I wanted to get my Mad Memories book placed on another toon and found when I used a trans that it still kept it soulbound to the toon it was originally on (all back pieces seem to be soul bound upon use, so change to soulbound when I tried this). So I thought this would be a neat idea to have Fine Transmutation Stones turn soulbound items to account bound items, though when you equip it to another toon it goes back to soulbound.
Took ages to find that last waypoint but when I finally finished it no chest for it…. Was there a new wp added to it? I looked at the GW2 cartographers and found they only had 18 wp instead of 19 listed. Had to look at the wiki one to find the last. I guess the only thing about it that annoyed me was the possibility of getting a lion key….
Edit: I finished all but that waypoint: Langmar Estate sometime ago. It had 98% till I got this one bringing it to 100%.
I’m trying to find good and efficient and not too complex guides for armorsmith and weaponsmith that will hopefully not cost me too much (I do understand that it will cost a few gold). I’ve seen some guides but they have, so far, been not really good and waste more than necessary. Thanks for your help.
P.S. If there are similar guides in the other crafting areas that would be great to have them posted here too.
What is needed is another event like “Lost Shores” where at the end there was a much much higher chance for ppl to get precursors from the chest at the end.
An item that when u select a dye you want turned back into a vial you can use again on another character or sell (maybe should be made account bound upon extraction? (note that once you extract this dye from your character that character will not have that color unless you use the vial on them)) I’d like it if this could be made and sold at gem store. I’m kinda curious on how many people would actually use this too.
But why do you consider it more effective? I’ve heard thieves say all it’s good for is the auto attack. I know they could be biased but what makes it more effective than a thief using it and vice versa?
I want to make this bow as a main weapon but am wondering what class would it really be more useful to use it on; thief or ranger? So, if possible, what class would you use the dreamer legendary bow for and why that class?
I know that may be the case I still plan on making it for my asura I’d just like to see some pics that I’ve described above. Call it more of a motivational thing.
I want to make the dreamer for my asura Ranger but am curious as to how well it comes out on an asura. If there’s one that has the dreamer could you post pics for me. What the bow looks like when not in use and what it looks like in use along with a pic of the bow being fired to see the size of the unicorn compared to that of the asura. Pics of an asura ranger would be nice to see how the skill shots look.
I don’t think it’s a terrible idea at all. For one it would not be about “protecting” people at all. It would:
1 – Give us more options for equipping our characters with various skins earned on alts/mains.
2 – Earn more money for Anet to bring us nice new updates for a hopefully a long while to come.
Please expand on why you think it would be “terrible”.
PS I never said remove “soulbound” and make fully tradeable at all. I would be happy for the result being changing from “soulbound” to “account bound”.
I can tell you why. Because it is still soulbound to that deleted character. For that little item to work you’d have to have it on the character it’s soulbound to to unbind it.
Best option is that they make legendary weps account bound that would fix his problem and would allow others that, for the most part, spent considerable amounts of time making their legendary, enjoy the weapon to the fullest on their other characters.
I’ve enjoyed MF so far. It’s gotten me decent items. I don’t keep count but if I have to I’d say I average a 2-4 rares a day, plenty of masterworks and fines and today in less than 30min also got 2 lodestones (score).
But no, I wouldn’t use this set in a dungeon. It’s purely a farming set for me.
It’s luck plain and simple. I put in 4 rares last week and got dawn myself and was flabbergasted. I did it mostly as a joke hoping at best to get a 3g or so exotic and lucked out. It’s not a law of averages. Ex. If there was a .2% chance to get a precursor it will always be a .2% chance. Every. Single. Time.
To the OP, yea that’s horrible, sorry you lost out. To everyone else learn from his mistake. 552g? With that much I’d have just kept saving till I could have bought it out right it is by far cheaper.
Forget longbow warriors have this give us the short bow. I want to humiliate my foes by raining down death with neighing galloping unicorns.
On a more serious note as some have said all that’s really needed is adding a speed boost to #1 skill but no I don’t agree on it being 1200 range. Can’t have it all.
Honestly, I think this is the best bow ever. Am currently making sunrise for my guard but because of this bow i’m conflicted of whether I should make a ranger and make her both sunrise and the dreamer.
This should be a dream come true for thieves. They won’t have to use stealth ever again I mean all people will be looking at are the random unicorns trampling over them making cute neighing sounds.
I don’t know why some of u would be embarrassed to use the dreamer. I’d feel more humiliated at being trampled to death by rainbow streaking unicorns. lol this wep is awesome.

Seemed to have forgotten about the color thing. I doubt they would take it out but perchance they could make it where servers get rotated weekly b/n the 3 bases rather than being rotated to said color due to your server rank.
Yea, I could see how lag issues could be a problem. Other than that no I wouldn’t agree to a separation. Map completion in wvw can be quite easy to do. Since last night I managed to finish off not 1 but 3 of the 4 maps and am nearly done with the 4th. Far as I can tell servers change areas we defend in every map at the weekly reset so in essence you should be able to complete wvw maps within a month, give or take, if you do just your area when the reset happens.
Maybe, but why then not have added that to this new prelude as it also stated new features and improvements. It probably will be but it’d be nice to be confirmed.
I saw the new post by anet and it’s plans but didn’t read anything of the fractals update that was said to be coming at the end of January. Is this still going to happen or has it been pushed back?

nice keep it up gonna try a lot of these before months end. If you can remember try to put in the waypoints closest to the JP or possibly the name. And pics are always nice of you at your favorite one, so far that is. ^^
Just did a tour of Fields of Ruin and did the JP there Branded Mine south of verims run. It shook on occasion and dropped rocks. Was fun. :o)
I was told about an easy jp to do for the monthly (simply hop over the laser fence and you got it) but when i went further in i found a really neat looking JP and since it was asura architecture that was a definite plus for me.
This got me to thinking since JP is part of the monthly achievement it’d be neat to know other players favorite JP and for them to post it up with location of where it’s at so others can enjoy it them too. Admittedly I’ve seen some that were simply awesome but I really enjoyed the look of this one. Asura Architecture rules.

The game is imperfect just as the people who made it are. That’s being human all they can do is try and fix it maybe the next patch will do just that. But stop trying to shift the blame for the CHOICE you made. That’s all you. Own up to it. You left them. Big whoop. Like plenty of others haven’t done that before. You’re human. You get tired, you get lazy, you get bored or frustrated. That’s being human. So you left them. Just remember that was your choice not some kinda bug that exists within you to do that on occasion like this game can on occasion do. So own up to your choices, learn from it, and move on.
The game bugged; it happens. But you CHOSE to leave them. It wasn’t the game it was you. Just as those other people CHOSE not to continue with you to help you get that last bit of achievement. You could have stayed and helped them finish it off but were tired or simply disliked fractals too much to want to stay longer. But just remember it was your CHOICE to leave them. You can deny it all you want but then why do you feel guilty about it?
I know the legendary hammer Juggernaut gives this effect but do you think the Anet would ever make dyes like these as well? Of course by doing so would lessen the appeal of the juggernaut so I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t but it would be kind of awesome to have.
I know there’s emberglow scepter that supposedly looks like Hodgins’ from AC path 1 but was wondering if there is a torch that size. I’m mostly looking for the biggest torch out there. Practically like holding a staff size one would be nice.
I’ve been searching for a heavy armor helmet that is in the PvP locker but can’t seem to find it for PvE, WvW. It’s called: Dark Helm in the locker. Here’s a pic of it.
Going to get the fractals hammer skin myself looks epic but till then I’m going with the lionguard hammer a great one too, i mean, who doesn’t like a hammer head in the shape of a lion?
Honestly, we already have 3 medium and 3 light weight classes but only 2 heavy classes so I think it’d be good to round it off to 3 of each.
How about a dragoon or lancer type class?
Weapons that could be used would be: (mainhand or 2h) Spear, trident, (offhand) shield, or whip.
I’d like to see if the spear or trident could be a single handed wep (being of a lancer/dragoon type class why not?). Would be awesome to have a char with a trident in main and whip in offhand like the gladiators of old.
Mainhand:
Spear: #1 a. swing b. chop c. thrust /#2 throw/ #3 rapid thrust
Trident: #1 throw /#2 lance (a fast atk forward running thrust) /#3 whirl atk
Offhand:
Whip: #4 snare, #5 stun (or maybe blurred atk with distortion)
Shield: #4 bum rush, #5 three hit block
If that’s the case, I want my focus bell to make ring-a-ling-ding sounds whenever I hit 4 or 5. I mean it’s preposterous that it makes no noise at all someone must’ve put scotch tape on it or something
I made the foostivoo mini but I have to say don’t really care for him. I miss the pop pop popping sounds of my snowman mini. That being said it would be nice if you could use those leftover cogs in the mystic forge for something. Ah well….
I’m not downscaling, I’d use lvl 35 gear till I reach the next tier, pretty much every 10 lvls I’d change gear even if it ends up being just masterwork.
Well, I’m stumped. As the title says I’m looking for a good hammer, x/shield build. For right now I want it for pve but will be doing AC dungeon once I hit 35. I’m going to make the lvl 35 rare armor I’ve already got all the mats though the type/s I should use stumps me. Should I go for just one whole set or pieces from 2 or more sets? What type of runes should I use? Same thing with the weapons. What type would be good and sigils to use as well as jewels?
For whatever reason I seem to have a mental block on this class don’t even know where to put the 21 trait points I have atm. I want to make this class work though and am not adverse to an up hill battle. I solo for the most part but in dungeons that’s sort of moot. I think once I get over this initial bridge I will be able to go on reasonably well. Till then, it would be great to get some advice and possible explanations as to why certain builds and combos work that may be suggested. Anyone’s help will be much appreciated. Thanks. =o)
