Be glad you can at least get Tequatl down…. on Gandara it is almost always a failure. I still miss turret defender achiev so bye bye for the title which others got during the bugged easy mode period at the revampedTequatl launch.

And 1790 dragonite ore and karma sips are very nice loot too. I would gladly give you my exotics for that DrO.

By the way, I used to get bad loot all the time. Then I quit playing hardcore and play only let’s say 1 day per week. Sometimes less sometimes more. And now I get lots of exotics, lots of rares, I even got ascended weapon chest from Scarlet’s chest in her secret lair.

I really think there is some rested bonus for those who come back to the game after longer period of time.

Claw Island will always have its defensive purpose. Zhaitan was not the only enemy of Tyria.

Tonight, I will finally get to play my beloved GW2. After the whole week of missing my gaming computer and spending my free time on reading the forums, I got hyped for this game almost as much as before beta tests and the launch.
If some of you are tired of little issues like overflows, balance, clipping, precursors, whatever else, then try to give yourself a break and you will find you would gladly forget about these issues if you were able to do some open world events, JPs, dungeons, alt leveling, etc.

BTW anet if you are reading this: why can’t you give us changeable stats on ascended? Think about pros… 1. It makes guild wars 2 more fun – BINGO! nothing matters more!
If you don’t want us to change stats whenever we want and for free after crafting asc. gear, at least make some consumable item which will enable you to reset your stats on asc. gear. You can even bound it into gem store if you make it cheap… like 100gem for 1 consumable which is able to reset all of your currently equipped asc. gear.

For TP/crafting/banking I often use DR. It has much less loading time and WP between crafting station and TP+bank (which is close together) is right up the wall and 95% of time you don’t even get loading screen when you jump between them.

And I am not suggesting there won’t to be new hub in the game, or new LA. I’m just telling you it will be most probably somewhere else. And I think, it makes sense the name of the city will be different.

I won’t be mean to give you a hint of what I know. Let’s just wait for the grand finale.

First two responders, sorry but you still didn’t grasp what living story is about. After the end of each LS arch, there are going to be big changes to the world (not mentioning little changes during the arch).

Everyone with at least a pinch of fantasy can imagine what are those PROBES for…..

And the video showing LA in ruins is connected to Escape from LA patch, not the last one.

It is lost forever. Even ruins will be gone as there is going to be a big cataclysmatic event which will change the landscape of southern shore, or at least LA zone.
Even if LA is rebuilt sometime, it will be moved somewhere else.

There is only a little new story content. Not much to show on the release page. And it is almost the end of the story arch. They don’t want to spoil the LS finale.

Guys, is there some special way how to get Muter achievement? I am pretty sure I was not standing in any of her aoes and we finished the warden 5 event in time, but still i didn’t get it.

Guys you should calm down. They added Scarlet to this map only temporarily. After the LS, there will be just the map. And be sure that you will get another piece of the story in this patch…

Why is it that people feel they have to sit around. Go do a few events, gather some stuff, kill a few things….you know that is playing the game, even if it’s not doing the dungeon you want to do, or sitting in WvW.

Or don’t do the event. That’s how it was designed because it does need a massive amount of people. There’s no easy answer to this problem.

Anet can’t allow infinite numbers of people on a server, because the lag would be too bad to play. Anet COULD make event so that there were no big and interesting ones, but that wouldn’t be good for the game.

Anet could put the game in an instance and most people who didn’t have big guilds wouldn’t bother playing them, as is the case in most games with raids.

So what’s the answer. You bring up a problem but I’m not sure I see a solution to it.

Bro… they just need to provide us with raid UI and an abillity to switch between or create own overflows for commanders, IF main server is full + connecting this with the LFG tool, so people from other servers can join too.

This is the perfect solution.

I am signing for this too.. It breaks the immersion. It cannot be even profitable… come on – 50% chance to drop blue champ bag + 90% of time the exotic bag contain only 2 greens and a few silver.
I can have the same by playing in Orr.

I had the same problem…. then I realised I don’t care for some achievement points. They are mostly grindy-like… what is not an achievement but only a to-do-list

I kind of do not understand why underwater weapons are only underwater…. spear, harpoongun, trident…. they all can be used on land. There would be only different versions of skills.

Guys, I’m really excited. As I finally finished my exam period I will finally come home tomorrow and get to play my beloved game. I just hope this Hype for LS conclusion is really as much great as you say!!! I ’m pretty sure you made some epic cinematic again

You really have potential to be a great game designer. However, GW2 Vanilla is finished for Anet. They will never revisit personal story and change it. We tried to make them change Zhaitan right after the launch, but I think their response was that they are not able to change that and that they learnt their lesson about designing final boss encounters. I am sure that they will do better with 2nd Elder Dragon

1300 hours, every gift done except the one with 100g icy runestones.
When I farm some gold, there is always some update which take it from me (ascended crafting). I stopped caring for it. Precursor building will come in summer or even sooner. And that is the time when I finally craft my Twilight :P (but not only for skin but mainly for the ability to swap stat combinations… as I am guardian, I use GS 95% of time)

Actually, they have a clue, but they keep testing/trying out this new experiment of putting everything into open world so they create one large community on each server. But it just doesn’t work, it never will and they have to realize that numbers of online players farming for AP and waiting for bosses to spawn doesn’t equal to completely satisfied players. Gameplay is almost boring, I play only because of the atmosphere and beautiful graphics… and because I would like to grind out my ascended armor and legendary GS

Agree. Not very wise decision. When your design frustrates players because of something what is not their fault, not even fault of their friends in group, it is a bad decision you made.

I just remembered that I got an opportunity to mount the turret during Tequatl, and it was amazing fun, because I finally had some responsibility, actually pretty big one, and it felt good when we succeeded, however I failed to save some unmounted turret from AOE, so we didn’t get the achievement

It is a shame that there are no instanced raids like in other MMOs. This game has so much potential, yet Anet refuses elitism on this level which is kind of weird… it wouldn’t be hard, nor expensive to create skills for commanders which would allow them to open raid group with UI and open and lock their own overflows.

I dare to say there is much more people who would like to see this, than play easy-join random people with who you have no connection, nor you will make some.
