the dev said that the damage of iberzerker whirl is spread across its path.. and its damaging just fine in their dmg meters. so i doubt it will be fixed..
maybe, the iberzerker damage from before is the one thats not normal.. hitting most hits when it connects to the targets,.
mirror Blade and full Spatial Surge does more damage then izerker, this is normal to you? You think when izerker was hitting for 4.5-8k it was bugged and the 2k damage you get now is fine? lol funny. Not only it doesn’t deal any damage but it doesn’t cripple properly nor apply bleeds from sharper images…
with awesome pve skills such as feedback/null field there’s no point of even considering of running a mantra build.

None existent build versatility is my biggest complain. The reason i played gw1 was for that, builds. The reason i bought gw2 was 1. cuz gw1 was awesome and this a sequel 2. i thought builds would be at least 1/4 of what we had in gw1 but at the end we don’t even have 1/100.

Missions. What happened to those? i liked to pug main story in NM and HM, i did not bought a mmo to solo whole campaign and DAT campaign lol all i remember is auto spamming turrets on the last boss, very memorable.

Applying hard mode to the word and call it a day would be so stupid and boring end game if that’s what they’ll call it. Adding HM to current dungeon wouldn’t do much good because anet failed with all of them. Not a single dungeon out is fun. What they should do is start adding new dungeons (not mini dungeons that last crappy 15 minutes and are time limited) but real dungeons. If they’re lazy they could just rebuild urgoz/the deep/uw/fow and release one every three or four months. All of them would include HM and these would be the first gw2 zones that can be played in HM.

a class to shut down enemies does not exist nor will exist in the future. This is not casual enough and anet is all about goofy things aimed at casuals that play 2h per week.
I wouldn’t recommend constantly bumping threads… if I was a dev I would just start to ignore that topic as to not reward the constant bumping. I would like to see some sort of update on what’s going on with this though…
Reward? Its THEIR GAME and our best phantasm is dead, a skill is broken and they’re ignoring the issue. If it was broken for a month then it would be excusable, for two it would be funny cuz they can’t fix something that simple (reverse the freaking izerker to its previous state if it takes you A YEAR to find the bug………………..) but almost 5 months is laughable and worth telling your friends that don’t even play gw2. They refuse to do something with our useless Torch, Scepter, izerker and Mind Stab that everyone ignores cuz its THAT bad.
Greatsword Master mostly. The reduction in CD’s on GS plus it’s not always easy on every boss fight to keep 3 illusions up which would reduce the benefit of compounding power.
if u ever weapon swap its easy. and since izerker bug its even less worth taking gs mastery-.-

Illusions: Compounding Power in this one is a no brainer.I think 20/20/0/25/5 is stronger for dungeons. The extra 5 in dueling seems like a waste and the extra 10 in domination is more powerful than Compounding Illusions in my opinion.
The five points of Dueling were left overs, nothing really worth taking but higher crit hit damage and crit chance is never bad (my crit damage is over 80% on that build). What you spec 20 in dom for, greatsword mastery and additional 100 power? Don’t see any traits worth it and compouding power with high crit damage is much better.

But you cannot shatter the whole time because of the shatter cooldowns, that’s why i think hybrid is better
well its not like you’re never spamming your fantasms when running a shatter spec. CD on shatter is quick enough with 30 in illusions anyway.
phantasm builds are garbage in dungeons compared to shatter because 1. they die in seconds (SoL not working properly) 2. poor aoe. When doing easy crap like TA or CoF you can run the 10/25/0/25/10 for fun but if doing fractals 40+ you’re just wanting to be less useful.
Not a bug, its anets amazing next generation AI.
FXAA doesn’t even use 1 frame and if you don’t have sweetfx (dunno how can ppl play gw2 without it lol) installed you should be using FXAA.
It takes a bit more than one frame off the frame rate. And honestly at this resolution I don’t really notice the jaggies.
Also the few areas where I’m only getting 20, I would rather not get 18-19.
It take one fps. FXAA is not demanding at all, that’s why its the worst AA option as well (unless you like blurry fest). And i always find it funny when someone says jaggies aren’t noticeable on 1080p lol they’re as noticeable as they’re in 720p (which they’re VERY). Unless you’re playing in 1440p+ AA is needed but if you don’t care and like chainsaw looking edges that’s fine by me lol.
And if you go to their forums they talk about how broken they are……like, what more do you want? Like do you want the pet to actually eat the other player in one bite and then sh——- a picture of the player’s decomposed body on the player’s class forums?
Play one before talking about those who say they’re broken… Ranger has BM build and trapper build, both with same weapons, yaaaaay. Build diversity is none existent on ranger and 95% of traits are $&$%, that’s why everyone who’ve played one for more than an hour know how of a change this class needs.
Yeah lets add an additional 30sec CD on all phantasms so mez has them on weapons but can only spawn one once per game… Mez is powerful for 1v1, phantasms builds are powerful for 1v1… deal with it or run a mez.
Agreed i think they should also increase CD on all phantasms by 30 sec, have a 10 CD from deceptive evasion, distortion completely removed, blurred frenzy CD increased to 25sec, Mind Wrack set to neutral damage of 500 per illusions, IP deals 50% less damage from all shatter, pull on focus to have 200 range, Magic Bullet to stun for 0.2sec and CD increased to 60sec, Phase Retreat make it so it doesn’t make you ‘retreat’ and CD of 25sec. This should have been done months ago i don’t know why we’re even talking about this 9 months in…

2.5GHz A8-3820 running with it’s integrated graphics, HD 6550D.
Running 1600×900 with most gaming settings set close to quality. No FXAA or high end filtering. Roaming alone I can get 25-30 (I’m capping at 30). More complex areas like the cities I get lower. Yes it can get very low in WvW but I hear that’s common even on rigs that are much better equipped than mine. I just don’t get involved with HUGE zerg on zerg combats. Smaller zerg on zerg still gives me a playable frame rate.

i5 2500k@4.3, gtx570 twin frozr III@920core, 8bg of ripjaws. This is why i think gw2 is EXTREMELY poorly optimized… Currently playing Metro LL maxed (without ssao) and the game runs at 39-60fps but gw2 goes down to 11fps in wvw and look a gen behind graphically…
I agree. I miss the days when i was doing urgoz/the deep before the metas. It was challenging, long, fun and when you’ve finally completed it it felt good and most importantly reward was there. The only thing you want to do after you run is done is take a short break and go again and again and again. not a single dungeon in gw2 feels this way. Anet, add a mega dungeon with increased number of players (to 10 or 12) with significantly harder content (as it would be in fotm lev50+ but without agony of course) and ANYTHING in the game can drop there (all mats and droppable equipment) with a guaranteed random lev80 exotic at end chest (don’t bs your new dungeon with DR!!!). Of course such a dungeon would ‘kill’ all other dungeons because all others have no reward whatsoever but who cares? they’re all garbage without exceptions.
The only thing worth buying from their overpriced store is fine transmute stones on which i would never spend real dollars but trade in game gold for gems.
I don’t think that makes up for the loss of so much dps each time you inflict 1 stack of low duration vulnerability. There are better ways to support.
The “support” argument also loses water when you talk about running solo.
I believe that the vulnerability is there so that the skill would remain balanced if the bounce trait was working. Conditions would stack too fast if the vulnerability was not there but with the current bug its just a hindrance for pure condition builds.
That’s why staff projectiles are so slow. Slow kitten projectiles and RNG with vulnerability is too much.

It makes the attacks even more RNG as they have a chance to do drastically less damage that is not compensated by a few seconds of +1% dmg. RNG reduces the impact of skill on gameplay, so I dislike this.
I’m not sure about adding poison, as that has additional affects aside from just condition damage. I would be happier if the auto-attacks just had a chance to bleed or burn.
that would be perfectly fine as well. But if they add Pistol MH it better have some spammable poison cuz its what i miss on mez the most.
What makes me think that its not as hard as they are saying it is are the fixes that they issued for the torch right after the same patch that broke izerker. Double blast finisher and perma stealthing on the torch were both fixed with in 2 days… So what’s taking this one so long?
I guess I have to repeat myself. Some bugs are stupidly easy to find. Others are buried under mountains of code. I’ve even run into some where my scripting was flawless but the way the compiler interpreted it in a way I didn’t intend and that borked the entire process. Oh, and I’ve accidentally assigned a string variable type and tried to transfer its value to an integer type. That created a lovely mess as well. And then there’s the nightmare of every coder imaginable. When you’re hired to continue on behind another programmer and they didn’t place a single annotation anywhere in the literally hundreds to thousands of pages of code to tell you what the hell their crap does.
There is a reason why programmers get paid almost as much as doctors. The profession is literally a NIGHTMARE, sometimes requiring 12 to 14 hour days, lots of focus, nerves of steel and the patience to withstand a never-ending cycle of trial and error. I’ve had days where I crashed face first into my bed, too tired to even remove my shoes and only to wake up in a cold sweat two hours later because of disturbing dreams involving terms like “undefined” and “invalid syntax”. It is not for the faint of heart.
If you really want to know how bad programming is, just take a look at the coding for this thread and try your best to understand it.
But if you guys just HAVE to complain about something, the tooltip for the scepter is fair game. That is a simple string constant that should have been fixed after BWE2. Knock yourselves out!
Absolutely ZERO excuses for not finding a bug in what? FIVE MONTHS? lolololol. If they have one person assigned for the job and he looked into it for 1h in the passed 5 months then i can understand why they haven’t fund anything but if there’s people constantly looking into it and not finding anything that’s just lols skills. As i suggested in another thread, DECREASE the speed of izerkers travel time and make it spawn closer to the enemy. These devs seem to not try anything when x class doesn’t become OP because of x skill (this applies to Torch directly).

Of course not but you will get a nice timed exclusive dungeon that goes away in two weeks and is as challenging and rewarding as a random event chain that no one does.
My suggestion for SB.
Crossfire: Lower its damage to as low as it can be and remove flaking.
Poison Volley: Replace it completely… Would like a skill that is single target, moderate damage and sets foes on fire for 3-5sec.
Quick Shot: Remove swiftness if it hit and replace it it by poisoning your target for 6sec.
Crippling Shot: This skill is a joke… 3sec cripple LOLOL wtf were they thinking… Increase cripple for at least 6sec and gives three stacks of bleeding for 6sec, CD increased to 13sec.
Concussion Shot: Be like Magic Bullet on mez pistol but doesn’t bounce which means a 2sec stun from no matter where you hit your target from.
Now we’re talking about a powerful RANGED weapon that reminds me of what were bows in gw1.
As a ranger a large percentage of our damage comes from our pet which you can’t just remove and deal more damage. Anet doing all kind of useless things to our pets but one of the most important was never even mentioned. Why some F2 skills take 45sec to a minute to CD? Am i here to swap pets THREE times before CD refreshes? I suggest all CD should be reduced to a maximum of 30sec (and that is only for the most powerful ones such as fear/stun) because i want to use pet abilities and not wait 10 minutes for them to CD. It would also be nice if all other none F2 pet abilities were significantly CD reduced cuz its an Ai and no one wants to wait 1 minute for X ability because our pet missed a KD or whatever.
that would be stupid if was the case. You take a trait that requires 20 points, use a bouncing attack and the trait says no i ain’t no bouncing… Thing is broken.
Confusion is like SS in gw1, you made builds around it and you should be able to do the same in gw2.

The trident clones are working with the trait so they have their extra bounce its just all of our land illusions that are bugged with it.

Joke reward isn’t exclusive to fotm but all dungeons. I think anet don’t understand what good reward is (even though this wasn’t a problem in gw1) because they’ve already ‘upped’ dungeon reward and its as laughably weak as it was since day one.
