Guild Wars 2

Been playing a half-zerker (Mostly Berserker with a few Knight pieces) in every dungeon and path in the game.

Axe+Shield (Shield block is a lifesaver).

Don’t want to sound elitist or brag, but I have been playing Warrior since launch and the key to success are

a) Player skill
b) Knowing the encounter and what you can and can’t do in that particular encounter

All the 1-5 keys do absolutely nothing. Your character just stands there like a buffoon with the bottle in his or her hand.

The Orrian Dagger (blue/green quality) actually looks very evil. Rather large too.

Eagle/Hawk due to their somewhat overpowered F2 ability. Their DPS just blows most other pets out of the water due to it.

If they would just remove the self-root on attacks they’d at least be usable. Not as good as class Elites, but not entirely worthless either.

Don’t roll Norn for the animal forms.

There are three great Necromancer staffs:

Deathwish, Final Rest and the one with a hand holding a lantern who’s name escapes me right now.

But there are no great daggers :C

No evil ones dripping with poison, no nothing…

Absorbing projectiles (rather than reflecting them) and adding Lifeforce per projectile absorbed sounds both useful and very Necromancer-y.

Just me or does this ability need a total makeover. Be it PvP, WvW or PvE it is rare to the point of it never happening that enemies pass through it back and forth to apply multiple stacks of Vulnerability…

No argument. The entire concept of transformations (not including DS, because of how it works with the extra HP bar), seems poorly thought out.

Extra damage/life/defense? Nice

Loss of all utilities, healing, class mechanic skills….. Not Nice

Especially the loss of your Healing skill.

That one hurts the most.

See the difference is that the Engineer does not Transform. Technically they use Bundles. Every Bundle in the game now saves your auto-attack, this includes things you pick up like Wooden Planks as well as Warrior Banners.

Transform skills across the board should definitely get the same treatment, I agree.

You should see it in that build then. Mine is more of a hybrid build. Explained in the BoC podcast. I view gear as a grocery store… I’m not gonna buy pizza for glass cannon regardless of the cost and I’m not gonna buy milk for bunker regardless for the cost. I’m gonna buy what’s on-sale to give me a well-rounded char.

Regardless, that’s some damage. Necromancer has the only Transform(s) worth using.

From the perspective of the other races’ (and ours, the human race outside of the game) they are all practicing incest.

If the apples lived in a culture that put a lot of importance on the fact that they are all brothers and sister, then yeah, we would.

My Norn would kill the children of a thousand suns for a Mace with bear heads on it like that. Just take a look at the Legendary Mace and you have the general status of Mace skins in this game summed up…

It doesn’t have to be flashy.

It could be subtle things that put the Marks apart visually. Like actually have Mark of Blood being inscribed in blood on the ground, as well as some sort of blood splash effect when triggered.

1) If you have Regeneration on you when you enter Death Shroud, what happens? Does it continue to tick and heals your Health outside of Death Shroud?

2) If you have Vampiric and hit enemies in Death Shroud, does it heal your Health outside of Death Shroud? I see the extra damage number plop up, so I know it applies.

A very, very well-timed Shake It Off!! will let you escape the bubble of death, too.

Roll and just as you impact the wall, you use the Shout.

Yes, me entire party tried relogging fully (closing the game client down as opposed to character select screen).

The Sylvari put a lot of emphasis on being the children and the Pale Tree being the mother. Not in a cult-like setting, but a family setting. She is the mother and they are the children.

The Charr skull masque is the coolest thing in the game.

What I HATE is how the pet always runs either to the left or right of you.

It essentially doubles your aggro width in dungeons and makes your team mates ever so frustrated with you!

Don’t be too impressed with this if you watch carefully in his videos hes fully stacked 25 bloodlust sigil, power food / w/e oil hes using. His opponents for all parts of the video I watched were not even stacked with 25 stacks of bloodlust sure they had some had food boons. This might work on amateurs in wvw but the only way to impress people in 1v1s as a necro is in tpvp against pro’s. Where real pvpers are at.

WvW and spvp are completely different. WvW is more about staying alive, positioning and movement. Spvp you know where everyone is and builds would have to be completely different. Knocking one at the expense of the other is rather ignorant.

Doesn’t change the fact that you went fully buffed against weaker opponents, bro.

As the Focus trait in Spite actually makes your Focus perform worse, any suggestion as to what to pick in that slot instead?
