It’s Mac’s fault. Sorry sorry sorry sorry…. In this case, however, it kinda is. The Mac client is – inherently – unstable. I do think that they are continuously improving it, but it’s a beta client – after all. It will take. A lot of time. If it will ever work. Properly.

Other than that he is actually right in most cases it’s usually the pc of the client which is at fault and not the game. Which should not be surprising considering each god kitten company that produces hardware for a pc does it differently from each other. Hench software needs to be able to communicate to many different kinds of hardware it’s -bound- to cause issues.
All good tho ‘cos it’s usually preventable with patches.

My mac cost more than $2,000 and it never crashed on me, EVER. Except when I play GW2 since HoT. It’s not my laptop’s fault. Anet needs to STOP IGNORING their customers and give a NON-BETA server. That’s it. Instead of making another 64k or w/e client for windows, why not have a NON-BETA mac alongside a NON-BETA windows client? Equality might be a hard stretch, but don’t make it so kitten unequal that some users get multiple clients to choose from while others have none.

As a mac user, yes, please fix crashes. And give us a client that’s not STILL IN BETA SINCE GW2 ORIGINAL RELEASE.

^Yea. I mean, there’s only so much you can try to organize, but then AFKs will pretty much always screw up a map. Unless this gets a fix SOMEHOW, gg VB.

You can’t get either to T4 with all the afk people + others crowding around the raid gate.

Will you even have like enough relics to GET to lvl 100?

New players will have to 1) get ascended gear and 2) get the AR.

The dailies are too easy: 2, 10 + the daily. Then 21, 40 + the daily. And finally 56, 67 and 77.
^ lol THIS. daily. about an hour or so.

My suggestion is the Ascalon fractal. Got 4 spoons in one run ;; no need for them really ;;

But SINCE broken spoons came out, I still ran tons of fractals and got 0 fractal spoons and 0 bone spoons from teq. They really nerfed the droprate for me.

I did not use Dragonhunter. Chronomancer is always useful but guardians can give the group aegis and can heal a decent amount if no druid is present. You need it in lvl 94. Also, guardian breakstuns/shouts are so valuable, especially in random condition levels (ex lvl 64).

It’s true. I make about 5g every day selling those dang boxes. LOL it’s not like I’m going to buy keys. Not worth.

*Easy 94 Fractal – have a druid that heals, a mini-master necro with summons to soak up the damage, 3 others, and the back-and-forth part is cake. Absolutely no thieves.

^You’re expecting to get rings ^.^ In all my dailies since HoT launch I’ve only gotten 4 rings and 1 fractal skin. I usually do 3 50+s, 3 20-50s, and 3 1-20s. That’s doing 9 fractals a day, about the same as pre-HoT launch. I used to get average 1 ring a day + ascended boxes + skins. Now it’s average 1 ring every 3 days and very lucky skin. Soooooo don’t worry about salvaging rings at 1g each LOL.

Yeap. Nerf rewards = buffed rewards. And is supposed to be MORE rewarding. Like HOW?

My #1 complaint is still rewards nerf.

So back to rewards. Please make drop rate BACK TO WHAT IT WAS BEFORE. PLZ. I really don’t see people doing high fractals if the rewards don’t scale.

Um. Yes. Someone made a post about results of 1k encryption opened. As of now, I’m saving up my Cracked Encryptions so I can open them when the fix their dang reward system.

To lvl 96 now. Today finishing to 100. So far no ascended chest drop, only 4 rings, and 1 fractal weapon skin. (so basically 5 drops).

You have to complete lvls 1-20 again for it to count for box Minizero :P So yea, you’re guaranteed the box on the account basically.

I can see the gold/material sinks but uh, this screws over their new players more than their old players like someone else said, therefore creating a bigger gap between the rich and the poor.

Also, I would not mind monthly sub fee to play. They need to un-nerf dungeon rewards + fractal rewards >.>

Literally never had that situation happen. When we found the vendor, he took the hammer away from the rest of our group and gave it to the person talking to vendor :P One glitch that happens very often for me is trying to pick up hammer right after he drops it. That split second will give me the hammer and then make it disappear. Vendor fixed that one tho.

Ya. I’d rather have someone that I can guide through/lead who listens than someone that gets us killed. Besides, how are you going to watch a youtube vid for lvl 80s/90s dredge lvl. Situations can really differ in there and you need coordination/communication.

Shoutout to lvl 64, for giving me new hate towards thieves who can’t survive 2 minutes with boss.

There is a person on the ground floor of cliffside, if you talk with him, he gives you the hammer, so there’s no more hammer-b-gone issues.

Also, after I do through lvl 100, probably not going to do any underwater ones unless it’s daily lol. So far no monsters have gotten stuck

Different infusions. The +5s from fractal merchants are “Versatile” infusions and the ones you bought were crafted from +1s.

Yeap. But leveling through low ones are easy enough, because a lot of people do dailies with them. I think the daily chests give you the pristine relics now, so in about 40 days, you definitely should have enough pristine relics + levels.

The one issue you would run into is AR. But AR’s not much of a problem if you have ascended armor/weapons.

Get pristine relics >>> buy them both with 20 pristine relics each. Easiest way.

But seriously, I’ve gotten 3 rings and 1 fractal skin from doing all dailies since HoT launch. Usually in 2 weeks I get uh … way more. I did get a lot more junk items from them boxes tho!

Necros who are mini-masters are especially useful for cliffside (the back and forth part). Having 2 good necros can get a high lvl cliffside done extremely quickly. Don’t worry about that at all :P

It’s just that at high fractal levels, the boss already takes a long time to kill, and high-level fractal runners are usually experienced, so it’s not surprising that they want experienced people. Who wants to do an hour-long fractal when you can get someone who doesn’t die as often/hits harder and help your group do it in 30 minutes?

Keep in mind that back in the day, when I got lvl 50, I did at least 50×4 fractals = 200 fractals. Now lvl 50 can literally mean someone just did 50 fractals. Huge difference. Yea, high level fractal runners are picky, but when you get up to lvl 59 (cliffside) and lvl 64 (random-conditions) having a new player really sucks. Ressing a thief 20x because he dies whenever boss looks at him sucks. It just sucks.

^Shadow speaks the truth. High lvls has high lvl pains, such as bosses having way too many hitpoints, and if you’re doing it for relics, spamming ez ones like swamp or molten twins over and over is MUCH better than doing 1 high lvl fractal.

And if you do HoT storylines and achievements, you get ascended amulets + accessories. Those can be salvaged

If Anet said they were going to up the percentage but instead lowered it, then they’re straight-up lying to their players.

OMG. I thought saying so would be mean lol, I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but YES. YES. do ANYTHING but thieves. Seriously I get super upset if I see a thief in my high lvl fractal parties. It’s not that they’re bad players, it’s just a terribly nerfed class that’s hard to survive (compared to everyone else) and doesn’t give much to the team.

Any of those are viable ^.^ Really depends on how you want to play :P Action cam helps engis a lot now
