Assassin Signet down to 15%

in Thief

Posted by: Ravnodaus.5130

Ravnodaus.5130

Do you not lose the power for assassins signet on use? And as 90 power is roughly a 10% damage increase, you only gain 5% damage on activation? Or do you keep the power until the activation has been used (all 5 strikes).

90 power is 10% increase from base damage. The damage from the signet is 15% to totaled damage.

Basically, they get added into the damage calculation in very different ways. Anything that give a % damage increase will be strictly better than something that would give the equivalent % increase through added power stat.

Example
Attack X does 10 damage at base power 916.
We have 1832 power. Therefor our attack X will do 20 damage. Let’s say we also have +50% crit damage. So it crits for 40 damage.

We equip the signet, and now have 1922 power, and our attack will do 21 damage.
It crits for 42 damage, that is a 5% increase.

So, we activate the signet, losing the 90 power, but gaining a +15% modifier.
Attack X does 23 damage, or 46 damage on a crit.

The difference between the two is not 5%. The higher your power is, the more a static % increase matters. The lower your power, the less so. This is because the % increase multiplies off of the power factored number, which in essence increases the relative value of power.

Why i'm switching from p/d to s/p

Nova, that is excessive. The condition duration cap is +100%. In wvw/pve there is no reasonable cause to gear/trait over 60%, as you can gain an easy +40% from food buff.

3Aff/3Krait still adds 30%, if you go 30 trait deep that’s your 60%. Or you could go 20 deep and pick up a sigil of agony, or only 10 deep and double agony. How ever you get there doesn’t really matter too much. But overkill is just going to be lost stats you would otherwise have.

Let's speculate on the changes

in Ranger

Posted by: Ravnodaus.5130

Ravnodaus.5130

Hmm, I think they are going to some very important, much needed improvements for the class. Based on prior direction in the class, I estimate the following changes will be made.

Spirit changes. Due to an animation glitch, that triggers after spirits go into and then out of stealth and look solid instead of like spirits, spirits will now follow you, they will just do so much slower than they used to. They will tell us it is only 7% slower, but it’ll actually be 20% slower.

Due to an error with arrows being effected by obstructed all the time, they will fix this problem… by ensuring that all ranger weapons are randomly and arbitrarily obstructed. Equal opportunity obstruction, ranged or melee both.

Due to sword skill rooting the wielder, and this being an annoying, uncontrolled weapon to fight with, they will make all ranger skills self root. Then we will just have to get used to it. Besides, it has been determined that attacking while moving is done too much already and isn’t fun. And this way it lets your slow spirits have a chance to catch up to you.

The issue with pets not attacking on the move. That is easily addressed with a quick bug fix. It was never intentional that pets could move at all in the first place. They are supposed to be completely stationary, like a cool pet looking trap.

We can fix the problem with shortbow working with quickness. We just reduce the non-quickness speed of the bow by adding another 200 ms, and leave the current quickness speed remain the same. That way the shortbow will properly benefit by quickness again and have its speed doubled by the buff.

Warhorn skill #5 has had its cd increased to 1 minute, and the length of its duration reduced to 5 seconds.

And one last quality of life change. There is a strong trend that many rangers are over using traps. This is effecting entirely too many rangers. Traps have been removed.

I use p/d and have an alright time against mesmers. I think that is because I have a start/stop/start play style with my build. So I’m going in and out of stealth frequently, giving me plenty of time to let confusion drop off, and giving mesmsers fewer opportunities to get all their little buddies out without a target to attack.

If they have solid condition removal, it just makes for a longer fight, but eventually I wear them down.

Acrobatics "Expitious Dodger", (5 point trait.)

Vigor is available already. Even 100% uptime vigor. Vigor is greater than swiftness. The trait is fine. Swiftness is greater than SoS. If you have this trait and SoS, maybe consider dropping SoS? That would mean your minor 5 point trait is giving you a free’d up skill slot. That sounds very potent imo, why are we complaining about a useful trait?

Centaur runes + SoM traited is ridiculous already for swiftness though. You can aoe perma swiftness. It’s nice if you roam with a small group. Any of the -on-heal traits/effects are crazy good if you take SoM. Especially if you have other stealth sources.

Why i'm switching from p/d to s/p

in Thief

Posted by: Ravnodaus.5130

Ravnodaus.5130

That is the spec I roll in wvw, and I don’t get rolled by warriors, guardians or mesmers. 80, exotics, whatever.

One of the keys you are probably missing to deal decent bleed damage is likely condition duration. For some reason, people can tend to disregard this stat. Your base bleeds with p/d are only 4 seconds long, that isn’t very long at all. So you’re going to want to add more! Every +25% you add is going to give each of your shots another tick of bleed… increasing your total bleed damage by the same increment essentially.

Yes, condition removal can reduce the benefit, but if you ignore this stat completely you may as well not be using conditions after all.

Now, that of course isn’t everything. How you play the character is going to have a direct effect on the outcome of the fight. I find this build personally gives me enough control over the outcome that I have little trouble fighting anyone, even fighting multiple opponents.

Something changed with either Revealed or Vital Shot

I can confirm, I used to C&D, sneak attack, auto fire x2, C&D repeat infinity. I did this all the way leveling up from like 40 or 50, and primarily play p/d now at 80. It is a rhythm that is second nature to me by this point, so I noticed it immediately after logging in after the Halloween patch.

To practice to new pacing, and get the old one out of my system, I went into wvwvw… followed an enemy zerg to a supply camp. Then proceeded to chain C&D forever and jump went from target to target for about 15-20 minutes… preventing them from capping it.

They eventually caught me, which is surprisingly easy to do if you stop and think about it. But I did get the new timing down to a t.

pets r not broken.

there s “just” one problem: if u want your pet to hit stuff in melee-range, then u have to take “agility training” in skirmishing line. since it only needs 10 points there, it is no big deal; on the other hand it is a must for most builds.

That doesn’t make them attack faster…so if the target is mobile the attacks still miss. It lets them miss more often though, so…you know, there’s that.

Assassin Signet down to 15%

Ravnodaus.5130

A spec which teleports to you from 900 away, stealths itself then kills you in less than 2 seconds is just not good game design whether there are counters or not.

So by your logic, even with ways to counter it, it’s still bad? Right. You see, now, because the DPS is more spread across the combo, you have a bigger window to retaliate. As soon as you get hit, you have every opportunity to hit any AoE, CC or bunker skills you have. A glass cannon backstab Thief will be instantly destroyed by any CC. Learn your class. This is coming from a Thief that specs in survivability and snaring. If I can beat a glass cannon Thief without stealth and with my pitiful HP, you can too.

Please, please don’t start fooling yourself by telling me how about those 1500 nukers… You have a kittening Sidestep skill in your phony backstab build for kitten sake.

D/D has no evade skills apart from Death Blossom, which wastes your initiative in seconds. Critical Strikes and Deadly Arts have no dodge enhancements. The only tree with dodging benefit is Acrobatics, a vitality tree with no relation to a backstab build. Your only hope is to run backwards and spam Disabling Shot with a Shortbow, and that will get you nowhere because you do pathetic damage and just make yourself an eyesore of a target.

What the kitten are you talking about?

Sidestep as in utility skill, it doesn’t take a genius to know that Sidestep is a must. Seriously do you even play this game?

Do you?? There is no such skill. Roflmao. Say good-bye to any form of credibility you might have had, bud. Really… if you want to offer advice, or even worse talk trash… please for the love of all that is good… fact check yourself first, k?

On topic; There wasn’t a nerf, anyone who thinks so is just being ridiculous. The initial burst is down on one very specific build, which is made up for + extra with another second… two tops. And it is a buff for many other specs who can now utilize the skill to far greater effect.

You should see how other classes get handled if you want to whine about this change, lol. Ranger just had their top direct damage build nerfed by about 20% to fix a freaking animation glitch no ones even seen. The difference between how that change, and this change were handled are night and day.

Innocuous irrelevant graphic fix: Ranger do 20% less damage.
Re balance to fix imba spec: Thief does 1% more damage.

You will find no sympathy. Embrace the change, because it is a very good one, well thought out, and brilliantly implemented.

Crit Damage and Stat Inefficiency

Welcome to exactly 2 months ago.

I’m kidding. Mostly. Having it repeated for the many who don’t know this is always a good thing.

The only real thing I wanted to clarify from your post is the following;

Weapons. 1 hand and 2 hand weapons have different stats. 2 handers only get 9% vs a pair of 1 handers with 10%.

For a full list of gear, in order of best berseker to worst berserker piece;

5:1 Jewel
7:1 Gem
12:1 Glove/Boot/Shoulders
12.8:1 Amulet/Onehand weapons
13.3:1 Accessories(earring)
14.2:1 Twohand weapons
14.4:1 Chest
16:1 Pants/Helm/Ring

The stat difference isn’t exactly minor either. If done optimally vs done poorly, you can net yourself the equivalent of roughly +100 stats. (I guess you can call that minor, I don’t though)

I’ve used Pain Inverter on my condition thief build before. It is very potent, that is sure. 3 stack of confusion is 1k damage per skill/attack they make. And the retaliation just exaggerates the effect. It really does what it says it does, it inverts the pain. (added perk, it doesn’t break stealth, because it doesn’t do any direct damage)

But for it to work well, you need to be in melee range, and your target doesn’t remove it, and your target attacks fast.

On the upside though, it is only a 30 second cd, so can be used fairly regularly.

F2P game yall are talking about. This game is free to play.

Free….

If there is something in the game that you want, but are unwilling to pay the price for(even if the price varies via rng), then too bad for you. Complaining about it is rather silly.

I want a mansion for the price of a 2 bedroom home! I want to buy a winning lotto ticket, having a “chance” to win just isn’t working for me! I want a free yacht!! Bleh.

Having these items be harder to get increases their desirability. It means if you are fortunate or determined enough, you get to have something in the game that is unique and special.

God forbid we have some people have anything not everyone has though, right? Yall want Anet to just cough up everything with no effort so we all have the exact same crap? >.< That sounds dreadful. And Anets business model would collapse, and then the game would suffer from that too.

Tldr; Get over it. Try harder if it matters enough to you. If it doesn’t matter enough to you, then that is the problem, you don’t care enough to bother doing whatever it takes.

Poolman,

The sigil of corruption/bloodlust etc are very nice in sPvP actually.

You might not think 10 in a stat is much, but it stacks to 25( so +250 stat). That is +25% of your example, not 1%. And in sPvP you get 5 stacks per kill. So it adds up pretty kitten quick.

Also, Calypso, traps do a ton of damage if you have condition damage gear.

Pro Tip - Sigil of Strength - Getting a lil more for your money

in Ranger

Posted by: Ravnodaus.5130

Ravnodaus.5130

Try this out in sPvP before deciding you like it! It isn’t an especially cheap sigil, and the best stat gear takes a good investment of time/energy to acquire in pve. This works best with Rabid gear, and trap spec.

Equip yourself with Axe or Sword and Warhorn, sigil em up however you like. Use a Shortbow or Longbow with a Sigil of Strength.

This works great with traps/conditions. So right after/as they are being triggered, activate #4 on the horn and immediately swap to the bow with sigil of strength. This gives you 16x chance to proc the sigil. Even though the attack came from the horn, it attacks repeatedly over time, and the mechanics don’t care what sigil is on the weapon, it cares what sigil is currently equipped. Then you have either the shortbow’s Crossfire spam to keep more rolling in or the longbow’s Rapid Fire for another 10x chance to proc the sigil. You can find yourself sitting on a 25 stack with ease. (That is +875 condition damage)

The reason this is so great, being that might boosts condition damage, even after it has been applied. So it can turn your normal trap conditions into a real nightmarish burst of condition doom. If you apply burning, for example, and afterwards gain might, the burning you applied earlier does increased damage.

I know some people wont find this post helpful, but I wanted to shed a little light on the mechanics of procs, might, and how it effects conditions for the rest of the class.

Condition Gear (w3)

in Thief

Posted by: Ravnodaus.5130

Ravnodaus.5130

What is maximum that we can hit with condition? I use full exotic set from dungeons at the moment, 4 pieces of Nightmare (toughness, precision, condition) and 1 Arah (condition, power, vitality), and one CoF (condition, power, vitality).

I think I should have more condition than this right now…

Health: 19 226
Condition damage: 1344
Power: 1530
Critical chance : 14%
Crit damage: 0
Toughnes: 1040 (Armor 2104)

Should i go more power? Or can I get more condition? Change Superior rune of the necromancer (vitality , condition) for power and condition? What sigils to use for best condition dps? I don’t want precision since it doesn’t really help with condition – dual dagger death blossom.

Precision works rather well with condition damage, actually. There is a Sigil that applies a bleed 60% chance on a critical. And in the Crit strikes trait line, 20% chance on crit to regen initiative…that works especially well for a DB build if you have good crit, because the more you crit the more initiative you regen, and because DB is a three hit aoe, the more you’re aoeing the more it hits, the more it crits, the more you regen….the more you DB.

Aside from that though… Agony is a good sigil, it adds +10% bleed duration. The best is probably Corruption, that one gets up to +250 condition damage.

Condition Gear (w3)

Condition duration is capped at +100%. I’ve done testing on this one personally.

I use a P/D build primarily and went with full carrion everything, 3 aff/krait. Sig of corruption/agony. Have none in the +% duration traits, which puts me at 40% duration, but in non sPvP play, you get to use consumables, and I pop Pizzas all day long like a college kid. The lvl 80 pizza adds 40% duration, giving me a +80% total ^.^

One of my goals is to build a rabid stats array set, and use the sig of earth for faster bleed application… but rampager gives up too much condition damage imo. Rabid though, has high cond allocation, and toughness/precision too. Very good for a crit/condition synergy build.

Base bleed damage is 42.5 per second at level 80. And every 20 condition damage increases that by 1.

At base I’m around 1450, plus pizza, tuning crystal and sigil. Puts me at approx 1850-1900. I’m seeing bleeds that do about 135+ per second.

Yeah, I’m certain that at the very least 2 weeks ago it was healing my jungle stalker for the 1-1.5k range. I’ve used it to have my cat strait up tank vet/champ mobs in the past. The healing on it was very game changing… you don’t just mistake that.

Maybe it wasn’t working right then and for whatever reason was healing too much? Possible… But there is a difference. I just tried out a number of different pets, with/without compassion training and couldn’t get it to heal more than 350.

It does seem to be based directly on how much damage the attack does, though. The harder your pet crits, the more it is healed. But I cannot fathom how my pet could have been doing 3-5 times more damage a couple weeks ago and I didn’t notice. The only thing that’s different is the heal.

Are rangers in really as bad of shape as they're being made out to be?

in Ranger

Posted by: Ravnodaus.5130

Ravnodaus.5130

They’re not behind the other classes. I’ve got 18k health, about 3k armor, and a 50% critical chance. Buffed, in combat, that crit chance goes up to 70%. I’ve got 5-15 stacks of might, fury, swiftness, and stability for whole fights. I’ve got the ability to keep an enemy stunned for 9 seconds, and 8 seconds of quickness. If an enemy can break stuns, I’ve got five more stuns to use. I’ve got the longest range of any class. I’ve got an evade on every third auto-attack, and protection through almost all melee fights. I’ve got the ability to snare, bleed, and burn an entire point.

One on one, I can handle anyone, it just isn’t possible for anyone to fight against all those stuns. Two on one, I can hold my own pretty well, and win against randoms always. Three or more on me, and I can distract them long enough that my party can do plenty of work while I keep enemies busy.

So maybe you’re just not used to the class, or just need something that suits your playstyle better.

I win just about every 1v1 I encounter, I am not trying to brag/boast, but it is true. The issue I have with Ranger, is that I do it so much easier on every other class I play.

You need to separate yourself, and your level of skill, from the discussion. An amazing player can make a crappy class do ok. But they can do so much more with one that works well.

You really cannot deny that a good portion of the Ranger’s functionality isn’t working well, that it is cumbersome and clunky at best. Arrows missing because my target isn’t standing motionless? Hrm. Pets missing because my target isn’t standing motionless? Pets/spirits getting roflstomped by just being near combat… hrm.

From whence, I might ask, too… does your stability come from? Because that is another major source of contention, as many of our stability options aren’t working right/are buggy. As is the quickness and shortbow… not working right.

Have you seen what happens when someone is quickly strafing left/right/left? Arrows miss. I know this rather well, because not only does it happen to me sometimes when I fight someone good, but I do it all the time on all my other characters too. And it shuts a rangers “ranged” offense down completely, and then you can /lol at them.

As far as stats go, the ones you listed aren’t impressive for any reason. That’s like saying, “OMG guys, I equipped a rabid amulet, rangers are fine, lul”. No one cares you have stats… we all have stats…

And speaking of breaking stuns, how well do you do that one?

The highest my thief has got it was in the 650, 000 range when I tried out backstab build around level 50…. wonder what it’ll do when he gets 80 in full exotic gear, oh dear.

I was feeling nostalgic for my Ranger, haven’t really been playing it since 10/7… Anyway, I logged in, respec’d to a full on BM pet build for the giggles…and….Carnivorous Appetite is only healing my pet for 300.

When? When, why? Who… ugh. This used to heal in the 1 to 1.5k range in the not so distant past. I don’t remember seeing any notes for this at all!

Anyone have details? Know something I’m missing?

actually 30 power is about 1% damage increase, not sure how you calculated that 9 power = 1% damage but you’re way off (and i know my calc isn’t perfect either)

He’s right. At lvl 80, base power is 916. This means that if you add 165 to 916, you’ll increment power by 165/916 = 18.013%, or about 18%, and this increment is reflected directy in the damage increment (since the dmg formula is power*wpn dmg*skill coeff/armor).

With a +30 to power, you increment damage by 30/916=0.03275, or +3.275%, not 1%.

Oh, Galandil, you always have reliable maths. You even take the time to fully explain it to the people who don’t understand it. I wish I had that patience more often instead of coming off as a bit of a jerk when I say stuff.

But yes, in case anyone is curious, that is exactly how I got the 18% figure from 165 power. I always refer to base damage % increase with 916 as the reference, as it is the only constant involved in that scenario, at 80. We could reference some other arbitrary number, but I don’t see why that would be very meaningful or consistent, nor promote consensus in terms and equations used.

But yes, 9.16 power exactly equals 1% base damage increased. So to elaborate further on the whole crit vs power, and which is better for dps topic…

At base, we have 916 power, 916 precision, and a crit multiplier of 1.5.

To get to +50 % base damage, we would need only +458 power. In purely dps terms, this is roughly equivalent to having 100% crit rate. But if we wanted to instead go the precision route to get the same damage increase, we would have to have +2016 precision to crit 100%. Clearly, starting from base numbers, when considering relative desirability, power wins out handily.

Let show another comparison, this time we also have +50% crit damage. So we have 916 power/precision, and a crit multiplier of x2.

For increasing power to be equivalent to 100% crit rate, we would need +916 power to double the base damage. And would still need that +2016 precision to do the same.

Again, say we have a whappin +100% crit damage, then we would need 1374 extra power to be equivalent to 2016 precision. Still, power is proving more powerful.

Now, this attribute comparison gets skewed once we begin to factor in other variables. Any other sources of crit rate you have (traits, sigil, boons) increases the relative value of Power even further. The flip side being, anything you have that depends on a crit to activate skews the relative value of precision higher (though these are often not calculable, and are simply functional effects). Additionally, each of these attributes increases the relative value of the other attribute.

But because of the drastic weight difference of value, not accounting for crit proc effects, any choice between equivalent amounts of power vs precision will nearly always be better to choose the power option.

Just my 2 c.

(Yes, I ignored accounting for the extra crit damage when showing power value, 4% critrate was insignificant enough to ignore for sake of clarity and to be easier to follow, imo)

Aren’t rangers the best snipers in WvW?

1500 range, full glass cannon builds picking off enemy team’s squishies from safe distance?

I want a ranged DPS class and can’t figure one in this game, my elementalist performs way better with dagger/dagger tanky/dot build than with staff. Engineer plays best on mid range, riffle warrior could do it I guess, just… kinda bleh? I mean, I play a warrior to mellee people and crit for 10k with a hundred blades :P

You can crit for a lot more than 10k with 100 blades!

Also, in 4 hits (does really poison application counts here?),if im unlucky and only get the proc on last hit (backstab),and if the chain does, for example, 5k dmg for CnD and steal, then 100 for poison and 10k for backstab, ull still get almost full burst, 10100+6666, total 16766, ure almost dead anyway…

You’re quite right, protection doesn’t stop the backstab opener from being lethal, on its own. It just cushions the blow.

Even if the combo were to be a total 20k like you suggest, and you proc the protection on the 1st hit, you’re still going to take 13.3k, and followed by a few heartseekers, or even another backstab… going to end bad.

What exactly is the formula to calculate the chance of the proc occurs on the 2nd hit, and then the 3rd hit? for the first hit, its logical to assume that is 25%, but what after that? in a worst case scenario (also know as bad luck), i get 0/0/0/1, the 0/0/1, then 0/1 and finally 1,wich gives me 25/33/50/100, but how do i calculate this exactly? help!!!

Hrm…

25% chance to proc per hit. Has internal CD, after it procs, will not proc again right away.

First hit
25% proc
75% no proc

If it procs, it isn’t proccing again soon. So if you want to know the % of time it procs on the second hit (And not either 1st or second) then…

75% it didn’t proc on hit 1, 25% chance to proc on hit 2. That’s an 18.75% chance to proc on the 2nd hit.

Is this what you’re asking? O_o

If so, 75% x 75% x 25% is the chance it procs on the 3rd hit (and not 1st or 2nd). Which is 14%.

But I do see why anyone would care on which hit it procs, or the chance to proc on a specific hit, all that much. The chance to proc by hit 4 (not on hit 4) was being discussed as it showed relevance.

Just depends on the timing. If you can score a kill, do it..obviously. But if a kill isn’t coming any time soon, and an ally is down, best to rally them manually imo.

Selfish builds are perfectly fine. If everyone were support things would be safer, but really slow. A variety is often the best solution.

Superior rune of Eagle = big mistake

Hey, thought I should enter this here, be warned… there’s simple maths.

If you do 1000 damage and your base crit damage is 150% then you would hit for 1500 damage. However to compare crit damage against normal damage we must consider two situations, first is increasing damage by 50% and the second is increasing crit damage by 50%.

Increasing damage by 50% would lead to 1500 damage, on a crit a person would deal 150% damage, as such the total damage of a crit would be 2250.

Increasing crit damage by 50% would lead to 200% crit damage, on a hit of 1000 damage the person would deal 2000 damage.

Based on these numbers we can see that a damage increase creates more over all damage (crit and non-crit) than just increasing crit damage alone, this leads to a situation where increasing damage is ~15% better than increasing crit damage by the same percentage.

Based on this information we can conclude that Superior rune of the Scholar which gives 8% crit damage, 165 power and 10% damage while health is above 90% is the single best rune for backstab thieves based on the fact that it provides the single largest damage boost of any rune/gem combination.

ya but u wont have much crit chance as it is in my build = less dps

165 power is roughly +18% base damage. Just throwing that out there… pretty sure it won’t be less dps. Unless you have a heavily crit proc dependent build or something crazy.

Superior rune of Eagle = big mistake

And this is why;

Superior rune of Eagle: 3,5g x (6) = 21gold

good alternative is to buy 5 runes of ranger + 1 ruby orb which will only cost around 6gold total and only less 0.5% critical damage because ya the 6th eagle one is 5% crit dmg only when a target is <50% hp so its like “2.5%” the whole time if you’r fighting a boss or dragon PLUS +20power +14crit along with the orb

so 1 ruby orb will give you 2% crit dmg the whole time +20pw +14crit

conclusion; u can save 15 gold and have pretty much the same effects as the superior rune of eagle set for a 1/3 of its price

You are comparing 2% crit damage with 5% damage. The Eagle 5% isn’t crit damage… it is just damage, which is miles better than crit damage, as it boosts all damage…. and by more per . Yes, it is only vs target under 50 hp. Yes, you probably wont suck by cheaping out for gems instead. But, just for sake of accuracy… >.> Eagle is not the same as what you are suggesting.

It is about 68% chance to proc it with 4 hits.

You’re basically looking for the chance it won’t proc, because it is cleaner math steps.

That’s 75%. So 0.75 × 0.75 × 0.75 x 0.75 = 0.32 (I’m rounding)

So there is a 32% chance it doesn’t proc at all after 4 hits, meaning the chance it has proc’d in those 4 hits is 68%.

The math is accurate per Gal.

Yeah, not really. It isn’t an outburst, or childish display per se, it is an act of blatant defiance. You may disagree with what I wrote, or why I wrote it. I’m totally cool with that actually. I really wouldn’t care if you were even more direct with your insult.

That is kind of my point, my post was deleted, yes wasn’t inherently wrong in any way, shape, or form. It was complementary to the writer of the post I quoted even. There was nothing lewd, nothing denigratory, or inappropriate in any way. Yet it was censored by unceremonious deletion?

I take the issue too serious, I know that. But in reality the issue of free speech is very dear to me, I’ve served in the armed forces, lost friends in battle… risked my own, all for the sake of freedoms. And I watch them get kitten away by every day people, sliding further into a state of blind obedience.

So, yeah, I’m pretty prone to react strongly. I know it is their forum, and they quite frankly have every right to delete my post. But deleting a completely harmless post is overbearing, unnecessary, and quite frankly offensive to me. If it ends up being a deal breaker, so be it. I’ve sacrificed far more for less.

Edit: Oh, and to contribute, level up doing the same lowbie zone event with a fast repeat timer over and over again. It annoys the other low level people when a higher level is doing them, as they are entirely too powerful even after being “down scaled”.
