Anet did send some gift some time ago to gem store customer. I think we got kite and some other thing I forget. Some people rage on forum about it though and say unfair. So they stop doing it.
Here is the kite example and rage it had. One person even call the kite badge of shame. This why we can not have nice thing.

They knew they have no chance to win! And unlike some other sports they do not have a manager, they do not have a boss to slap them on the face afterwards… They play because the are players. They were acting like a man who is fed up with all this unbalanced crap while the rules written by others failed and are unplayable….
It’s like playing as a midfielder in FIFA or the EC while every scorer is able to bring a 9mm pistol to the match…
Everyone else who is claiming “rage quit” and “unsportsmanlike” are just blindly agreeing with how leagues view unsportsmanlike conduct and being crybabies about it.

EDIT: Yes, we understand any ragequitting is poor sportsmanship and these actions are inexcusable. We understand that it is a privilege to play in proleague, but try to understand that the actions of some of our members do not reflect the rest of us or our team as a whole

The next comment after was “Twitch was thanking you for saving us from watching 15 minutes of one team ramming their head against a wall while the other just spams sustain and invulns that don’t prevent capture contribution.”
He can call what he did a ragequit, but in this case I say its more just realizing that you are about to be 2-0 just like every other losing team because they gave up the first cap and decided to just walk out and save everyone’s time in a broken game. Is frustration there? Likely, but its not gonna be a deciding factor as much as “Am I seriously about to waste 15 minutes again?”
“Sorry for the unprofessionalism but this game is hardly professional in its current state.” That’s the only unprofessional thing I have seen from Moob, but its not like he is wrong either when the proof is in the history of GW2’s PvP.
Well other people on that team in reddit also call it rage quit and poor sportsmanship. I guess you can call it what you want to fit you opinion. Seem like most agree it was rage quit though.

The problem is deep within the technology behind the forum structure itself. Yes, we had a search engine in the beginning, but it was broken by our forum contractor in the course of working on other things. We no longer have a relationship with that contractor or his company, and someone else is not able to step into the system and fix the search engine because (1) our programmers are tasked with other essential work, (2) the forums run on a web framework with which most of our programmers are not familiar and (3) we’re investigating other options for forums and it would not be prudent to pour money into hiring someone to fix this as a short-term solution.
Though Anet (un)official reddit forum has search. Anet devs post there.
But if insist on search the official forum I use this page some person made that make google search for each part of forum.

If you don’t like it more power to you, don’t watch, but it’s absolutely helping our marketing folks make Gw2 a bigger game which I’d hope we’re all excited about. If you want to see the game fail I’m not sure what you’re doing here, but rooting against programs like pro league is basically rooting against Gw2 growing. When folks come here and rip on stuff like PvP, you’re basically hurting the games ability to grow – and personally I would say shame on you, if you truly love the game, be constructive and give awesome feedback and suggestions: but don’t knock it just cause it’s not PvE.
So if love GW2 must like PvP esport. If not you want GW2 fail and should have shame for that.

Gives back 1-13 Empyrial Fragments and a random trash trophy without vendor value or recipe that requires it.Eats 50 emp frags per try.
Players will lap this up because they can get rid of their access emp frags until they realize that all those useless trash trophy items they get from it and keep hoarding, have no use at all and only eat up more inventory space.
On Aprils Fool Day next year, they introduce a new mystic forge recipe that needs 4 of these trash trophies and awards a stack of emp frags.
