I ran things on blue bl for 4 hours after the reset. I was running a 20 people group on field, with most of our players dedicated to defending and upgrading so we could get a head start on PPT for the weekend. My composition was mostly medium and light armor classes. May I remind you that Ark wiped on the first two encounters they had with Abys? May I remind you that your fellow server members from [Azn] wiped every time they tried to take on us? Would you have something to say to your fellow server members from [PYRO] about blobbing? What about [DERP] turtling inside Bay last week? We could brag and point fingers all night. Nevertheless, every time I encountered a group from Maguuma I wouldn’t back off unless one of our structures was endangered. I would try my hardest to push people through, even against all odds and being sure that I was going to wipe. It is what it is, you win some, you lose some, there are many factors that can influence the outcome of a ZvZ, no magical technic that will guarantee victory in every situation. I have massive amounts of respect for all the guilds in Maguuma and they all provide amazing fights that are huge learning experiences for us. I do understand that someone like you must have put a lot of dedication into this game to be as good as you probably are or claim to be, but all the flaming just makes you look pathetic and obsessed. It also hurts the public image of your guild. Instead, why not demonstrate all that superiority in the actual game? That would be more likely to give us something to respect and look up to.

It was about a week after the 1 week matches started that people wanted 2-3 day matches back. Seriously 1 week is worse in virtually every regard. Hell, remove upgrade costs and make it 1-day.

Before the season I thought YB would be the worst server to fight. No offense, everyone behind walls.

I don’t know to what degree that has changed, but it’s clear that YB is now a real contender and it should be fun to face them in the future.

Nah that’s the same yaks. They’re going through their “burn out NA’s” phase that they go through every few months. I feel like Mag is married to yaks after we’ve been in matches with them like 30+ weeks total, and this is looking like one of their patterns.

@ PD yaks group, had fun poking you 3v8 on mag bl a bunch. You need to drop those terrible tanky builds if you want to kill people in groups. If I see another mesmer with scepter block up running at me saying “please it’s my only form of offense milord” I’m going to die laughin.

Looks like a repeat of last matchup. I remember seeing a Bags roaming team die in about 6 seconds to some AoN, then saw thought back to bags forum posts and felt a warm feeling in my lower intestine.

Lol first of all we smashed on all of you last night when we caught you guys not holding each others kittens other then maybe [TE] when the jumped on us going uup to the north tower. The only guild we lost to last night was [TEDRBEAST]. Please feel free to engage us one at a time and see what happens because we wiped the floor with you all when you by yourself. We watched [TE] run away from a fight until they knew [BEAST] was with them. We watch [TE] and [BEAST] wait outside a tower for [DR] to show up just to push in. There’s a kitten tons of guilds that don’t exist anymore and just sit there in gw2gvg. Is there anyway to sort it out ? It would help to have updated lists and not try and mail non existing guilds…

How about color coding. Green name = active within 1-2 weeks, yellow active within the last month, red inactive for 1 month or longer.

I’m assuming you just want to know which guilds on which server to challenge, so that might help a bit.

Stipulated some of these results are skewed based on some of the servers getting easier matchups more often, the results are still certainly surprising. Never thought to see SBI down in 3rd. Nobody saw YB coming. EB managed to tie BP which was unexpected, and CD managed to tie DB which nobody saw coming as well.

The only thing that’s for certain is that FA needs to be voted off the island and up to the gold league if this leagues thing ever happens again.

If you take a quick look at the Recruitment subforum it’s pretty obvious how “hard” we’re recruiting. (We have 1 guild thread in the first 5 pages. Like 80% of the front page is T1 servers and FA.)

Since the leagues started we lost several major guilds, including two that covered our weakest timezones, and one of them to your server. Our last real influx of guilds was around April (?) or so when the CD guilds moved over, and that just brought our previously near non-existent SEA to “maybe hold 2 keeps against T1” levels.

But sure, we’re recruiting too much

so outside of leagues you are still walking over t2’s and recruiting

unless you plan to take over sor’s t1 spot any recruiting at all is silly

Spam 1? I have all my 10 skills used depends on the situation, commander’s position, even dodge have to dodge wisely. You don’t understand why are we doing this. It’s okay, You train yourself to be a hero-like player but some of us love to play as a team and community and that’s why we’re in T1 again. This game is not about you or the solo player. We paid for the game, we have the right to choose what mode to play and it is not in your concern that whether we spam 1 or not.

You’re lying to yourself if you think there isn’t debilitating skill lag in megazorg vs megazorg. We did SoR vs BG vs Mag in SoR’s garrison this weekend, and we had to sit tight until one of you wiped before we could move just so we could use buttons again. That’s not fun. Generally once BG was dead the game could resume.

The teamplay curve levels off at some point when you have 40+ people with a mark over one guy’s head and you’re effectively just playing simon says with empowers, blasts, and stab.

The teamplay exists just as much or moreso all the way down to 2v2. The only reason someone would prefer huge blobs is the safety of group blame sharing. I encourage you to try lower numbers, where when you lose, your list of reasons has your own name at the top.

oPP was pretty excited as well, but you guys wont separate. oPP cannot field 10 to fight your 10.

AoN runs 7-8. If you whispered any of those AoN, I’m sure the rage and VR would have stepped off to let you play.

I will gladly help any T1 players with build optimizations, because they really really really need it.
