Well just don’t go into it with any expectations. I thought Mad King’s day was gonna be awesome like last year, but I was disappointed. So I’m just gonna set my expectations low. As long as Lion’s Arch is decorated like last year with the festive music, then I’ll be happy.

It can’t be sons of svanir though. They’re just zombies of Jormag, right? None of the other ones consist of known dragon minions. It’d be like the Risen siding with Scarlet.

For me, I can say that I buy gems regularly AND I regularly get named exoctics to drop. Makes my guildies so jealous, ahahaha!
It’s only on one character I play though. I’m very superstitious so I’ll only do temples and champ trains with that one character.

Can these items be purchased as gifts? That’s the only reason I can think of to leave them in the shop.

1. More horns for Charr.
2. More fur patterns for Charr.
3. More face choices for Charr.

I didn’t think she was trying to get us to have bigger guilds. I thought it was a really weird way of trying to get us to tell our friends to play guild wars 2. Either way it was really strange.

Everybody probably has different reasons.
I just like making up new characters. I really only have two I actually play for fun. I just get an idea for one and I have to make them.

That’s exactly what I thought. It’s so tiny it didn’t even register as that imagery until I saw this thread.

I think it looks awesome. I guess if it’s not working like it should then they should fix it, but I love how it just drops the feathers when you pull it out. Heck, those things stay there a while too. I love it.

Gotta agree with OP, aside from the three he named and some minor norn characters (Not Brahms) there aren’t any necessary/memorable males in this game. (Tybalt was more of a lolxDsorandumApples than an actual character)

Lol! There aren’t any memorable characters from the Living Story AT ALL. It has nothing to do with male or female. The only one that comes to mind is Scarlet and that’s just because she’s so freakin’ ANNOYING.

Right now I’d give anything for a cool character, female OR male. These characters we have now are just forgettable :/ The best characters are Destiny’s Edge from the main game anyway.

I thought it was really weird to not give females the winged helmet. I was finally going to be able to finish my Valkyrie character. Why’d they change the helm for females? Pretty disappointing :/
The mohawk helm is nice, but I just really wanted a winged helm for her.

I’m an altaholic. As long as I can get new armor and new character creation options then I’ll stick around.

I’ve always thought server spirit isn’t needed in guild wars. It’s a WvW thing. It’s not needed in PvE. Guesting should eliminate it. We don’t need it.
I really wish that PvE areas were common areas and just filled in “overflows” when the first one filled and so on.

It worked for me as the Daily Clock Tower LS achievement yesterday, while it didn’t work for my brother. He completed it twice and got no achievement for it. It’s definitely bugged as any achievement.

I bought 5 keys and got one full black lion ticket. I’m stoppin there. Now I just gotta decide what weapon to get.

For these kind of events I wait til I feel lucky and just buy one set of 5 keys. I got a caithe mini too and a total makeover kit. Very nice. I’m not gonna chance more though.

I’m fairly neutral on the armor. They look ok for the most part. I bet I could find some pieces to work into my look.

I’m having the same problem. I can’t click next/first/previous/ page. I tried exiting the game and relogging, but it hasn’t worked.

I agree. I consider myself a casual player because I play casually. I generally don’t care to have the newest shiny and I just play for fun. If something takes a lot of time or seems troublesome to get, well then I won’t bother. Dailies don’t hurt me at all. I like dailies because they take no effort and I’m earning stuff without bothering to do much :P If anything, dailies are a casual player’s best friend. Casual as in, relaxed and unconcerned.
Now, for players who have to have and do everything? Hardcore minded players who can only play casually (as in not regularly)? Dailies are their worst nightmare.

But if everyone’s guesting, then why would you want to do it on your home server? Why not just guest with your home server on whatever server they’re guesting on?

Would getting rid of “home worlds” for zones with world bosses work.? The zones become areas just like overflows meaning all worlds together. Y’all call them districts? That way, people shouldn’t have a problem playing together (everyone just join someone not in a full one), and low population shouldn’t be an issue.

Maybe they could just make all the world boss areas into districts. I never played GW1, but from what I’ve read it looks like those areas were open to all? It was like our overflows? Then it wouldn’t matter. I wish people would quit talking about their servers all together. PvE shouldn’t be restricted. Then low pop “servers” wouldn’t matter.

Wow, Ishtar, you need to get over your server dude. Calling other servers “crappy”? Chill man.

Well, maybe we should all expand our idea of “community”. I don’t see why you have to pigeonhole yourself. Why not think of us all together?

Yeah, but “your server” is not your private property.

They should just leave him the way he is. I won’t do him, but that content’s not for me. Let the die hards deal with him. They have nothing else to do and who cares? There’s plenty else to do for people who find him too tough/tedious/etc.

Why are farmers less important than you? It’s not like anything anybody does in this game is anything more than…..playing a game.

They just need to do something about the newbie zones champs only. It’s gotten pretty bad about people complaining from both sides. I wouldn’t want that to be the first thing new people see. It’s like showing your new boyfriend your crazy old aunt on the first date.

This is not Anet’s fault. Personally, I enjoy doing dailies and I don’t let a game control my life. If I don’t have time to do them, I won’t.
Some people can’t control themselves. It’s better that these guys quit the game just for their own safety. They’re just taking care of their own sanity. But OP doesn’t need to come out here and say Anet’s at fault and dailies need to go. I can handle myself thanks. I have common sense.

I’m still going for a legendary, just slowly. I’m a very lazy MMO player. I’ll get it when I get it.
Ascended stuff doesn’t bother me really nor am I changing anything I do normally. I just go where all the people are and listen to them blab about ridiculous things. Sadly invasions aren’t as frequent anymore. People love gabbing during those.

So can I hurry and finish and get more laurels or would that be a bad thing since this is a bug?

I really do want it to eat aegis. That, I can definitely get behind. I forgot about that skill.

To your point B Crim, what if someone worked really hard and got FSP because they liked it how it is? What if it gets changed to something really dumb?
I don’t want to see everybody all upset like those people who got the legendary scepter.

I like that about it though. I don’t want flying ponies or pages or something ridiculous to ruin what I’ve been working for. I just don’t trust them to do something tasteful

I don’t know. I like it the way it is. I really don’t want some ridiculous, over done crap that plagues the other legendaries. I think it’s beautiful the way it is.
I’d rather they just leave it alone and not ruin it. It’s one of the few actually tastefully done legendaries.

I really think guys just learn to deal with it. Women have been through it for decades and longer. We had to deal with it, why can’t you?

I’ve never seen anybody farming champs in this event. We always succeed and I usually get around 20-30 boxes. I really think you’re all blowing this out of proportion.

Go ahead, remove the champs. No one will do the events. Sounds like that’s what you all want. Anet put the champ rewards to actually give people a reason to go do these LS events.

They’re probably just ramping up for an “infinite endless” one that’ll be sold in the black lion boxes :P

I’m glad to see something about the humans. I don’t have any human characters, but I think it’ll be fun. Hopefully you won’t have to know too much about them to enjoy it.

Don’t worry about it OP. They’re more likely to get banned for harassing you. Just report them and be done with it.

It’s just new. Same thing happened with world bosses. There aren’t nearly as many people doing those on my server anymore. This’ll die down too.

Really? I can farm for years and years and if my luck sucks I’ll never get any of these skins. How’s that putting effort in for skins?

I’d actually rather there be tons of regular old skins running around the game than tons of incredibly rare skins only seen on the trade post. I think we need more easy to get skins.

They really should just get rid of all other armor options and any class besides warrior.
