I do use it sometimes though. It is even more hilarious solo roaming with in in perplexity runes. I can pour water in a shoe and drink from it so I guess that works am I right?

Nemesis build is a pve build that you recommended to someone looking for a hybrid build for pvp. I just don’t like when people give new players untested builds and try to say they are awesome. It’s my guess op was looki NH for proven builds that work in high level pvp. I made a signet necro for trolling and it “worked” doesn’t mean it’s a good build.

Try the 6/4/0/0/4 dhuum terror build with rampagers nightmare runes scepter dagger staff bleed sigils and energy or don’t bother with the energy and put more bleed ones on use at least plague signet and corrupt boon as utils elite and other utilit is up to you but I like spectral wall, consume conditions as your heal. You are kind of glassy and might struggle a but with life force generation if you don’t use your scepter 3 well. If played well you can be extreme dangerous.

Well there are also builds that excel at both 1v1 and group fights.

So I’m confused, you basically go far on a build with low mobility? Mid usually has the most action so I’m guessing you stay away from that, you could stay home but usually you want something bunker ish to do that in case it gets zerged…. I guess I’m just having a hard time seeing this build effective in tpvp, sure it’s good for nuking someone 1v1 unless they have stuns. But then aren’t they’re classes that are better than us at dropping a bunch of damage on 1 player and those same classes are able to disengage and move from point to point much faster than we are able to. Your build is pretty much a necro power dueling build.

Just a quick warning it’s going to feel extremely clunky and slow switching to the necro, your going to spend a lot more time just pressing 1 than you did on d/D ele where you pretty much only did that with lightning whip.

More constructive? How about don’t be a kitten and try fighting outnumbered, our guild actively looks for the maguuma and sos blobs. We don’t just run away we try to fight them with whatever we have 10-20. Hit disengage, rinse and repeat and somehow I manage to do this on a POWER necro.

Well one of those is hybrid, and one of those is a condi. I really enjoy the rampagers set with the dhuum terror build the dmg of lifeblast with the the burning on it is quite impressive. The beauty of using that build is your condi duration goes along with your power so your able to keep fearing opponents as a defensive and offense mechanism.

The only reason I said something about no stunbreaker is because currently if your not just playing hotjoins we necros tend to get focused. Without a stun break your dodging is going to have to be absolutely perfect. And even then someone is going to get you with a stun then you basically have to sit there and take it….. kitten that.

Other classes are able to pop stability and stomp….. would not be overpowered for us to stomp in plague.

Sw can help alot I used to use it on my dhuum terrormancer I’ve switched to plague signet though it’s just too good to not use it honestly it’s like a crutch for me now.

I’ve been playing mm cleric build on mid with a turret engi good luck taking it, your going to need the whole team to do it.

Rabid terrormancer should be able to beat almost anything in a 1v1 situation what utils are you running. Also when he is in zerkers stance just kite and keep putting condis on him once he’s out hit him with your scepter 3 go into ds and I use dhuum fire so I usually hit 5 3 1 then go back to hitting him wi th condis

If we are using this logic, warriors shouldn’t be allowed to use hammer, no more medi gaurds, no more spirit rangers, no more turret engis, no more mesmer clones, no more fresh air eles, no more backstabbing theives.

Well luke what one gets nerfed first…. if they do anything you know kitten ed well it will be ours even though we have to trait to make fear do damage, do warriors have to trait to stun lock us while regening 400 hp per second?

As an MM if you wanted to trait for stability and condi removal you are perfectly capable of doing so. However you don’t need stability, but I always use fetid consumption on my MM and staff 4.

When I first started playing this game I would have agreed with you. But now with a little more experience I have realized there are reasons why some kitten works and why some kitten doesn’t and I’m probably not going to be to the first one to figure it out. So I will continue to stand on the shoulders of those before me.

Also he’s playing hot joins earlier in this thread I me it clear I could make it “work” I started running a signet necro and still managed to kill people so it " works" right?

I apologize for not being foolish enough to play the game at a low level and one day I get a couple kills and decide that this build must be good. I’m not good enough yet to put myself out there and try and say my unique build is good enough to be used at the highest levels of pvp, I also do not wish to influence some poor new player by feeding them kitten information and passing it off as knowledge when in fact this could hinder and cause frustration. If I am saying something isn’t very effective, it in no way means you can’t use it effectively merely that there are better alternatives as proven by more experienced players.

If you’ve beaten a hambow warrior with that build than it was a really really bad player.

Minions are fantastic for leveling and open world stuff. They aren’t great in dungeons and boss fights, or wvw. They are effective in Pvp if played correctly.
