Has anyone else every left the keyboard (for whatever reason) to return only a minute (or maybe a few) to find that your character has suffered multiple deaths while you have been AFK because well meaning people have rezzed you and moved on leaving you to me killed by the respawning mob(s)?
It would be nice to have a way of marking your character as AFK using a quick and simple method and have that condition viewable to others, either that or a “no rez” switch you could toggle which would prevent people from rezzing you?

Hiding the Rangers Pet

Hiding the ranger’s pet is very useful, but there should be a way to lock it so that the pet does not appear when you enter combat mode due to falling.

Thief Finishing a Target

I have a level 80 thief myself which I play on occasion in WvW.
Attacking is mean to break stealth, finishing is an attack.
As soon as a thief clicks that button to start the finishing move they should become visible otherwsie it makes a mockery of the attacking breaking stealth.
I’m sure this is an oversight due to finishing not using standard combat rules which I would hope would be fixed at some point.

Legendary weapons should be like Everquest

Legendaries in GW2 are just fancy weapon skins, they are no more powerful than any other level 80 exotic. Their purpose seems to me to keep those who want to grind busy, while those who don’t want to grind can avoid it and still have equipment as powerful as anyone else.
If you made them quest rewards, then you would have to find something else for the grinders to do…..

People keep going on about mounts Anet have said that they will never add mounts to this game. Do you people understand the word “Never”? If not, look it up then stop making “Add Mounts” posts and stop wasting space on ther forum server’s hard drives.
I know that there are other games that have them, but there are also other games that don’t. if you want mounts, go play a game that has them and stop trying to inflict the rest of us with them, because, honestly it is getting a bit repetative.

I’m currently in two guilds, both of them are run by friends that I do tabletop gaming with, I also have mulitiple characters, some of the characters represent one of the Guilds, and the rest the other guild.
Personally I like it. I have always refused to join guilds with a “This must be your only guild” rule.

It seems to me (although I may be wrong) that those who are against it are people running guilds with an open door recruitment policy trying to create a large guild who want loads of influence points, and realise that a portion of their membership are representing other guilds, however if you were to force those people down to a single guild, I’m guessing that they would stay with the one that they actually are representing.
If you have a problem with it and you want the people in your guild to be exclusive to you and represent you with all of their characters, either put it in your MotD or mail them giving them a deadline. If they don’t meet it then feel free to kick them.
But please note, just because they aren’t representing you with one character, doesn’t mean that they aren’t representing you with another.

Umm, actually you can walk there, there are Asura gates in Lions Arch leading to each WvW map.
Also I have managed to get completion on all four maps with a level 22 alt without being ganked by another player once (although I did die to a load of dolls where someone had opened the present at the Stonemist Vista). Basically I saw the WvW maps as a quick way to extra skill points at low level.

I have seen “Commanders” in LA (not the overflow) that I have never seen in WvW, so some people are buying it just to show off.
In WvW there are commanders of varying skill, and I know of a couple of very good commanders where they did not have the money to buy it themselves (too much of their own money spent on siege and site upgrades) where their fellow guildies all chipped in to raise the money.
I do agree that it is too easy for idiots, farmers and market manipulators to get commander when they don’t really have the ability.
I think what they should have done (but too late now) is add an extra WvW achievement for cash spent on site upgrades and then had an additional requirement for commander that you must reach a certain level in each of the WvW achievements that shows at least an experience level and a dedication to WvW – it would have at least weeded out those who just want to run around with the icon giving orders without making a real contribution.

…..Safety in numbers, heaven forbid you have to wait 2 mins to see if more of you allies join you. Shame on allies that come in, look for 10 seconds and then map out again. Just a little persistence is needed sometimes.

Chill for a bit, that means wait, don’t run into 10v1 and hope fingers crossed you will make it our alive, you won’t. Wait till a mesmer or thief with mass invisibility comes or castes a portal so you can get behind the enemy zerg. To the mesmer/thief’s make sure you suggest it to ppl standing next to you when you enter. Other ppl, make sure you listen!

When the enemy servers are camping the start with siege covering the entry platform with a constant barrage so the moment you zone in you are dead due to catapult and arrowcart fire?
I only go to the JP for the free blueprints and bonus badges (to buy more blueprints) as all of my cash goes on repairs and site upgrades, Normally I don’t have time to “Chill for a bit” as there is a war to get back to, but even if I did, you can’t chill for long under a siege barrage…..

Only a WvW player knows that “get Frogs” means go capture the Hylek point by QL.
(Frogs up! Dredge up! Go flip Ogres! Get Quaggs!)

Actually, a few weeks ago, “get Frogs” meant “Attack Arborstone” and for the past two weeks it meant “Attack Vizunah Square”. Try “Hylek Up”.

However only a WvW player knows that “dredge up” does not mean either of these:
1. to bring to notice, esp with considerable effort and from an obscure, remote, or unlikely source ~ to dredge up the past
2. (Engineering / Civil Engineering) to raise with or as if with a dredge ~ they dredged up the corpse from the lake

thieves can back stab one/2 shot a lot of classes lol.

Brittle spike thieves can do a lot of damage but none that I know of can 1 or 2 shot a class. 3 shot on a low hitpoint class sure but a lot has to go right and then they are on a long cooldown. This build is also pretty bleh in group fights.

Glass cannon roamers who like ganking quite ofter have the following combo on a macro of some kind: Steal/Cloak & Dagger/Backstab/Heartseeker/Heartseeker.
Beacuse they are macroed they happen so quickly and seamlessly that they appear to be a single attack when viewed in action.
The Steal/Cloak & Dagger/Backstab at the start will do 19k-21k damage to a charater in level 80 exotic medium armour and the Heartseekers can do 3k-9k damage per hit to you in the same armour depending upon your current health. This will pretty much take down anyone in medium armour. I don’t know what the damage is like when you have level 80 exotic heavy armour, as I don’t have a heavy armour character at that level yet to be ganked so that I can check my combat log to see what I took.
I know that blacktide used to run a lot of thieves like this (’cos I felt their daggers), what servers they have moved to I have no idea..

There is a Shrine in Dreadgehaunt that when you need infront of them it gives you a buff for 30 min

I know the shrine you mean, but it’s pretty pointless unless you are on a low tier server.
After all, who is going to zone out of WvW to renew such a buff then spend 15-30 mins in queue to spend 0-15 mins in WvW to repeat when the buff expires?

SoS transfers

Perhaps people want to play on servers where the queue time for WvW maps hasn’t doubled since the free transfer deadline was announced.
Perhaps people who have server loyalty and have never server hopped would like to continue to have an enjoyable experience on the server which they joined.
Perhaps guilds would like to continue to play together instead of being split over multiple maps due to queues.
And I’m not saying this from the point of view of a low tier player. I am on a T1 server, I have been on this server since the start and never moved.
We still have guilds coming into our server, but queue times for EB and our own borderland have at least doubled during the past week, so are only going to get worse – this is what is going to kill WvW.
A better idea to ending free transfers in the way that they did would have been to have introduced paid transfers immediately, but given every existing player a single free transfer to use at some point in the future. It would have avoided this mad panic which is causing so much pain.

You cannot move to a world that is listed as Full. However, that status varies throughout the day and tends to drop during off-peak hours, i.e. if you are unable to transfer, try again when there are fewer people playing, e.g. early in the morning (server time) or during the work week.

Actually, you have answered my original query quite well which was “…artificially making the population appear lower (aka blackouts)….. Does this sound like exploit?”
The paragraph from the Wiki which I requoted above is not an exploit and no-one as far as I can see has suggested that it was.
If Joe (or Jane) Smith wants to transfer to server “X”, but server “X” is listed as full, Anet instruct that he (or she) should TRY AN OFF-PEAK TIME and suggests when that off-peak time might be.
It does not instruct them that they should arrange a “Blackout” with people currently on that server to drop the server population below full at a time which is not off-peak.

A blackout does not follow the instructions given by the Wiki article you quoted, a blackout takes advantage of the server mechanics detailed in that instruction.
If the people you want to transfer to your server could do so at an off-peak time, as instructed by the Wiki you would not require a blackout.
This suggests that blackouts are indeed exploiting the system in a way which Anet did not originally expect. If they had expected it, they would have no doubt mentioned it in the wiki, so yes it does sound like an exploit, however if it is a game exploit or not is for Anet to decide.

I think the major guilds coordinate to have all their members log off at the same time for a short time period. The population status is determined by the amount of people online, so this would take it down a notch from full, allowing people to transfer there.

So you are suggesting that they may be artificially making the population appear lower to cheat server limits?
Just as a query, but if that is what they are doing, doesn’t that sound like the definition of an exploit…..?

If guilds weren’t so ready to server hop, this wouldn’t be an issue. Personally I have been on the same server since the start and I have no intention of moving.
However I would suggest two possible actions which could enable the OP to complete his server transfer.
1) Find a time of day when the server population is lower – I would suggest 2am PST for NA servers, or 3.30am GMT for EU servers may be good starting points.
2) Contact you guildies who have already server hopped. You should arrange a time when they, and any other friendly guilds you can find do a mass logg-off at the same time. This should have the effect of taking the server off of full status and therefore permit your move – however If it was down to me I would class this second method as an exploit, but I have not heard anything official about this.
I did not come up with this idea, I found it on a US server recruitment post.

This is not the truth. There are zergs in T1. There are also small squads, solos, roamers, killers, contract teams, specialized build groups, dance parties, golem rushes, siege battles, underwater warfare, bribery, trickery, feints and counter attacks, three way battles…

PvDooring and nightcapping is part of the game and I’m not going to complain about that but I find it very weird that you would call this matchup great at the time that you have no opposition. You are thanking us for not being there. That doesn’t display a fighting spirit to me.

We have the woodpecker spirit too , using it when we fight vs guys only want to beat us.
I hope desolation will see they have a card to play for staying on t1 next week.

I think you have Desolation confused with SFR. I don’t have time to upload pictures at the moment as I’m getting ready for Work. I know SFR will probably dispute unless I show the evidence, so if they really want proof I can post pictures after work, or they could just admit the volume of siege on their platform constantly bombarding the Desolation one, or the quantity of campers below the platform ready for those who jumped off to avoid the siege…..

Most europian guilds prefer fighting then just going for points so I doubt you will be getting allot of transfers.

Then the Europeans should come to enjoy the most hardcore Tier 1 fighting environment.

Sure there is European Tier 1, but why huddle all in one place? Sea of Sorrows needs you!

Why don’t you transfer your guild to a European server instead? Sure there is a Tier 1 on the North American servers (as well as Tiers 2-8), but aparrently it’s really boring as the same server keeps winning all the time.

Better yet, why don’t Americans stay on the NA servers, and the Europeans on the EU servers, wouldn’t that be a really novel idea?

BTW, “To The British and Europeans” – Britain is in Europe, if you can’t get long standing real world geography right, how can you be trusted with the geography on a fantasy map which has existed for a far shorter period of time…..

Oh boy, i wonder why deso always ranks last in every rotation.

Makes me wonder why they’re still on #6 and not way lower.

It’s a shame that you didn’t have a picture from earlier, where you you would have found the same scene, but with VS players instead of Deso – Of course if you are VS or Deso, taking that picture half hour earlier would have been difficult as you would have to live through the barrage from all the siege built on the SFR spawn platform to do it.

What I have found since coming to T1 is that if you don’t have a small zerg with you, the odds of making it to the chest are very slim. Friday there were 15 VS camped at the entrance of the “dark room” with siege and we were only 8 – fortunately they had no-one who could pull and when they strayed to close to us – 4 scorpion wires later and they were only 11 they fled into the dark room and after much fighting in the dark we cleared them out and were able to reach the arena – where the top was camped by SFR. Eventually we made it to the chest where I was rewarded with a Golem, Arrow Cart, some badges and vendor rubbish, however this took me out of WvW for over an hour rather than the usual 5-10 minutes. In T2 you could solo the JP quite quickly provided you didn’t try it when BT had the outmanned buff, where they all seemed to decamp to the JP (which I still don’t understand, you are outmanned, your server needs every defender so you go to the JP en-masse).

I’m not sure how long I can take this anymore.

Every time I’ve played WvW over the past few weeks I end up frustrated and cursing the game to hell because of one…single…“feature”.

I play WvW to kill people. I don’t care much for Zergs or rewards. Instead I pick good fights and hope for an interesting combat.

But the downed state and the easy nature of revives makes this the most downright frustrating experience in any video game I’ve played in the last decade. I’ve litterally attacked groups of 3 by myself and downed the same player 3 times. But they just keep on reviving.

It’s so incredibly detrimental to anything resembling skillful play if all it takes is 2 sek. to revive a downed player. Without stability, stealth or Quickness you don’t even need to try and finish someone.

I simply cannot express in words how utterly kittened up this revive/resurrection system is. There is no way this is acceptable in PvP in any form and it will be the prime reason I leave this game behind should good alternatives arise where you can actually kill people in PvP.

I challenge any developer of this game to roam solo or in a small team and not end up wanting to pull out their hair.

Seriously, this is so kittened up.

The system isn’t perfect granted and does need some tweaking – but your post is that WvW (A Team Game – Team games are a social activity) does not suit your playstyle (“I play WvW to kill people” – an anti-social activity).
WvW contains a lot of people who are normally PvE players, but as WvW is not your “normal” PvP experience, do participate in WvW. Anet are targeting Realm vs Realm players and these “normally PvE” players with WvW.
You either need to adapt to WvW or to move to something which does suit your playstyle (sPvP or WoW maybe?) rather than expect WvW to adapt to you.

This reset was pretty fun.

After playing through the night, Id like to congratulate SFR for their everlasting sportsmanship and and thank for all the effort they are putting in to keep Vizunah in T1, particularly the EB group, that keeps resting deso towers making it easier for Vizu to cap. Keep up the good work!

I thought it was Viz resetting them for SFR – oh well, easy mistake to make.
The only time Viz and SFR have fought this morning on EB is when their two zergs ran into each other just outside the north entrance of Overlook keep and the occasional bit of camp capping.
SFR haven’t even taken a run at SM in the 3.5 hours since I logged on this morning.
The bravery of SFR and Viz, after all it takes a lot of guts for two servers running large zergs to take on an [Outmanned] Desolation who don’t have the numbers for a zerg themselves for 3+ hours…..
We are in WvW for fun – judging on the past 3.5 hours SFR have switched to the points game they have been critisizing Viz for, and there was me hoping for some more fun clashes this week like we had last week:(

Must kill guards before yaks.

Without guards Dolyaks will get killed on occasion by the wildlife which seem to spawn in pairs at random intervals along it’s path. Most paths have up 2 different types of wildlife spawn (Although it takes both to spawn on the same journey to kill the Dolyak). However the Speldan-Anza route spawns Bears, Drake & Harpies at random intervals. Sometimes the Dolyak will get none, and other times all 3 will spawn on the Dolyak’s journey. One pair of mobs it will survive, and two will kill it without guards, however if you get all three then the guards won’t save it as they fall behind the Dolyak through fighting the Bears.
The other thing I have noticed is that while in camp, a Dolyak will fight attackers, but once it leaves on it’s slow plod to the first tower it gives no defence while it’s attackers rip it to shreds.
Anyway – The guard upgrade should be made more worthwhile somehow.

New WvW Bug?

Today during a fight at Anzalias Pass on the VS/SFR/Deso EB map a member of Cornucopia [CIA] Guild from SFR manage to somehow glitch themselves into a wall. Instead of waypointing back to their keep they managed to start damaging the workman upgrading the keep. It took a number of us on both sides of the wall using aoe damage (as targeted damage didn’t work) some considerable time to take him down as he kept healing himself.

I’m happy to make a “fair contribution.” However I fail to see how my giving something away for free is equitable. I find it silly that you all see giving away a resource as the standard. So I can expect to get free exotics now? For the good of the server, give me your drops.

You obviously did not read my post properly. I did not ask you to give anything away. I was suggesting that you USED them.
No-one sees giving away resources as standard, you are the only one to suggest that, however in WvW everyone (apart from the rare exception) sees USING their resouces as standard, even those too tight-fisted to contribute to building upgrades will usually place a piece of siege when someone says “We could really do with a <insert siege item here> at this location”, I have even seen people say “I’ve got a <insert siege item here> spare, do we need one anywhere”, and othere even start placing siege without even being asked if they see that it is needed.
As I said before, if you’d rather sell than use your siege – your choice, but it’s not the one that I would make.

WvW Problems/Bugs/Abuses/Glitches

This however is bugged. there have been a number of times since this was implemented where I have logged off my character when I was not in combat, only to find myself dead in LA when I logged that character back in. This did not occur before.
The new system penalises the honest player more than it does the cheats.

They should get rid of this auto-dead. Most other games have a disconnect time-out system, so after you d/c the character stays active for an amount of time (30 seconds plus, depending upon the game – some go for a couple of minutes or more).
This would be a better system, you still wouldn’t be able to f4 to avoid being killed, as your character would remain (and be uncontrolled, doing nothing) and could still be finished off, however in the case of the accidental d/c the player would not be penalised, and if they logged back in quicly enough could continue from where they left off and avoid having to queue for WvW again to get back to the map they were on.
It would also mean that if the server decided that you are in combat when you log out, when you are infact not – no nasty surprises when you log back in.

In the past month I have probably spent 50 gold on upgrades & stuff in WvW. I’m not a commander or part of a big guild, and I’m not rich, I’ve just contributed as needed when needed. Now, I’m not saying that everyone should make this size of contribution, but everyone should make some form of contribution, whether it’s putting down siege where it is needed, or stopping by a tower when running past to see if there is any siege that needs refreshing or upgradeds starting.
Now, if you feel that you would rather make a profit than a fair contribution, then that is your choice and your right to do so if you choose, after all you paid for the game the same as everyone else, just don’t expect me to pat you on the back and congratulate you.

Every time we have Keep or Tower Structural upgrade running when a patch is implemented the upgrade gets bugged. It won’t advance and you can’t order any other Structural upgrades.
Tonight is the 3rd time I have seen this bug occur. Last time it was our keep, tonight it was 3 of our towers on Eternal Battlegrounds. I don’t know if any of the other maps or buildings belonging to the other servers were effected.
Anyone else experienced this?

I’ve read this and thought about it. Although there are a couple of good ideas there, these are the same good ideas that virtually everyone has floated at some points, however some of the others obviously have not been thought through properly – just one example, porting back to a keep costing supply? What if the keep has no supply? No port? You decide to go on the offense, After a close and protracted battle, your side looses and they all port back the the keep to regroup. Oh, your walls just deteriorated due to lack of supply? Better not launch any attacks for a while while we build up supply at athe keep – Where is everyone going? Sitting around watching supply build is boring and we cannot risk lauching any attacks until it has built otherewsie we might cripple our own keep.
Also, you don’t need a new siege weapon – just a focus ele on air (something that seems under-utilized)

No armor repairs.

Fully upgrading Stonemist costs 370 Silver, a Keep 277.5 Silver, a Tower 92.5 Silver and a camp 45 Silver. OK, these are costs for upgrading everything and as things change hands these locations get upgraded to varying levels from nothing to full, and that is without any armour repairs.
For those of you who claiming to make a profit in WvW are you making a fair contribution to these costs? Odds are that for the majority the answer is no – upgrading structures is somebody else’s job, even though they’ll complain quickly enough if the upgrades aren’t present.
In the past 4 weeks I have made a loss of between 10 and 15 gold a week in WvW because others are unwilling to pull their financial weight on upgrades.
So just how long would it take to kill enough Dolyaks to fortify a keep?
(37.5 silver to reinforce the walls, 75 silver for the doors and another 150 silver to finally fortify)

I prefer playing my engineer underwater. Taking a quagan node is easy for an engineer. No hunting around for pearls – just spam some turrets in a Krait swim path and sit back and rest, just occasionally overpowering the turret..
For PvE and WvW I just tend to spam turrets and concentrate on evading attacks which seems to work well. In PvE I can solo champion underwater easier than I can with any other character I have, and in WvW I have won 1v1 fights underwater more than I have lost them which can’t be said for any of my other characters except perhaps my ranger.

Using mesmer portals is bannable ?

There have been a couple of times I have found mesmers after “mesmer sweeps” have taken place – some people rush the sweeps, others are not always looking in the right places both times were within 20 mins of the place falling and I’m pretty sure that they hadn’t exploited into those places. Recently a mesmer on our side managed to hide for over an hour in stonemist and was only caught when he move out to do his portal.

However there is a spot in the bay keeps on the border maps where someone could hide which is probably an exploit (which I will not go into detail about here, but I am happy to discuss it with Anet) – but I always check it when mesmer sweeping myself.

Really for an area of the game that relies so much on Comms, it’s a shame that the game does not have some form of built-in voice client linked to group and squad joining.

If you just play WvW for the count of the badge loots you are doing it wrong.

You need to do everything Nidome said here and badges will come to you as a bonus without recognizing.

Yes, let’s all stop and bask in the glory of the ultimate WvW meta. A herd of scouts, 2 people positioned at every sentry, dolyak, supply camp, tower, and keep — They sit bored waiting for a nonexistent, misinformed roamer to come by and feed them a badge. A dead person in each spawn that infiltrator arrowed/blinked in — sitting in wait to corpse scout for golems or breakouts and salvaging an item every time they are about to drop from inactivity. A roaming zerg going from map to map trying to build golems somewhere invisible to portal train into a tower or keep and drop it before anyone notices.

What an exciting game!!! A bunch of people sitting doing nothing and a bunch of people porting supply in from their home BL and spamming F to build while a herd of mesmers drop portals for golems. All because the dominant meta of this game is nothing but a game of golem hide-and-seek.

kitten that, I’ll take slaughtering bads for badges instead.

So all you want to do is zerg around fighting? Good for you, after all without people doing that we wouldn’t take anything and have trouble defending sometimes.
Just don’t complain when you are loosing towers because they aren’t upgraded or repaired, or complain when you are attacking the enemy and find yourself dying beacuse they have upgraded or repaired since the last attack and actually have defenders present.
Now I’m not saying that we should have "A herd of scouts, 2 people positioned at every sentry, dolyak, supply camp, tower, and keep " – what I am saying that if there is someone present at a tower when it is attacked then you are a lot less likely to loose it, If your side is planning an attack, a scout is useful etc..
Now the duties I listed are useful, and on some occasions can be essential. Please do not discourage or insult those who on occasion are willing to do these things or suggest that they should be due less reward for doing this because their contribution is just as important as yours.

What rubbish. Participation does not equal badges. One day this week I spent 17 hours in WvW and got a massive 5 badges. I also got a whole load of “spikes” and other assorted junk (although the treb blueprints came in handy).
Participation isn’t just running around as part of a zerg or camp flipping party – it is also (amongst other things):
1) Scouting the enemy
2) Upgrading Towers/Keeps/Camps
3) Repairing Towers/Keeps after a battle – usually a thankless task involving vast quantities of time running back and forth to camps after your defensive zerg has moved on.
4) Building defensive siege
5) Building offensive siege
6) Sniping Dolyaks
7) Being the only person sitting around in a tower watching & waiting (If you don’t understand why this is important, then I hope thyat you are on an enemy server)

[Old] Desolation vs Blacktide vs Arborstone

I think I recognize the name Toglos from the forums, but don’t really know who he is.

He’s DkR’s commander, and I’m DkR’s leader. We moved to Blacktide in October along with our allies CIR, ThUn, INT and HRSY and helped the server get from tier 4 to tier 1. After winning tier 1, many of our members (and apparently much of the server and/or game) started to lose interest. Tog is just shopping for recruits at the moment.

I would therefore say that I am unhappy with his initial dishonesty then. I was on EB from approx 9am yesterday until 2am today. When somone made a remark about fighting French & Germans most people pointed out that BT were not German, however “Officer Togloss” went on to say that he was from BT and that BT was mostly Russian and Polish. Now fine so far – but when someone asked him why he was on Deso as a commander he at this point claimed that his guild were intending to move from BT to Deso. This claim was made again later as well. Now it appears that this story has changed. Up until this point I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and before he, or yourself say anything I have read to the end of this thread, this just seemed the most appropiate post to reply to.
Now if he is on Deso to recruit and he is a commander for a BT guild that intends to stay on BT then as a matter of “fair play” he should turn off his commander tag until he returns to you.

Also, are you truly unaware of http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#EU ?
And that it was predicting this matchup as far back as Saturday last week?

that may be, but I`m not what you would call “a skilled pvp-er” and in w3 I have 12 fps… old PC. So I`m not sure how many 1v1 will my guardian win

Try manning some siege equipment either in defence or attack – arrow carts are probably the best for this. Periodically just click leave, spam pickupus and then use again – only takes a second to grab the bags.

Were jumping puzzles always camped?

A better question would be, have people always went to the jumping puzzle rather than help their team ?

Going to the JP for some people is helping your team – You get 2 blueprints, a couple of items you can sell to get a bit of cash to help pay for building upgrades and more Badges of Honour than several hours of fighting will often get you (The drop rate is really variable – I have gone 10 straight kills recently without a drop and then 5 off the next 3). The Badges will eventually help your team whether they are used to purchase better items for the character or more blueprints.

There we were, a group of us from different servers just hanging around, chilling out and dancing in the Jump Puzzle enjoying a mutual “silent” truce, when a group from Arborstone saw us having fun and decided they didn’t like that, I invited them to join in using emotes and they still didn’t like it and decided to attack – now seriously you could see we weren’t there to stop you doing the JP or to fight you so why do it? If you don’t want to join in, there is no reason to spoil it for everyone else.

Haha, for once I find myself liking Arborstone.

I’d gone into the JP to grab some more blueprints as I was out of cash, but seeing the large group of Arborstone were over the far side with siege I decided that I was unlikely to make it through to the chest. Having been on EB for over 10 hours I decided to chill for 5 mins before returning to the fight. Why the other were there I do not know, perhaps they had the same idea as me, perhaps they had other reasons, we will never know. Still why Arborstone were camping the JP with what must have been a sizeable force for them at the time as they had been [Outmanned] for over half an hour instead of defending their towers is up to them
