I would take a detarget all day. Honestly it should maybe be a death shroud trait. Trait for some sort of stealth I mean it is called a shroud and with the way necromancer are in gw2 it’s not unreasonable.

I’m pretty sure even with the dumb minion ai I could still control them long enough to stay out of the giant red circles for 5 seconds. But if they do die I’m not totally helpless, my utilitys are on cool down but more than likely so are yours. The only real problems I ever have with minion build is perm stealth theives, but usually I can down them as well since minions keep attacking and I will win the downed state battle.

But still a passive aoe blind? Cmon.

If I want to take a golem for a nice evening drive than God kitten ed it I will.

I like the mark of evasion thing, considering we don’t really have vigor it makes sense.

Aoe passive blind is a little crazy even if it’s only a second, couple with our other blinding skills and blasting dark fields… that’s a ton of blinding.

Yeah wells are so awesome in pvp people just stand right in then because they are so hard to notice and are so big and tick so fast…. they are pretty much op should probably be nerfed.

I’ve been having a lot of success with this version of an mm especially effective on mid but you can hold home with it.

I am not on EU. And according to the wvw discussion boards that automatically makes me kittenty so I suppose I’m wrong and wells are indeed more effective than all of our other utilities in 1v1 situations.

In my experience tpvp and 1v1s are not the same, yes wells can be useful at holding points but in a 1v1 duel I am still quite confident there are much better options for a 1v1 fight. If it’s tpvp or wvw or pve wells are great to fine. I must have misread somewhere about 1v1s.

I can’t think of any 1v1 I could possible have where either me standing still is a good idea let alone a situation not on a point where I can get someone else to stand still long enough to make any of the Wells worth it. If someone had a video of doing it against someone who isn’t a complete moron I’d be really interested

Wells blow for 1v1 encounters unless they are complete morons. I prefer dagger dagger for 1v1s over the focus, you could go dagger dagger axe focus for a good 1v1 setup with those traits. But drop the Wells and wall.

Might is power, corrupt boon and spectral armor are what I would use for utilities. Flesh golem for elite, you could go lich but if they corrupt your stability or just run away for the duration you will be in trouble. In a 1v1 duel they should let you have 30% lf to start. Would help if you said what weapons you are using.

Maybe that could be the Tele we want, give it a 900 range make it a stun break and we get to pick where we pop back up.

If he’s emerging in the same spot he is still just as dead.

I guess my point is it is bullkitten that the other classes get those and the best we could possible ask for is a few seconds of being a kittening statue.

I Think Almost Every Other Class Has a skill that let’s them be invulnerable, move normally, and attack normally but that would just be way too op for a necro……

You couldn’t even fight your own battle zergling, you don’t get to talk. Most meaning since 1998 so even if this game goes for another 10 years most of my exp will still be UO.

Honestly I haven’t developed an ego in guild wars 2 yet and probably wont, most of my experience comes from Ultima Online pvp and maybe ping makes more of a difference there so you may be right. And I don’t know much about the EP guild either or the EU guilds. All I’m saying is making a blanket statement about all of NA with the sample sizes we currently have is crazy. If EU guilds come here and still dominate than I would be dead wrong and if it’s already happened then please excuse my ignorance.

Well we already determined he doesn’t win 90% of his games and we’ve also already determined he doesn’t have 100s of tpvp games either let alone weekly. I honestly can’t tell if he’s just trolling or believes what he’s saying… if he’s a troll then he’s pretty kittening good at it.

Oh I see we are supposed to just accept EU players are better for fact without questioning connections they just must all be better just because they are from EU thanks for clearing that up, I wish I had been born in France where the tanks have reverse lights then I could be good at gw2.

I just started playing a clerics build mm with the two healing sigil on each weapon and it still seems to be pretty effective as a point holder usually home or mid.

Curios about the EU NA thing, I’ve played a bunch of pvp mmos and it always seems the same EU always claims to be better and usually it’s because they are able to play NA servers and compete and are still usually just as fast while when we go over there we move lIke snails. I was always under the impression the reason for that is they have higher speed connections available to them… most of this is from playing Ultima Online for years.

I think you want to hit like 40% crit chance, once you do start adding in carrion or dire.

You can do pretty well in soloq with the standard dhuum terror build, nothings better than making someone run at a wall for 6 seconds.

5s of aoe fear would be enough to make it op on a terror build
