Exactly how did this take 16 months to make?
I really, really wonder how. I’m willing to bet with the right tools some people would be able to create this Coliseum in less than a day.

Well, it was fairly obvious (back in 2010(?) when they had a PvP match at GamesCon) that GW2 won’t be an e-Sport.
GW1 could have been e-Sport, but Arena Net tried reinventing the wheel with GW2 and failed.

Meanwhile some random 500 achievement guy puts 4 rares in Forge and gets a free precursor.

That’s correct. They’re not punishing the casuals, they’re punishing hardcore players.

Sell White, Blue.
Salvage Green and Yellow.
TP Exotics.
Keep all mats.

Should at least scale according to your level. 1-10 – 1G, 10-20, 2G, 40-50, 5G, etc.

So. I have around 30 Ascended Rings on my storage character, over 40 FOTM relics and few awful looking FOTM Weapon skins.
What new rewards are they adding? 40+ FOTMs are less rewarding than AC P1 P3 SCs, Arena Net, better make the new rewards good.

I don’t like the reset though.

Hopefully you actually have to play the game to get the precursor, and not just grind T6 Mats/Gamble Mystic Forge.
I don’t know – 1000 Events, X Total kills with the weapon Y, something, just not grind.
I’m not saying I don’t want to work for it, but I just don’t want to mindlessly farm.

That’s why you make repayable content like fractals.

Regardless of whether they’re making an expansion or not, Living Story is a mediocre substitute.
Check list content that can be done in less than 6 hours.

Personally, I don’t really care, see no difference.

Because it would make for an epic campaign story in which we believe we’re simply liberating Cantha from a racist and insane Emperor whose ideals of purity have divided even the human populations of Cantha into half a dozen subgroups and helping the Tengu reclaim their ancestral homes. And then we learn the Emperor of Cantha has been possessed by the will of the Deep Sea Dragon and our best way to defeat him involves summoning Shiro Tagachi back from the dead in a semi-faustian bargain.

The final mission/story dungeon involves sieging the Imperial Palace in Kaineng backed by the soul of Shiro Tagachi himself who, with each Imperial Loyalist/Deep Sea Dragon corrupted we kill, they are turned into an afflicted or Shiro’ken, as we get closer to the Emperor himself. Any concerns we have about about the fact that we’re undoing everything done to stop the Affliction is, literally, blasted away when the Deep Sea Dragon tears open the roof of the Palace to support his avatar while our weapons become infused with Shiro’s spirit in an epic clash to free Cantha and slay the Deep Sea Dragon.

The fact that 2000 or 3400 armor makes no difference however is bs.

Still, the future looks much more promising for that game, but then again, trailers have lied about games before, like Manifesto. I love the idea Sandbox MMO + Minecraft idea.

How much Karma can you get doing FOTM?
I’m at level 50, have never paid attention to Karma.

Which is currently the fastest way to farm around 600k Karma and 150 skill points?

And what will Arena Net do to keep player in GW2 once clearly more superior Everquest Next comes? Continue their 2 week 1 hour checklist content?

Living Story is horrible, I’d much rather see them release expansion – Cantha.

I heard in game that someone data mined GW2 and found that they’re adding Precursor Hunt next patch. Is this true? Any link?

You got that right, I haven’t played the living story since the September 1.st SAB.

Too bad Arena Net said EU vs NA can never happen due to limitations of some sort, this would be more interesting than their E-Sport.

I’ve heard meta is much different in EU servers – less zerging and more strategic.

The whole game is an endgame in GW2 is bs.

What if they gave a Precursor for completing all dungeons without dying in, lets say, 4 hours. That would actually require some skill.

I started working on my legendary a week ago.
It’s not hard to farm gold or gather mats, gambling however is.
I’ve already spent 100G on Greatswords, no luck so far.

The fights were more watchable in GW1 and slower paced.
More strategic, less chaotic and more cooperative.
Front line, middle line, back line. In GW2 everything seems to be a big cluster*, everyone fights for himself.

While I was looking through the internet for the possible causes and similar cases, I read that some people claimed to have their accounts permanently banned without the option to appeal the it. That was what worried me the most.

Yeah, but how do I avoid being hacked again if I have no idea what got my account hacked since I’m always trying to take care of them.
What if I get hacked again and this time I can’t make another ticket.

I’ve no idea how it (my account) could have been hacked (I honestly doubt it was) since I double checked the IPs that had accessed my GW2 account and all of them were mine.

Plus, I full system scanned my pc and found no malware/viruses and the password was unique to GW2 only, have never used it anywhere else. And my email is more than secure (hopefully).

Maybe I got reported for something that looked like a “Gold selling”.
It just seems strange and suspicious since I can’t see any evidence.
Have never had any account hacked.

Gaile, about 3 days I got banned for being a GOLD seller, and was unbanned about 35 hours later, however, upon logging in, I received Heroic Chest via PM from Arena Net.
Is this intended or was it a system bug?

The problem is, I’ve never joked about being a gold seller, I’ve never pretended to be one, I don’t even play PvE currently, and I have not sent anyone anything.

If its automated, it’s really unfortunate that some trolls can get you banned.

Have been Guild Wars player since 2007, and have spent thousands of hours in GW1 and hundreds of hours in GW2. I’ve never received any ban or account suspension, ever.
I’ve always played by the rules.

Now 2 days ago, I got falsely accused and got permanently banned for being a Gold Seller.

I filled the support ticket, giving all information requested and updated it additionally 4 times with more information to help the people at customer service see that I have not taken part in any gold selling. (Ticket #54419).

Today, my account gets un-banned, no explanation given whatsoever, no reply from the customer service, why was I banned, why did this happen, who made this mistake, my account was simply unlocked again.
However upon making the ticket I specifically requested an explanation – I want to know who made this mistake? Arena Net, you claim that system is not automated, however, I find it hard to believe.

What’s even more ridiculous, upon the log in, I received Heroic Chest via PM from Arena Net saying “Thanks for playing GW2.”
Thank you, but that’s not what I want, I want to know which of my actions while playing the game triggered the ban.

No one has messaged me anything, I did however send 2 blue dyes I didn’t need to a random person I met in LA. I’ve been playing WvW all week for 500 badge gift.
All I did today was play WvW for around 2 hours and play AC for ~15min.

That being said, there has been a gold seller spamming on FA for over a week now, and I’m willing to be he’s still there. And yet they ban innocent players.

I love how you treast your players Arena Net.
Knowing how fast you work I might as well expect week or two for a reply.

So how long do I have to wait/will have to wait? Seriously this is ridiculous.
I had plans with my guild and now I get auto banned for no reason whatsoever?

And don’t you dare to say it’s not automated – ban WvW player for gold selling? What the actual -? You think I was standing in SMC and spamming gold selling?

How come the real gold sellers on FA Lion’s Arch don’t get banned for a week?

Last thing I remember is playing WvW, buying armor from TP and using Mystic Forge to get Legendary Clovers.

Account Support → Hacked/Compromised Accounts → Reporting a Hacked Account ?

Was playing GW2 as usual, logged out to do some real world stuff, came back and got this message -
“Your guild wars 2 account has been terminated for engaging in or assisting with gold or item sales for real-word money, which is a break of the user agreement and rules of conduct. This action is permanent.”
Why? Please elaborate Arena Net.
What do I do now?

Maybe this is how they are planning to keep players playing?

I started making my Legendary 4 Days ago, already have it 20% done.

Doesn’t change the fact that Arena Net said that they’re already working on Precursor Hunt back in January, I don’t have the link, It’s somewhere on GW2Guru.

Back in January there was a post by Arena Net saying that they will implement some kind of a Precursor hunt in following months.
What happened?
Could we please get an update Arena Net?
