Trail of Anguish is brilliant, SB on 20s cd(with trait ofc) that converts and burns have nothing bad to say about this skill. Sand Swell (Portal) just gives us so much more in an area we always bin lacking, saved me several times yesterday and also helped me kill several times .

Torch: didnt think I like it but traited right I the torment and burns u put out is great, skill#5 needs some tweaking tho.

Gnasty Breach is a better Plaguelands imho specially when u get the cd down to 60s

Scourge is not a support tho, its a Condi AoE Beast.

Fix Weakining Shroud with Scourge

I like the Scourge alot, didnt think so before hand but yea the dmg is really good

I cant get Weakening SHroud to trigger on any Shoud Skill, can u confirm if its bugged out ?

The switch from Power to Condi domination was in Aug 2014 so not 3,5y of Power domination. Condi has rained supreme longer then power now…

Looking at Scourge,Soulbeast,Renegade,Mirage I dont see that to end anytime soon.

If u run with no food at all as Condi Specc u still out dps a Power Specc that runs with Food, this goes for alot of classes. Should tell u a little something about the kittenty balance in this game

for me and many that relied on 7sec Speed of Shadows isnt a fkng buff

I stayed Spite-SR-Reaper today, didnt go Spectral mastery now either cause i use only SA. Dont use Staff so my 7sec Shroud Build got hurt but, still use that replacement trait and use the “new” VP trait.

Can I kill kitten ? yes
Do I still die to Thieves ? yes

yep how dissapointed I was by yesterdays patch I still cant wait for the 18th

The thing with Shroud tho it was our Invun, Aegis, Block & o-kitten button all rolled up into one cause we lack all those things plus we lack stealth,movement, disengage and any other factors to escape being Focused. And afte yesterday with VP-nerf that took alot of that away from us and Scourge dosent have it at all.

I really hope Scourge will work, and fighting without Shroud does sound intresting but atm without testing I feel we gonna lack that defence we get from Shroud and Barriers seems very un-reliable. Maybe we have better battleground control but I cant see us have any better diengage when focused then we have now… and that meens we still gonna be an easy target.

yea Iam holding off to see if we get any better or more suited new Gear Sets, Runes and Sigils but I see more potential in Condi Dps Scourge then in Support. Maybe some combination is the best but Iam very hesitent to run Shaman… we see.

Well watch a stream day before yesterday with a few well known PvP and they seemed to like Scourge and what it could bring. Iam not a PvP myself, more of WvW so I cant say. I know from 5y of playing Necromancer that when we get focused we have less tools then most to survive and that includes Shroud aswell.

So if Scourge are easily focused down, Id say what else is new

I dont play Raids but as WP said if Anet starts implementing mechanics around Barrier then it can have it place cause looking at all the Elite Spez Scourge is the only one with Barrier for allies, also he has the most potential Barrier output.

The Condition dps output of the Scourge is potentially even higher then Reaper specially with the incomming nerf to"Deadly Chill". Alot of ppl consider it to be an support spec, I however see it as the future Condi Elite for Necromancer even with some old Terrormancer in it & I believe it has borderline OP Condi dps output.

as regard to FitG I almost certain it will proc on Maniffest Sand Shade, and I think it will be 3x 3sec Stability for when u place the Shades or 1x of 9sec Stability if you use the GM-Trait that grants you one big Sand Shade. Ofc this is speculation but this is what I think.

Warrior has always binAnet’s fav, why should that not continue ?

when u mentioned Transfusion I just wondered for myslef how that Trait works with Shades ? Will it work properly and how if so ?

Notice that list only has 3 Utility skills? All Elite Specs (save Revenant’s) have 4.

There is 4 Utility Skills in the Pic + Elite:

You have at bottom the Heal+Shadow Figure thing then at the left u have the 2 Hands in the air looking skills and the 2 last Serpent + Elite.

Really want to see a tooltip for the Serpent Skill tho.

We also may get Sigil barriers tho so have to see on them

Barrier has to be 5k+ for me to even consider it, but i doubt its that high cause our heal Skill is only 4,5k

The lack of Finishers and Fields in the Scourge is my biggest concern atm.

It has proberly bin mentioned but I see alot of concerns and negativity about Scourge so just gonna say it: If ppl say we loose out on the Stability we got on Reaper those ppl need to sit down and REALLY read the tooltips on “Feed from Corruption” cause most classes except ours have Stability and a fair amount of it, and Scourge has more Boonstrip/Convert then Iv seen anywhere else.

The duration on the Boons the Scourge gets from this GM is no laughing matter either, and notice the 2 Stacks of Stab for 6sec when u remove or corrupt that from an Enemy.

This GM is really really strong specially when u see what Scourge can do.

there is alot of ppl talking about what we loose compared to what we have but I still want to see that 4th and last utility Skill that no streamer managed to capture. Not saying it will give all we hoped for but can atleast be something viable

Here, go frame by frame. Clearly teleporting behind the mob to the second Shade location. Can’t say if it’s the new utility or not, since I don’t recognize animations yet.

Well if thats the case, if u have 3 Shades up wich one do u port to ? thats where it dosent make sense to me.

bin part of this Forum for 5y and I can tell u there has never bin such a thing as a happy necromancer

11-13th August is just PvE the Demo Instance that we can play thro, 18-20th is when we can try the Elite Spez

Iam not so sure we will loose alot of defence with barriers from shroud. Also I like to point out that on the Necro forums today there is alot of talk about the barrier mechanic and our loss of shroud and our defence, but dont forget there is a ton of dps displayed in both the tooltips and the traits.

Also I want to add that the barrier mechanic (un tested ofc) is intresting to me due to the fact that now for the first time we can use our F-skills and our utility skills without going in-n-out of shroud.

And yea maybe u right its not gonna be vaible for PvP, we have to wait and see. On the other hand I see Thieves saying same thing about Deadeye not gonna replace the movement and decap-role of the Daredevil so we not the only class with those issues.

I for one cant wait for the 18th to test Barrier mechanic and traits, hopefully we will see the revamped other traitlines then aswell.

Yea will be intresting to see what Gear sets, Runes,Sigils we will get in PoF and if some will be more suited for the new Elite Spez. We know there will be new cause he showed us one new set.

Also there could be new tailored to the new Elite Spez like we got with Runes of the Reaper aso…

Well I guess we see exactly waht we can come up with for Builds aso on the 18th, I dont think Scourge is a bad Elite tho, also intresting to seeing the changes to Reaper,Spite aso that WP mentioned

It has Portal and 6s Swiftness on nr#7 so Id say it has more Mobility then before, the lack of Stability is a concern tho. Also we get basicly cripple on all skills and Slow on Elite add the Swiftness to that and Mobility is even greater.

Wasnt there a big barrier on our New heal skill aswell ? think I saw a 4k+ Heal and a 4k+ barrier

The new thing about unlocking these Elite Specs was shown/hinted by WP in post stream tho, there was an Mirage NPC that teached us about Mirage lore – hence we get Lore about the New Elite Spez. Makes it abit more flushed out I guess and I assume this is also linked with unlocking them.

Well for ALL those who asked for using utiity skills in Shroud, now we get the reversed, the F1 (shroud skills) out of shroud… kinda like the new look, dont know how fast and easy it is to apply/setup those barriers.

Tbh as a Necro main and mostly a WvW player the fact Epidemic didnt get nerfed says alot to me, have Anet just given up on the game-mode ?

The buffs to Power Reaper is fine but I give them all back for a faster AA on the GS, but yea thats just my view. Nice tweaks and buffs to that weapon however and Ferocity on Onslaught is intresting, we see if it can compete with Blighters Boon tho.
