun.
Because I want to Marrie an rich gold seller… Just in case :P

As a Guardian i’m pretty limited with ranged weaps. :P

That is a good idea for me, when the Maps Are empty the servers should be dynamic enough for merge servers in that X Map for make it more alive.

But for that, I supose they must change the way it’s working with WvW and make it natural by itself.

I am in the same way, I don’t know if that sense of “been there, done that” is working well in this game, all players like to be unquite and powerfull and to awesome things, but this game balance us all for don’t let that happen, we are all equal, nothing special then. :P

that would be great and tbh, that is what I thought it would be.
I was very disappointed when I had no more Whispers missions and now that my alt is Vigil, I also want the Order part of the story to continue.
I love how the Orders handle things from different perspectives and I love how they interact with the different races.
It would be great if we could get a couple of order missions a month as part of an ongoing personal story.

Yup, ArenaNet said that they wanted to add variety of things to do at the endgame, I guess Orders have that power to fix that issue of the lack of content and help spread players again arround the several maps of Tyria with this idea.

Would be cool if there was an optional quest chain where the reward it an order-specific elite skill.

Maybe every week you get a set of order delivered in the mail where a unique quest or two are setup in different parts of the world that offer varied stuff.

Orders need a lot of love.
They need better equipment to sell, not only that rare equipment, but also special equipment, something like a special karma vendor with the exotic\ascended set, and also, some “order legendary weapon\armor” obtainable after a series of quests, or with some special achievement.

That would be the point, the Orders should help in the way over the Legendaries or other kind of endgame rewards and don’t let it be soo much about grind like it is now.

I’m wondering a bit, Our Orders are without any use at Endgame, it’s like they don’t exist anymore, and only existed for the story mode.

Doesn’t The Orders need some love from the DEVs to expand them to the endgame also?

Things like Quests/Missions from our order for example, for do X things arround all tyria and keep writing our story! I miss quests in this MMO, events don’t replace them and they would help alot to bring players back to the general PVE Maps and add more things to do (as ANet said that was one of their focus at the next months).

Also I see strange things, in the Monthly Events, the Orders take some action in the story, but why not that mini-expansions also expand the story mode? I feel that things I made in monthly events must be written in my story!
Our Order call us for the X event and each order would have an different approach to that Event!

There is so much wasted potential in our Orders. Don’t you agree?

I agree that the Cities itself need work because they became empty and no point to go to them. Mini games may help in that…

Some of the ideas itself are things Anet said it’s working on, as guild halls to dungeons the major race cities of the game. It’s a question of time… not sure how much but time.

Tyria faces constant war. Thousands, millions have been displaced by the dragon’s corruption. Are they starving? Do they need clothes and shelter? Where are the orphans, who is tasked with helping them? There are so many ways to be a Tyrian hero, yet all we can do is separate heads from shoulders.

It’s scary to see High end players as commanders hacked, it looks nobody it’s safe in this game from getting hacked.

The really really sad part is that Anet CAN’T replace the account as it was before getting hacked, that in cases like this it’s a good motive to hate their atitudes.

It’s like a Player is hacked, ANet won’t trace or investigate for find out what happened, where are Logs, it’s frustating.

But we can’t do nothing about it, sadly, it looks ANet also can’t.

Maybe lock our account after X number of incorrect login attempts is a good thing for security.

Alot of MMO’s do it, as social sites, I mean everything, is a way to protect the account and then confirm the owner of the account to go back login again without issues.

Comparing the Prices of Gems to what they give us in the game, it’s asking too much.
And the convert rate will get much worse than it is right now, it’s simple way to players start to buy gems and ANet saying “hey, there is a way to convert gold into gems!” (that became too expensive to most players to get).

I 100% Agree with that Article, but the game itself it’s not social intuivie, players solo alot, and it’s not easy find groups for make X event, Dungeon, etc…

Even with guilds that’s really hard to do, it’s sad.

I’m not used with that Loading Times in a MMO, Lions Arch can take 1 Minute of Loading Sometimes, what frustrates me becuase I already try to avoid to go Lions Arch for save some time.

The most important thing for me that must be worked on and patched is the SOCIAL SIDE of this game.

The game is not social intuitive, it’s hard to to find suitable parties for what we need, map chat is only for spam already…

I mean even the friend list, makes no sense, I never open that and I belive most people don’t use it, it’s not intuitive for us to use, find friends, play with them.

It should be possible notifications, invite friends to do X Event, Dungeon, in a more direct way, I don’t like the only whispers for talk with our friends, I miss alot of them because can’t hear the “beep” most times. :P

The game as alot of potential if the DEVs notice once and for all “hey, we must make this game more social friendly and not only random groups of people at some events”.

I don’t know if it was the patch or the Nvidia Drivers Update.

Guild Wars 2 as a problem with Nvidia Drivers, it’s suposed to be better in the newest versions, but what happens it’s that is worse to unplayable.

Sigh… I will ty go to settings and change that to see if improves. ^^

ArenaNet it’s owned by NcSoft, and NcSoft is owned by Nexon now.

Then NcSoft still have power in their Studio ArenaNet, that’s quite simple.

Not Sure if Nexon gives orders or it is NcSoft that decides what to do with ArenaNet.

And… Don’t we all know the games where NcSoft did huge mistakes that ruined them? (control the studios for make that X more profit thing and ignore the community, resulted in the games that are F2P now, sold, and closed).

Are you using a laptop with IntelHD.. I find it happens when Im using the laptop but its fine on the Desktop.

It was an Intel but it uses the Nvidia one, but never happened, first time is today.

I (sadly) updated my Nvidia Drivers to the 310.70 newest version, and my perfomance in GW2 droped about 40%, can’t even get 20 FPS most times.

No idea why, but what to do now? How can I install the old drivers again?

I printed, after the Dec 3 Patch sometimes, at caves for example the screen get’s black for some seconds….

In this print it happened when getting out of that Fort Trinity Door (where is asura gate).

Our Party once this also happened. It was quite normal, but he just stand there doing nothing. Madness!

GW1 was a game that I played much more before I even got tired for the first time. In GW2 2 months after I rarely enter. Sigh…..

Well it’s same for me. This Thread wont die untill any word of the staff goes on about it. The game is already grindy, if they “nerfed” the loot rates, then this game will be all about fun, getting bored day after day farming and grind for what we Need and want. =/

Orr should be an hard zone. But for now it’s just an place full of mobs that agro us everywherethat are full of HP.

And there’s the balance again: Hard/Fun and Hard/Annoying, i’m afraid the second option is taking place in Orr.
