Don’t forget that whatever the weapon will be, it won’t be possible to use it with longbow on swap. (I’m just saying.) I love the idea of axe, melee polearm, double torch and even double shield or what about main focus for ultra support skills?

I would actually loved if something was nerfed on Slothasor… though we easily beat Wing1, we just can’t get through this boss, ever. It is just too messy. but that is just my personal opinion, I’m not talking on behalf of my guild

play with condition engi with stealth gyro, gang enemies, steal points. If you are good and if the engi is good, you will easily win 2v2 in a matter of seconds. 2v1 against anything is insta kill.

Agreed, after almost 4 years of playing I created my first ever ranger, maxed her out on druid, put viper gear on her with the exception of 4 trinkets that are sinister (viper ones from raids are a work in progress) and I am having amazing fun. Very decent damage, mobs in open world just burn in a second. However, full viper means you are pretty squishy so you have to be mindful of your movements and dodges.

ArenaNet’s decision to balance around PVP and not to use the tools they have – different balance between game modes – is pretty much ignorant and dumb. Raids were already hard as they were, now they are even harder. Using traited skills in PVE is not fun at all.

My examples:
DH’s traps do 0,5 sec daze….like really???? One second is already low enough for PVE. Dragon’s Maw has 60 seconds cooldown – the sweetspot was the cooldown present at the lauch (around 45 sec). Feel My Wrath has also too long CD for PVE combat, not mentioning other skills. Elite skill shouldn’t mean you use it once in 2-3 minutes, but rather something that you use and the mobs are like: “oh, kitten!! ruun” :P
Meanwhile, half of guardians skills *cough*spiritweapons*cough* are next to useless.

Revenant: ah, so where to start here? hmm… okay:
Shiro nerfed to oblivion for no reason. Damage output is kittenty as ever
Mallyx condi damage low
Dwarf – not too bad, but those circling hammers are bugged – they disappear if they hit some wall like the pillar at VG fight
Glint – this healing skills is the weakest I’ve ever seen. Almost no regen and no heal if used…it is an utter garbage. Elite skill has cast too slow for something that does so low CC and is so easily dodgeable even by mobs. Plus, the energy costs are too high
Ventari – this just doesn’t wark at all…. clunky movement of the ventari tablet, costs of skills too high
Overall damage output – so small you are basically just a boon bot on glint. You can’t use Ventari because you would do even less damage, you can’t be condi DPS because it is just too weak.
(btw, please fix sword damage already, and remove swap button on underwater weapon)

I already have this but if you need help, I might be helpful – EU. Also, I suggest checking out videos on this achiev on youtube, so you are prepared for the boss rotations. The difficulty is kind of like a raid prequel

What are you talking about? Viper is cheap. Just craft any vanilla ascended and then reforge it into viper with exotic insignias. Sinister trinkets are OK. You should get viper amulet from doing Chapter 4 HoT achievs. The rest of the trinkets can be bought for raid tokens.

I h8 story, so that just seems like a waste or basic thing in the game, which is the very last thing i usually do only when i am bored. Guild halls are a mess: only if your guild leader deems you worthy and you are able to place objects, exploring can be kinda fun, but the limitation of 1000 objects sucks, not to mention the gold sink that is scribbing. If you’re not rich you shouldn’t be a scribe. This isn’t sand boxy craft furniture for your own house/nook its for the guild, but good luck on getting many of them to donate u mats but them expecting you to craft stuff for free. Did i say a mess? Raids are for a select niche few, if you enjoy it do it, if you only have 2 hours u can play good luck find a party, best bet find a raiding guild that raids during the hours you play, basically good luck with that. New fractal masteries… not that impressive. Legendary back pack only 6 months late. Yeah and xpac been out for 6 months and Living world 3 still aint live…. uhhhg. I see a lot wrong here.

Well, yeah. You are definitely entitled to have your opinion. I’m sorry you didn’t like HoT. Maybe there will some content more aimed at you in the future. I agree that it is hard to hop on the raids. I had very big problem finding a like-minded group of people, but thankfully I managed to do so. And while we weren’t able to kill even the first boss of wing 2, it is still nice to play with them and kill at least the old bosses. I guess it is just a matter of how much time you have and how much energy you are willing to put into searching for GW2 friends.

Yes, I also don’t understand why we don’t get cap per boss which would be filled up by killing the boss once. It only makes sense. Out of 14 bosses I killed, I got only one ascended heavy viper leggins (for which there is no use currently) and 3 minis. My friends always get those unique ascended thingies and can save up their shards for the future

Well, the basic logic why gold conversion is not P2W is that there is also gem conversion and both markets influence each other. However, infinite tool give extra items out of nothing, which is bad because not everybody has them. For example, imagine not all owners of GW2 would get 2 gold for doing daily, but only those who bought such upgrade on gemstore. That would be pay to win.

Make all the infinite tools give you extra material (normal ones, not like watchwork sprockets):
—> many players will feel like they are now obliged to buy those tools = negative feeling.
—> other players will refuse to buy it because its price, or even because they will consider it a breach of trust about ANet’s P2W standpoint = negative feeling.

—> Many players already have these tools, there will be many more = prices will definitely change. All the crafted items will get cheaper than they are supposed to be = problem for GW2’s economist, possible changes to crafting recipes.

In conclusion, no, these tools cannot give you anything extra.

Though I wouldn’t buy it, I see this as an excellent suggestion. It would make many people happy. However, if they were to add it, the price would have to be very high. Something like 2000 gems for 1 character, or 5000 gems for the whole account.

New fractals are in development. We should see at least one new this year. Hopefully….

Stay Cool achievement from Twilight Arbor Aetherpath is bugged. I didn’t touch fire, I didn’t have mini nor pet. My guild mates did the escort event, I stayed behind and only put wall of reflection near the lava ooze. I didn’t get the achievement after the completion.

PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT +70 stat why can’t you understand it? You are hardcore WvWer? Well then have another set of gear with +70 stat. Otherwise USELESS, even in raids.

It’s not huge bonus, it is minimal bonus unless you want to spend 700g (after which it is little bit bigger, but still minimal). You can have another batch of trinkets with WvW +5 infusions (the cheapest ones) if you like. You have to understand that the stat different is little, infusions were made for agony resistance in the first place.

We are talking about +70 stats (14 pieces of gear each with +5 stat)

It got ignored because it doesn’t make much sense. Fractals, as any other content require power DPS or condi DPS builds. If you put infusions onto your gear, you can always extract them back for 24 silver per one piece of gear. However, there is almost zero reason to change them. It only makes sense if you are into maxing out stats, but all the content can be easily beating without it. +5 Power infusions can be put just on weapon, 2 rings, 1 earring, amulet, backpack. If you want to put +5 power on armor or the other earring, you need to spend like 100 gold per one +5power versatile infusion – that is 700 gold for 35 power….. Go figure.

No, you won’t. Expansion has nothing to do with what version of base game you bought years ago. If you want HOT deluxe stuff or those gems in Ultimate version, you have to buy that package.

Of course you will never lose your ultimate stuff from basic game. Nobody is going to steal your Rytlock figurine, don’t worry.

The majority of players don’t even come on the forums. If you want to see how popular it is, try LFG few minutes before new map is about to start. DS is very popular!

They said they are not developing easy mode for raids. What I think is that they will ship LFG tool 2.0 and some tools to learn raiding easier.

Ruby division made me not play PVP. I wonder how many others see it the same as me. Why can’t we have checkpoints at tiers up until Legend? It would be much more fun. Now it is just losing and losing and losing and never achieving the goal.

I lost interest in PVP because of ruby division – because of the fact that tiers are not checkpoints anymore. There is no way I will get to Diamond now, thus, there is no way I will continue PVP. It is sad, but that how it works for me and thousands of others too for sure.

Hi guys, check my screenshots. I have found this hidden item in W2Z2. It however requires skill that is probably acquired in World 3 or 4 (so non-existent).

Guardian tank for VG is the safest bet. Don’t believe people saying you just need to swap one toughness trinket. It is good just for elitist speed clearers. In our guild, our tank is always guardian with over 2200 toughness. It makes it easier to move boss on next platform in time before next green AoE.

For gorseval the tank should be engineer since he can solo CC him. Guardian is always good with hammer for extra protection and GS and feel my wrath for burn phases. GS skill 5 and F1 pull for clearing minions before gliding phase. For sabetha you need to just spam hammer 1.
We didn’t try wing 2 yet, but I guess condi remover and secondary projectile reflector would be your role for Slothasor.

I’m saving up for Black Desert Online and a new PC. Many of my guildies went to play that. I also want to play games that I’m going to miss out if I don’t upgrade (Mass Effect 4!!).

The price of new xpack will be 50€/$. You can say 20/30 in this topic, but it means nothing to Anet and it is pretty unrealistic. I think the main reason for so little content is that everything is hand-crafted , no procedural creation. The second reason is outdated engine – every time they add something to the game, some parts get broken.

Since GW2 will always be in my heart but there are so many other games too, I will rather wait and buy new xpack when it is on discount.

I logged in, I turned on my team speak client, I said hi to my guild mates, we went in, we killed 3 bosses and Gorseval twice in like 2 hours, we said good night, and went off.

Raids are for organised people, for guilds, for friends. Raids are not for LFG. I found out about it the hard way. I was on the verge of totally quiting. Then I joined a guild and found out how it is.

I would rather have 3x basic salvage kit and 160 inventory slots, rather than 100 slots and one infinite salvage kit.

Ehm, all of these suggestions are kind of bad. As a new player you need to unlock 3 inventory slots on your main character and at least 2 more bank slots (for starters). Infinite salvaging tool is actually very useless. You can easily play without it. But if you have nowhere to store your items, that might be a problem

Does anyone know how is it possible that Kaiser skins are already on TP? Aren’t they available only from doing dailes for 8 days? Do they drop from end chests or what?

I really love SAB and I am glad that you were able to bring it back.
I would just like to get a little clarification on the future of SAB.
Is there a possibility that we will ever get world 3 and world 4? For example, after the threat of elder dragons is resolved?

I completely understand, and agree, that now it would be illogical to order some devs to create world 3 now, but I think that in a long run, it would be a shame not to finish this game.

I wonder how I can kill 1v1 good condi duelist mesmer on my power shiro revenant…. there is just no way I can kill them. That kittening confusion is impossible to remove since he gives me like 6 other conditions before that.

Do you know what is hell? You lose 20 arenas, so you group up with people who you know are good (just casual group without TS). You start winning. You win a few matches. And then bam…. you get teamed against a guild team with masochistic team composition and voice-over program…..try to fight that.

In the end, now in the ruby division, I am pushed to get into some PVP guild and play only like that. But there is no way I will do it. So I always just log in to lose 3 matches for daily and then I go PVE.

There is literally no fun in playing PVP anymore.
