Meaning it takes awhile to do each of the four attacks. 1/4, 1/2, 1/2, 1/4; while ones like thieves or necros is more like instant. I know we have some condis on there but the others have skills on theirs as well.

1. Adventures. They will get you a lot of exp per day.

2. Hero Points where you fight some mob to get HP credit. These will also net you a lot of exp per day.

3. Doing Events.

4. Look for mastery points (help you guildies get to these)

5. Episode map dailies

As said in the above comment. Work first on gliding and updraft, then mushroom 1. These are the most important to get to help start you to finishing maps and getting even more exp. down the road.

S4 and HoT Legendaries

So, this will be the end of S3 in between of which the next expac before s4 starts. With Season 4 do we have to do map comp of the new expac to make the rest of the 2nd set of legendaries or will map comp of HoT still apply?

Put everyone back to zero (as if you (Anet) had just introduced PvP) and start over.

From here players would do their matches. You and your team get points for winning. Lose points for losing. But, how would this change anything?

Easy

Players get Match Points for the amount of points accumulated in a match. You count the kills, defense, offense, heals, damage and the like AND you add one. The player on the team with the most overall points. They may end up with not getting the most kills, etc. but their accumulated points on everything in general showed them they got more than the average. These players will then get match points. May be it’s one per most of. If they lose a match they will lose less points allowing them to go up the ranks eventually. If they win the match then they get those extra points to help them get to where they truly belong in the ranks.

Following this, it may also help with those players who give up during a match as well. At the least they can continue to play and hope to lose less points in the match by trying to get the most kills, points, etc, to help them get out of the lower ranks.

Because right now they have no motivation to try if their whole team is losing. Since, to them, trying will still result in the same amount of points lost since they believe they are losing the match anyway.

P.S. Maybe there should be a minimum requirement per each match point (6 kills and beyond to get a match point for most kills (if on your team you have the most kills of 6 or above), etc.). And as you get up the ranks the minimum gets raised higher.

I liked what they had done in Bloodstone Fen with the ascended jewelry/backpack. Why not finish it with S3 E6 finale episode map making the ascended jewelery (at least the accessory) have the same ability to change the stats by purchasing an item to reset them? In this way we wouldn’t really need legendary jewelry (honestly we could do without all the particle effects, stick to infusions there).

Any chance you could remove the Daily automated tournament? No offense but it is not like most people will be able to join this. Need a 5 man team. Need to be there at a certain time of day. You kind of limit the options to do this one and it’s not really fair to the majority of PvPers. At the least why not make it where they are open period and if, for example, you join Balthazar’s Brawl you cannot join it again for 24hrs (and same for the others. At least then anyone can do the daily. Eh, what do I know. It’s just a bad daily though. Gotta be there at a certain time with a 5 man premade or your outta luck.

I would say the armor should be like the stat change on blood ruby trinkets you can get from Bloodstone Fen. Where, instead of buying a Bloodstone Capacitor for 100 unbound magic, you would buy a WvW capacitor for 100 badges of honor or proofs of heroics.

In this way you can get whatever stat changes you want for a minimal cost with just this set of particular armor.

I like how they introduced a new armor set per weight class in a couple of HoT maps from this last expansion. Hoping for the same in this one except one per each map would be nice.

What I would like to see in Living Story season 4 that we get a full set of armor skins by the end of it. This season we are ending with 6 episodes; if it is the same with LS4 why not give one piece of a full set of armor per episode rather than the occasional glove or shoulder piece.

When this 2nd set of legendary weapons are finished and when new LS episodes continue on…. Will we get the start of a 3rd set of legendary weapons?

Crying out loud such whining. These changes are said to be permanent. Queues will most likely go back to the way they were after a few weeks to a couple months. Right now is just the big hype train. Enjoy the queues and be smart and go do map comp, or dailies, or something while waiting.

Lower the Rank Requirement for Armor

I passed 2k this weekend so I’m feeling pretty good about the req :^)

Had to laugh here. =oP

As to the rank needed to craft that final set. It does seem excessive but… When I had seen the Hellfire piece in the unlock wardrobe you get from the BL chests I was disappointed in Anet to say the least (luckily it was a mistake). There is no way I can complain about how high you need to go to get that final set. I have been playing this game since release. It took me this long and less than 1k away from reaching the 30k achievements to finish my radiant set. Being able to wear that set will be a big highlight of my gw2 career. I earned it.

You want that sublime triumphant set? You go and earn it. It is not something that should practically be handed to you. I am going for it myself. By the way I’m rank: 296 (I think).

At least this is what I would predict. It says in the new post we got for wvw that, one way to level up our skirmishing rewards is to command a squad of at least 5 people. Well, if that’s the case there should be a lot of tags up and running to earn those pips towards skirmishing rewards, myself included.

Should Anet have added this? I wonder how this will pan out. We’ll see soon enough i guess.

Armor set per Living Story

Instead of the occasional shoulder, glove, or head piece that we get in an episode of LS why not give us one piece of an armor set per episode. This season we had 6 episodes that would have been a full set of armor skins we could have had. So for Living Story season 4 let’s have that. One piece per episode giving us one set of armor that can be used for all three weight classes.

So far the past 3 legendary weapons we have gotten have been based in a large part off their respective Living Story they came out with. Ember Bay had Eureka, Bitterfrost had Shooshadoo, and now Lake Doric has HMS Divinity. This begs the question if the rest of the legendary weapons we get will follow suit and if so does that mean we can expect 9 more LS’s, a possible 18 to 27 months before completing the whole set?

Old Lion's Arch Pass

They should just implement a sort of phasing in the game where you go to the old Lion’s arch if your current story step is pre-LW2. Pre 80 players would always go to the old LA, while 80 players would have a choice.

It would cost a lot more to do this than just make an instance pass that allows people to enjoy old LA.

1. It will affect the sigil and rune markets negatively.
2. It doesn’t get rid of the actual problem, just for legendary weapons which is unfair.

How many people do you believe will have legendary armor? Do you know hard it is to get a group together? Let alone a decent group that can beat the raid wings over and over again to get the 150 legendary insights needed? There will not be a lot. Legendary weapons are easier to get but still rather costly. People will still play with ascended armor/weps which need sigils and runes. I know I will still be playing my toons with ascended gear I even have exotic gears for them with different looks and skins so I can enjoy more of Fashion Wars 2. Getting sigils and runes on legendary gear will hardly be a detriment to the market. What’s making most of the sigils/runes not worth much are the meta builds that are suggested to use for PvX that is all.

What would be unfair is legendaries NOT getting the swapable sigil/runes added to them. Then, people will not use them to their maximum ability because they will have to continually add to the cost of the legendary if they want to get the maximum use out of them. To continually have to spend more and more EVERYTIME you want to use your legendary gear with a different setup. To continually look at the beautiful gear you made and think I can really only use it this way. People who make legendary gear do not always have enough to change sigils and soon runes every single time their build gets nerfed or another one buffed. Some people spend every cent they got making their legendary and that’s it. They set it up one way and if that setup gets destroyed (like so often happens) they cannot change it. They cannot afford to change it. Are you saying then “tough luck? You should have thought of that before you made said legendary? Maybe you should learn from this and not make another legendary again?”

Builds WILL get nerfed. New builds WILL come along. Expenses will only build with the creation of legendary weapons and people will be less and less willing to make them due to a continual growth in cost after they are made if they are not given the swaps in sigils/runes that they have with stats.

I reiterate, it’s not easy to make a legendary item. It is even more difficult to make the armor due to getting groups together to CONTINUALLY raid with. Why make having a legendary harder to enjoy by not having the swapable stats AND sigils/runes?

That’s actually an interesting idea. I don’t think it could be a personal instance because an entire city sized instance per person is a bit much, but I could see it as an ongoing instance that you need that item to get into. And I know some people would pay to have the option to revisit old LA when they want to.

It’s not a bad thing at all. The cost and time people put into these weapons only to have to continually buy a sigil replacement in order to maximize damage due to different stats needed on a different class can become too costly. People do not just make legendary weapons (and soon armor) just for the skin but also for the stat changes. And think about legendary armor. What is the point in having a stat swap in it when you would have to continually CHANGE the runes you are using? It would get rather pricey and in certain cases time consuming to do this. Think about mesmers needing Leadership runes? They cost 75 Proofs of heroics or 100 crystalline ore a piece and you honestly think they should have to continually get these if they want to swap their legendary armor to a condi setup for their necro or berserker setup for their ele? It is not like everyone is going to get legendary weapons/armor. The majority of players most likely will not get them. So there should not be a shortage on demand for runes and sigils.

Of course the majority will not get them. That should go without saying.

If lack of sigil swap makes stat changing unappealing then, by definition, people who pursued legendaries, knowing that sigil swap did not exist, did so for the skin.

Which means there should be no harm in them adding selectable sigils/runes to legendaries. This makes them all the more desirable and not just for the skin. I have seen plenty of people who hate the skins but like the stat swap and reskin them. I for one use the Super Warhorn over the Howler I got and wouldn’t you know, my necro uses it both for condi and power. It gets expensive to continually replace the sigils and so I just do not and in so doing lose out on dps. This is something that legendary weapons (and soon armor) should not have to face.

I have royal terrace pass myself and love it. I also really enjoy the new look of LA but it would be great to create an Old LA pass that takes you to an instance of the old LA to enjoy and explore as well as to use. And though things may not be conveniently located being where they were at in Old LA I think it’s worth the nostalgia.

P. S. When you exit Old LA it would either leave you in new LA or leave you where you originally were.

Title says enough. The new outfit is the proof. Atleast give us an option to hide it. I dont want a completly different outfit only because I change from male to female. The more people will ask for no more buttcapes, well maybe someone does sth about it. Shouldnt be that hard to remove it per option.

Okay, did I miss something? I thought it was 1200 ascended shards of glory for the SEASON not the week. I know you can continually get the upper half of the rewards afterwards. When you reach the final chest you’d just continually get that llama over and over and that’s it. Not the ascended shards of glory beneath that. That is just a one time thing if I am right.

Gee, I thought this would be about the history of the guild wars that happened ages ago and how it should be brought back. Things that would be neat to add would be guild dungeons where you would have a 5, 10 even 15 man guild dungeon where you fight a giant boss or split up and each group fights a mini boss and all have to finish at a certain time. Maybe even add leaderboards for it. Maybe you get this dungeon by leveling up your guild as we do now.
An easier thing would be adding guild events to holiday seasons and such that we have now to get items and such or even opening up mini dungeons (like that Layer of the snowmen dugeon from GW1).

I envy those that have hit the cap. Not having a tick in the back of my mind telling me I’m missing out on an easy 10 AP would be refreshing on days I just don’t feel like playing.

Lucky us? You joking? I still need over 1500 AP to get my 30k chest and finish my radiant set. Lucky us? Heck no I want my daily AP back. You are not missing out days for an extra 10 ap. You are just delaying the inevitable END a day longer.

Eh, Braham’s blinded by his grief, simple as that. He shouldn’t die because of it. Marjory’s merely wanting to be a better fighter to be of more help to finishing off the elder dragons, so I can see why she wouldn’t take no for an answer.

But, I would like to give Braham a good beat down. Maybe the devs can have an instance where we do end up fighting him and putting him in his place. Make him a hard “boss type” that we can fight. Heck even put a leaderboard of it of who can take him down the fastest.

Whenever I am redoing the look of my toons with makeover/hairstyle kits I often find myself wondering how that look would go with the clothes/weapons I am wearing in my wardrobe. The only way you can do this is by using transmutation charges and just hoping it matches well.

So, why not put the wardrobe in the total makeover and hairstyle kits? Or, at the very least, could you add this to the Aesthetician (makeover preview) NPC. This way we can look over our toons to match them better with the kits we use.

P. S. Just in case you did not know or forgot, you can just click and reclick the Hide Armor option, at the moment, to view what you may have changed on your clothes.

I find that I do not do dailies anymore since the achievements were removed. Why did you cap them to begin with? There has never been an answer to this. It is not something that should have been removed and I hope the amount of people (and hopefully more) will continue to protest for the cap removal.

These 10 AP helped motivate me to do things like WvW which I rarely touch and then continue on and do the PvP dailies and the others. It is the same with a lot of people I know who have capped: Why bother? They are a small goal. They help motivate you towards more.
