I think it is because people realised that dyes will be gone soon, and the only way how to get 1 unidentified dye is to buy it with 5 Laurels! Ridiculous…

I too bought 100 unidentified dyes just in case I will want to craft Legend if there will be precursor quest in 2029 or something like that.

I would like to invest in them, but I am not sure if it can yield profit in time, as the colours are account bound and there won’t be any new players in game. So I rather don’t play TP..market is too unpredictable with all those changes ArenaNet is making to the game.

This is exactly the issue. I don’t like paying my precious gold to some lucky Joe. I would rather spend it on some vendor, or whatever… but not to give 1000g!!!! to someone else.
And another problem is that, by the time I will save the last 500g on Dusk, it won’t be 1000 but 1500g((((

You cannot possibly rely on mystic forge. On average it is always better to farm that awful amount of gold …sadly admitted.

Why did you nerf the number of dyes purchasable for 5 laurels at laurel vendor?
Do you think that someone will buy 1 dye per 5 laurels? That is 5 gold. In TP you can buy it for 20 silver…. You just made that vendor only more useless.

Yesterday, when I was doing some champs in Cursed Shore, I stumbled upon a champ at some old arena (for the first time in two years lol) and he was insta-downing everyone except me Having full ascended PTV set allowed me to survive with —-1-— HP left

What does it mean? It cannot be that someone is trying to log into my account as I would receive authorization email, or am I wrong?

There are thousands of events, hundreds of hearts, vistas, PoIs, and more than 30 jumping puzzles. Every event has some back story, many of the NPCs have voice acting. Dungeons has story and explorable modes with voice-acted dialogues….. PvP now give players levels, money and PVE reward – WvW always worked that way…

Why would you whine about not be able to farm karma, or CoE? The game for new players is about something else. It is a completely new experience. No other mmorpg is like GW2.

I think Arenanet developers don’t play other games, or even don’t play their game….or they are on some drugs which makes them think everything is just rainbow and flowers, otherwise they would see how badly they damaged the game by megaserver feature…

That’s the only thing that is fun now.

For some security reasons they turned it off. It was just easier for them to create current launcher and let you in game straight from it.
However, I want the old one, too. I already made like 2 topics about it.

I was actually swearing on every noob who was killing the mobs. I just stood in the circle couple of seconds.. that’s why I got the medal….
99 percent of players listened to commander, stopped fighting and went outside of the circle… but there were 2 guys who just didn’t care, because …whatever probably
BUT, there were people who were saying that they got the trait from the event… so probably trolls

I got gold medal, didn’t get the trait.
Some players got it, some don’t
There was even one player who told me he didn’t get the trait even after he purchased it.

So, what does this all mean?

You have to limit the number of players for each zone.
Only Tequatl and Wurm need 150 ppl. The rest of the zones are fine with ~70

The best survivability is the highest damage in dungeons. Personally, i made few changes on my zerk builds and i can tell you there is no point to look for a condition or “support” build into a speedrun party. With this patch, the only thing happened is you should ping your gear more often into the party chat before you start the run. None of the serious players want a non zerker or condition build in their party, since they are good sure as every class, but there are MUCH MORE better choices.

I can’t believe what I’ve just read…. this kind of thinking is a plague of this game.

I don’t understand this… bosses like Behemoth and Jungle Wurm were supposed to be an introduction of bosses to new players. This way, they won’t be able to kill them and will have to wait for some specific time when a big zerg joins the zone (yes, i know about megaserver but still…)

I always hated these trains which burn down champion sooner than he is able to hit someone…. trains took all the challenge associated with killing the champs

After two years of GW2 (if you count beta) you, Arenanet, still only experiment with the wildest ideas you have. Your feature pack is great, I enjoy them, but you didn’t thought through the decision about changing the bosses.

If only you allowed guild leaders to create their own zone instances for bosses, everything would be just fine.

forget it…. it won’t happen. I already started to save gold and plan to buy Dusk in a year or so….

I think precursors will go down after some time…as with every item which spiked so rapidly. If not, I made a great mistake when I crafted the gift of Twilight

Congratz Valandil. I saw your posts before and could see you were as frustrated as me with the way how precursors can be obtained. Maybe I will try my luck too and throw there some dungeon greatswords… At this rate, I will never be able to save enough money for Dusk anyway (all other gifts done)

When Anet’s dev dropped this statement I stopped believing they will ever release it. So, as I have all the other gifts done, I started to farm gold through dungeons. When I started, I needed ~820g for Dusk.Two or so weeks later I have 110g and Dusk costs 920g.

GG, anet. This really encourages me to play.

I actually gotten a big urge to play GW1 again. However, I would like to play something what would add up to my 31 points (maybe to obtain the title on 35?) And so I need some fellows to play with me.
The only problem for me is, that I have very little time due to my final year at the university.

I don’t recommend you to play on a laptop. I fried my laptop because I played GW2 without a cooling pad for like 30 minutes. This game warms up computers too much.

If you really want a laptop, I suggest you to never ever play GW2 without a cooling pad. Or even taking your laptop to bed or dusty places. Remember that you should give it to service for cleaning at least once per 6 months. After you lose your guarantee, you can clean it yourself, it’s not that hard to open it and asseble it back.

edit: I used Zalman ZM-NC3000. It did a perfect job (when I used it) and it is even ultra silent.

so I was thinking that I would finally like to finish my meta on Tequatl. The only achiev I need is the turret defender one.

Is there some good guild which don’t have problems with managing Tequatl and keeping all the turrets alive? I tried it a few times, but it seemed I was the only one who was protecting the turrets from aoe poison and that’s not enough.

There are six types of magic. The mixing of professions is not convenient as it is really hard to master even one type of magic. If someone, for example, pursued death magic and elemental magic, he would end up pretty lame in both. This is the official explanation I think, but it still doesn’t explain why there were mixed professions in GW1 (even though I mixed my necro with monk, I don’t think I actually used some of his magic..mostly because skills from EOTN reputation were far better.)
