This game expect you to know everything when you start playing it. It does not help you in most things, and if wasn’t the wiki….

A good example the new events, living story, where everybody is always asking where this, how that. We can’t just get there with what the game says to us to do.

Also who doesn’t see the Patch notes doesn’t know the new things even, no information about that in-game only in the site itself. :P

Well, after saw the last updates of the game, I can’t stop wondering…

If the game is still in BETA?

That comes to my mind mostly because things that are added, are some short of BETA or incomplete, that is the case of ascended rings/access lists and their stats (that is still not complete), achievement system (that is still not complete), and others.

Then I can’t stop asking, why are DEVs launching things this way and don’t wait until they have them complete and ready to go?

I exepcted the mini-games at the launch since they are talked about from a long time before the game was out.

But it looks the game needs alot of work in all of the areas that must be worked on before add more content was thoose mini-games.

I hope DEVS can handle all of this for try to add complete things to the game, and not beta/incomplete ones.

Only paying gems now for transfer. Or you can guest in the server you want.
About gems to transfer you may wait untill the server you want to go is short of medium pop for pay cheaper for transfer.

I hope it’s something better than it was untill now.

Because thoose events are something…. limited. For me Living Story till now was going to that X map, doing a event, and it’s done. And I must say, it was very repetitive.

But Living Story is a good idea… But why not add enough content for all the month? Since there isn’t going to be content for all the month coming after the update, players need more things, variety of things, if ANet really want it to be memorable.

Game needs to be improved in the actual systems itself, no more launch new content without fixing and improving the existing one. Karka update is a good example of wasted work and time of the DEVs in a place that is now… empty.

There is the login server, or friend list, that are global, in that case you would always be connected to an global server that may be hosted in USA, but no the main one.

I would like first some “remake” of some systems of Story Mode, that story mode was very “unloved” by the DEVS in this game, became too simple, with all missions about samething, kill this, kill that…. And I miss cinematics, conversations screens, no match, it takes away immersion.

If DEVs decide do improve story mode, and make it more fun with more “gameplay options”, diferent kinds of missions in story that aren’t always about kill mobs….

Then yes, an Option to replay story mode would be awesome.

What I hate is that for SMALLER guilds, we got alot of trouble trying to scout an HUGE map for find the X Bounty.

I would like more hints in where the X Bounty is.

Also it’s FRUSTRATING: The guild kills the bounty before you get there and no event for you, since sometimes I get stuck in Loading Screens that is where I spend most of my time during bounties.

Nothing improved in Culling, January Patch just messed everything. No culling in WvW but started to happen alot in PVE, what never happened to me.

For me each Patch, when they try to fix this, they make it worse.

It is unplayable. We need some hugeness of Luck to get it without the overflow..

By the way, overflow MUST be another server. The events as the Jormag does not happen in same time in overflows. Also it’s very hard some friends call us to go to Jormag when it’s impossible to get there without overflow, unless we all join overflow and wait for another.

I’m wondering. When we get culling in WvW and even in PVE events, where mobs/players wont load and we are in some short of “invisible fight”…

Is our side problem, or server side problem?

Because not everybody is a victim here, when it happens, not everybody get’s culling in the same Area.

Culling in PVE is a nightmare. Events are now insible MOBS and even Players in a massive lag where all you see is effects and try to AOE everywhere to hit something.

But it’s not that bad, some seconds and it all loads.

Really no idea? How many patch days have you been through! This happens about every highly anticipated patch… This is what happens with a million + people hit a server at the same time and ask for 500mb of data.

And when the server can’t handle it. It all goes Down.

In last patchees also the login server where in big trouble for some hours.

I hate the fact theese missions are upgrades and not a new category of content for guilds.

You will launch expansions where we start at endgame???

I can’t understand. I supose leveling system is useless AT ALL. We all should start as level 80, there is no point anymore, no objective.

I wonder what is expansions all about, new areas? lol, new story? lol.
Without level cap, without any more items type or better items… Future expansions can’t be more than a new story and some new maps.

YOU GUYS must understand that if there is new maps, new items, new things, the market will change anyways, with or without higher level cap.

The changes they said about Champs/Vets:
- HAY, SUPER HAY, MEGA HAY… I will get rewarded for my effort, Champs and Vets are not only guys with more HP and Damage, but also better rewarding (I hope).

Remember when farmers could exploit the game changing servers without any limit and getting Ori in all servers?

I stoped for about 1 month a few time ago I came back. Mainly because it got boring, run out of content to do…

At the momment my days in GW2 are Fractals > Farm > Farm > Grind > Farm > Grind > Farm.

I did everything else there is to do, what’s the point now? Does the game ends here?

Champs should have a 100% Change to Drop Loot. Also do Veterans.

I get frustrated when I kill a champ or vet, and I get nothing. It’s not fair, in normal mobs it’s fine, but in this “Bosses” makes no sense give no loot. I belive players should be rewarded for their effort to do something ^^

GW1 beats GW2 in somethings.

They are both created by ArenaNet so I don’t know why they didn’t take some good things about GW1 and improve then in GW2…

Instead they decided to make some revolution, that worked fine arround the game, but that failed in some areas that need, but really need DEVs to look at them.

First thing that came to my mind: PVP ~~ GW1 beat by far GW2 PVP, it’s soo simple, limited, repetitive… :X

I agree with him in that sentence. GW2 is getting some short of “empty”, when we do cap, dungeons, story, etc… The game doesn’t feel right, it should be more “playable”.

Some short of story quests would be nice, that we can get from NPCs arround the major cities of the game. For instead tell us their stories in Text Windows, send us in a mini-adventure? arround Tyria.

Lion Keys do not worth what they cost. The rewards are awfull for what we need to pay in gems for them.

Anyway in my main char I don’t got by drops or a chest a Lion Key since November 2012.

I’m a WvW Player.I don’t have lag…but something worst started to happen..

After last updates/maintenance my game just freezes when 2 enemy zergs meet.

This have never happened before.

Even in when both 3 Tier 1 EU server fight inside SM lord room i never had this problem..only my skills was delayed but game has never freeze…i could move as i want since my pc specs are above the requirements and i have 100mb/s solid cable Internet.

Something is definitely going terribly wrong after last server maintenance in Wednesday.

In my case since that patch my Game doesn’t Disconnect in WvW or lags. But if I’m in PVE, Dungeons, it’s all about Lag Spikes and Disconnects.

Today is unplayable!

That’s my exact point. When we don’t do nothing, and the game start to have issues from nothing… Well something is wrong. It’s like PC get infected with an Online Virus while disconnected from the Net.

Nevermind. Both PCs are doing it separately now. Like they’re taking turns.

It’s blatantly obvious that something changed on -their- side, and I’m going to be annoyed when invariably someone comes to post to ask me to post a diagnostic that will tell them nothing useful when one of their network guys is likely already aware of and working on the issue. I just wish they’d actually pass THAT on to us.

That’s what they always do, I just can’t get help since january. They ask diags, then they say to change an hugness of things (firewalls, cables, repairs, reinstalls) when we played fine during months without an issue, nothing changed but since that day game decided to have this problems.

And after all of this, if you continue with the Issue they will blame your ISP, and then, you will not get any more than this in support. If I did installed drivers, or updated firewalls/anti-virus, etc.. It was a motive for I check because thoose things can cause this.

How Can’t I Blame ANet’s Side If the problems started after that Patch? I played all day fine, here in GMT the 28th came at night, after the update was the first time that I experienced lag spikes till today (became worse after the 13th patch)… Is it really my fault?

In my case I already talked with my ISP, and there is any issue, is always stable, even in Upload, Download and Pings.

But anyway I will keep posting in forums over and over again, since I’m here because the game just disconnected again with that Error and a Black Screen and i’m pretty annoyed since today it’s happening once per 30min of gameplay.

And Sorry, i’m just frustrated.

Yup that happens to me too. It was all fine before the 28th January, after that it incist in disconnect me or have lag spikes.

Today my count goes in 7 DCs, and ~20 Lag Spikes of some seconds.

Strange is two PCs side by side, and for some reason one started to have that issues, In my case is just 1 pc but that started to give me problems while playing from nothing. I can’t understand if It PC Related, Account Related, Server Related… Something is wrong.

Also, when it gives the “could not connect to server” error it gives me a BLACK screen I must close the Game by the Task Manager.

Halls, Housing, fine for me it’s more social to the game.

That claim things in WvW is sad, there is no way to see if we own it or what we own. O.o

started around feb 15 for me. can’t do peni and shelter events properly. can’t see the monsters until they’re dead or almost dead.

That’s also my issues! The monsters in PVE and people too WONT LOAD. They load in WvW but not in PVE; I avoid now group events because that, I may die easy because takes some seconds to load everything.

Since the January 28th Patch some people, me included having that connection problems and lag spikes ingame.

Untill now the Support just say the samething over and over, NetworDiags everywhere and the solutions presented for the ones where: from nothing the game started to have that same issues, just aren´t working.

Since you just got the game it may be another problem, soo good luck!

I have same issues, since 28th Path and became Worse in this month 13th Patch.

This MUST be server side, play this since headstart never happened, the game just decided since that day to disconnect and have random lag spikes.

Since the 13th Patch became worse what started to happen to me in January:
- Lag Spikes, from nothing game stops for some seconds, delays in skills, chat, etc… And it comes back to normal.

That drives me mad because when in combat when the spike goes away, it’s all fine again.
My connection is fine during thoose times, I can’t understand what’s happening and Support only blame our side and DO NOTHING.

Since January and it became Worse in 13th patch:

- Game disconencts from nothing- Also, it got some lag Spikes from nothing, few seconds come back to normal, this never happened before and my connection is pretty stable when thoose happen.

This is happening at a rate now that me and also my guildies CAN’T ignore.

There are 2 problems to me that became mad after that maintenance:
- In PVE in large groups of people, we don’t see anything, not the players, not the effects, only the mobs, things are taking long in load.
- Game disconencts from nothing, it got some lag Spikes from nothing, few seconds come back to normal, this never happened before and my connection is pretty stable when thoose happen.

I’m not happy at all when the new Updates come and the game becomes even more buggy.

PS: Theese problems exist since January Update, they became much worse in the last patch (day 13 one).

If it isn’t ask too much, stop updating the game, for some of us, when you change it, you change it for worse.

Combos are the mad thing EVER. In some events full of people, and we must call friends or guildies that know how to do them, for do them. :P

It’s awfull, there should be no such thing was kick all party, and disconnect and we all go away? It’s no fair, not at all, and special in theese days that for some reason for me and my guildmates the game is disconnecting more than usual.

Also we should be able to kick people always. But I wonder to not be possible to do that before you kill the LAST boss, for don’t Exploit the chest.

Every time I need to make a pie. Or when I want to craft some dye. Those all need lemons.

If an item is needed for a crafting recipie then it needs to be able to be found in a node.

That is madness, it’s something simple get thoose for we gather and have fun. Fruit Trees and use the same toll as herbs. No idea why they did choose sell them in a NPC

I always saw it as a means by which they could encourage players to actually leave town and explore some of the world they’ve so meticulously crafted. /shrug

It’s also amazing to me just how many peppercorns and walnuts there are but 0 fruit off anything.

The NPC from which you must purchase the fruit already beat you to the trees; hence they have them and the tress do not.

Doesn’t adequately explain why there’s not a single fruit tree in sight one could gather from. well maybe an apple, but we’re supposed to believe that all these people grow are herbs and lettuce to eat in the farms that support the entire human kingdoms of both ebonhawk and Divinity’s Reach. Just a little weird imo.

Guess everyone’s a healthnut eating nothing but lemon/pepper salad and drinking honey milk.

It would be more fun but still an issue is that most of the recipes became useless because they haven’t good buffs, I am wondering if cooking can be expanded to more than thoose stats boosters that we can use only 1 at a time?

It’s not that it’s a problem per se, but it’s depth of gameplay.

What is more fun, harvesting oranges and bananas from trees on tropical coastlines or buying them from karma vendors?

It’s true, I want Trees to harvest thoose fruits, it would be more fun and imersive to the gameplay itself.

It makes not really sense to buy thoose from NPCs.

The game became Grindy because there isn’t much to do at endgame unless grind for better gear.

Then, it’s sad to see that I played other MMO’s for years and didn’t get bored. This one in a few months got me bored…

WHAT’S WRONG? That’s a question ArenaNet should go into for give a future for this game.

An old lady with plenty of botox. The problem in all MMO’s is that everything is young, even it isn’t possible to create old chars.

- I want Fishing in GW2, it would make it more imersive.
- More Social Stuff, there are some huge issues with the social aspect, as for grouping, have a easy connect and easy to play with friends.
- In the Social Side, Housing System, may be guild, but when I don’t want to be killing things I get pretty limited finding some other things to do.
- Notifications and Invites to Friends! For example in WvW or PVP there should be more automated things to alert friends and make easier them to join us, it would expand the social side of the game.
- More sense in endgame gameplay, more objetives behind the grind for new gear.
- A more REWARDING PVE, in lower level maps, some major changes must come there to make a lvl 80 play in a lvl 15 area as it plays in a lvl 70, and be rewarded for it, at this momment the lower level zones are a waste of time in terms of: I would be doing something much better rewarding than this.
- The MINIs should have a fight minigame, something like Pokemon, for make sense collect them, it would be awesome and and good way for ANet profit in the Gem Store.
- Guild Vs Guild / Guild Halls as requested a million times already, guilds must be much more than the “G” key of our keyboard.

And yes, a faster and cheaper way to run to maps and go play with our friends, most people don’t do this at the momment because the waypoints costs.

Maybe there should be ONLY Fruit Trees, some short of big trees, the ones to give Lemons, Oranges, that short of things. Where we would use the Herb tool to get them with a different effect.

I don’t like to buy them, there would have much more sense in gather them like all other things.

I’m really wondering about this.

I’m asking this because for example some Fruits like Lemons and other things must be buyed from NPCs because they aren’t gathered in normal PVE.

So, why not update the Trees or Create some new “fruit trees” in GW2 for be possible to gather fruits, instead of buy them from NPCs?

The, it would be possible add more variety of items to gather in PVE and make the game more imersive.

For some things, yes the game is about that. Other things does have alternatives, I want to see how far this is going with the ascended items coming to the game in later updates.

Anet’s silence about this it talks for itself. I mean they don’t explain what is happening, Loot changed some time ago, I remember before even droping Lion Keys, or exotics… For me it wont drop an exotic in PVE for about 1.5months.

I don’t know if it is suposed to be this way, but it forces us to go grind and farm because there is no other way to get the things we want/need.

Mystic Toilet is a good name for it.
