I never run in Zergs cause it bores me & you wont gain any skill by doing so, I run with my Guild 6 Days a week 15-25ppl. Iam full Zerker with the exception of 3 Ascended pcs that are T,P,Crit dmg.

I run 30-0-10-0-30 with GM ofc (without that in WvW is being without armor)

The key is positioning !! cant stress that enough, gear is secondary. But yea you are squishy in form of Toughness Id say around 1300. HP is up tho tnx to the 2500hp from Fortitude.

Dont be afraid to Zerk-up

Ypu going PVT Gear so Iam guessing a Power Necro of some sort yet you go 30åts into Curses, to me it dosent make sense. But as others said above Runes reflect what you want to Build. In my Power Builds I tend to go Pack just for Power+Precision boost.

If u want a Tank build I go for Earth, Melandru is not needed if u run with zerg to many Guardians & Warrior cleanse anyway.

Was a great Evening yesterday hopefully equally great today in Piken BL, also tnx to ECL for GvG. I love this matchup comming after last week, atleast this week we cant complain about lack of enemies.

Iam on Fissure of Woe, was in the Borders with my Guild m8 when we got chased by a Vabbi Zerg.. must have bin 6-7 players atleast

Iam running Power Speccs in WvW (much more efficent in 20v20) but ofc Iv tried CondiSpeccs and 30-30-10, My question for OP and all those whiners out there is: Is it just the new Burn that makeing you pee your pants now or is it because there is simply more Necros out there ?

We had the Terror option for a kitten long time so the 1200-1500 Fear Tick cant be the reason you Calling us OP nor the 3sec Fear. It cant be Spectral Wall cause you all know we wont flip your kittening Stability with Corrupt Boon anymore. So the numbers still the same. So a 700-800/s Burn Tick is what got you all so kittening scared then ?

Why dont you grow a pair, I can say that I didnt whine like this when a 15k Backstab + 8k Heartseeker killed me instantly.

ps: and to the ones saying the Spectral Wall is AoE & we run into it multiple times, Id say seriously if you do maybe re Think if PvP is for you.

Some post -patch Necro Zerker WvW fun, Solo, Small Group & abit Raid. Just wanted to show some numbers we can smack out with CtD+ AT + popping into DS with that plus 100% Crit Chance & 110% Crit Dmg

Nice I prefer the 30-0-10-0-30 to take that Axe dmg Increase into DS with me for harder Life Blasts and now with 100% Crit its insanely fun.

Look its simple: 1st time you run into the wall you take dmg, you didnt see it and what not. If you run into that same wall again why do you complain ? Its just the game telling you that you arent specially skilled. If you cant avoid or have the patience to wait those few seconds it up then its just sad, but instead you come here and complain.

ps: bet OP is a mesmer

I would say for pure Power Build CtD is the choice, specially with Axe training & you also take that buff with you in DS. For Condi ofc Dhuumfire, hybrid I say in wich way your build is leaning…

Great fights all evening in Khodash Borders the fights vs VotF is really nice and sry if it got crowded sometimes butwe try to stay on our own. Tho you didnt have to engage right after we wiped PSY, let us Catch our breath

Iam running 30-0-10-0-30 atm picking up Greater Marks ofc for my WvW/PvP Power Build. Getting both Axe Training + Close to Death in Spite gives alot of dmg.

In Soulreaping I take 15% Faster Recharge + 30% faster DS + new 50% Crit Chance (DP)

Well I love Necro always have but if u dont wanna “stab” someone I guess stick with Staff + Scepter/ ?? as Weapons to match your version of a “real caster” class.

Other suggestion is go Staff Ele or Mesmer to fit the description aswell, in the Mesmer you even have a better class tho imho no class is as fun as Necro.

Anet has been the most vocal about Necros for this upcoming patch with buffs (who knows, there could even be more buffs that they haven’t mentioned yet!) with access to burning, Torment, DS #5… and you still find something to complain about. So quick to complain about things that aren’t even out yet.

You are in the Necro forum m8, “if you dont complain you aint a Necro” our motto after 10months.

And I just said giving Torment to Thieves is broken, I like it for us. Iam still hopefull for 25th, specially with DS and Trait Revamps.

I have np with Mesmers getting Torment tbh (Specially after Confussion Nerf) but Thieves.. wtf Seriously ? A class so burst/melee heavy gets a Condition that hurts ppl trying to get away or catch up with thief. This is on paper plain wrong, Il wait 5days and see but sounds broken now.

All other things looks & Sounds promising but ofc have to wait and see what all these changes to Traits will be about. The DS do more dmg up close most likely be one.

Yea have my doubts aswell, but still look forward to: Healing in DS, The new revamp + New ability in DS and DS doing more dmg the closer you are to enemy. Last Class-Balance patch they buffed Ranger & look how fierce the BeastMaster is now so high hopes for Necro buff as promised.

The Class-Balance patch is comming in the end of June as said. This is just a patch for The Dragon Bash Event. Not sure about the date but think it was 26th of june.

Cleric Geared Bunker/Well/Heal Ncro is the way to kill any Mesmers not with pure Power or Pure Condi. believe. 0-0-25-30-15 Build.

I tend to get 2,2k around that from Frost Burn (Hydromancy Sigil) in my Power Build, my Power then being around 2500. Highest Iv seen I got was 2,7k

The Geomancy I belive is viable only in a Condition Build.

Well that explains the high numbers we see. +90% crit dmg is really a lot for wvw.

no Not really, only 5% Comes from Soul Reaping… and another 10% Comes from Food. Getting 90% Crit Dmg in WvW is kinda easy you cant get it in sPvP tho with any similar build.

My Crit Chance is 53% in the Screens and current Build with Food and Accuracy Sigil on Staff + MH Dagger. Crit Dmg is around 90%. Iam as said running 30-25-10-0-5

I have Full Zerker Armor + Ruby Orbs Except Helmet (TVP) then Cava Back Piece, 1 Ruby Accesory. 2 Ascended with Toughness + Power +Crit Dmg (Toughness Main Stat) and 1 Red Ring of Death.

This Build or Specc is risky ofc but its not full Zerker and give me decent Toughness and is not a problem in WvW, you cant copy this build to sPvP you dont even get close Iam afraid. Anyway I prefer WvW and yea I run with 10-20 ohters in a Guild but sometimes much lower numbers or Solo. Its a build that keeps you on your toes.

Might Stacks I had was 3, enemy had no Vuner. and yes my bas HP is unchanged, a good Necro supported by good Melee dont need to add any Vitality. I have 25 stacks of Bloodlust at the time giving me around 2600 Power

I run 30-25-10-0-5 Power Build

Our Guild was yesterday on your BL with 15 – 20 against one BLOB of GH GOW and a random zerg i only say ruins so don´t cry all the time you blob as well. ( i know its was only per accident that you met there ^^ )

so let us come to the cheat thing i personlay think that most of this posts are because the most of those people havent enough experience what you can do with a good placed ac.

LoL GoW ran 8players yesterday, not once did we fill 2fg but u call that Blob then u gonna be suprised when we hit you with 20+ Tonight, plz DTK come to BLUE Bl again tonight, you were so yummy. I dont mind this RS zerging, its for a week and I like the loot. Feels like the entire RS Server is specced Zerkers, iam loveing it.

yes I looked at the Duration applied, we talking seconds. But its fine I can get 80-80% Duration on Chill wich enough anyway nwo. Really fun Considering Iam running 9 Chills.

Yes I tested that both in PvP and on MoBs

as the Title stated Iam haveing Issues finding Runes to work to Increase my Chill Duration and Iam wondering if any1 else have seen same. Iv seen Chill-Builds here before but Iv tested in both sPvP and WvW and they jsut dont add to Duration.

Here is some wich dosent add:

Rune of grenth
Rune of Ice
Rune of Svanir
Chilling Duration Sigil
Rune of Elementalist

These do work/add to duration(mainly cause they add Con.Duration & not Chill specific)

Rune of Lyssa adds 10%
Food Rare Pizza & Kale add 40%
30pts into Spite gives 30%

added total of 80% Chill Duration tested together & seperate those all work.

so as far as I can see Svanir,Ice,Grenth,Sigil dosent work and are Totally pointless ingame atm, fix Anet or remove tbh.

I just gonna ask: if you are comming back after a “8-month break” in a game thats bin out for 9 months, is class-choice really your issue since you basicly jumped ship on launch ?

Never see DsD team up with any other Guild, they roam alone from waht we in GoW have seen. They are Specced tough as Nails tho and fun to fight.

as he says its based on Minions Dmg and only 2 Minions do decent dmg when “alive” Flesh Golem & Flesh Wurm and the HP Siphon from Wells are to poor.

Then they are NOT speccing Glass-Cannon. I run Berserker except for 3 Ascended wich is Toughn,Power,Crit-Dmg. I average 5k+ Putrid Mark and often higher.

yes I agree if u want to roam Solo DONT play a Necro, even with Spectral Walk,Locust Signet & Flesh Wurm your movement is limited compared to most other classes. Necro i still an excellent 1v1 class imo played Correctly but keep in mind if the 4-5 guys come, there is nowhere to run.

Also dont understand this 35k+ HB chat.. Necro isnt a burst Class. Most ppl who do any kind of decent PvP/WvW knows this. On my Necro i rarely to never die to a Warrior and when it happens its to a defensive/Stun-Hammer Warrior. Warriors despite that burst is considered the weakest 1v1-class in game atm (look at sPvP)

as Iv said Before play Necroas its should a great DD Class with massive AoE(more then any other). It excells in WvW as a Power/Well Necro. For 1v1 look more into Spectral Attunements & Deathshroud

Depends were you are looking tbh.

Elementalist is with Staff the best Supprt Class in the game, in WvW most guild wont leave spawn without 3-5 Eles. They have Combo fields both for Might Stacking & Healing that are far superior to other classes and they should be used as Support first, dmg second.

Mesmer are utility Class with what we can agree are some unique (so far) utilitys like Portals aso. They got nerfed bad in dmg tho with Confusion cut in half. And are now only the 3rd best in DD (not talking burst) talking AoE quantity & quality here.

Necros is and should be played as a pure DD-class. the sooner ppl realize that the better. Yes it has ways with “Chilling Darkness” to keep up a almost constant Chill pressure on the enemy but its real Power is the AoE, and mainly it dmg. Still NOT talking just burst but total dmg. I run when equiped with staff 9/10 AoE skills and with AA as a skill that penetrates so say what other class can do the same ?

Start playing as it should, Spwecially in WvW. Its should be played with Wells and with Power. I have over 2700 Power and I wreck havoc among most encounters in WvW and when guild needs it 3-4 Necros in Plague Form with Chilling Darkness blinds + freezes an entire zerg. I have Putrid Mark constant for over 7k, yes 7k+.

But if ppl wanna try to play it for whakittens not then ppl are still gonna complain about it being weak. Ask most playes what CC they find worst ? I bet Freeze comes right up there (2 things for 1). If u enjoy WvW Necros are truly a class for you.
