Do you even lift, bro?

After they removed free transfers, I am never again 100% another character. Sad but true. I’m just glad I did it with my main when it was free.
WvW should be removed from World Completion. It is just too punishing for players on the “bad” servers. I am on Fissure of Woe and we are always someone’s prison kitten. Just holding our own “home” is a struggle; no way could we take over the other three areas of which two are duplicates (all borderlands are the same, so you do the same thing three times!).

A social perspective of incest means the act needs to be with someone “too close to marry”. Sylvari don’t have this standard so they can’t actually have incest. The idea od incest is complelty relative to the culture. Sylvari don’t have incest because no one is too close to be with anyone else.
As I’ve said repeatedly, this is partly not about how the Sylarvi look at it.
From the perspective of the other races’ (and ours, the human race outside of the game) they are all practicing incest.
It is also why all the Norn’s “Become the…” Elites are worthless.
Are you a Charr Necro?
Do you wear full Arah, or the Arah chestpiece?
If so I need your help! Does the ugly texture glitch with the red lines on the arms show up in-game as well, or is it just the preview being funky?
Their natural lifespan – who knows? Their average lifespan is most likely a lot shorter than the other races due to their warlike culture. There are very few old and bald Charr according to two very old Blood Legion veterans in Iron Marshes.
It only seems fair for Anet to cater to the minority of players that might prefer rainbows and unicorns to steel and flame, and cuteness aside the effect looks awesome.
The problem is that then they should’ve given the option to do so with all weapon types. Not just doom a few like Shortbow and Mace into being the “joke Legendaries”. Warriors who like Mace are forever going to look on people with the other Legendaries in envy.
Power, Precision and Critical Damage.
Always.
Conditions are a “nice bonus”, not something to build around when it comes to Warrior weapons.
I hate the CoF armour on anything but Elementalists.
I wish you could dye the flames. Something like putrid green would look amazing on a Necromancer…
Even with the supposed 20% faster recharge on Necromancer Focus skills, it remains at 18 seconds…
Notice how the tooltip states 14 seconds but the cooldown is at 17 seconds.
That’s the biggest problem I have with Legendaries in general(apart from Precursors. Grrr…)
There are two categories:
1) Joke Legendaries, like the Dreamer and the Moot.
2) Cool Legendaries, like Twilight and Frostfang.
Is that really a problem, though?
Yes.
Why should people who like Mace be “punished” by a stupid Legendary choice, while those who like Greatswords get an epic-looking and “cool” Legendary?
Oh man, really? That’s bollocks! I thought the damage bonus per Boon removed was rather weak after all, and now I know why…
EDIT: Just to confirm. Notice how the tooltip states 14 seconds while the recharge on the skill bar shows 17 seconds? What the…?

That’s not the kind of size he is talking about…

He has a very nice dark and rich green dye on his robes.
Anyone know what it is called? I’ve tried comparing on T.P but couldn’t find anything.
Personally, my vote goes to Charr.
It is just brütal. It doesn’t look like facepaint at all, but an actual skull!
Distracting Strikes are not nearly reliable enough to warrant a condition build.
1k life before Healing Power. If you combine it with Sigil of Restoration, the results are pretty spectacular.
To even compare it to Reanimator is an insult. It is waaaay better a 5 point Trait than that piece of garbage.

Yeah I’ve been using Drakes too, but their F2 has a rather hefty cooldown.
Which is the best to use for the event farming? Do any of them have melee cleave at all?
Spectral Wall doesn’t block anything…?
Come now, its a five point trait. Not only that, but the first five point trait you get. Had it been the 15 or 25 trait, I might’ve agreed. But at 5 points it is a freebie, and a kitten good freebie at that.
Must be a server thing.
I’ve not noticed it.
Let’s see. My wishlist…
Spite- Spite has some really awful traits. Pretty much every trait aside from Grandmasters is terrible.
Parasitic Bond— This trait is completely useless since healing after an enemy is down is not going to help in a number of circumstances. Thus, it should give health every time you hit an enemy with less than 25% life, including fatal blows. (5 second cooldown to make it pretty useless as it is a first level trait, but better than it is currently).
Really now? It grants you nearly 1k Health at lvl 80 and is affected by Healing Power. In dungeons with a lot of trash, that is invaluable. Seems pretty sweet for a 5 point Trait.

In return, Norns should be able to punt Asuras around like chickens in the Fable series of games.
Lupi, like Kholer, is the bane of disorganized and sloppy groups.
That’s all.
Are these actual patch notes or just the fevered dreams of a madman?
Does this trait make your Siphon Life heal for more?
Let’s be intellectually honest please.
Vs 2-3 boons (I assume Prot/Ret/Vig) it would be 10-15% dmg increase, not even remotely enough to kill the Guardian class.Hell, that’s not even half of the Protection boon, which Guardians can have almost constantly.
It would however further cement the Warrior class into nothing more than Berserker builds. A pure damage increase like this is not what the class wants nor need. Just like the Banner buff, it is just throwing us a bone without addressing any real issues we have.
I agree whole-heartedly. Because of our Heavy armour status we lack all the fancy tricks of the less armoured classes, yet we also lack the crucial Protection boon that Guardians have.
The additional protection offered by Heavy armour is not nearly enough to make up for our lack of “cheap tricks”. And that is why we are so poor in PvP settings.
Bring out the kitten
The gim kitten leeping.
Then you better go wake him up!
Little easter eggs like this is what makes roaming around the open world so much fun at times.
Regardless of skill, as mentioned some bosses are just not designed for melee in mind. It is better to hit all of the time at range than to wait out for the opportunities to hit in melee if you ask me.
With pets like Drakes who have a decent recharge it is no problem. But it is very annoying with those short recharge pets, because there is so much else to keep your eyes and hands on in a fight.
EDIT: Especially since it often doesn’t fire, no matter how much I hammer away at the F2 key.
(edited by Oglaf.1074)
How on earth did you do that? :O
What specc?
We need it. Especially for pets like the Hawk which only has 6 seconds cooldown on it’s F2. That’s a lot of potential lost if you can’t keep up with spamming that F2 key.
“I would like an honest response as to why the Warrior’s mobility moves (Rush, Bull’s Charge, etc) are the only ones in the game that are affected by movement impairing effects as well.”
i am REALLY eager to know that myself… since were one of the few, if not the only class, that can and often does specc 100% melee…
Its just plain stupid to call these gap closers when they are affected by slows, which is exactly the thing they are there for and should work against.
Plain stupid – not even talking bout the sad path finding issues.Add to that… why do we have the WORST slows in the game plz ?!
Bladetrail… misses everything that moves and is not already in your face…
Axe throw misses everything that moves and like bladetrail its possible to just walk out of its range while its already in mid air…
Only good slow i can think of is rifle and well…
even that one, like all the others, gets obstructed way too often on a battlefield where there arent even any obstacles around…
Hammer AoE slow is amazing.
1) Flesh golem if handy for solo world PvE.
2) Lich Form is one of the few Transform skills worth using, due to the immense damage boost it gives.
It is far easier to spam Cripple/Chill than it is to remove it as a Warrior. All about watching the Warrior waste his Condition Removal and then kill the defenseless Warrior.
When viewing transmuted items at the Sell interface they revert back to their non-Transmuted inventory icon. I almost ended up selling my Skull Masque before I noticed it!
I want a *Hide Chest Armour"-option for my male Norn.
It was annoying enough in Fable.
No thanks.
Perhaps warriors should get +5% damage against opponents with aegis.
lol..
Give warriors a 100000% increase damage to foes with aegis.
Heck, make them automatically one-shot enemies with Aegis.
Also this idea that the smaller characters are easier in jumping puzzles. I have never had an issue doing a jumping puzzle with my Norn, maybe you just need to practice some more?
Try doing the underground one in Lion’s Arch.
Oh boy….
I use the green banner as a staple in my build, mainly because of the 10% crit damage.
Warriors have more pressing issues than getting our friggin’ banner buffed, that’s all.
I wouldn’t call Warrior mobile at all. We might be more mobile than a Guardian, but one Chill/Cripple and all Warrior mobility is instantly disabled.
For the stat question, yes. But if you put it into terms of effective health, warriors have more health and make 3k armor more valuable. However guardians also have protection which decreases damage even further.
Guardians have waaaay more effective Health than Warriors due to
1) All their healing
2) Aegis
3) Protection
Even Elementalists have more effective health than Warriors.
More damage is the last thing Warriors need. I really, really hope they don’t just mean more damage depending on the number of Boons on your target.
(edited by Oglaf.1074)
Yeah keep your grubby hands off my double finisher auto-attack!
It makes me especially sad that Warrior banners, which are innately better than spirits (unkillable, better buffs, mobile), are getting buffed.
When they start giving out Protection (which Warrior sorely lacks) you can start to complain. It is not like us Warriors even wanted a Banner buff… again.
