That option drives me nuts sometimes.
On the bright side, crafting bags, oil bags, invis bags, and other special bags are immune to “Compact.” So if you replace every regular bag with a special one, the only bag that’ll mess up when you hit Compact will be your backpack.
Not a perfect solution, but it’s a workaround, at least.
what features were taken out of core and moved to hot?
Ones I’ve noticed missing unless you own the xpac: guild buffs (the magic find, gathering, etc. ones; even if your guild re-unlocks them, non-xpac players can’t use them, even though they had access to them before the xpac), guild wvw buffs (+5 supplies, stat boosts while in a claimed objective), guild siege, 2nd and 3rd tiers of guild storage if you didn’t already have it unlocked before the xpac, guild banners.
I’m told guild banquet, guild world boss events, and vault transport were moved to the xpac, too.
And something about fractal rewards that used to be there before xpac, but are only given to xpac players now. I don’t really know the specifics about that, though; just that there were a lot of complaints about it right after the xpac launched.
Should remove nodes altogether. If you want to mine, chop trees or pick flowers go to pve
Eh, I disagree. I’d really like to not be required to pve to get mats for making wvw food, gear, and upgrading the guild halls (though, still have to pve for the latter anyway. T_T)
I’d love for it to be removed, too. Would love for map reading to still be a useful skill in wvw; this addition trivializes it.
- Describe a typical hour for you in the Alpine Borderlands in the past. For example, What size of group were you running in? What kind of tasks did you run? What activities did you do?
Sometimes ran solo, sometimes as a small group (2-3, usually, sometimes a little bigger), and sometimes with my guild during raid (15-ish). When alone or as a small group, we’d snipe yaks, tail enemy zergs and call their locations while picking off their tail, flip camps, pick fights with the people upgrading, contest wps, gank people checking on wps getting hit, camp the north camp and kill people coming to flip it back. We’d also sometimes poke towers and keeps with trebs or catas to pick a fight.
As a 15-man, we’d look for where the enemy zergs most likely were and pick a fight with them.
- Compare your experience described above with a typical hour spent in Eternal Battlegrounds, if you went there at all. Does your style of play change between the 2 maps?
I hate EB since it’s always been either a zerg or nothing at all. Even the enemy “roaming groups” were 10-ish people. So if I was on that map, it was usually because my guild was there trying to pick a fight with the zerg. If I was alone, I was contesting wps for our zerg while the BLs were dead, running around the towers ordering upgrades, or walking yaks.
- Compare your experiences described above with an hour spent in the new borderlands.
Either dooring with the zerg or running around solo or in a small group looking for a fight and never getting one. Those maps are dead and aren’t particularly friendly to non-zergs anyway.
- Describe the nature of combat in the borderlands in the past. How have the new borderlands impacted this paradigm for you? What style or build changes might it cause? For example, knocking people off cliffs or into lava might play a more important role.
Previously, you had chokes and open areas where you could choose to engage in. It worked great regardless of your group size because you could always push for the fight being where you could actually fight it. If you didn’t want to fight on a bridge, you just didn’t cross the bridge. You went around and forced the fight elsewhere. If another group tried to come up behind you and aj, you could reposition to either run or reengage in a more fair fight.
Now, on the rare occasion there is a fight, it’s just a boring choke fight. Not really any options on how to engage.
- In your experience, compare the time it takes take a structure or objective here, then it did in the past.
Previously, roughly 5-10 minutes to solo build siege, break a wall, and take a tower. Slightly shorter for 2 people. Longer to take a keep, of course, from having to break two walls. But didn’t take too long because if I was alone, I could just guild cata it and only have to run back for supplies once. As two or three people, we wouldn’t need to run back for supplies at all.
Now, I think about how I’d have to run back for supplies 3 times vs just 1 (or 1 vs 0 if I have a friend), and how + 5 is gated behind a huge amount of pve grind, and how towers could just auto-upgrade while I’m running supplies to hit them, and how it only takes one person to get in the tower to stop us because cannons are such an early auto-upgrade, and how everything’s always t2+ thanks to the auto-upgrade, and don’t even bother because it’d take too long. Those barricades everywhere aren’t helping, either.
- How is the loot and wxp for you compared to in the past? Will it be able to sustain whatever you are doing? Did it take a hit, or was it improved? If you are planning to unlock an elite specialization, do you think you were helped or hurt in these regards? Do you think you could pursue any other in-game goals just by playing WvW?
Running around an empty map taking nothing but camps doesn’t make anything. There’s nothing to do. All my old roles are gone now—I don’t need to scout; the sentries do it for me. I don’t need to snipe or escort yaks, everything auto-upgrades anyway. There’s no one running around upgrading the objectives on the maps, so there’s no one to fight while roaming.
Hell, I made more when I had to buy upgrades because at least then there were people to fight trying to stop me, so I got loot bags from them.
As for pursuing other in-game goals while playing wvw, there’s guild missions. But that’s about it. No flax, no sand, no shovels, no ley line sparks, and some of that other crap we need to upgrade guild halls makes it a little hard to get our hall up to a rank where we can claim anything and actually gasp have a +5 without spending all our time in pveland. But I guess Anet just wanted to keep claiming that all wvw’ers are just pvers anyway.
I wasn’t surprised by any of this, though. When Anet said that they’d heard the roamers, scouts, and sentries complaining about kitten loot for such an important role and wanted to do something about it, I figured Anet meant that they’d nerf the importance of the role rather than address the pay. And that’s exactly the route they went.
I do really like the new gathering nodes, though. Finally, we have access to most of the old ingredients. Now we just need access to the new ingredients, toxic spores, and quartz.
- How will the map change impact the long sessions (multiple hours) you spend in WvW?
Used to spend nearly every hour I was in-game in wvw. Back then, I didn’t need to pve to get what I needed in wvw, outside of certain gear appearances and food ingredients. Now, I pop my head in long enough to see if the map looks dead then leave. If I’m there for guild missions, I stay longer. But it’s usually pretty dead when doing them, so I leave afterwards. Nothing else to do.
Besides, those shovels and sparks and guild ranks towards +5 aren’t going to farm themselves . . .
- In 100 words or less, describe how the new BLs could be improved.
Revert back to the old map, get rid of auto-upgrades, get rid of automatically having wps. At the VERY least, require yaks to reach the objective, and require a player to actively select the upgrade to implement it before it begins building, even if the cost of the upgrade is removed. Making it easier for people to just camp in towers all day doesn’t promote a healthy pvp format.
And, this shouldn’t need to be said, but less pve and NO automated turrets. WvW is still a pvp format; make people actually have to fight people. That crap shouldn’t be an easily available crutch at every single point on the map, especially open field.
The parts that were changed weren’t the parts that were broken.
- In 100 words or less, describe how the borderlands work to a new WvW player.
Don’t bother; just go to EB.
- In 100 words or less, describe how the borderlands work to a veteran WvW player that is new to the maps.
Don’t bother; just go to EB. Or hell, eotm. At least there are people there who aren’t in the zerg. Granted, they’re uplevels trying to reach their zerg and rarely fight back, so it’s not a particularly engaging fight, but it’s better than nothing.
- Which map am I most likely to find you currently, if you’re on Gw2?
Silverwastes or Tangled something-or-other, because need that kitten to upgrade guild halls, and wvw deader than before the xpac.

In the water, your water head piece replaces your helmet, so yeah, you need the rune in it, too. And afaik, it’s always worked that way. Definitely has for as long as I’ve had travelers runes (which is over a year now, I think.)
What’s wrong, Vikkela? Not a good enough player to win a fight without using siege and humping your door? Taking it out on duelers?
Lots of people in this thread who sound like they’re still bitter over getting killed by better players and are now digging for excuses to avoid a fair fight. Tichai, especially. XD
Dat thread necro.
Ah, well, since things like this still come up frequently, I’d like to make a request of people like the topic creator who use “2. If your keep is about to be taken, spare a couple minutes to defend it” as an argument.
If you’re going to be the type of coward who fires siege at an even numbered fight, then at the very least, don’t be a hypocrite like the topic creator. Don’t pretend to care about your keep when you obviously don’t. If the keep’s under attack and you actually care, what on earth are you doing to help out by adding on to an irrelevant 1v1 on the side instead of doing something about the threat hitting your gates? Don’t harass the duelers on your server while pretending to have the moral high ground, lol.
Aside from that, could not agree more with gennyt. <3

Hopefully they can tie to AP somehow….
Earn X achievement for Y finisher in Z game mode.
EG for WvW: Yakslapper – Yaks trample you
Eg for Eotm: I don’t know eotm, but I’m sure there are AP that can only be earned there. So have a finisher for those achievements.
i’d rather it be by rank. eotm withstanding it still take alot to get gold, platinum, mithril, and diamond.. if you can get diamond finisher you da best
Then maybe a combination of those? I’d like if the achievements give the actual finisher, and the rank just changes its color palette.
(edited by Nyta.4769)
2500 is way enough.
It really depends how you play : if you play often with a big zerk, killing yaks is really hard (they die in 0.25 seconds, only ppl at the head of the zerg can get credits for the kill) and there are no Yaks in EotM.
Then, quite frankly, you shouldn’t get it. It should be a title for roamers, not blobbers. You shouldn’t be able to get all the rewards for doing the most braindead part of wvw.
(edited by Nyta.4769)
Glad to hear the achievement requirements are getting reduced to something actually attainable, but, really 2500? Really hope they left a 0 off that. 2500 is so low, lol. I think the pvers in this thread are forgetting that pve regularly gets more achievements added. WvW doesn’t. That’s why the pve achievements are so quick to get. WvW ones should take much longer than pve achievements (and really, should give way more AP than they do) . . . just not “1 million yaks” long lol.
Every class has some way to finish without getting knocked out of it: stealth, stab, invuln, reflects, blinds.
So what’s so special about stealth finish that makes people whine about it over the other options?
Or they could let the siege lock have the old range, and the invuln have the new range, instead of sharing the same area for whatever reason. Otherwise, with the current boundaries, even if the lock stopped you from building it, you could still place the treb for nwt on the middle of the lower level, which is out of range of most aoes, including Meteor Shower. Not sure if it’s out of range of Dragon’s Tooth, though.
All you have to do is stand just past the invuln range and throw the build site in.
A long time ago, Anet fixed this by making it impossible to place the siege in invuln, even if you were out of it. I don’t know exactly when or why they reverted that, but it was a while ago, sadly. T_T
It means you can’t place siege while you have the buff, but you can still build it. As you can see, I have the lock icon (as well as invuln) on my character, but that treb is still very much built.
Correct. It’s the same zone.
This is a known bug. It’s been around for a long time. It happens with phase retreat, certain blink/gap closing skills, or some other skills in certain places. It’s very hard to replicate and usually just happens by accident. Honorable people will just jump back out.
Ah, if you can get into that gate the same way that you used to be able to get into the south gate (and judging from that SS, that seems to be the case), it’s actually very easy to replicate, and you don’t need any of the skills you named, or even any similar skills, to do it.
You can place a treb to hit/defend NWT much further back now, making it significantly harder to reach for most classes. Previously, the invuln spot it was usually placed on was on the stairs, which any ranged class could hit. It doesn’t need to be placed there anymore. You can now easily place it out of range of even Meteor Shower.
NET can be defended with siege on that middle ledge as you jump down from spawn. I think you might even be able to defend it with a treb from the spawn cliffs before jumping down, but I haven’t gotten to testing that one yet. (Don’t know if it might overshoot.)
Edit: Can someone who’s red this week check to see if the spawn treb that defends Mendons can still be placed/maybe even placed further back? lol That one was already a pain to counter.
Edit: Messed around with some treb placements. You can in fact now defend NET with a treb from the spawn cliffs. You can even hit the space between the bridges where people normally place catas. I took a few screenshots showing some possible new treb placements.
Can defend NET gate from spawn cliffs:
http://i.imgur.com/2KikY3r.jpg
Same treb can defend NET from a cata attack between the bridges:
http://i.imgur.com/PCJ1rlT.jpg
(Treb on the right is better for it, but I didn’t feel like taking that many screenshots, lol. You can also defend from a south wall attack, but mortars at garrison can do that, too.)
Spawn treb can defend NWT from much deeper into spawn:
http://i.imgur.com/CfsqJG2.jpg
(Depending on the exact placement of point blank catas on the north and south sides, if the catas don’t bubble the treb shots, this treb can hit those, too.)
You can possibly even build a treb in spawn that can counter the long range trebs built to hit NWT:
http://i.imgur.com/AKaJUSi.jpg
(edited by Nyta.4769)
Also means that you’ll see reds build more siege in places you can’t reach. Sounds like a bad thing to me.
Ditto for me. :/ I still seem to have the AP from it, though.
For what it’s worth, I just salvaged 19 rares and got 27 ecto. (Which proves nothing, except that my drop rate for a short period was outstanding and that I am expecting a long bleak streak to match it.)
Pretty much been my experience since the update, too. I was wondering if the ecto salvage rates went up. :x I’ve been averaging well over an ecto per rare using a mystic salvage kit since the update.
So . . . Has anyone managed to find him? :x
I miss “By Ogden’s Hammer! What savings!” T_T
Jaymee, if it makes you feel better, I’ve thrown in I don’t know how many thousands of weapons into the MF, never gotten a precursor from it or as a drop, have 300% MF from luck and have had that for I think about a year now, and have over 10k hours in the game.
And I did that old karka event on an 80 and got two kittenty exotics from it.
Still sitting at 0 precursors earned. Only one I’ve gotten, I bought. lol
My guildies at half my MF ping their drops to me to teasingly rub it in that RNGesus likes them more than me. XD They get more rares and exotics than I do.
Make Mawdrey and feed her the dust. Don’t think you can still get the star that you can feed the empyreal stuff to, though.
Just a heads up, it isn’t happening only in WvW anymore. I went to Sparkfly today around 9 p.m. server time and the same bugs were happening there, lots of people reporting in map chat.
Fireheart Rise had the bug a few days ago, too. I was gathering before the wvw reset, all the gathering nodes on the mini-map and in sight range vanished, and I was randomly teleported to the SE corner of the map in an infinite fall animation. While I was typing up an in-game bug report about it, another person was teleported there as well.
WvW has been a lot less fun to me ever since they nerfed stability, so I just go there to increase the WvW achievements now. I do not care if I waste thousands of supplies on walls who get trebbed
Wonder if Anet bans/suspends accounts that openly admit to supply griefing on the forums. Or if they still require video of it.
Are you trying to ask what do you get when you win? It’s one bonus chest per rank up depending on what position you placed. (3 if you’re first, 2 if second, 1 if third.) It’s a kittenty reward that people have been complaining about for a long time, so not sure what you mean when you say that the “general people of the world always said that you benefit.”
There are other bonuses you get throughout the week of that match based on your server’s score itself, but not whether you’re winning. They’re listed under “Your World’s Bonuses” in the wvw tab.
This bug’s actually existed ever since loot bags were able to teleport you around when they spawned on you. So for about 2 years now? It was definitely over a year ago when I accidentally glitched into inner standing in that spot just trying to see if there was any siege behind the gate, and got teleported up by a loot bag on my feet.
No idea why it only now became popular.
Would prefer that be a wvw trait you have to put points into, though.
Interesting. Good to know. I wonder where the best place is for the WoR. Right on the siege or in front of it? In order to prevent the disable, I mean.
Place it where the disabler will land. The disabler itself is a projectile, not the effect. If you place the reflect/absorb on top of the siege, but the disabler is thrown a little bit away from the siege (but with the siege still in its effect circle), then the disable will go through.
Omega shots and disablers are projectiles and can be blocked by anything that blocks a projectile. I’ve had my disablers blocked by guardians and eles. And even blocked by aegis.
Wall of Reflection, Feedback, and Smoke Screen are all great responses to omega shots. Easy way to protect your defensive siege from an omega’s shots is to place either a WoR or Smoke Screen in front of the siege so the omega can’t hit it. Or, of course, drop a Feedback on top of the omega.
Ballista bolts are not projectiles.
Once in a blue moon, mesmer focus phantasm will block cata shots. Probably a bug, though, since player skills aren’t supposed to block cata or treb shots.
First one you can do legitimately with an ele + mesmer (or at least, used to. Been a long time since I’ve gotten on top of those things, so not sure if any invis walls were added.) Not sure how the second one’s done; never tried to get on top of the portals before. lol
Steam ogre was dead before fire elemental even spawned on my screen. Yeah, pretty bad for me, as well. lol
Someone in-game mentioned it might be a routing issue, so I ran the diagnostic (adding -diag to the shortcut target), and it gave me these results in the two trace route tests (omitted first 8 steps because those looked fine):

Curious if the other people with heavy lag issues are also getting routed through telia, and if the people who don’t have the problems, aren’t. If some others wouldn’t mind running -diag to check.

Nothing for roamers to tap, don’t want to cap empty towers because I don’t care who wins the week. Capping camps with NOBODY showing up to defend since they have no clue it’s being taken. Who honestly thought this was a good idea?
Pretty much exactly how my roaming group feels about it. Before this update, we used to hit towers with a paper cata or treb from a long range to make sure white swords would appear for as long as possible, in order to pick a fight, and to make sure they can’t just run right back into the tower when their health drops low. Almost no one would fight us otherwise, unless they had a severe number advantage or a gate 5 steps behind them to nuthug.
Now, we lost that way of picking a fight; no one shows up. Running from objective to objective capping things turns up nothing. And it seems that’s the experience that other roamers on the opposing servers are getting, too: everything of ours that gets hit is almost always by a large group. Previously, there’d be small parties hitting towers and flipping camps fairly frequently. Seems those smaller groups merged with their zergs out of boredom, too.
We call out enemy movements, but commanders don’t care. Everyone’s just treating it like eotm, letting everything flip so they can take it back later. A plea to people to fight for the sake and fun of fighting just gets “We can take it back later,” or complete silence while the zerg sits in the keep or at spawn waiting for our towers to be lost. It’s boring. :/ This update took the pvp out of wvw.
Was it the north west camp on a borderland? That one gets that bug most frequently. I, and I’m sure many others, reported it way back during the beta, and it’s never been fixed.
Towers (NE one on the borderlands especially), keeps (all), and SMC have the same problem. It’s very frequent in my experience with keeps and SMC.
Moment of the night: Commander turns corner at NW switchback to push a group and instantly drops dead from glitchy fall damage.
GG mags GC eles now control cliffs.
Beware those gentle inclines <3
Eh, honestly, I wasn’t commanding the first two times we sent golems over. The last time, I didn’t even plan it, couple guys just showed up with a couple of omegas and I was like lulwut.
Your hills was sieged up more than Fort Knox. Holy moly it was a challenge getting in.
Also, we had 3* catas and 1* superior AC firing at Lake while we had 1 treb and no cannon on Ascent ruin (this is when I was commanding, not sure about others). The AC went down almost instantly from your treb and was more of a counter against your AC in Lake, but I put it too far back. Ah well.
We had around 15-20 people in teamspeak with a bunch of random pugs joining on the tag then wandering off all night. Probably should’ve went tagless – would’ve made it more fun.
I forgot about the omegas that arrived when Hills finally fell (I wasn’t there for most of the final Hills defense; I was at your garrison keeping the wp contested.) That would make it at least 4 times then.
Each time Lake was cata’d from across the bridge to SE ruins, there were 4 sup catas and two ACs. When it was cata’d from the western field, I’m not sure how many were placed; wasn’t paying close attention to it. A small group of SOS had built an open field AC just south across the road that they were firing on us, so another thief and I had gone to deal with that instead so the rest of our group could fight you and deal with your catas without being under AC fire.
The first time Lake was trebbed from SE ruins during our run, the cannon was built, along with multiple ACs. The cannon hit us several times while climbing the stairs, so we know it was there. The last time it was trebbed from there, no idea. We were in EB defending OL from omegas. We were told about the treb, but wp’d keep trumps t3 tower. :/
As for the siege in Hills, we had a bunch of ACs and trebs left over from those who’d defended Hills before we got on, but your people took most of it out the first time you broke outer. After that, we defended it mostly with cannons and mortars and focused on rebuilding those each time they were taken out afterwards. <3 We’d built a few ACs and a treb over the course of our run, but most of the siege fire came from natural siege, not placed. Some of the people running with us were amazing shots with mortars.
All that time we were poking at you guys to come fight open field. I wasn’t interested in taking your tower or keep at all, or else you would’ve seen a golem rush. Unfortunately, all you guys ever did was run to your tower and fight under arrowcarts. At least Ark had the balls to face us open field
You guys hit Hills with omega golems at least three times while we were defending it, so not sure why you think you never used them.
KH also fought you open field several times, both without siege on either side (the fights in the south ruins, Briar, and NE camp), and under your siege (couple fights at Lake where you were firing a few sup acs and four sup catas on us instead of the tower. Then again with the treb on SE ruin, guarded by sup acs and the ruins cannon.)
We only had 7-12 people on last night, plus about 5-15 green tags. Against your 50 people while also trying to defend EB against another 50+. So, not sure what you were expecting, but we gave it a shot. <3
Had to ultimately give up Lake, though, since OL was getting hit at the same time. Then had to rush back to try to save Hills, but just couldn’t hold it.
But we came to Mag to be outnumbered, so meh. <3 Win or lose, the fights were fun. <3
Retiring after long night in BG bl
May the SEA/OCX be merciful to us
KH who took over for you were not as good as you guys. It was fantastic fighting you Ark. All the comments in TS were of how fun those fights near your tower were. I was starting to poke at your stuff just to get you guys to show up so we could start a fight again
. Hopefully I’ll meet up with more of you guys for a nice fight again. Just… not under arrow carts please
.
Also, we took your WP’d hills and T3 lake shortly after you guys left the map. KH kept running away from fights so we got fed up and just rolled over them.
KH held Lake and Hills for about 4-ish hours after Ark stopped running for the night. Kinda a loose definition of “shortly.”
<3
T_T The t1 servers keep getting each other to themselves. Anet, let TC in on the fun; let us face two of them. Two weeks in a row of total blowouts. This will probably be another one. These weeks just aren’t fun since we have too much coverage for this matchup. So we’re often stuck doing pve objectives for wxp since there’s nothing else to do.
I’d rather get stomped than be the one doing the stomping. :/
In other news, SOS, Mag, are either of you lagging horribly on SOSBL? I can barely get a skill off, and when I do, it’s like I have perma old quickness.
Bumping into a friendly FA guardian recently reminded me that not once, ever, has any FA invited me to a party to trash talk me. Every single time, it’s been for a friendly chat (even if we beat each other up a few times while talking, seeing as I was escorting yaks that the guardian wanted dead ).
Thank you, FA, for most of your players being classy. It’s always a pleasure to fight you.
Sad that our side repays that through exploiting a glitch to steal one of your keeps. T_T
I sincerely hope that your server gets more guilds and better coverage so that we can return to being competitive with each other. <3
I was with Helly for those North camp fights, and as soon as the camp would go contested, 20 to 30 TC would show up to try to keep the camp. It was actually quite impressive how dedicated you guys were to keeping that camp.
I did, however, hear after one of our attempts at north camp that we ended up causing you guys to lose garrison, and, according to an unnamed source on TC, had a commander put a bounty on our roaming group. If that part about the bounty is true, it brings a smile to my face. However, if fun fights at north camp causes bounties, I welcome them, because those were some of the best fights I’ve had so far this matchup.
So that’s how we lost our garri? XD I was on FABL at the time and was wondering how on earth we lost it. Especially since I think TCBL had a guild group on the map at the time, and I don’t think a call out for reinforcements was ever sent to the other maps.
Massive props to the groups involved in resetting our garrison, both for creating that opening, and knowing how to take advantage of it. That’s something that I hope our side becomes better at doing.
Shocks me, though. Each time I’m ever on TCBL and send a call out for help at the north camp, I’m lucky if anyone shows up at all.
Bounties sound exciting. I can’t confirm if one was placed on your group since I wasn’t there, but as far as small FA groups go, there’s usually a call out in team chat when Corp’s on the map, and used to be one with AoN when they played more.
I’m curious, have there ever been any bounties placed on any of our roaming groups? Had to wonder after a couple days ago, when our group kept getting chased out/run over by one of your main zergs everywhere we went. Even chased us all the way from your north camp to the lake.
Enjoyable fights tonight on TCBL against TC and KN. TC you guys defended that north camp like it was garrison (better actually when I glanced at the map =P)
I—wait, what? We defend our north camp like it’s garrison? And this is coming from someone in FA?
He he, <3. We’ve often joked that the best way to take your garri is to hit your north camp with the main zerg while another group sneaks into garrison since your server’s so good at noticing when that camp is about to get hit. Some of our commanders attack it because even if we can’t win, it’ll be a fun fight because your side fights tooth and nail to defend it, and even many of your militia seem to understand the importance of contesting the circle.
The fact that the servers we faced the last two weeks didn’t really pay attention to that camp or contest it, even if they had people there, was one one of the reasons I felt that our little havoc group was going to go soft if we didn’t face your server again soon.
I was at NE tower earlier – I can assure you the said ranger you’re referring to was not hacking. Maybe if you ask nicely they’ll share with you how to do it
Also, that was me who cleared your ac’s behind the gate and on the wall, ty!
Do you run a 3 monitor setup in windowed mode?
And no, I’m the ranger you guys are talking about, and I only have one monitor. No room on my desk for any more. XD
lol, that wasn’t a zoom hack at NE tower, and it wasn’t window mode. I did it with standard screen size. XD
Build an AC where you saw me, put a person with at least AC4 mastery on it, and take a look at how much of that plateau that person can hit. You’d be surprised. Hitting your treb was tricky, though. There was only one spot I could put that reticle and manage to hit it. Either it was very well-placed, or our AC wasn’t as well-placed as we would have liked.
FA! Missed you soooo much. T_T Our little havoc group had been talking for the last two weeks about how soft we were going to get not facing you. CD and SOS had some pretty amazing small groups, but we didn’t bump into them often. And SOR . . . well, they have amazing zergs, but their roamers . . .
Tonight, your server’s small groups slammed in my face the fact that I’ve gotten horribly sloppy. <3
Relying on your roamers to keep me in shape, FA. <3
I for one am happy this match up is coming to a close. All of this tripe about pity for and denigration of other servers has made me ill. Here’s hoping for a better match up with better attitudes this week.
Hello, sir. Please tell your WvW ranger that [Fear] and [TKVA] /salute him. Seriously, this guy has skills. We appreciate a good fight and this guy brought it.
I-is that Billy Bo Baddie?
</3 Eury. So mean, calling me that. sniff
Tee hee <3
I don’t know if Jakob means me or not. NOPE has at least 5 rangers off the top of my head who wvw regularly. But we all appreciate the compliment. <3
