Ya, so it’s not a big loss for us wvwers.

iirc, his goal with that event was to show Anet that wvw could be given regular attention and have things shaken up now and then through the form of special events that didn’t require heavy developer commitment. The, er, exact details of that particular event weren’t the best, but his heart was in the right place.

Thank you so much for creating such a sexy outfit like Braham’s outfit is. I had to immediately buy it for both of my accounts, and I am sure at least 70% of male oriented playerbase feels the same way. Thank you for creating an outfit that has wide shoulders, thin waist, and oh-so-sexy chest…

I’ll be voting no to adding them permanently. They’re toxic for fights and make ballistas irrelevant. However, I would be happy if they change the anti-siege shot on the ballista to be a cannon shot (including cd and ground target) that only hurts siege.

I’m not happy that 1 of the 3 rewards was a guaranteed ToT bag. I don’t want to sound greedy but… really?

Pretty much how I feel. Before, during festivals, the seasonal drop was the fourth reward. And now it replaces a reward. I’d rather have a booster.

The very least they could have done was to make it a personalized ToT bag. :/

The final reward for the Halloween track is the pail. It’s a nice reward for anyone who doesn’t have full 20 slot bags, but for those of us who do, could the reward track be modified for next year to give us an option between the pail and some personalized ToT bags?

I use mouse keys for repetitive actions like that. I type something in the inventory filter (e.g. ‘bag’) and press the [+] key until there are no more bags or the inventory is full; rinse and repeat.

^^^^ Thissssss. Shift + Alt + Num Lock turns on Mouse Keys. Especially great if you’re the type to wait until later to open all your boxes at once. It gives your number pad some control over your mouse cursor. + is a double click, 5 is a single click.

Enemy Pronunciation Relevance

I wonder if ‘wivern’/‘with-urn’ is the American pronunciation. Kind of like ta-may-to vs. to-mar-to or semi-truck vs. lorry.

Alternatively I can’t help thinking of the two pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean: “It’s a mythological creature, I can calls it what I like!”

I’m an American, and no, no one I’ve met pronounces it “wih-vern”. Everyone says “why-vern.”

Another one in game that drives me nuts is how they pronounce “golem” as “gah-lem” instead of “goh-lem”.

Back before the game launched, Anet released some of the ambient conversation snippets around Divinity’s Reach where the NPCs pronounced “seraph” as “sir-RAPH.” The backlash over that pronunciation on GW2Guru was so big, the admins were mass deleting posts that complained about it. Anet’s response to it was basically your third sentence, but it seems that they did go back and redo some/most of the voice work so they pronounce it correctly.

No reason to think it has to add clutter. I can think of a couple ways for Anet to do it without introducing clutter. One is to add “WvW Rank” to the Titles drop down menu, and it could list your rank under your name as your title. No more cluttery than any other title.

Another option could be to give your character portrait a border like the NPC borders. Vanilla ranks get no border, bronze ranks get a Veteran border, silver get an Elite border, gold get Champion, platinum could get some fancier version of the silver border, maybe mithril could get a gray, simplified version of the legendary border, and diamond could get a diamond-y version of it. It would require someone to click on you to see your rank, but it would still be a way to show it outside of wvw.

The only ridiculous one is you. You are the one ignoring the polls that the community voted on. I know its hard to believe, but your parents lied to you growing up. You aren’t always right. People can, and do, disagree with you (as evidenced by at least 3 polls regarding DBL). But its ok. Life will go on.

Anet dangled a carrot over the option to keep desert borderlands: we’d be more likely to get more wvw maps if desert was voted to stay AND simultaneous won.

You really can’t make any claim about how many people wanted to keep the borderland for its own merits considering Anet was incentivizing those options being chosen.

All it really proves is that the wvw players do in fact want more map variety. But remember, double alpine beat double desert, EB queues skyrocketed when desert was in and alpine out, and the desert borderlands were, well, deserts because no one liked the map.

Also, the Wildcreek and Rogue’s Quarry changes were deliberate.

Could we ask why? The highest population server in the match has the highest chance of being green, and green already had the strongest third in EB. Green gets pressured the least because of that. Depending on the type of attack, green can defend all four towers from their keep.

To compare green to red, since red’s most likely to be the lowest population server:

While green can reach every tower from the keep, red can’t reach Mendons, an inner tower, with theirs.

The changes to WC would put it about on par with red’s OGW . . . except with WC having a huge added advantage of being easily defended now from SMC, which as has already been pointed out is most likely to be owned by green.

Green’s weakest tower now is probably Klovan. Red’s closest equivalent is Anz. Both can be defended from a ram attack with a keep mortar, but red’s mortar can easily be destroyed in advance with two people and a ballista from the vista hill. Green’s mortar needs a treb to take it out. Both are most vulnerable to a cata attack, but green can defend against it from Jerrifer (or at least force the attacking side to set up a bubble rotation, which can be difficult to maintain if green has ground forces fighting, too. Which is fairly likely to be the case since, again, the higher population server is most likely to be green.) None of red’s towers can help support defending Anz.

And Anz isn’t even red’s weakest tower. Mendons is. Even though, again, it’s an inner tower.

Blue doesn’t really have it any better than red, either. Being most likely to be second place in ranking, blue is most the most likely color to get double teamed. From green to secure first place, and from red playing for second. And yet blue can’t defend either outer tower from their keep or another tower. Bravost and Langor aren’t terrible . . . but they aren’t on par with Veloka, Jerrifer, or Aldons, either.

tl;dr: So can WC be given its weakness back? Green’s third really doesn’t need to be any stronger.

The 20 local decoration limit has driven me crazy so many times when decorating. It’s so hard to make a decently decorated room.

Have you tried building your maze with SAB walls instead of hedges? They’re considerably longer, so you can probably build more of your maze before hitting the cap than you would with hedges. They’re also taller, so it’s a little harder to cheat the maze by changing the camera angle.

On one hand, I kind of like it, since that kind of pve can incentivize groups to fight each other. On the other, Anet’s kind of dabbled a little in this already, with the vet mob events on the bls and the four champions in EB. But outside of the rare occasion when people pick a fight with the grub or the tree, fights don’t usually happen around them. Though that’s probably just because the rewards are garbage, and most of them die too fast for another group to respond to it anyway.

I miss the old three-way fights on top of the grub, and all the panic and laughter in TS as groups try not to wipe to it during the mess. ;-;

Why on earth would a wvwer sit on that many loading screens to craft what we need for wvw when we could just do it in one short one that still allows us to see call outs?

Mind walking us through how many loading screens you sit through to craft?

…Do you really need that much handholding for simple math?

I’m am confused. What does putting crafting into guild halls accomplish? Why can’t people just craft in the cities? Why is this a problem? WvW is not for crafting, it is for WvW.

This is like complaining that you can’t drop an AC in Orr.

The problem according to Anet is that pvers were taking up queue spots (again, apparently only in t1) crafting. The reason pvers use them is that they can return to where they were in pve afterwards. Also, wvw loads faster than the cities, so it’s less downtime, too.

Adding stations to guild halls and/or hotm would also give them that convenience while also addressing the issue with queues, and without inconveniencing those of us who used the wvw stations to craft what we need on a map where we could see call outs.

This has been explained so many times already. I’m not sure why this is such a hard concept to grasp.

So go craft before or after you decide to go into WvW so you don’t have to back out in the middle of your WvW session? Like seriously who is playing WvW and randomly gets struck from behind by a crafting-bug and goes “oh I really need to craft right now, but oh no the queue!” Its called preparedness, you should have things like your gear and food ready to go when you are in WvW and you should already be doing this, especially after 4 years. . . .

Why on earth would a wvwer sit on that many loading screens to craft what we need for wvw when we could just do it in one short one that still allows us to see call outs?

Chuu, I’d have thought you of all people would understand that much.

In any case, this is just an example of Anet treating a symptom, not a cause. If pvers were creating a problem in the queues by crafting there (a problem that I’m assuming only happens in t1 anyway, since I’m in t2 and rarely see queues in the home bl), then obviously the real problem is that crafting stations aren’t accessible enough for them. Adding the stations to HotM and/or guild halls while keeping them in the borderlands would address their issue without creating queues and without inconveniencing the wvwers who want to use the borderlands crafting stations, too. Adding them back to all the borderlands maps like they were during the BWEs would spread out the people using them, lessening the issue, too.

I really don’t understand why people defend Anet’s decision when there are much better solutions that don’t inconvenience anyone.

I’m sorry, how was the gift of battle acquired prior to adding reward tracks? I can’t seem to find it under it’s acquisition

To put it more clearly … when I was playing with my first guild at release … was there an alternative way to acquire the gift of battle prior to reward tracks?

Once they removed the map completion requirement, the only wvw stuff you needed to make a legendary were the badges and rank to buy the gift, neither of which required actually doing wvw. Badges were available through achievement chests, and wxp through laurels or karma. The ability to buy wxp with laurels was eventually removed, though. After HoT, you could also buy wxp with guild commendations and HoT currencies. So after the map completion requirement was removed, all you really needed to enter wvw for to get a legendary was to walk up to the npc and buy it, and potentially to buy the wxp from the laurel merchant.

So if I didn’t mess the math up, if you wanted to get your first wvw gift when wxp was buyable with laurels, you only needed 20 laurels and 3k AP (to cover the 500 badges for the gift + 500 badges for enough wxp to hit rank 14). I’d imagine that most players who wanted a legendary would have met that requirement by the time they finished grinding everything else they needed to craft it. Roughly every 1500 AP after that would give enough badges to buy another gift.

Little harder to do the math for the other methods of buying wxp since the Box of WvW Supplies apparently gives a random liquid wxp bottle, but I’ve always gotten a thimble from it. One box costs one guild commendation or 5k karma or 25 of some HoT map currency. If 2500 wxp really is the average, though, then it’d take ~20 boxes to get rank 14.

But yeah, that’s probably why they changed the acquisition method of the wvw gift. It was so easy to get it without touching wvw beyond spawn.

To Tumult, lol, go back and look at the whole conversation you were responding to when you said “your basic premise is flawed and unsustainable.” Yes, that part was talking about putting that one announcement out in multiple formats.

Is this just a t1 problem? It’s so rare that I see my home bl queued, and I’m in t2. And even when it is, I never see more than 3 people at the stations, and usually it’s none, or it’s someone standing kinda near them, but not close enough to be crafting anything.

Its important because they need accurate population measures for the linking.

Then they can adjust the way they determine whether someone is an active wvw player to whether the account has earned x wxp/ranks in the last y days/weeks. Which I thought was sort of how they already did it. I didn’t think they based on whether someone had stepped onto a wvw map or not. I could be wrong, though.

Nyta.4769

Hello everyone,

Many of you have been inquiring as to why we made the decision to remove the crafting stations in WvW. We made this decision because we have been seeing an increase in queue times with world linking. Upon observation we found there have been players taking up space in the maps who are only crafting and not participating with their teams. However, we’ve been listening to your feedback today and we wanted to let you know that we will be adding a banker to each team starting area in EB, Alpine and Desert. Thank you for the continued feedback!

Is this just a t1 problem? It’s so rare that I see my home bl queued, and I’m in t2. And even when it is, I never see more than 3 people at the stations, and usually it’s none, or it’s someone standing kinda near them, but not close enough to be crafting anything.

Why not go the opposite route instead and add the crafting stations to the other bls like it was a long time ago? That way, what few people are taking up queue—on the rare occasion it actually exists—crafting will be more spread out, reducing the problem without inconveniencing those of us who hop by it for a few minutes to refill our food or do the daily ascended crafting and get back to the fight?

I don’t think anyone wants to sit through the downtime of so many loading screens just to finally get to do what we want, and there’s no reason to require it when you have much better answers to a problem that rarely exists anyway.

Lol, your basic premise is flawed and unsustainable because you have absolutely no idea how many people lost WvW currency with the change, no idea how many players are working on Legendaries, and no idea how many will in the future.

Are you really complaining because of what I said about it not applying to a large enough portion of the playerbase to justify a horde of announcements everywhere about that one minor detail? That it’s a small percentage was pretty heavily implied—if not outright stated—with the announcement that future legendaries would be postponed indefinitely to redirect the developers to things that actually do affect most of the playerbase.

But if that’s not good enough for you, then imagine how cluttered everyone’s mail would be if Anet sent a letter with every single change that affected as much of the playerbase as that one change to legendary weapons does. Most of the changes in the update notes would be sent out as their own letters, and then you’d be back where you started with people complaining that they weren’t informed because it’s too much reading.

Just one point of clarity… you always needed to do WvW for Legendary crafting.

No, you didn’t. And people in the thread have already explained why several times.

Please no. Outside of selling to the lady next to it, most people aren’t there for more than a minute anyway—but usually just a few seconds—then they’re back to whatever they were doing before. Removing that just means having to sit on loading screens to LA for a decade just to use the MF for one item for a daily, then sitting on a loading screen to go back into wvw to continue what they were doing before. It would be yet another unnecessary removal of a convenience item that isn’t actually hogging the mostly non-existent queue.

lol, pretty sure you’re just trolling, but I’ll bite. You still aren’t really thinking it through. Legendaries just don’t apply to a large enough percentage of the player base to put that particular piece of info out in multiple official formats. Getting it out in one and leaving word of mouth to carry it the rest of the way is fine.

As for whether you should be expected to use secondary sources for information, well, yes, obviously. Did that really need to be answered? You complained about how the information wasn’t in-game, but it was. Again, word of mouth’s fine for something that doesn’t affect a large portion of the player base.

As for wvw map completion, the point of what I was saying was that if you go far enough back, yes, legendaries did actually require wvw to make, but after that requirement was gone, so was the need to do wvw at all, until now. You’re just splitting hairs.

For the dungeon requirement, the legendary as it is still requires a huge amount of pve in the form of the gift of exploration, so I don’t really care that they made the dungeon gift obtainable in wvw/spvp. Not really sure why people would get it in wvw since it takes at most, what, two hours in pve (split between two days), and closer to 20-30 hours in wvw. But even if someone did get the dungeon gift from wvw, that + gift of battle would still probably not take as long as the gift of exploration. So there’s still lots of pve required.

I would have liked if legendaries actually required spvp, too, though. And I’m saying that as someone who barely touches spvp. XD

For the gear stats/runes/sigils, are you honestly trying to compare something purely cosmetic to something that actually affects your build and effectiveness? We were talking very specifically about a high end purely-optional-no-matter-how-you-look-at-it item, not something that affects how well you’re able to play a certain role.

About the new poll

in WvW

Posted by: Nyta.4769

Nyta.4769

The “should desert bl stay” poll was a bit loaded. Lots of people want new maps, they just want them to be well made, which desert bl isn’t. But Anet said during the previous simultaneous vs. separate poll that they’d be more likely to make a new map if desert bl stays and simultaneous won. People on Reddit asked Anet to redo that poll because they’d have voted differently if they had known that, so they did. It’s hard to say how many people actually want to keep the map for its own merits vs. how many vote to keep it just because that’s also the “Do you want us to develop a new map at all?” option, even if they hate that particular map.

But judging from the fact that people play the alpines even when EB isn’t queued (and sometimes an alpine map or two will be queued even when EB isn’t) yet I almost never saw anyone on the desert bls unless EB was queued, desert bl probably isn’t popular. While you see blobs and ktrains on both alpine and desert, alpine was also popular with roamers and other small groups. Desert, not so much. Once the oasis event was removed from desert, so were most of the roamers. So unless a ktrain was on the map for easy undefended doors (since people often couldn’t be bothered to run so far to an objective to try to hold it), it was a dead map.

Remember when they ran the simultaneous vs separate poll earlier, 2 alpine beat 2 desert 55% to 15%. Alpine’s still the clear favorite.

I so rarely saw more than 3 people at the crafting stations. And it was so rare that the map was queued. This update seemed like they were trying to answer a problem that didn’t actually exist.

WvWers need to craft things, too. :/ I get that the whole “We don’t want wvwers to have to leave the format to get what they need” message that they gave us before launch was thrown out the window with so many stat combos being pve-only, but this really wasn’t necessary.

But if that whopping . . . 3 . . . people is the reason Anet wanted to remove them, then why didn’t they just go in the opposite direction to fix the problem? Back during the beta weekend events four years ago, there were crafting stations on ALL the borderland maps. (Can’t remember if EB had them.) If they put the crafting stations back on all the maps, then that would remove the need to go to the home borderland, and so there’d be less risk of the (mostly non-existent anyway) home bl queue being taken up by crafters.

Know what most of these things have in common? They’re not things I do while I’m enjoying the game.

I play GW2 to actually, surprise surprise, play the game.

I don’t sit around for hours reading Patch Notes a mile long incase a dev sneakily hid an important notification near the end under some headline concerning a game mode I don’t give a flying squirrel about.
I don’t spend my limited gaming time reading threads on Reddit.
I don’t stand around in Lion’s Arch for hours on end reading the map chat.
Nobody in my guild knew about/discussed this change before it was implemented so didn’t get the info that way either..
So yes, a flashing neon sign, an in-game mail, a tiny news bulletin on the login screen, or this info simply being under the part of the Patch Notes I actually bother reading – those that will seemingly effect my gaming experience, would have been nice.

The point of announcing this change in advance would be to give the players that earned the right to buy Gifts of Battle the time to do so before removing the vendor. Because, unlike what the majority of people here seem to think, it did require you to WvW before too.. Now people just had all their previous work thrown in their faces and have to do the bloody grind all over again.

Be reasonable for a minute. For an announcement about legendaries to be worth putting on a loading screen or in-game mail, it’d have to be something that affected a large portion of the player population. It doesn’t. Can you imagine how many more people would complain about Anet cluttering their screen or sending them junk mail?

The information was out there in a wide variety of forms. It’s not Anet’s fault that you don’t pay attention.

For the last part of your post, just lol. After they removed the requirement for wvw map completion, all the wvw you had to do for that item was step into the map. You didn’t even have to leave spawn. You had alternative ways to get both the badges and the ranks. There was no meaning to the gift. At least now it actually requires doing wvw. Still not enough, imo. Only requires 8-10 hours of wvw vs far more than that of pve for the legendary. But it’s a step in the right direction.

That is not what I said at all. I’ll probably have to do my track some day as well when I decide to work on another legendary. I’m not even high enough WvW rank to buy one right now if they brought the vendor back temporarily. I got my last one before they made that change, which was announced much better. I do not have a problem with doing the track when I need a GoB. I have a problem with how poorly the change was announced as it seems to affect a lot of people given how often this topic is brought up. Therefore, I think a small grace period to make it available via vendor would be well accepted by most.

It was in the notes, it was in the forums, it was on reddit, it often came up in LA map chat. I even saw it frequently in my pve guild chat, so I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if other pve guilds did the same. Did you want it on a neon sign on every loading screen, too? Why would that kind of change even need to be announced in advance, anyway? The entire point of the item was to require wvw, and the old way didn’t require it at all. At least this one does, so NOT announcing it in advance would have made the most sense.

It pops up very rarely in the Karmic Converter. For commendations, I’m not sure how often it comes up with just one guild hall. Four of my guilds have halls, and I see it in one of them every few days. One of the HoT currencies will have it up every few days, too.

It hurts players and knocks them off the ram, but it won’t destroy the siege. It’ll just buy a tiny bit of time. Mortars (in objectives where they don’t overshoot) and door trebs, however, will do what a door cata can do, AND hurt the siege, too! So use those instead.

For cloaking waters, the stealth duration is getting reduced dramatically. We recognize that it’s possible that any amount of stealth is too strong, but changing a number is something we can do quickly and safely. Whereas changing the upgrade to do something entirely different requires significantly more time, both in terms of general development (design/implementation/testing) and also in large part because it would require updated text, which in turn needs to go through our long editing and localization process. As for removing the upgrade entirely, that also isn’t really an option, due to how it’s intertwined with the Scribing and Guild Halls systems.

If removal or completely changing functionality aren’t possible, then how about at least changing it to give the same type of stealth as Obsidian Sanctum’s fountains? (i.e. no skill bar, ends if you take damage, and I think it disables trait passives, too. I think it’s basically a stealth tonic.) It’s not a perfect solution, but at least it means the stealthed zerg isn’t fully buffed on engage since they can’t use their skills until after dropping the stealth.

And if that ends up still being too powerful (considering that veiling the stealth drop kinda negates that downside), make the SMC stealth give you Reveal when it ends.

And if that’s still too powerful (because of being able to attack immediately after dropping the stealth), make it also disable skills for 1-2s when it ends. If the other group’s paying attention and has fast enough reflexes, that should give them a much better shot at defending themselves.

Ad Infinitum Skin

The “bright central piece from the old Fractal Capacitor skin” is there in ad inf. I stood next to a dude who was wearing the final form of the fractal capacitor skin, and we both had the same bright ball of light.

I kinda wish ad inf was a little less shiny . . . or that the shininess got relocated. From the back, my character looks headless; just a giant ball of light where his head should be. Debating reskinning it to its precursor.

Jana, I’ve known several diamonds who didn’t get it from eotm. Some of whom I rarely saw in groups larger than 10, and often enough smaller than that. One I have no idea when or how he got it, since most of the time I saw him online from mithril until diamond, he was dueling in EB/OS or watching/participating in gvgs. I rarely saw him in eotm until after he reached diamond (and even then, he wasn’t with the blob; he was in a group of ~10 harassing blobs to kill boredom.)

As for the rest of your post, most of it’s irrelevant. I was responding to your statement that “no wvw player has got a diamond rank.” But since a lack of response to the rest of what you said got you in a huff before . . . Most diamonds I know got to diamond almost exclusively playing one class. So if I were to randomly guess at how someone could get diamond in wvw without being good at a particular class, that’s the reason I would guess: they decided to go off-class for a change of pace. Whether that goes for that one particular person you fought, I don’t know nor do I care. I’m just saying your statement’s rather ignorant. You’re getting upset over something that shouldn’t even concern you, so it comes across more as jealousy.

EotM’s a trash map, but those of you complaining about how it’s nothing but a pve map populated by ktrainers, look at it this way: EotM didn’t get contaminated with guild upgrades the way regular wvw did. Ever since HOT, you can’t claim anything in EotM. Which means no Dragon Banners, no Chilling Fog, no indestructible automated turrets (still those destructible ones in the SW third, though, but hey, at least they’re destructible) . . . It makes me throw up a little in my mouth to say it, but as gimmicky as EotM is, regular wvw’s worse; that’s just how far HOT made it fall. So maybe the EotM and regular wvw players should swap places.

At least, don’t get so jealous over how EotM didn’t get kittened over when regular wvw did, lol.

That Diamond player was an EotM player – No wvw player has got a Diamond rank and if, I shouldn’t be able to beat them.

Loads of regular wvw players have diamond ranks, so no idea what on earth you’re talking about. Saw them and upper mithril all the time back when I was in t1 a year-ish ago. I’m in t2 now, and barely touch wvw at all anymore, but when I do, I still see at least one each time. I have noticed that most of the rank 1k+ players have either quit the game or quit the format, though. Most enemy groups I see now are just bronze/silver with a few golds, when they used to be silver/gold/plat with a few mithril and diamonds. So maybe that’s where your confusion’s coming from.

Emotes

Would also love to see more of GW1’s emotes come back. I miss /flute (loved staring at my rit hop X3), /stand, /catchbreath, /doubletake, /flex, /rock (hugs!), /paper, /scissors, and of course, /bowhead (so I liked pretending I was peeing in bushes <__________<; Don’t judge me >___________>; )

And honestly, I agree with Ardid. I know it was just an example off the top of Regina’s head, but still. If adding the emotes back would cost some other animation in the game, raid animations would probably be the best to hit, and for the reasons given.

Well, that, or reducing the flashiness of future skill animations, assuming that they’re done by the same animators.

Yisss, Friday~~

But, on the servers I’ve been on, the wvw population tends to die off a lot around 9PM PST/midnight EST, so 7 PM PST/10 PM EST seems really late for reset.

Outgoing Healing Definition

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Nyta.4769

Nyta.4769

You are right. …

Incorrect. “Outgoing healing” only applies to allies. If it applied to yourself, then it wouldnt be labeled OUTgoing healing.

So you tell him he’s wrong, then immediately tell him he’s right. lol . . .

Anyway, tested it on my ranger since I had some rice balls. The amount he healed to himself after eating them was 108 more than before he ate one, which is roughly what it should be with the +100 healing from the food but much lower (by several hundred) than what it should be if the +10% outgoing healing affected it. Didn’t heal myself to max during any of those tests, so the numbers should be pretty accurate. So yeah, what everyone else said. Outgoing doesn’t affect healing done to yourself.

This might be slightly off topic, but if human npcs count as creature design . . . . What happened to all the brown skinned Krytans? Why does nearly everyone in Kryta look more Ascalonian than Krytan? This has been bugging me since launch . . .

For something maybe more on topic, what’s the difference between a sylvari and a (GW1) warden? And what happened to Malyck? He went to his tree in the west in Magus Falls . . . and we never saw it anywhere in HoT. Were there originally plans for us to see this tree and it was dropped? Why didn’t the army he wanted to return with help in the fight that was going on around their home? Or was his home tree one of the blighting trees that we came across?

Long Queue Times

Same problems here. Ever since around Thursday or Friday, I haven’t been able to get a ranked match. I wait at least an hour (even waited until it automatically kicked me out at the 2 hour mark once) and then give up on getting a match. :/

I submitted a ticket to support to see if it was just my end or if something about the queue/ladder system was buggy. They suggested I try queuing as a class with lower MMR, so I tried queuing as a guardian, which I’ve never played in spvp. Waited an hour and gave up again. And now they’re suggesting that it might be my internet connection for some reason. -_-; I’m not dcing . . . I can’t get a match in the first place. >_<

I just want the three daily ranked matches. T_T
