Ya how dare they fix that exploited event! Grab the pitchforks and torches!
You’re asking for more things to be nerfed because you can’t just sit there and hit 2. You just wrote up above that the only way through that you can see is to just use dead bodies (on all 4 switches? I haven’t even seen pugs that kamikazee).
They’re terrible because… you can’t manage to do them? Give reasons, not vague claims.

Without siege as is then wvw just becomes zerging. Siege requires setting up and being protected against other siege, providing a method for small groups to hold points against larger forces.
Something tells me you play a necro…
Oh, another problem though is that most of them are still using Axe OFFHAND as well. I try to tell them “hey axe 5 is lower DPS than autoattacking, just FYI”. But they just. keep. on. using it. /headslamintodesk
They’re still reading builds from before life steal food was nerfed. It’s the same as all the d/d eles that run around built for when sigil of battle had no internal cooldown.
50 isn’t high enough for you?
There are dredge that grab bombs after you deploy them, disarming them.
perma swiftness on a signet passive? ya that would be awesome, because it would be OP…
you could just run dungeons with people on other servers…
A use people would probably like a lot more for minipets&loot is if they auto looted for you and when your inventory fills, instead of you getting that encumbered status with an item waiting for you to accept, the mini holds onto it and that 1 item blocks them from picking up more.
Also the stats on the existing sets require you take pieces from multiple temples to get something worth wearing, if they had different skins then every1 using them for stats would probably need to reskin :\
Dredge fractal:
-Can no longer walk along the edge of the cage to bypass the first two pressure plates
This change right here makes no sense. The gap you jump into from that ledge was clearly placed INTENTIONALLY, the top of the cage lowers right in front of the ledge to allow you to jump in. This was clearly sneaking in a window instead of blasting down the front door. It was a hole in the security setup by the dredge. Closest thing fractals had to some form of real game mechanics and they throw it away.
The bayonet would just be part of the class specific skills, just like a warrior’s greatsword isn’t a laser gun but a mesmer’s is. This doesn’t sound different enough from a rifle engi.
They give real loot. You should focus your attention on all those spawns on cliffside and grawl that give 0 but are required kills anyway.

Again, stuns do not move enemies, launch and knockback do. Nobody walks into an ele stun field and flies away.
Sirendor they’re talking about pvp.
In what way does toughness NOT already reduce the damage you receive? Wouldn’t it make significantly more sense for you to just ask for toughness to scale better than to ask for it to alter only crits?
First, all the complaints about berserkers (and even speed runs) should go away.
Now you’re not making sense, npc and player defenses scale differently. You do LOADS more when you hit npcs so clearly they lack the armor to receive the same benefits as a player.
Second, condition damage will be important again.
Condition damage is crippled by condition mechanics. The caps on stacks and non-condition build characters taking up space in those stacks is the issue.
(edited by Player Character.9467)
I looked up a few of what you have listed at random, they definitely do have a part on each shoulder it’s just different because your arms have different purposes. What you’re asking for would then require that shoulders either become 2 separate item slots, creating new items for all of those asymetric skins, or have so many options that you would have 9 different setups for how your shoulders look from 1 item. That’s pretty silly.
(edited by Player Character.9467)
I’m not sure you know what a stun is… stuns are completely stationary (in fact stun blocks movement, this is the difference between a stun and a daze) and most of them are already a second. Also pushing a boss backwards through whoever was smart enough to be BEHIND it means your squishy melee is now out of position and since they have the boss targeted the game won’t let them walk straight through it so they probably just had to waste a dodge to get back to the other side of it to avoid any cleaving attacks.

What about 80ies? I have one 80level character and I like to explore and I’d like to reveal and explore every corner of the map. XP reward is not interesting for me so there’s no need to kill the mobs untill there’ll be something like cumulative percentage of rare drop (not much, I’d expect up to 1%) for 80lev characters.
Sorry I’m justta stupid girl but I ment something very simple like
If character_level < 80 then XP_reward
Else rare_item_chance
End IfSee? Even I can do that
80’s continue to level, accumulated skill points have many uses.
I’d probably come down on the side of set a time and stick to it. Use Engineer Scotty’s logic if you have to and overestimate the time, then delay the patch until the announced time if it’s finished before then. That would allow people to make informed decisions and stop frustration from missing out on something from a unluckily timed patch.
When it’s a hot fix for an exploit they’re not going to push it back, that would be kittened.
Guild challenges.
Necromancer:
An AoE autoattack cleave on one of their weapon sets – the axe feels like it was made for this.
o.O you want necro axe auto to be a 600 range cleave that stacks vuln up to 12 on 5 targets?….
And if you would use a keyboard somehow with a console, you basically have a computer with a flat screen.
You still usin a CRT over there?
It’s legendary because it’s not a “Veteran Searing Effigy” or a “Champion Searing Effigy”
No it isn’t.
having in mind that it’s one of their selling points? Yes it is.
Did you stop reading his post at that point? It’s like looking at a political attack ad. CONTEXT
They mean ‘WvW skills’ not ‘skills’

please record some footage of you doing 19K bleeds in magic find, toughness and vitality gear -_-
You must have completely misunderstood me and Dub since you demand a video of that.
no, I’m serious. If you make a statement that you can do 20K bleeds with no condition damage, please, do prove it.
Greatsword + sword/sword + rampager + bleed duration = add a 20K bleed (it’s continuous damage so you don’t have to re-apply it for quite a while), swap, do 100 blades, etc. Easily 40 to 50K in damage.
Now why is that kind of build inferior to straight damage again?Cause if you get another class that is on condition bleed build you both can’t put max DPS cause of bleed stack.
and 100b itself is 40k dmg in a straight damage build
It even says on it that you can’t wear it in combat… are you the kind of person that spills coffee on themselves and is then confused as to why you got burned?
“Oh hey I see a ______ up ahead, time to switch to build #X so I’m already perfect to counter him.”
I wouldn’t call Rampager pathetic on damage – you have as much pure damage as a knight, plus full condition damage. You end up with 19K bleeds on top of raw damage.
You can do 19k bleeds with wayfarer.
throwing an entire zone on some1’s head only does 19k bleeds? kitten those dredge musta tunneled it a ton…
Reasons?
Your in a city, been in a city is mainly for:
1) Relaxing
2) Talking/etc
3) Walking around
4) Learning how to become a chef,etc.
5) etc….
FTFY
So don’t, there’s already the option for you to use your 80 to get gold, and turn that gold into exp using crafting. Current tp costs and the dynamic crafting guides puts that at about 10h of farming (not counting what you get from selling your crafts) to get the money for leveling 1 character to 80 if you do it right.
Edit: It also shouldn’t take you 120 hours to get to 80 if all you were trying to do is level…
(edited by Player Character.9467)
Krosslite are you trying to compare 1 2hander to 1 1hander?… I’m pretty sure there isn’t some magical imbalance between 2handers and SETS of 1handers that nobody but you has noticed.
… Okuza read back through that conversation…
Feedback is a situational utility skill that you can use. Just because it happens to do considerable amounts of damage on one particular boss does not mean Mesmer is the strongest PvE class.
That and it’s not the only reflect, if you really JUST wanted reflect then trait wardens, 100% uptime reflect.
(edited by Player Character.9467)
Cripple/chill/immobilize will never be useful when a group can melee it better. Enemy mobs do not move if both the player and the mob are in melee range.
What makes you think chill isn’t good for melee fights? It slows attack cds too.
Also, knockdowns and blinds.
I had no idea. I thought weapon swapping was disabled for engineers specifically to prevent this. (Why else would they single out one class and not let them swap weapons?) Thanks for the info!
ele’s don’t either
Buy gems, convert to gold, buy materials, craft your way to 80. Wouldn’t even cost you 40€, more like 10-15.
and the last thing we need is more people that have no idea how to play their classes, the amount that the demands of the casuals drags down the skill level of the game via nerfs is bad enough, don’t need people who just started the game showing up in arah p4
(edited by Player Character.9467)
Mesmer-warrior-thief doesn’t form a trinity, warriors and thieves are both taken as dps classes and for might stacking (thieves via blast finishers). The third leg of the trinity is a guardian for fights where you can’t just zerg it down so you put in a guardian, get more boons going (particularly well timed aegis and anything to boost the empowered trait), increase how long the group can sit in the face of the boss, and boost how much damage you can output before the boss can wear you down.
You’re an ele… use mist form…
Marcus you keep making numbered lists and forgetting to fill the numbers in…
Engineers can’t weapon swap anyway, so weapon swap sigils are completely useless to me.
kit swap
really anything that involves you changing weapon skills (ele attune, engi swap, grabbing a warrior banner or any other weapon that sits on the ground) with the exception being transformations (shrink/mist/rampage/animal forms/etc.) iirc
Stop killing Elementalists and buffing OP classes with shiny new traits and what not. I’m so serious.
Ya cuz ele’s didn’t need a nerf, 70% of people 1v1’ing at the mill definitely weren’t eles. [/sarcasm]
@Badjas
Trait lines are designed to not just hand you perfect stat setups for pure builds and plenty of other stats can be seen as dependent on others. Crit damage requires precision AND power to mean anything. Precision requires that you’re either using pow/crit dmg or on crit effects (typically cond dmg/dur related effects) to mean anything. You could even make the claim that toughness, healing power, and vitality depend on eachother because there’s a point on the line where 1 more bit of armor protecting your current health pool is less valuable than 1 more bit of hp protected by all of your armor (or the other way around) or the potential to heal 1 more bit of hp every X seconds and this is only because of the amount of each you already have.
If trait lines were ALL arranged so you could get T/V/HP on 1 line, pow/prec/crit dmg on 1 line, prec/cond dmg/dur on 1 line, it would be completely silly and only support pure builds.
Also, stop looking at trait lines only for stats, powerful minor/majors can mean so much more.

Ok so you just admitted that you don’t have 500 active and representing members? So what’s your problem? If you did then you could have THEM build the influence for the 2nd guild…
fine, make mounts, make them a 20% speed buff that doesn’t stack with anything else, make all skills unusable while mounted and any hit on you while mounted an insta crit and knockdown for being dismounted, now laugh at the people using mounts because they can’t manage to figure out how to
1) waypoint (seriously, it costs less than what you’ll get off of ONE enemy)
2) use swiftness and movement skills
so not only do you want mounts, you want flying mounts and for how the game handles zone walls to be completely changed…
‘redonk_dps.jpg’
could you at least save that file name for something where you break 6 figures? do some real damage? stop standing still and holding it back from getting to the next bucket when it’s still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high to burn because you’re wasting every1’s time? and are you seriously running fear me for a boss fight? wooo 1 CC every 80s…
’Why scrubs are amazing in FotM
The fail is always worth watching!’
Oh and nice signet warrior friends…
