alternatively if your servers happen to have the same color, you can go and play in edge of the mists together on the same map, on the same side.
I agree EotM is a great map, and regardless of Anets intentions of how it was suppose to be used/utilized players will always find the path of least resistance to rewards, I really don’t think anyone at Anet thought EotM would turn out to be what it has become or that their intent was for the map to be a 24/7 karma-train but it happens in all areas be it mob or champ farming in PvE players are gonna find the path of least resistance to easy rewards.
I’ll also say that what happens in EotM is in a lot of cases dependent on the commander at the moment, I’ve been playing EotM waiting for the new season to start and we have had some great battles, some commanders look for fights and others avoid them, some commanders even ask what the zerg wants to do be it k-train, defend, or battle….when you’re leading sheep sometimes you have to give them the direction they need to follow.
EotM has a ton of potential for a whole lot more than 24/7 K-Train but if that’s how the players devour the content that’s all it will ever be.
I agree, some commanders I’ve followed actually do all 3. They would ktrain the majority of the time, then take detours to wpe out enemy zergs. Either ambushing them as they try to attack one of ours, or using them to break down the third group’s doors/walls before we swoop in, kill them, kill champ then cap. Ktrain is very nice for leveling, but switching priorities from time to time makes it more fun.
I am primarily a PvE player and I would vote no. There’s a reason why world map completion is meant to require effort. Enforced peace in a large scale PvP environment is kinda counter productive.
Now if your suggestion was to make sure that each server’s color rotates every matchup, that I can support. I do get tired of seeing the same color most of the time
instead of complaining about “night crews” and such, why don’t you just try and attract an international guild/alliance instead?
wow, DR and Kaineng is so obvious, I can pick it out without even looking at the file names
These issues don’t seem to happen with other games. I beta tested and played SWTOR and never had the kind of problems i have had with this game. 6 years of development and this is what we get……
isn’t that more because nobody wanted to use it? since it was really really bad? SWTOR did not have this very specific problem true, but it had a lot of other problems unique to it.
@JON you say almost nothing is flooded while 90% of the items sell for 1 copper above the vendor price? was just an idea guys but i was wrong :/
that’s a result of seller stupidity and the fact that people don’t yet know how much something should reasonably go for. Also of note is that a lot of people simply sell stuff on the TP to clear their bags, they don’t care that they’re making a loss.
“A. the greets (spoken by an NPC when someone interacts with them)
B. the random talk lines (these are usually just a single line spoken by a nearby NPC on their own, unrelated to player activity)
C. Idle Scenes (spoken by two or more NPC’s, conversing back and forth)
D. All of the above”
A. I am personally fine with, but there might be some value making these only audible to the player talking to them
B. The ones in areas where players are likely to stand still for long periods of time needs to be made less frequent e.g. near crafting stations, banks etc. All others I feel needs to be made MORE frequent, but only if the NPC has multiple lines. If the NPC only has a single audible line, it should be made relatively infrequent.
C. These should be made more frequent IMO. It adds to the atmosphere, anybody who hates hearing them speak really needs to get out more, people talk all the time. It would be weird if you’re walking through a market and absolutely nobody is talking except when you approach them.
And I think you’re missing one thing: “NPCs who talk when players pass by them”. For example, the guy in Hoelbrak who gives out warnings to people about the Sons of Svanir. If three people pass by him not at the exact same time, but within seconds of each other, he will speak 3 times. I feel that if a player is within a certain distance from him(and other similar NPCs) when he first starts his line, he shouldn’t count them again when they get closer.
^ you can make wooden swords, copper swords etc without fine materials, those are useful to some people
My level 36 spent some time in Caledon Forest and got loot ranging from no lvl requirement, up to lvl 29 loot. You may just be unlucky(or lucky, since I personally want to get more higher level loot :p )

Yes, absolutely, any folder that the email may have gone to accidentally was searched, but nothing thus far has been sent.
I completed the purchase yesterday on my mobile phone, and didn’t see a pop-up with a key on it at all.
could be something to do with the fact that you did it through mobile

Based on my personal experience, if you purchased the DDE from the website, the key should pop up on your screen and straight away populate the form. You will then get an email that also contains the key. I purchased mine a long time ago when the servers weren’t swamped and got mine with I would 15 minutes. Have you checked your spam/junk folders?
After wanting to know if we wait 5 days to get a response, I was told I was wrong, and that it takes 5 days for them to examine your case and exact a judgement.
GaileGray:
“The five days allows for review and resolution, it does not mean that at five days the tickets is viewed for the first time!”
Thank you, that was all I wanted to hear. I will be back in 4 days time to play.
5 days sounds like their SLA. So you may hear back before the 5 days is up assuming your ticket is straight forward

did you report that as a bug in-game? That really sounds more like something the devs should look at, not the CS staff.

Another ban by mistake. This is the most ban happy MMO I have ever seen in my life. I wouldnt mind other than the fact that they are banning to many poeple myself incldued by mistake.
The majority of bans so far have either been:
1. Well deserved
2. A ban on a compromised account to prevent the hacker from further exploiting the accountI have seen very very few cases of accidental/unwarranted ban.
Then you should open your eyes mate.
and you need to stop believing every random person on the net. It’s been proven time and time again with this game and other games, that people can and will lie through their teeth to make themselves look more sympathetic when they don’t deserve it. I’m not saying nobody was unjustly banned, some people likely were, but the number is not huge by any means.
And in your specific case, I don’t know whether or not your ban was warranted. IF you’re telling the truth, then it wasn’t, but throwing insults around the forum will make whoever is assigned to your ticket less enthusiastic about helping you. I’ve worked support before, despite many companies’ code of conduct, people are people and we are always more willing to go out of our way to help nice/polite people than people we see as annoying. I’ve seen many people in support(myself included) work overtime for no pay to help a particularly nice person who was having a problem just as often as I’ve seen people leave a ticket until the next day, or leaving it until the SLA absolutely demands that they deal with it simply because the person who raised the ticket was being incredibly insulting with their comments.

it should be in your mail. Check all your characters? Also did you create several characters and then delete them without checking mail?
[quote:]redacted[/quote]
that’s because they need time to actually look into your problem…

… I end up having to do them a couple times just to level. in short, this games turns out to be exactly like every other MMO where the things I do in the world dont matter at all because 2 minutes later the centaurs will be attacking again…
If you only stay in one small part of the map of course you’re going to see the same events happen again… why not try exploring a bit. I have rarely ever had to repeat an event (except across multiple characters). The only event I actually repeated on the same character multiple times was the firefly/mosquito one in Caledon Forest. And it was separated by real life days.
The centaurs want to take over certain areas, so obviously when they lose, they will gather up their forces and try again. I mean one of the centaur chains was even used as an example multiple times in interviews/videos, about how you can push them back to their base, but they will eventually build up their forces and attack again.
If you are chatting privately with a player and that player reports you, and you are found to be in violation of the Rules of Conduct, then that investigation and the results will take place in accordance with our policies.
So in the example given of someone having a private discussion with their girlfriend: if their girlfriend reports them to Customer Support, then yes—there would be consequences if the person is found to be in breach of the Rules of Conduct.
The same applies to guild chat. If you’re talking in your guild and a guild member reports you, there would be consequences if you’re found to be in breach of the Rules of Conduct.
So, in order to get suspended for using any sort of profanity in Guild Chat, Party Chat or Whisper – someone else in that Guild Chat, Party Chat or Whisper would have to report you? There is absolutely no automated monitoring system for those chat channels?
I ask because my guildmate just spent 9 days being banned for a completely unknown reason (never got ANY insight as to why) but the only possible reason (aside from a 100% glitch) is that he said something wrong in Guild Chat. However, him and I are the only 2 members of the guild and I certainly didn’t report him. So his account was banned for 9 days for either No Reason or because there is an automated monitor in the Guild Chat.
considering what they did with other people, if you get him to post here and ask why he’s banned, I’m sure they will explain
