Play spvp and watch videos of game play in spectate mode. Or watch youtube of good players in spvp or wvw.

Most people who “suck” at pvp lack situational awareness. Just pretend that’s there’s always someone out to kill you – probably true anyway.

Personally, it took me a while to kick the habit of not being aware because numbers. Went to play around in spvp until rank 33, realised how cool it is to kick kitten in a small group and applied what I learned in spvp to roaming.

But seriously, glad you got in there and tried it. Starting out is always the most difficult because of the bad rep WvW has due to the match-up threads and word of mouth (..and also not knowing a single thing about it I guess), but once you get into it WvW is actually a lot of fun!

Speaking of new animations.. I’m glad that Anet are improving hair physics, but can we have it so out fringe doesn’t clip into our forehead? It drives me insane when I’m running and use look behind.

gw2 =/= dota/league. Just my point of view.

I think its funny how Mag roamers have complained about plex runes, condi, tanky builds, zergs, ads to fights, etc. They have no clue what T-1 roamers have had to fight in a JQ/SoR/BG match-up for weeks on end. Just by the rage I see from the posts, I think if they ever “roamed” in a T-1 match-up, it would make them have an aneurysm.

Like it or not, it is the Meta, no sense in complaining about it, just adapt or go duel for the week until the match-up is over.

Weird. I dueled quite a few Maguumy engis and, surprisingly, eles that ran perplexity. :s

Except being able to change the stats of an ascended-stat greatsword on the fly is actually better than being able to change your hairstyle..

I am a warrior and I don’t get all the QQ. Reckless dodge , armored attack, and spiked armor are getting massive buffs and I use all of those. Surely not every warrior on the forums uses a hammer build

All the FOTMers use it, and that’s where most of the QQ is coming from. :P

With the amount of chest thumps by BG on this board, they have all the pressure to finish what they started cause if they choke at the end this board is gonna be drowning in BuyGate tears.

I think people are jumping to conclusions way too early. The cast time is only half a second and I doubt the new animation is gonna flash a big red sign saying you’re about to stun. If you’re good at landing skull crack, you’ll still be good at it post patch; it’ll just take half a second longer.

OP build try the healway engie or a prismatic understanding condition mesmer build; those are far worse in terms of balance.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who realizes this. Those builds will have their moment in due time. Then we can go ham on complaining about em.
