After you spared Scarlet and walked away, I sneaked in and offed her and sold her organs on the navy blue market. (The navy blue market is almost indiscernible from the black market to most people.)
But seriously, when villains like Scarlet die, who’s to say they are really dead? I have a suspicion we’re going to see her reincarnated into a Scarlet Dragon, or a Scarlet Ultra Vine Monster or whatever.
When I get that kind of error, typically logging out and then back in fixes it. Metaphorically I think it’s kind of like your computer and the server are holding hands when you log in, but if ever your hands are ever broken apart and your computer tries to hold hands with the server again, the server is like “How do I know it’s really you and not your evil twin?” So the server refuses to let you do certain things like use the TP, thinking maybe you are a hacker and not the legitimate account owner.
In the new expansion, HoT, there are many places where you basically do a jumping puzzle in reverse, falling great distances over and over. Something that makes that easier is a big game changer in HoT, so the ability will be more important in the future.
I used dagger storm for the cripple effect. Part of surviving in a zerg is being in the right place at the right time, whether that’s staying on tag or avoiding being stuck in the enemy’s kill zone. If you’re crippled and can’t shake it off, you’re pretty much doomed.
I also sometimes use it when the enemy is on the run, to help prevent their escape.
When I hear that sound, I think maybe Dr. Who is grinding the gears in the TARDIS (it’s all caps – an acronym – Time And Relative Dimension In Space).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TARDIS
He needs to learn how to shift gears better or he’s going to have to get his chrono-transmission rebuilt. Those things don’t come cheap.
I would like it if when my character ran the wings would stick out to each side horizontally, like I was trying to take off. (example below)
http://ibc.lynxeds.com/files/pictures/2011_08_20_Diomedea_exulans7.JPG
Also, when I fall wearing them, they should go up in a “V” shape like a bird of prey’s wings just before it hits its prey. (example below)
Assassin’s Reward gives 3 (count them!) THREE health (according to the trait listing itself) per initiative spent. . IN the wiki, it’s 69 which is a little confusing. In any case the amount of healing is absolutely trivial for any level of trait, much a Major Grandmaster trait. Am I wrong? Maybe I’m just not combining it with the right skills/traits to make it practical.
Legendaries are great. They have awesome skins. They have adjustable stats. That being said, from a financial standpoint it’s cheaper to buy an extra bag slot for your character, buy a 20 slot bag to put in said slot, raise all your crafting abilities to the max, and create enough ascended weapons with various stats to fill that 20 slot bag than it is to create a single legendary weapon.

If sexual dysphoria is biological, not psychological, it does not automatically mean that ALL transgender people have biology causation.
I disagree with rushing to identify pre-pubescent children as transgender. Treating prepubescent children as children as opposed to girl children or boy children isn’t going to harm them. Forcing them into a transgender identity because you or the child THINK they are transgender could cause immeasurable harm.
http://www.wsj.com/articles/paul-mchugh-transgender-surgery-isnt-the-solution-1402615120
Of children that reported transgender feelings, 70% to 80% spontaneously lost those feelings.
After sex change surgery, “their suicide mortality rose almost 20-fold above the comparable non-transgender population."
Was this 20 fold increase a result of external factors such as being rejected by family and friends or does it indicate a prevalence of mental illness associated with transgenderism?
186 psychiatrists responded to a survey regarding 584 patients with cross-gender identification.
61% of transgenders in the survey suffered from a mental illness that was NOT about being transgender. That’s far beyond statistically significant.
39% were transgender without a psychiatric issue (except possibly transgenderism itself).
75% of the transgender individuals were diagnosed as being transgender BECAUSE of a mental illness.
Other forms of biological dysmorphism are considered psychological. Why do so many reject the idea that at least some transgender people may suffer from a psychological condition?
http://press.endocrine.org/doi/full/10.1210/jcem.85.5.6564
The study found that transgenders that identified female had a certain brain feature similar to women.
The number of subjects in the study was woefully small. There were 19 “normal” men and women used as a reference. There were 22 men with some sort of gender issues, 9 homosexual men, 6 transgender (born male), 6 men with a hormone disorder and 1 guy labeled as a nontreated transgender. The “nontreated” implies that the six transgender men were taking some sort of treatment, possibly female hormones. Out of the 22 men, 12 may have had hormone issues and should have been kicked out of the study on this basis. Hormones can alter brain chemistry.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3402034/
This article found a slight connection with transgender people born male and a gene for androgen receptors.
The androgen receptor genes seemed to have a statistical correlation with transgender individuals. The other genes studied showed no correlation.
The results are SLIGHTY significant in favor of a biological cause. However, if the gene in question did cause transgenderism, one would expect a MASSIVELY significant correlation. The gene in question may promote transgenderism, but not cause it, meaning in terms of this gene it’s still a choice.
Out of 17 twins (fraternal and identical) 7 identical twins shared transgenderism. One out of 9 fraternal twins shared transgenderism.
1: The participants were not randomly selected but recruited through advertising. This is an ENORMOUS FLAW with utterly invalidates the research.
2: If almost all of these twins were raised in the same environment, this would tend to promote similar psychological outcomes. Nurture rather than nature. http://www.hawaii.edu/PCSS/biblio/articles/2010to2014/2013-transsexuality.html
I got mine, but if I was a person who only logged on every other day and missed them, I’d be ticked.
I used a signet build where I got a point of initiative back every time I used a signet, but the trait that used to allow that called “Signet Use” has been removed from the game.
So what are my options now for restoring initiative besides “roll for initiative”?
Is a signet build even viable anymore?
If you are truly a casual player, rare stuff will fall into your lap just from doing world bosses if nothing else. So, at a minimum you should eventually get rare or higher quality. Most of what you would want can be bought fairly cheaply for half a gold or less (for rares).
Exotics typically cost about 1.3 to 2 gold. They can be crafted at 400 skill which is easy to get. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you follow a guide when raising crafting skills. Crafting skill levels typically follow a pattern like this: 1 to 25 skill from refining stuff that is easy to get. 26 to 50 from crafting items. 51 to 75 from refining. 76 to 100 from crafting items. If your skill is in the range where you can raise it by refining, the only things you should be making are things made with refining or ingredients that will go into your weapons, armor, and so forth such as hilts, etc. DO NOT DISCOVER DURING THE REFINING PHASE!!! During the item crafting phases, you get the most benefit from discovering new recipes. If you make the mistake of discovering your new recipes when you could have been raising skill by refining and crafting ingredients, you may run out of discoveries during the discovery phase and end up spending a ton of money to slowly crawl through those skill levels.
I also highly recommend that you use a crafting booster while crafting to 400 or 500 and do it all in one shot so as to not waste the booster.
Ascended jewelry can be obtained through fractals and by spending laurels and guild commendations (from guild missions). Some living story achievement tracks give an ascended item.
Ascended weapons and armor can be crafted or obtained from certain chests that drop very rarely.
It’s better to have an exotic item with the right stats than an ascended item with the wrong stats for your build. Likewise it’s better to have a rare item with the right stats for your build than an exotic item with the wrong stats. By “wrong”, I mean really way off and not similar at all to what it should be.
If you let a weapon recoil all over the place (in real life), the first shot you fire can be very accurate. The recoil does not mess up the first shot as the projectile leaves the end of the barrel before the barrel can move so much as a millimeter. Not controlling the recoil means that you take longer to get the gun lined up for the next shot and possibly that you get injured by the recoil. There is a YouTube video that illustrates this with a girl firing a .50 Desert Eagle pistol. She does NOT shoot herself in the head, but merely smacks herself in the face with the end of the barrel.
Dual pistols with unload skill (#3) is the highest single target ranged damage for a thief. I use it on the Fire Elemental because if I used melee with my build I would die and if I use short bow for ranged the arrows would bounce around and I would also aggro those fire tornado things that knock me down with one shot.
I might also consider using this against a very mobile single opponent in PvP or WvW, that is if they were constantly getting outside of my melee range somehow or if melee was too dangerous (due to them standing in the middle of a booby trapped area for example).
Too much realism is a never-ending quest. You have to draw the line somewhere. Why can’t we explore areas not on the map? Why does that little 3 foot barrier stop me from climbing over into the next zone that doesn’t exist? That door I have to find the key for . . .why can’t I just whack it with my hammer until it is smashed to pieces? For that matter, why can’t I just go for a head shot (instant kill) on everything that would die instantly from a head shot? And all those stacks of Black Lion chests, why can’t I just open them with a hammer and chisel instead of hunting for keys? If they are indestructible, why don’t people make buildings out of them and stick them together with mortar? I suppose the resulting wall would not be indestructible unless you could get indestructible mortar as well.
Different games draw the line in different places. First person shooters let you trash the environment typically while massive RPG’s typically don’t.
If the party description said “speed run”, I don’t blame them for kicking.
Also, stopping to watch the cutscene pretty much says, “I’ve never been here before and I probably don’t have the gear/build to do anything but slow down the party and let them carry me instead of carrying my own weight.” or “I’ve been here before and know what I am doing, but I like to make everyone else wait.”
If you want to enjoy the cutscenes, do it with buddies in Team Speak or look them up on YouTube or clear it with the party first in chat.
I’m not sure why someone would want to, but you SHOULD be able to wear armor LIGHTER than the maximum weight you are allowed. That is, if a warrior wants to fight wearing a robe and sandals and a floppy hat, he should be able to do so.
15% of 1604.8 is 240.72. So, you would actually get 1364.1 gold (rounded) from spending 2981 gold for a loss of 1617 gold.
And I didn’t forget the 15%. Note where I mentioned “TP’s tax on selling”. I just didn’t feel like calculating it.
Lots of PvP rewards are the same way.
Some sources state that Sylvari and Dwarves (from GW1) might be immortal. That would be cool, although otherwise the idea of being a pod person doesn’t appeal to me that much. I would much prefer Dwarf to Sylvari, but as it is not a playable race in GW2, then it’s off the table. Oops, just looked up what Dwarf women look like. It’s not pretty. I think I will go with Sylvari instead and endure being a pod person. Also, that dream stuff the Sylvari does is kind of like The Matrix.
Here’s the problem with being Charr. Who is going to want to date you? Even other Charr are going to pass on dating Charr. Would you kiss a Charr on the mouth? Or anywhere else for that matter?
Norn men, being so very tall and massively built might have more luck dating, but Norn women might have limited dating options also. I’m not saying NOBODY would date a Norn woman, just that her options would be more limited than a human woman of exactly the same appearance. Height discrimination is real folks.
Regarding classes, the stealth abilities of thieves and to a certain extent mesmers seem pretty cool. However, much of what a thief does could be done by regular, normal humans, whereas magical stuff on the other hand might be much cooler to have. Shadow stepping is also very cool.
Even though I don’t enjoy playing a mesmer in GW2, I might like being one in real life, especially with portals. Also, it’s way easier to get allowed into airports, schools, etc. carrying a scepter, wand, or focus, than it is with a bow, daggers, swords, etc., so being a caster has that advantage.
Also, if GW2 became real, I think mini’s would get abused and laws would have to be passed to protect them from pervs. I mean seriously. Some of those minis are PEOPLE for crying out loud!
What would really be cool is that loud, obnoxious people in movie theaters and other places would get to annoy you a few times and then they’d be suppressed. Muahahahahahaha!!!
P.S. (Editted) Also you could block people! So worth it!
If you are heavy into WvW, you can spend them to buy WvW xp and gain levels and raise your WvW skills. Of course if you are patient you can achieve this by grinding WvW xp. I recommend Edge of the Mists for WvW xp, especially combined with a candycorn gobbler. This assumes you don’t already have all the WvW skills where you want them.
It’s your money, but if $12 is going to break the bank, you probably shouldn’t be spending it even if you had your paycheck in hand.
Transmutation charges aren’t that hard to get. I seem to recall that you get one if you explore a hometown area, like Divinity’s Reach or the Black Citadel. So, start up an alt, explore, get the charge. It’s a pain though if you want an entire set of gear.
I have only purchased one skin, which was the executioner gear and I purchased it for the sake of costume brawl toy that comes with it. I also bought some cheap gear off the TP and some vendors to help finish my 1000 skins achievement.
Buying bank slots = buying gems.
Buying gems = giving ANet real life money (for some people anyhow)
This is why your request will not happen.
By the way, if you need more storage, the most cost effective way is to create a personal guild for storage. It’s significantly cheaper to get a personal guild up to 250 slots versus getting the same amount of storage from bank tabs or increased bank stack size upgrades. Of course account bound and soulbound items can’t go there.
I have 4 storage guilds with 250 slots each. They are roughly half full. I like it that way as it makes them easier to organize when they aren’t so full.
150 shadow dye kits = 125 gems each = 18750 gems total = 2981 gold at current exchange rate.
Using the current asking prices from the TP below:
- Shadow Abyss x 5 (5 × 218 gold = 1090 gold)
- Shadow Blue Dye x 5 (5 × 27.5 gold = 137.5 gold)
- Shadow Green Dye x 1 (1 × 11.7 gold = 11.7 gold)
- Shadow Magenta Dye x 2 (2 × 10 gold = 20 gold)
- Shadow Orange Dye x 4 (4 × 8.7 gold = 34.8 gold)
- Shadow Purple Dye x 3 (3 × 12.9 gold = 38.7 gold)
- Shadow Red Dye x 4 (4 × 19.7 gold = 78.8 gold)
- Shadow Turquoise Dye x 3 (3 × 9.9 gold = 29.7 gold)
- Shadow Violet Dye x 6 (6 × 13.1 gold = 78.6 gold)
- Shadow Yellow Dye x 10 (10 × 8.5 gold = 85 gold)
Total from selling dyes = 1604.8 gold.
2981 gold minus 1604.8 gold = a 1376.2 gold loss. This is a horrible investment unless one of you knows something I don’t know. You spend almost twice as much as you get from selling the dyes.
Perhaps this is an investment for when the dyes are no longer available and presumably the price goes up. That would make sense I suppose. If the prices go higher than double what they are now (consider the TP’s “tax” on selling), profit may be possible.
I’m sure there are viable builds that use celestial gear, but I don’t use any of them. I remember the time I accidentally made some exotic celestial stuff by misclicking. I think I either salvaged them or used them in the mystic forge.
I agree that it is silly to timegate things related to celestial in light of its limited usefulness.
I think ANet has made a tactical error with possible future rebuilding of LA. They’ve introduced areas like that skyship or the royal pavillion where, if you buy a special ticket with gems, you get access to an area where all the NPC’s and crafting stations you need are conveniently in a small area. Gems can be bought with in-game gold, but also with real life money. Fixing LA means less motivation for players to buy these perma-tickets, which means less money for ANet. Conversely, players that bought these tickets might be angry if LA gets turned into the free version of what they paid extra for.
Adding a new dungeon does not require a new expansion. Saying the new expansion should have a new dungeon is like saying it should have new armor skins or weapon skins or new types of vegetation from which to harvest the same things we already have in the game. These things are cool, yes, but not automatically associated with an expansion. There probably will be new dungeons or at least new dungeon paths in the future, but as they are not REQUIRED for an expansion, I think ANet will worry first about getting this expansion out and running before adding future dungeons or dungeon paths.
Consider how much it sucks to be aiming for dungeon completion, to almost have it, then to see a new dungeon introduced.
Personally I think they should work at making the dungeon paths that nobody ever, ever does except for achievements more viable. Make them quicker or more enjoyable or up the rewards to motivate people to take the extra time to do these paths.
To all those who live solely for dungeons, sorry, but I think you will have to wait.
First you stuff them with things like rice, meat, guacamole, cheese, diced tomatoes, etc. Make a paper burrito out of the scrolls and a tome-taco out of the tomes of knowledge. I like mine toasted first.
First a qualifying statement. ANet has made it clear that no new weapon classes will be introduced with specialization. So, “fists” for hand-to-hand and throwing knives/shurikens are out of the question.
Strictly from the standpoint of realism, I might see ninja as a possible thief specialization, but not samurai. Samurai seems like more of a warrior specialization involving heavy armor. Ninja on the other hand, with it’s focus on lighter armor and stealth seems more thief-like, although Ninjas did use polearms sometimes. However, making thieves even more stealthy than they already are might unbalance WvW and PvP. A lot of what thieves already do with stealth and shadow stepping seems based on ninja legends, so what is left if you go ahead and call them ninjas? Walk through walls? The art of disguise?
A sniper (with rifle) version of the thief might be cool. Maybe one that allows you to do more damage if you snipe from stealth. Or possibly a perma-stealth option if the sniper does not attack or move. Of course they removed a perma-stealth item from WvW already, so this might not be allowed.
The “commando” forest-oriented thief, similar to a sniper in some respects might be another option. I’m not sure I like the idea of a longbow thief. The range is nice, but rangers aren’t typically the class I want to emulate. “Why can’t I be more like a ranger?” is rarely heard in GW2. And if the thief gets the very best of the ranger stuff tacked onto a thief, rangers are going to be very upset.
A thief/warrior hybridization might be possible. I suppose this may be where the samurai idea comes from, or maybe it was an option in GW1 – I don’t know. It might focus on using blunt weapons like maces or hammers for stuns. A dagger mace combination might let you first stun your opponent, then stab them for bonus damage if you hit while they are stunned. Although it doesn’t stir my imagination like the ninja option, this and the sniper options seem the most realistic to me in terms of game play.
They could go for a specialization that makes a thief tankier, but we already have guardians and warriors in the game. If you want tanky melee, play one of those.
When I shoot a rifle in real life, I often do it one-handed . . . NOT! I’ve fired rifles one-handed before, to make a shot more challenging, but it’s highly impractical. Accuracy will suffer unless you have something to prop the rifle on and take more time to line up the shot. I suppose you could view it as practice for a scenario where one arm is injured and out of commission.
From the title, “They see me postan”, I thought you were going to do a parody of Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’ Dirty”.
So, since you won’t do it, I will . . .
They see me trollin’
They hatin’
Patrolling they tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
My ALL CAPS SO LOUD
Keys I’m bangin’
They hopin’ that they gonna catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Tryin’ to catch me writin’ dirty
Let’s say I choose the specialization for my thief and I don’t like it. The play style required for the specialization is not my cup of tea or whatever. Can I take my thief back to being a regular thief or am I stuck in that specialization forever with that character?
From what I have heard, the only reason to use an extractor is if you have one of the more expensive agony infusions. It’s not practical for any other type of upgrade as the extractor costs more than the most expensive sigil/rune.
If you want to chase after AP, make sure that you do any temporary content that provides AP, such as dailies, seasonal events, etc. Those are the ones that you can never get back once they are past.
I’m not sure, but I think if you played GW1 and you link that account to your GW2 account, that you can get some AP that way. I may be wrong.
I didn’t realize that the Halloween Pails were still in the game. Thanks Lorgus!
I horded candy corn during Halloween for the candy corn gobbler and once I achieved gold status in WvW, there wasn’t much point in using it anymore. I may still use it for levelling alts in EoTM, but I don’t need the 50 or so stacks I currently have.
I don’t know if GW2 does it this way, but one way that various video games use to check for botting and macros is to look for a repetitive sequence of commands coming through with robotic precision over and over. Also, if commands are coming through far more quickly than a human being could possibly click, such as 10 mouse clicks per 1 thousandth of a second, that’s also the kind of thing that can set off alarms.
That being said, I haven’t heard of anyone getting in trouble for automating mouse clicking on stacks of luck and bags, etc. You would be doing it at your own risk. If you do it, I’d only do it in non-combat zones such as Lion’s Arch. That way if you get in trouble for it, at least you can rightfully claim that you didn’t do anything that would give you an advantage in combat. I don’t know how much information the people that enforce such policies have at their disposal. It’s possible that some automated system would detect you and punish you without a GM ever being aware of it.
Combining luck with artificing is a life saver. DO IT!
The title says it all. You can’t preview the chickenado finisher.
Apparently SAB is on its way back. I do wish it would come back and STAY back though instead of just being a temporary thing. I invested in one of those infinite continue coins and I’ve been feeling kind of cheated with regards to that. The following GW2 Wiki post discusses some things that have been mentioned by A-Net as being planned but with no specific release date or details:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Upcoming_changes_and_features
Super Adventure Box is on the list.
A little known fact about horror movies. If you ever find yourself in one, make sure you have either a flare pistol or a spear gun. Why? Because if you can hang onto it until the very end, it will surely be the weapon used to kill the monster/serial killer.
Alternatively it could be the weapon the killer takes from you and uses to kill you in an unspeakably horrifying manner, such as pinning you high up on the wall with the spear gun and then firing the flare pistol into your mouth, leaving you to dangle as a living (temporarily living anyhow) Chinese lantern.
Also, wear glasses, even if you don’t need them. Then, when things get scary, drop them and pretend like you can’t see while fumbling on the floor. The monster/bad guy will stand over you, waiting for the dramatic moment when you put them back on to kill you. Instead, you kill him with the flare pistol/spear gun while pretending to fumble for your glasses and get the last laugh . . . unless he’s in a hurry.
“So will there be a collection for collecting all of the legendaries?” – Ayrilana
No, what it means is that let’s say you want the legendary dagger “Incinerator”
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Incinerator
The precursor for Incinerator is Spark.
You would have to complete the “Incinerator Collection” which might for example include things like a bunch of different exotic daggers, some new items made up just for the collection like, “Imbued Essence of Sharpness”, which has its own quest line requiring a rare drop from Tequatl that must be heated in battle with the Fire Elemental, then quenched in the icy heart of the Claw of Jormag, etc. Once you finally finish the collection, you get a chest reward. Inside the chest is Spark, the precursor to Incinerator. That’s the way I am interpreting it.
The problem with this system of course is that if, for example, you want your thief to wield two Incinerators, you’ll have to come up with a different way to get the second one (unless it’s just the skin you want).
I’ve played the game from just a couple of months after it came out to the present. I have yet to see any precursors, I assume Sebastian’s comment about it being too easy refers to being too easy to buy them from the TP.
I am copying and pasting from the link that Ayrilana provided:
“There will be a unique collection for each of the precursors, including the existing precursors used for the legendary weapons currently in game. “You will be able to build every precursor, unlock all of them in your wardrobe and eventually unlock all of your legendaries,” Colin said, “if you are so inclined.”
Does anybody have a collection they have not finished an probably never will because it’s too ridiculously hard/expensive? I know I have several like that and I imagine the precursor collections will fall in that category. So much for being “too easy”.
So, it looks like for each precursor you “make”, you do so by completing a collection. The precursor is the reward for that completion. That means that if you want two legendary daggers for example, you can only get one by this method unless they give you a way to repeat the collection.
Farming leather from an alligator . . .
“Don’t be such a baby Mr. Alligator! The sheep didn’t mind when I farmed their wool! What are you crying about?
And, if you farm cotton by the way, it comes from a plant, not from the fur of the cotton beast, so I am not sure what you would use the shears for. Normally in the absence of mechanized equipment, you pick cotton with your bare hands.
Cotton scraps could probably be farmed from dumpsters and thrift stores.
If you could walk there with no jumping, and if it’s in range, you can shortbow to it. In the guild rush event with the spiders, there is a place where you can shortbow across a couple of gaps that are over drops that would kill you if you fell, but because a path exists, you can shortbow over the gap.
I have two main beefs with Death Blossom.
First, when I use it against an enemy zerg, I may tag 20 players, and we may wipe their entire zerg, but how many kills do I get credit for? 3 or 4 if I am lucky. I assume it is because each individual hit does so little damage that it doesn’t count for kill credit. I’m not asking for more damage. I just want to get credit for my tags like the other classes.
Secondly, the stability aspect of it is great and the ability to bleed enemies is great, BUT it comes at the cost of not being able to evade damage, so against experienced players it is typically either a death sentence or a wasted skill. If you evade in mid DB, you just lost your DB cycle until it comes around again.
P.S. Something I hate even more is people that feel compelled to copy and paste entire postings, not just the relevant parts, including every reply to that post out to infinity. Lazy kittens – making short threads into ridiculously long ones. To me it’s just a form of post bumping.
One of the videos for the new expansion showed what APPEARED to be a character wielding a water weapon on land. I suspect it is either a new skin for an old land weapon (such as a new staff skin that happens to look like a trident or spear) or it will be a new type of weapon that is used only on land. They might call it something like a “great spear” or whatever. Realistically, there is no reason that an underwater melee weapon could not be used on dry land, but there may be some game play reason not to implement it.
Don’t you know it’s not actually the Lunar New Year Festival, but the Dragon Ball Festival?
Hey, I actually like Dragon Ball. I just don’t like having to grind through it for an hour or 2 a day or how the game creates stacked teams instead of balanced ones, allows people to go afk and not get kicked, and doesn’t give win credit to people that volunteer to go to losing team (IT’S A TRICK! DON’T FALL FOR IT!)

Acquisition
Chinese version only (Can be previewed in the NA/EU version in the wardrobe but acquisition there is still unknown)
And I am not even sure that Chinese players get it from envelopes. They may have to buy it at gem store. Or, it may not be in the game yet for any players. I would think I would have seen some by now if Chinese players already had them.
If there was a chance at this mini, I might be tempted to keep losing money on the envelopes.
Incidentally, I have my magic find maxed, so my failure to return a profit is probably not because of magic find. I typically get my MF up to 540% before opening envelopes, although some posts seem to indicate that it is only account-wide MF that counts.
A-Net is playing the long game in terms of achievements. In my opinion, they want some of the radiant/inferno rewards or whatever comes after them to be something that keeps people in the game for years. So, even though they COULD put a lot more achievements in the game, they don’t want them to go by so fast that achievement chasing players stop playing because the players feel they have “won the game”.
