If you get diminishing returns with power, that would mean there would be a greater DPS benefit to adding 100 power to a low power warrior than to a high power warrior. THAT IS NOT THE CASE. As I stated in my example, adding 100 power in either case would add an additional 28 damage per swing. The increase in output is not decreased because you gave the extra 28 damage to one over another. It nets you the same flat party dps increase whether you make the warrior that already hits hard hit harder, or a warrior who hits like a wet noodle hit like a less wet noodle. They both hit harder for the same amount.

No, I said VR didn’t even have 30 online, that’s including nonrepping and people not in WvW. What’s cut out of that is clearly my chat and skill bar… and again, we’re still on the map, you can ask DB’s golems to verify. You left, we wiped the other server at our other keep. Sorry, it’s not always about you even tho you’re t1.5 and the rest of us are only t2 and t3.

Even with nova you had numbers on us, you also had plenty of pugs (why so many upscales?).
o.O VR doesn’t even have 30 online, but close, and there were 0 ac’s. You were rez rushing at briar, I know because I was the one trebbing cows for lulz and got more than a queue of bags while watching your guilds run back into the fight.

As for traited banners, while decent, is no where near the efficiency of running “Empower Allies” having a 150 power boost (8% according to Nike) for your whole team. However if another Warrior is already running “Empower Allies” then I would take Traited Banners.
With the amount of running in dungeons, i wouldn’t take traited banners if you can figure out when to summon it.
It would be inherently unfair for Condition Builds to be as effective as Direct Damage builds.
The reason is that Condition Damage, by its nature, only requires one or two stats to be effective: Condition Damage to raise your damaging condition’s effectiveness, and Precision to proc on-crit Conditions that many classes seem to have.
By contrast, a Direct Damage build is only effective if it dedicates all three stats to damage: Power, Precision, Critical Damage.
Understand that in the PvP world, this is actually a huge problem. Condition Damage is the meta because those with Condition Damage are able to still deal effective damage while retaining one or two survivability stats.
Berserker characters sacrifice everything to deal damage while condition characters can give up only 1 or 2 stats to still deal damage.
The meta for dungeons and stats is completely fair and people need to stop kittening about it. People that want to play Condition builds all just want to get around the no-survivability stats of a Berserker build while doing Berserker level damage. That’s pretty dumb, in my opinion. Condition Damage’s inherent upside is that it lets you build a character that is notably sturdier than a Berserker build. To me, you should have to pay a price for such survivability, and doing much less damage seems like a fair tradeoff.
No, berserker builds don’t give up anything because aegis and prot and blinds and reflection walls exist, nullifying the damage you would take extra for not having defensive stats in case you were too dumb to dodge or unable to.
What people like you don’t seem to understand is that a surplus of survival is never good. You only need to bring enough survival/utility to not die and kill the boss before it kills you. You want to keep survival stat stacking to a minimum, since it has diminishing returns while offensive stats are never too much.

Too bad guang just makes claims and never presents any form of numbers or tests or consideration for what sticking an engi next to 3 warriors with their arms 5 trait does to the engi’s bleeds (pre-trait change) which, by his own assertions, are important to engi dps.
engis can also stack the crap out of vuln, but that’s lost in pug parties where vuln either shows up by itself or is ignored entirely cuz it’s not “MOAR DEEPS”

Brazil’s just picking on your wording saying ele can replace all warriors because you didn’t run with spotter/frost spirit.
No1’s going to argue for warrior stacking in an actually meta group, but it does work very well for the pugs that can’t manage to wrap their heads around more complicated tactics. Just getting one of the other 4 guys to carry the 2nd banner would be enough of a chore.

Warrior bursts are neat in that the range is absolutely incredible. A 14k crit can be a high hit for a glass warrior, but if one really wants to pull out the numbers 20k+ is possible.

But the thing is i am neither of those classes and when i ask guards to bring shields they probably don’t have one because it seems like this ‘reflect’ mechanic is totally useless outside a few situations.
I have NOTHING against hard content and nice challenges that guilds can have some fun trying to solve. But this is a dungeon, and part of the Dungeon Master achievement imo it should be up to par with other dungeons so that people who just want some completion can get it.
I hope that some people can understand my logic on this one. I personally understand this dungeon and think it would be easy if everyone knew what to do. But that’s the problem, no one knows what to do.But yeah i guess I will have to wait until i can get some uber leet group set up full of speed runners and over-the-top-try hards that when things go wrong they find the nearest person to blame.
Those are both guardian skills, you had a guardian. He used wall of reflect so you still got hit by a few shots because it’s a LINE not a DOME. The issue isn’t the content, it’s that guy in your party having no understanding of how his class can block. I’m betting others in your party could also contribute to a block cycle, they just don’t know their class that well or don’t swap utilities mid dungeon ever.

If you want to be a valuable member of the team, you need to time you abilities rather than simply button mash. If you are not using your stuns to interrupt or prevent casting at key points, the problem isn’t with your CC of choice.
Stuns are not meant to be substantially different than knockback/down, fears or dazes
And fears can last 5 seconds so mace f1 needs to be boosted to 5 seconds. amiright?
Kinda silly if you have to bypass the whole boss by reflecting and dpsing the boss down before it moves.
