Player caught bot or cheat if only suspend should also get account reset to no thing. Lose all gold, character, achievement, stuff. This way is between suspend and ban. If want to play again after suspend can do but have to start over. Do not do much good if cheater have 1,000 gold of thing in bank before they cheat and get to keep. Never know if they make that while cheat before caught. Make cheater start like new account if want to play again.

Cheater probably not person that buy gem with money. So no reason to welcome back after suspend unless just want number of people play GW2 for report. If you want this cheater back for number of player play GW2 then make start over with nothing on account.

Did you watch this? File that was save from their youtube video after they make private when Gaile prove cheat. They blame every thing on Anet and also on player where they say player report everyone for bot. So they blame Anet and GW2 player for ban. All the time he knew he cheat and use hack.

Short story, bad to make video blame Anet for ban and say not cheat. Then hide video when Anet prove cheat. Anet prove cheat. Then say how cheat and sorry only after caught.

This thread is good to show player that might consider cheat. Yes time to not flame cheater any more. But keep thread alive as warning to people like the person that cheat might want to try cheat program.

Just show how cheat can affect other and cause big problem. Thread is good to show this. In other word, this thread is advertise how cheat can cause big problem. Advertise how cheat will ruin every thing for player and how person cheat can make problem for other.

So was not some mistake about lag. Person admit they search for cheat program, find cheat program, ask how to get program, person give to them, they use and find coordinate to make work. This not some simple mistake where person just click some thing to see if it work. Person make plan to do this, found way, and did it. In many court this is call premeditated.

Cheater admit this they look for, find, and ask how to use cheat. Then got answer from some person give them cheat program. This is not some thing that can take seconds to make decision. This was a plan and execute by cheater over some time. Sorry for his luck but he is caught and admit cheater. Only sorry after prove cheat.

Sad thing is his sister if innocent caught with this lie and cheat. I do not feel sorrow for him after every thing he do and post. But do feel bad if sister is innocent. Hope it do not ruin relationship between them but can understand if she not trust him.

tl;dr You can blame all cheater that make fraud to steal gem for this, not Anet. They have to protect product from scammer.

I do not agree with title HoT fail. We do not know this. Only Anet will know this. But video even if was describe as rant I feel was very well thought review with both good and bad part of HoT. I agree with many thing person in video say. I do not remember if he comment about how many mob are all over HoT. This is one thing I hate about HoT. So many mob every where go always attack hard to enjoy explore map. It seem almost never get a break to stop and enjoy where are in map because always fight mob every where.

I’d love a dueling option, but a massive no thank you to gear checks. (PvP and WvW are not viable options due to build restrictions and server issues)

Dueling would have to be handled carefully as not to offend people, like something similar to GTA online, where you have the option to flag yourself as “combat ready” so players who weren’t interested could carry on with normal activities and not be effected by it.

There’s 0 reason to turn a PvE environment hostile, volatile and full of petulant attacks.

This. There exist now 3 place where people can PvP/duel. PvP, WvW and now guild hall arena. I think the guild hall arena was Anet compromise for those that want duel in PvE gear while also respect wish of those that want no thing to do with PvE duel. But for some player that is never enough and want to turn entire game into PvP/duel area. People that like PvP/duel now have 3 place to do this. Leave rest of PvE alone thank you.

Last I have to say on this old argue. Like I say I think Anet make guild hall arena as comprise for people want to duel in PvE gear after they see many people post they do not want open world duel.

Fact is he had to think about this some time and make effort to cheat. The cheat software with coordinate did not just show up in his computer and he press run just to see what happen. He admit he search for cheat software. He admit he ask about use the cheat software in some forum. He admit someone give him software. He admit he install software. He admit he then find coordinate to make cheat software work. He admit doing the cheat.

This is not some thing he did not have time to think about what he do. It take time and effort for him to do these things even before he run the software and cheat. Then when caught he say he did not think about all these thing he do and thought ban was for bot in winter jump puzzle. I do not feel sorry for this person. He is prove liar and cheat. He deserve ban.

If sister is innocent for real I do feel bad for her. If innocent because of brother lie and cheat she lose her game and reputation to. Maybe even damage relationship between her and brother.

Maybe will be hard for sister to prove innocent if she really is. She mention in video account that cheat (just admit this today) sent to her gold for Christmas. If account cheat send gold to other account with same IP it will look very suspicious. Or if she use same computer to play of account that had this cheat software install will also look very suspicious. If sister is innocent I think Anet will figure this out. But in video they make they say will never play GW2 again anyway then guess it do not matter.

Well I do not think Anet do just IP ban like this. I think they use some other information to see if other account from same IP should be ban. I see some times person banned post from alternate account on forum to argue about ban. Ban account can not post on forum so if IP ban alternate account would be ban too and can not post in forum.

You brother has to contact support. Not you. Anet will only talk account with account owner. You say he has serial code so that should help but he has to be one to work with support.

But not suppose to use CDI in thread title if player made post. Anet say in past it cause confusion with real CDI start by devs and might confuse player think it is topic dev looking into for idea. So in other word just make suggestion post but do not call it CDI.

If you talk about sever transfer from EU to NA you do not lose anything if you pay gem to transfer. If delete all character to transfer free put all thing want to keep in bank first. Guild hall claim mission in HoT map. So have to have HoT to do it.

Can transfer free by delete all character. Put every thing want to keep in bank first.
