25 might adds 875 power/attack bloodlust is another 250. That means only 3.4-3.5k normally.

No, you don’t. Click your own build link because I’m not going to remake it for you.

Remove food buffs. Remove signet of might as you are activating it to make your killshots unblockable. The 3754 tells me you don’t have the infusions your link says you have so remove those too. 3574 attack which would be 3604 if you didn’t have 1 random knight earring. (you also have a soldier backpiece)

Banner isn’t something you can reliably have when you can’t equip a banner but with it you should be looking at more like 5250 (5084attack 50% crit chance 109% crit dmg without banners).

Edit: You could also push this all even higher with empower allies/spotter.

Ascended rings didn’t make exotic rings useless….and ascended weapons won’t make exotic weapons useless. The stat difference is pretty negligible.

An exotic knight’s amulet gives 273 stats total

An ascended knight’s amulet gives 296 stats.

That is almost 8% higher. Do that across all of you gear and it will add up. That doesn’t consider what new infusions will do to weapons, which we don’t know yet.

Currently, the +23 stats is insignificant when compared with the sum of all the stats on your full set of gear. That’s why Ascended hasn’t made too much impact at the moment. However, fully Ascended set (armor, trinkets, weapons) will likely be around 8% better than a fully Exotic set. That’s pretty significant, particularly in WvW.

And don’t forget PvE mobs will be made harder to compensate, so: treadmill.

It’s not 8% overall. You start with 916 in the basic stats. You get 1600 stats from traits. You have runes. You have boons/stacking sigils/signet passives.

So I repeated the test… I’m completely naked so no idea why there’s slightly higher numbers (0 might, 916 power). Looks like either lbow’s or golems got slightly tweaked at some point.

That has absolutely nothing with somebody’s finish still going off while your character’s standing up animation is happening.

And I would kick anyone that I was sure running MF gear instead of contributing to running the dungeons. At least Apothercary, and PTV gear characters would be able to face tank a boss for a given time. MF gear does absoluting nothing for the group and only helps the individual wearing it.

While somebody is face tanking a boss, everybody else just died. Every bit of survivability you add to yourself you are increasing the length of the fight and boosting the damage the boss can get off on everybody around you. There are also lots of things in this game you can’t tank regardless of stats but all of this is kinda off topic.

People really think this is about nerfing farming? This is being done because of the great amount of conflict and divisiveness it was causing in the player base. If anything, this is letting people have their cake and eat it too. All the people who didn’t rely on MF will now get to have some, and people who relied solely on it won’t have to, and both groups won’t have to fight about whether or not it’s fair that someone is using MF gear.

Like why? I could still kick all non zergers from my party with the exact same argument. Hell, who even used MF gear in dungeons? MF is useless in dungeons.

I’m fairly certain this was only ever implied by players with an OP wishlist who wanted their account MF to be equal to the sum of the MF on all their MF sets across all characters as compensation, not anet devs.

Considering celestial gear gets more crit dmg than any other piece of gear in the game… we should totally fix the stats by lowering that.

how much gold can you earn in a month? that’s how much an item set cost for which you need a month to craft.
If you farm for a month getting enough gold, then buy the item, it is a time investment. Unless you pay to win with gems.

It didn’t take you a month of effort, it took you 30 seconds per day. You’re also getting 3-18 quartz crystals and 0-6 charged crystals per day from your 3 swings. Every hit gives 1 crystal plus a chance of giving another 5 and a chance of giving 1 or 2 charged. The supply in the TP is only being used up by people who are making charged and have run out of regular. These people aren’t even using up 25 per day each and most will stop when they have crafted the things they want. It’ll be a while before that supply drops significantly unless new uses are brought in.

How are they nerfing farming if the best farms are not mf based?

Actually, it’s not. See how can throw out an opinion and claim it’s gospel? The gold and time investment was/is substantial.

It literally is, the gold cost of making celestial inscriptions/insignias is below that of all others. The rest of the mats are the same.

They already do in current dungeons. You can no longer skip the spider in AC because the spider’s death now unlocks the next event. They just need to make Alphard/Brie not appear until Lupi dies.

Nono, that’s making the game itself require proper progression, what I’m saying is have it mark your account if you completed a dungeon instance without going through proper progression so they can investigate and ban. Of course they could just actually get around to integrating the same system they put into everything else back when you could do 3 path hotw without touching any of the events.

Third, most adults tend to get decently scheduled jobs because they have things like children that require supervision and feeding at decent hours of the day. So unless your entire NA population was working in the operating room…

People tend to try and play on a server that matches there time zone if possible. Of course, if you bandwagon to a server your choices may be more limited.

The real world has traffic and late nights at work, especially at the start of the work week. If you ever progress from job to career you might understand these concepts.

I can’t speak for Khunvyel, but I think 20 levels is excessive because there are far too many ways to level to 80 without actually learning the character. So, we end up with players who have no clue how to play their level 80 effectively.

And how long do these players exist in this ‘ineffective’ state? A day of play? 2 days? Learning to play a class doesn’t take very long. I don’t think this is enough reason to keep these scrolls from simply granting +20 levels.
No one who has earned one of these scrolls is NEW to the game. They know what’s up.

That is a state of the elitists running dungeons and not willing to accept that viable doesn’t mean optimal. That has nothing to do with someone who doesn’t know how to play their class, or the game.

That’s cool, I’ll laugh at your corpse while I solo the boss then. I don’t mind. I won’t res you though, cause the only thing that gets me killed in dungeons is ressing the shmoes who thing dodge is the only answer to everything.

Me I have damage resistance, massive regen and invulnerability on top of my two dodges. You feel that damage is the only answer, but one misstep and you’re out. I do a bit less damage, but take much more to go down.
