I can f-all for Points but I do love this match-up. Wantedtoplay several Guilds here now for months and Iam getting Everything I wanted. Running in to old Allies like VII,TuP and HoB is a delight. Only issue is VII Thieves have me pegged out so feel the need to swap into a “coward-suite” but thats alright. Tnx for yesterday btw.

Dont Touch our Terror-ticks again aNet. Terror bin there from start and Terror is what belongs to a Class that worships the Dark & Deadly. Dhumfire was introduced and is Burning, when has Fire ever bin a ability suited for a Necro ? That belongs to Ele,Guardian and Engi.

Remove Dhumfire and give us something to boost Terror or Torment abilitys instead.

My apologies to guilds that were on SFR border tonight (GoW, Eqnx or whatevs, and others) I was leading a pugraid which i normally never do and a lot of people showed up. So we blobbed you hopelessly, tried to let your solo’s run away but pugs didnt listen that well. Hope we can meet in more equal numbers next time

No Worries we like to fight outnumbered but yea you kinda were abit to many yesterday. Still enjoyed the fights. And I have to say all during the week I liked the fights with SFR and Elona so dont know what the complaints is here on forums.

Iv seen big numbers and Before Iv seen Borderlands dead as deserts and tbh I prefer the numbers… even if you sometimes fight totally outnumbered atleast its fights.

When the GvG-Arena is introduce then we can finally shelf this WvW-Zergfest and see wich Guilds and Servers are really into “Blobs” and wich is not. SFR hasnt got to were they are by not being a Zerg server but come on Piken has gone same way, Ques and old-time Guilds leaving for lower tiers is a dead giveaway. Would be long gone aswell if I just didnt hold on tho the notion of sticking with your starter server, like Karak-Norn in WHO.

SFR is at the spot as nr1 for this very reason, hell SPRT Pikens biggest Guild moved there just cause of it despite ques from 11am forward. Lets just drop it.

#Ice yea that was fun but what I meen is I can tdestinguish any Guild in SFR. We only sea and OCean of players and then its over. Was a fun somewhat wierd GvG practice vs you guys, like it. Tho u had 2 adds from CAH.

Its just more fun to fight Elona imho, vs them u can see the individual Guilds- So fighting Elona is what I like more just saying.

Yea Vayle was fun GoW had around 16 members (18 at max) fighting Fury & CE wich on there own had 25+ each and are good Guilds was abit tough, but some nice teawork with VG. Keep the fights comming

Most old Piken Guilds cared for the fights but those are sadly mostly gone now, left in the Wake is Guilds that care mostly for Points. Tho aNet cares only for the Guilds/Zergs who fight for Points not for those who still prefer good fights/GvG’s, the new WvW-Bloodlust buff is just Another proof of that…

We’re playing Risk but you want to play Monopoly on the board instead. It’s not surprising that Anet keep taking steps to force you to play the game ‘properly’.

I was in such a guild for quite a while but came to see how unhelpful, selfish and elitist it was to play like that.

Yea sry but I agree with absolutely nothing u say. First the game is about FUN (its a game) and playing for Points in a meaningless system is no fun at all. What is fun and challenging is to fight head on vs other Good Guilds that actually can hold there own without holding on to a 50-man Zerg.

25v25 between two equally strong Guilds is the best Entertainment there is in Gw2, nothing fighting for a win “this week” that no1 remembergs a week later. Nah fun is great,challenging fights. Wonder why the GvG between ScnD & VII a few weeks ago had more twitch Viewers then anything else in gw2 includeing Anet hyped sPvP (what a fail)

All new Guilds on Piken plays Prime-Time, see them there everyday.Saying they are off peak hours is just plain BS. But as some said know owns Piken, ques however are atm really bad again. Did we need more Prime-Time Guilds ? no not even the slightest

GoW really want to fight some french Guilds on equal numbers so really would love a GvG vs WaR and maybe BLAK (tho i Think u said u dont GvG) try it, nothing better in the game. Maybe LNM if u intrested, wednesday is best for us but could maybe do Thursday aswell.

I really enjoyed the Fights in Viz Borders tonights. Was some massive battles indeed.

Tnx to the Engi from Scnd for some really great Duels earlier today, enjoyed it alot. I was the Necro.

I wanna say tnx to both VII & ScnD for the GvG’s this week has bin a nice Learning experience from what Id say is Guilds in Top-3 in the World atm. Loosing hurts but I really like the fights, cheers.

Here’s what I’ve been using lately.

+10% from Lyssa with +40% from Rare Veggie Pizza + 50% from Master of Terror = +100% Fear duration, which is max. That’s a 2-second Fear for Spectral Wall and Reaper’s Mark, a 3-second Fear for sub-600 Doom, and a 4-second Fear for Reaper’s Protection.

As for rotation, the easy thing to do is to let your opponent CC you at point-blank range, then land Doom, drop a Spectral Wall behind them, and land Reaper’s Mark for a potential 9 seconds of Fear (more if you get them to cross Spectral Wall multiple times). If you can’t kill a player with 9-seconds of Terror ticking away at them, there is something seriously wrong.

This build is particularly hilarious to use against Basilisk Venom thieves. They’ll have their whole rotation planned out, but all you’ll take is the first hit before they take 4 seconds of Fear to the face. I find most of them who can stunbreak turn tail and run away after that in WvW. They don’t even try to attack me a second time.

Why dont u use the 20% from necromancer Runes instead of Lyssa ? The runes are cheaper, better and have longer Duration

By the number of posts its understandable why alot of Pikens Think this was the most boring matchup in recent memory. However reset isnt far away. Give me AG plz gods of Anet

OP maybe you should add the Word “PvE” somewhere in the title, cause even if they not needed as you say in Dungeons the sure kick kitten in all forms of PvP atm. So they are needed in “game”

I run exactly like the Necro u described basicly a 30-20-20-0-0 Build. Its Avery fast powerful Condi-Burst build. I hit you with Signet of Spite pop into DS hit you with Torment then Fear out of DS again Hit you with 2 and 3 on Staff then AoE Fear of staff.

Burn ticks for 800, Bleed for 140 (alot higher with torment) and Terror for 1300, u need to specc for Heal lears a Condition atleast.

its a very powerful Build

Some good fights tonight in AM Borders, we lost some ppl early due to that dam real Life, but wanna give a shout out to 2 really good Guilds and fun to fight CoiN and EXG.

On Abbadon server we really havent came across any Guilds that run on there own yet, still 2 more Days tho.

Fun fights all evening in Deso BL with VII, GoW is it? And many others. Satrted out with 4 of us sniping, slowly grew in numbers over time and always managed to find some pretty balanced matchups, till we stuck around to long and got chased by many many people xD

Also had alot of small scale stuff around Pikens Supply camps, and ruins. Will def be running smaller 10-15 man gangs more often, 20+ draws to much attention.

Fights for Bay were pretty good also good fun (no trolling ^^)

And who cares who has more when, go settle it in a gvg if you’re that concerned with who is better

Yea was fun evening, we had 17ppl then dropped to 10-12 in the end but was some good fights in there and a Piken Commander that bought his tag on ebay. Still GoW looking for GvG’s 15v15 maybe 20v20 (its vacation weeks so low pop.)

Also say that sofar we asked 4-5 of the Guilds on Desolation and Khodash and all rejections even you EoW so yea check with your GL.

3 new members in 2 Days, so Gonna say it works. We still need 3-5 more Exp.WvW Players tho, looking for ALL Classes but prefer Warriors and Mesmers atm.

A Condi Necro kills every Thief with absolutely np at all,.. Stelth dosent = imune to dmg u know.

Cant there ever be a normal Match-Up thread about good fights, Epic experiences aso. Every single week this kitten about Blob,Zerg,who’s biggest its beyond old and boring now.

Yes Piken is clearly less populated then JS & BB but who cares ? More for us to kill, wont ever be lack of enemies so stop complaining.

And this Blob, Zerg thing do Pikens really Think you not doing it ? Piken isnt what it once was and will most likely never be again. Guilds team-up and servers Zerg each other there is nothing to do about it, it wont stop so no Point in whining about it anymore. All servers in highers tiers have this and if u Think Piken dosent stop get your heads out of the sand, some Piken Guilds are so big now there a bloddy Zerg or the own so stop complaining abut other servers. Only GL can change that and lets face it, most wont as long as loot & kills keep comming.

From Piken since start, never left, and can honestly say Piken aint Piken any longer

In ST situation: Pwer=Condi but Condi > Wells

In WvW we however never have Necros runanything but Power/Well builds. Power build or re-specc. Conditions get cleansed to easily when we up vs so many Guardians + Warriors. And Soldier Runes aso… to much cleanse and to Little time for effect. Power wins there. Also with the DS boost our Power Necors LT for 6-8k x5 targets cant do that with Condi-Specc.
