You guys don’t know anything. Eles in this game are healers, that’s why they are supposed to wear cleric’s. Warriors are DDs, thus berserker gear, but they have high hp and therefore can also be played as tanks/offtanks. Guardians tank and hold aggro, they use either PVT or Nomad’s gear. You’re welcome.

End game is pretty much what you make out of it. Dungeon (solos) can keep you busy, wvw can keep you busy, pvp can etc. – If you don’t find any fun in it, it won’t help you though of course.

Really depends on group + path, 1-3 can be done in approximately 20-30min with a decent group, path 4 usually takes a few mins more. Bad groups (or people who don’t know what to do) can easily spend hours in there.
A good thing to do is to read up on the encounters before you go in.

Got kicked from another party today, my entire group wiped on the wolves at the beginning of COE, cussed ME out and kicked me. Of course it’s all my fault that you all died too right? -__- I’m seriously considering rolling an ele or a warrior at this point, at least then people will not think I’m the reason everything bad is happening.

Edit: I promise I’m not trash ;__; I’m getting kicked a lot more than I’ve ever been kicked, even on my necro.

The video setting is usually at 360p, but the viewer can choose to look at it in 720p, which is just fine.

Why is everyone saying damage increases on ranger? Signet of beastmaster trait is damage. Wild sig giving 25% more damage to player and pet… Now anet replaces it with a trait giving more damage vs slowed foes? Thats a huge kitten nerf, stability and done.

All signets will now trigger on you + the pet by default. So you can get the active signet effects + the 10% from the new trait etc.

The condition duration reduction should be changed to 75% base with a 15% less every 2 stacks rather than a flat 20% per stack.

Understanding her mechanic really isn’t much of a problem. Finding out who she targets for her teleporting shot may take a bit depending on how aware of positioning you are…
To this day I still wonder though why they don’t use the info text for enemies to put information in such as “teleports to farthest player”, “undodgeable”, unblockable", “unreflectable”… That would make things so easy for new players. If they can read or bother to do it, that is.

I might be a bit sour but I guess that’s what happened when you got scammed, or trolled in this case because we had no intention of doing any deal at the first place.
We have a lfg team doing arah p3, purely exp in title and no selling involved, in fact the dungeon host and another person are there for the first time.
Near the end, the other two people, the self-proclaimed elitists(one of them is in a big guild in fact), kicked me and another person out and start selling the dungeon. I have screenshots and all and even the dungeon host whispered me to apologize.
Makes you wonder how many of these self-proclaimed soloers actually “soloed” the dungeon, or they just used lfg to get people to do their works for them.

So, after you two were kicked, there was the dungeon host + the two elitists left? I so would’ve told the host that I’m going to rejoin and then would’ve proceeded to kick the elitists and finish the godkitten path on my own.

Anyway, yeah, they are kittens. If you know their names, report + block them.

When it becomes a pancake, he will block everything, gaining up to 20 stacks overload. Let him get 20 stacks through blocking, then stop attacking. Starting with the 21st hit, he will explode when getting hit. So it requires a bit of timing etc.

May turn out to be very interesting, especially seeing since Ascalon was Charr territory originally…

Just had a melee-gs mesmer quit at the end of the third fractal because he wanted to do all kinds of “cool stuff” (Exploits, shortcuts that aren’t shortcuts) and I said we’re not going to do this, he should open his own groups. At least he’s listening I guess…

The ones I found the hardest before I could practice them. Some I find well designed, some I don’t. Actually, I find Mossy one of the worst and most poorly designed bosses in the game. Still, he made me sweat quite a lot.

Ok, I want to make a fashionable thief on my main account, since thief is the only class (beside necro) that I haven’t gotten to 80 there yet, and I’ve got the magitech and viper skins waiting to be put to good use (not much fashion in my male charr ranger besides his tophat, and the female asura engi is too much into pink and lipstick dyes ).

The problem: What race do I use? I had started a norn thief with a friend (as norn is the only race I never got myself to level), but since that friend turned into a permanent blocklist resident (long story), she’s waiting to be deleted.

I’d like to level a norn one day, and medium armor actually seems to turn out decent on norn from what I’ve seen, but I’m still not sure if I can bring myself to seriously play that race. It seems to move soooo slow.

Sylvari is the other option I’m considering, since I’d love to have one with either the scarlett hairstyle or the shorter, similar one, and neither my ele nor my guardian fit to that hairstyle.

Charr is out of the question due to fashion (not in general, just not what I’m looking for in this character), human is out on principle (I already have way too many human females … a total of one ), and I already have an asura thief on the other account, so norn or sylvari really are the only options.

Any suggestions fashion-wise on what race might fit my needs better? If you have screenshots of nice medium-armour outfits for one or both to go with your suggestions I’d appreciate it.

Sylvari. Imo, Norn are too tall/bulky/whatever to be thieves. Also, Thieves have to feel fast, with Norn that’s not given either. I don’t like the armor-choices for Norn all too much either, but that’s just me I guess.
