It already has the same coefficient as a 3 bar Eviscerate. Which has the same damage as Final Thrust when the foe has <50% hp.
As for your “no one uses it in PvE” argument: I am running Sword/Axe and I think it’s awesome. Fills my adrenaline bar in 3 seconds flat.

The simple fact of the matter is that if a dungeon path/boss can’t be done by a well balanced, skilled, coordinated group, then it’s broken. If you have to go get an NPC killed to make 50% of the listed strategies work, then it’s broken. Nightmare Tree in F/U is broken. The only way to beat it is with gimmicks and builds, or getting lucky and having him bug so when he spams his egg attack, no silvers spawn.
The salt in the wounds is Anet saying that not enough people are running all the paths of a dungeon. Maybe, oh, I dunno, if the paths and bosses were balanced more people would run them more than once for the achievment.
Yeah, but using reflection isn’t something that is exclusive to ubergroups. Pugs can use them too.
Actually I’m not sure if some class have reflect. All those uber groups somehow have guardian and mesmer.
Thief has Smokescreen, Mesmer has Feedback / Warden / Temporal Curtain, Guardian has Wall / Shield / Zealot’s Defense / Sanctuary, Ranger has Whirling Defense, and I’m sure that there are plenty of others that I can’t think of.
They are either not on par or they are not a popular weapon choice. You are expecting a PUG with ranger using an axe, or an elementist using a focus. They are called a PUG for a reason.
I was running fotm10 on dredge boss. And the 2 warrior in my group dont’ even carry a range weapon. Not that it is impossible to melee, but for those 2 warrior they should have carry a range weapon.
Well those aren’t warriors. I have a fractal exotic equipment bag of weapons. It only has 1 empty slot when I’m running 2 2handers so I can find an exotic item I looted quickly and move it to the back end of my rare equip bag and it keeps my offhand weapons (mostly shield or mace) from moving to the top of my entire inventory when they get unequipped. If you’re gonna play weapon master, play weapon master.

Completely agree with OP. Warrior is decent now, so we need more viable builds.
I never ever put any points into strength after BP got moved.
putting BP and HF to 30 is more of a overall huge damage nerf for all builds for warrior.

What I would do leveling usually worked out to something like fill adrenaline if empty, bunch up as many npcs as i could pull into 1 group, pindown (penetrates), LBow f1, arcing arrow, smoldering arrow, swap to gsword, whirl thru, and finish off what’s left.

I play this game, because it’s the sequel to the game that I drew a lot of enjoyment from via it’s challenges, combat, lore, and stories. Guild Wars was, and Guild Wars 2 is the only game that I play with any regularity (Guild Wars 2 is my first MMO), but I do enjoy each new release of Halo too because I find the characters, story, and gameplay compelling.
So if you like gamePLAY why do you want to gamepay and sit in LA?

Well unless their plan to stop “farming” is to make the bosses in dungeons drop cash/loot once per day. that would bring CoF P1 to a screeching halt since after the first run, you will get no more cash or loot till it resets the next day. This would force people to have to play other dungeons. Of course the question is will the DR be character based or acct based.

Don’t give credit where credit isn’t due.As for your other points, you can revamp a dungeon as much as you want to make it the most interesting and involved fight there is. But as long as its a farmable exp path people are just going to run it to death and complain about how easy and boring it is. There’s not a whole lot wrong with the current dungeons, they’re just old, and easy tactics have been mastered long ago. All that’s left is fine tuning in the effort to shave a few seconds off.

I’d like to know how much maguuma spent on AC’s this week. I remember clearing bay of surperior AC’s during a failed attack only to return a few minutes later and they had built another bunch of them. Every keep or castle we approach is greeted with a hail of arrows.

For “protection” need use active skills.
Warrior has a passive treatment at 2-4% hp in sec.
Not a passive, a heal slot skill. They have no source of actual recovery healing if they’re spiked.

To get more gold you need an actual enemies that drop it. And after removing guaranteed dungeon gold drop there’s not many places you can actualy use it.
Are you sure you aren’t taking the phrase “gold find” literally? All enemies have a chance to drop “gold.” Gold being the mainstream in-game currency; equaling copper, silver, and gold respectively. The concept is very simple. The more gold find you have, the more of each of these 3 you’re able to gather per drop. So gold find will have the exact same uses as it has before the patch.

That’s because you’re comparing a common mob to a champion. The fastest time I’ve seen a champion go down is 15 seconds. The fastest I’ve seen common mobs go down is less than a second.
You only kill 2 champions on a CoF1 speed run so magic find is what’s really earning you money. On the other hand, the shelter’s gate event spawns at least hundred. I would say at least a third of them drop money. 1.34 silver here and there add up quickly, especially if you have gold find.
I would do the math for you but, really, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that gold find is mostly wasted in dungeons. Yes, you see bigger numbers for the gold you receive in dungeons but you skip most of the common mobs while doing so which is why you’ll make less than you would at any “defend this area” dynamic event. But don’t take my word for it.
I have a guild mate that can make 3 gold from half of the meta event chains for one path leading up to Balthazar’s temple. Compare that to CoF1.
Compare running across the entire zone pushing events twice to 6 minutes in CoF… hm…

If CC actually meant anything then that would probably also appear in the optimal counter to the 1-shotting content.

I tried a healing shout build with adrenal health in PvE and can take an incredible amount of punishment. I don`t even bother dodging most of the time.

The min value of 1g and the max value of 3g does not represent the disparity between the min effort to run a dungeon and the mas effort to run a dungeon. If you’re going to give me 1g to run CoF in several minutes, you’re going to have to do better than 3g to get me to run arah.
1g for 6 minutes or 3g for 15 minutes… or 4g for 21 minutes

Sure, lowering the damage would drop the bursting to a reasonable level but that wouldn’t be a reasonable solution because now we have the sustained dps of a ranger bear pet.
Three weapon sets would just lead to mace/hammer cc’ing or pindown/arcing arrow swapping to 100b, swapping to shieldbash->eviscerate (or back to your CC weapon if they’re going to escape from shieldbash→eviscerate).

Base 50% + 62% from gear + 30% from traits + 10% from consumable + 15% from banner + 12% from orbs + 10% from Axe Mastery = 189%. I just rounded up to 200% because like I said, rough estimates..
You can get 70% from gear (ascended) and a bit more with celestial but no one equips celestial armour/weapons.
Equipping celestial for crit dmg is like equipping runes of rage for crit dmg.
Well sentinel gear is like 24g per piece of armor…
Fire/lightning scale on power, sigil of battle cooldowns will conflict.

sigil of para on mace, bloodlust on shield, since you will be mainly stunning with mace.Your giving up 15% crit damage for 10% damage on bleed, no thanks.
10% more damage on all hits is doing more for you than 15% more crit damage. To put it in perspective, if you crit with that 15% more crit dmg you do 2x normal damage (1.5+0.5), with 10% more damage you’re doing 1.1*(1.5+.35) = 2.035 so you already get more damage on your crits PLUS the extra damage on all your regular attacks (also raising your crit chance 11.9%).
