Yeah I can’t see this being able to kill my 2/6/0/0/6 power necro build either. It won’t kill mesmers or thieves as you would never be able to lock them down long enough. Wouldn’t kill eles, guardians, warriors, or rangers there is just too much regen. That leaves engineers which would dismantle that build in a 1v1. Not enough pressure, I’m sorry but generally healing power is just a bad investment in this game.

Nerf the slow moving green ball. Sure. But speed up its cast time and projectile.

If you find a turret engi on a point range then until you get help if your a class without aoe power attacks or just let then have the point and go take the other two 5v4 since that engi isn’t going to be much help on those. Similar to how you would deal with an MM. Although I would a argue MM is easier to beat by leashing the minions and abusing z axis.

No it was because he is deaf and everyone team is going to say no because they all hate deaf people. It has nothing to do with not wanting to play with ridiculously delayed communication.

Let’s say a team put you on. You did well in a tryout in teamq. Get to an ESL game and they try and type something to tell you to do something and in that time they took to type some thief back stabs them and then you do what they told you to meanwhile they now want you to do something else because the theif back stabbed them. Or with your map awareness you decide to go do something without them telling you too, but the team had a good reason for not telling you to go do that or whatever there is literally hundreds of reasons a team wouldn’t take someone that cannot utilize voice comm.

I love it when there is power lich necro on the team I’m playing against PoC to the lich and fear chain the kitten out of him. Thanks for playing!

Also the reason I suggested dhuum terror is because it synergizes better with carrion as he requested a high health pool with the dhuum build you will be life blasting more often. Also while the sigils you chose would indeed have more damage your a necro and once your a little higher on the ladder 2 energy sigils are almost mandatory, especially on a carrion build with no tougness.

If OP wants a build that sacrifices HP for toughness but maintains pressure and defense I would recommend this one.

The MM one well if you bomb them and they actually burn their heal for condis that mm is kittening dead. If it’s a fetid consumption MM wait until you have either killed a minion or two, or he has blown his bone minions transfer that poison and fear chain the kitten out of him especially if you notice his wurm died or if he’s not running it he’s probably screwed anyway.

I think he’s using rampagers for the bleed procs and for the condi damage. He’s also using the ele runes for bo th fire and chill.

2. No, your going to get ganked. Positioning can help a little. Yes avoid the crazy outnumbered fights also learn what classes and builds hard counter the one your using.

3. Spectral utilities, Scepter 3, Staff auto attack, stuff dying these are really the only ways on a terrormancer. But at the beginning of a match switch all your utilities to minions summon the minions, then switch the utilities back to the traits you want and your minions will die giving you lifeforce so your not at a huge disadvantage when the match starts. If you try out that power build I linked your ds regen will be insane with dagger auto, warhorn 5 spectral utilities staff auto.

4. We are supposed to get knocked around by any class that can knock people around welcome to the struggle. The key is recovering quickly and keeping pressure on the opponent.

5. I really don’t have an answer to that question… I tend to use carrion on the dhuum terror build since I will be life blasting more often on that one. I use rhabid on the PoC Terrormancer.

6. When they have burned their condi cleanses…. its hard to give you an answer here.

The bug I’m talking about only happens if it’s enough to kill you as far as I can tell otherwise it works normally I think.

Looks interesting, only things I can see while looking at it are you might want to consider changing those force sigils to something with a on crit and in spite 1 consider spiteful talisman or spiteful spirit instead.

This my current tpvp power build 3 stunbreaks lots of lf regen, semi invuln at times keeps pressure on target even while stunned which is what I think is wrong with alot of our power builds also uses poc to strip stab and might as much as you can.

On a side note the minor trait you get in soulreaping does not count as a stunbreak. It is not an on demand break and it could happen when you aren’t even stunned.

That wasn’t even the point of my thread. Most of you failed to get it. I wasn’t even given a chance to try out just because I’m deaf. That fact alone was ignorance at its finest. Who knows? I could surprise the kitten out of you with my map awareness and situational awareness and guess what? Since I’m a very visual person, I actually do see a lot more than most people do aka I do pay attention to my party’s condition stats, map locations, timer for certain spawns, animations, and such all at once. I do not need to be told much during a match if given a chance. You’ll see it’s very minimal typing with me but oh well, keep the ignorance going stronk. If anyone was wondering, I main d/d ele. Also can play phalanx warrior and cele rifle engi with trip kits.

Well that’s great. But that’s something that was an accident that made him go deaf. So he’s still adjusting. I was born that way. I’m not adjusting. It doesn’t take any focus for me at all lol. I pvp reactively and I feel like I have a good gauge on what to do. In fact, I’ve played 3 other mmorpgs before and have been the leader of all of the guilds on those games that dominated the server. Dominated.

We didn’t miss the point. But it’s very hard for us to look at this from your pov. Things like this happen to everyone ive had asthma since i was 2 and was still able to play hockey, lax, and box hell i had more wind and was in better shape than most of the people i played with and when i turned 18 i wanted to join the military but they wouldnt even give me a chance and its not because they are ignorant. It didn’t matter if i could run 15 miles or if i was physically capable of keeping up with everyone else. Its an X factor, a risk/reward.

What MMO’s where they if you dont mind me asking.

But like i said before if you are really as good as you think you are then work your way up the leaderboards do some dueling servers and people will notice you.

@flow, it’s not really and insta gib and it’s not happening when life force and hp are extremely high. It’s like falling or taking one of those one kitten boss hits if the damage is greater than both your ds and your hp it will down you but it doesn’t combine the two. So if I’ve got 3k hp left and 2kds left and someone hits me for an attack that does 3k instead of bringing me out of ds and having 2k health it just insta downs you.

As far as I can remember it’s been like this since they took away our ability to absorb killshots and fall damage.

Or you have a small sample size of steamrolling bad players too stupid to focus the necro with no stunbreaks. You know why I take plague signet? It’s a stun break, it transfers conditions to a target, and it draws conditions from allies yeah its soooo bad….

Hey is this close to what you run in tpvp? If not what do you think about the trait choices and sigils other than the energy and fear stuff.

He’s not trying to judge you. I get why your being defensive. If I were you I would try to prove myself more in soloq teamq and duel servers. If your really as good as you think you are and really don’t need to be told when to rotate or say when a player is calling g out a water field or any skill type call out then someone will eventually notice. I myself have been having trouble getting on a team, but today a couple people starting messaging me and gave me a little tryout qed up in tq a few times and didn’t lose a match.

I have been playing online games since Legends of Kesmai, Ultima online days and I have been using voice coms for a very long time. And as much as I know you don’t want to hear it having a leader and having players that know what to call out matters alot. They can tell you exactly where other players are on the map, they can tell you whether or not they can take the point or if they need someone else, they call call out their stuns and immobilize s so the range nuke and aoe teammates can drop the damage when their enemy is stunned…. honestly I can go on and on about why voice comm has taken online gaming to another level but I’m not sure you even want to hear it let alone accept it. This requiring of voice comms never has been more apparent than today playing with that team that gave me a tryout.

And another necro build with no stunbreaks…. yes this kind of thing works at low levels for melting people but you have no stunbreaks and no energy sigils mean you’ve only got two dodges. As a necro you should know we tend to get focused by CC.

This has a little more sustain and still has enough offense to drop those boon heavy classes.

Exactly why we need new players…. if the good veterans are leaving you need players. They need to learn to pvp just like the veterans did. So now a player may become interested in pvp and find they lIke it. But what needs to not happen is the brutal whining, I can admit when im beaten by skill not just build and it’s something people need to learn to do instead of just qqing about a build. If this isn’t a troll post. Attack from range kite the minions a little bit away from him and try using higher or lower ground depending on where you are fighting abusing z axis messes with minions. Once youve bugged out the minions it will take the necro a second to get them to do stuff again letting you own the necro who now has no utilities.

I think he means not to engage him. That build is actually a pretty good idea and it would be difficult to fight 1v1. But it also means that team has lower mobility and if that guy moves his minions will bug out, the melee ones at least. So let them have that point and 5v4 them on the other two, if you notice the MM move go steal the point he was on.

We should probably kill those necros. Also I’m never being the staff ele again.

I’m confused. So the mesmer did his job and stripped your stability while your in lich form so the Warriors can CC the kitten out of you…. this is one of the reasons I don’t like using lich. Your stab will get stripped and you will just turn into a much larger ping pong ball that everyone knows to focus because they don’t feel like getting hit for 5k. I love it when I’m playing my terrormancer and I run into someone using lich!
