yeah I was trying out the GS/Hammer build and trying it out in ranked it works nicely.

I get highest scores on my team, most damage dealt and this always happens, thanks anet.
No matter how much you ask for something or anything related to balance, the pvp team cant do a single thing about it, and the reason that is, is because they aren’t in charge of balance.
It’s interesting because gold selling has been the same in gw2 as it has always been. Just because the sellers spam more often now doesn’t mean it’s getting out of hand, it’s an underground market so you wouldn’t know how business is going.
Because they seem to be spamming more now, it could be because 1) they moved to a different location or renewed their IP address or changed their ISP, 2) they’re getting lower demand for gold buyers. To be honest, I’ve been looking at the rates they’re selling gold for, and it has skyrocketed from $1/100g to $2.50/100g, which is a major difference. On top of that, the same can be said for precursors, and other items of great value which used to be around $15 are now worth $30 ish dollars. The prices mainly change with respect the how much a gem is worth in gold and dollars, not so much by demand or lack of demand either way.
The demand for gw2 gold hasn’t been great either way, simply because the player base is too afraid to buy any, the significant lack of content worth paying gold for, and the new gold cap restriction forcing sellers to sell a minimum amount of base gold otherwise money is lost. I’m not advocating for selling/buying gold, I am simply speculating logical reasons to the phenomena of gold seller spams coming back.
It’s the same stats just with more precision and sacrificing ferocity for vitality. If you need more crit chance I would say use marauders if not just stay berserker.
As much as your points are valid or invalid in any form, the WvW team that works in Anet doesn’t really have much influence on balance, and in addition to that matter, niether does the PvP team. It is in fact the only remaining team that does and that is why you will never see opinions change towards rangers in WvW.

I mean look at the number of classes that are accepted for wvw already, they’re mostly exclusive to just guardians, eles, necros, mesmers, 1-2 warriors, and revenants. Medium classes are usually tossed to the side and left to rot. It would be great if we could use venomshare thieves and invoke other guilds to do so. It’s really a shame that people have such high ego over not putting thieves in the zerg.
I think there should be the titles: Lightbringer, Warmaster, and Magister when we get the third tier of their backpieces; just something that would warm my heart considering I had to work hard for them. Pretty sure the people who got them also feel the same way.

One thing I’ve noticed about combat is the lack of high ground advantage. In real world physics range weapons such as bows and rifles have a high ground advantage but with GW2 it seems to be based on a sphere around the player and the weapon. When elevated above and a bit away from the target there is a drop off where that sphere of influence curves under negating high ground advantage. There are ways around it with pets, turrets and such to extend that damage influence.
I’ve played quite a few first person shooters and they rarely have this problem. Was this a choice of the devs or a side effect of how they calculate damage? I’m curious on what others think about this topic.

Anet hear this one: have a panel that shows the names of the guilds that are tagged up in the map, their levels, and how many people are in their squad.
Using berserker stance isnt the issue, usually when warriors fight necros, the necros are never alone, that being said, given that the necro is alone, the minions waste our efforts because we have to spend 5 seconds blocking the elite minion rush, the minions attacking us along with the 9 seconds berserker stance has; that means we have only 4 seconds to resist condi damage; within that time necros tend to fill up their reaper form and just throw everything else at us. even usjng the signet resistance a warrior can get bursted down quite easily if wearing the berserker amulet. You should go try fighting a necro as warrior and see how hard it is to actually bring one down, necros dont give any warrriors a chance to do much let alone if youre complaining about warriors bringing you down it simply comes down to a timing and skill issue. 1 necro managed to easily take me down in 2 seconds as minionmancer, didnt even let me use my shield block before i could attack.
Also just because you cant kill a class using your crappy meta build doesnt mean that the class is unbalanced, warriors using adrenal health isnt the problem, our signet only heals for 2k mending for 5k and the shout about 11k but the shout doesnt count because the cooldown is 30 second, and as for the stance heal it really varies on whether or not you get bursted down after you heal. Berserker stance itself has a 1 min cooldown, which is plenty of time to really screw us over.
I’ve never played and don’t claim anything is better than wvw right now, but I’m seeing a lot of streamers talk about how ESO is starting to get their wvw style in order and improving. Not sure if anyone can confess to that but seems like it may be worth a try.
I am excited about DAOC though, looks fun.
Dude have you seen the running animation for DAOC, those animations are 5x crappier than LOTRO!

Warrior has a ton of cleave and aoe, I don’t see how you’re dying to minionmancers.
Just because the cleave is high doesn’t mean it’s enough to 1 shot a necro; necros tend to pull shrouds up, and also for warriors to have a “ton” of cleave they first have to build it up. It’s not like were going to open up with arcing slice or eviscerate, we have to build up to it.
I’m saying cleave the minions down first, then deal with the necro who now has 3 dead utility slots and no stunbreaks unless he has foot in the grave.
It’s virtually how revenants trounce MM necro, and revenants are the weakest class to conditions.
You plop swiftness facet active and the aoe alongside autoattack cleave pretty much burns down the minions. Warrior has even greater aoe.
You’re probably having difficulty because you’re rushing the necro before dealing with the minions.
Sort of like someone who ignores mesmer clones on duels instead of easily cleaving them down with melee autoattacks while chasing the mesmer.

I suppose repair hammers are an okay concept, I really don’t like the idea, but just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea. The thing about it is that if Anet decides to give out repair hammers, they should at least give something that can equally counter it, an example my guildies gave was using a ladder to get inside of keeps and towers.
I hate it when people say bg is on break, bg never has been on break, good guilds just rise and fall. Ever since the unlink of ET with us, we’ve been lacking on numbers in the NA region.
Welp, I think you’ve officially convinced me to quit; I was going to quit but then I said nah, WvW is still fun, but after 2k+ hours in WvW, I think it’s time to call it quits. It really is unrewarding at best, and Anet seems to have their heads, as stated by someone, in the sand. I always thought I would like my programming counterpart hobby more anyway, about time I get skilled at it more than I already am.
Are you scared that due to all the QQ, warriors are going to be nerfed into the ground in the next balance patch? I mean touching sustain. and nerfing adrenal health into the ground, killing power warriors, increasing the CD on defy pain. reducing the amount of condi’s cleared on cleansing ire, completely killing any warrior build that takes strength over discipline. I honestly can’t help but feel that Ragezerker or any genius that managed to make strength, defence zerker work are gonna get hit hard.
Maby it’s just me bieng paranoid here. But for the last few days I’m really having that omnious feeling.

Yeah there have been a kittenton of rumors about warriors getting nerfed, there will be no escaping it. If that happens I’ll hope for the best that guardians get a buff.

The rudest behavior I’ve seen in WvW is two persons bowing to start a duel, and the winning person proceeding to stomp the loser.
This behavior is bad and shouldn’t be encouraged.
Isn’t it commonly understood that a bow preceding a fight meant that it was going to be a no-stomp duel where both sides would res and continue dueling and fighting one another.
I guess many don’t share this opinion.

Why not just fight on sight as a normal roaming encounter would turn out?

Boons doesn’t make the guardian a guardian, the ability to tank and heal itself does.
I don’t know but I feel like warriors are actually in the most balanced I have seen so far. You can go full zerker and hit like a truck, but the only thing that can truly stop you if you are skilled is another glass cannon, condi bomber, or anything that can tank all the hits you throw. Warrior still has the potential to die to other builds, which is why I feel that the only things they need to do to warrriors is fix skills that have bugs or rework skills people aren’t inclined to use. Just my 2 cents.
i concur, i liked going through the trouble of getting my lightbringers pack. Though the game could use more dungeons with their corresponding armorsets, and there should be challenger modes that give even better armor.

people dont want to because they need the meta telling them how to play the game. 1 guardian tank with 3k armor and 9 dps should be enough to xlear all the bosses. I tanked the first boss of SAB like a charm, i got replaced with a filthy mesmer and dude had trouble staying alive. I hate how people act in this game which is the same way wow players have acted; leeching off of metas and expecting everyone to follow it. which is why i dont even raid anymore, i just wvw and go screw myself, idc about legendary or getting ascended armor anyway.
Hi Anet I would propose a solution: You kick every inactive that hasn’t been on for more than three years time from the server and when they come back they can choose the server that they want to be in.

To make gw2 great- introduce underwater content, give us new dungeons that give ascended armor and have more puzzles and are more time consuming to help weed out casuals and you can’t hide in the corner to fight a boss.
Believe me when I say underwater content is not a good idea; they did this in wow and boy did everyone hate it deeply. Very, very deeply.
1 – that is NOT LS1. We cannot replay LS1. That might be your Personal Story which you can get rid of the arrow/marker for under options.
It pops back up whenever you log back into the character.
1)We should have an option where we can completely ignore having to do Living Story season 2, without the green marker protruding in the UI.
2) We should have an option to change the order we decided to roll with if we completed the original story with Zhaitan.

From the posts on the subject of removing crafting stations it is clear that a large fraction of forum goers do not want new people nor do they want to be bothered by people who do not 100% wvwvw accessing their game.
Your ideas would be horrible to them.
I WvW alot and I actually want more people to wvw; and they should because they work hard for gear in PVE. No point in it going to waste on just raid bosses.
JUST REDUCE THE SIZE OF DBL SHEESH that was the only problem with it in the first place anyway!
To put it shortly, all of the NA WvW guilds have been reduced to four or five diffrent guilds, SEA/OCX have been the ones keeping BG up in T1, and one, [asc] has been kindly commanding during EST daytimes. It’s probably why you see a little BG in WvW and most likely why I will probably consider leaving the server.
You know; there’s a won ton of people complaining about this, and what I don’t understand is how are people not even considering warrior? They have passive speed and are just as heavy. Heck, even revenants man. Plus they deal more damage output.
