You can get an account bound version with candies, or a non account bound one in the Dragon Ball activity, with other words: you can buy one from TP

There will be boxes, that will give you random rewards:
-Dragon Coffer: This coffer drops from Holo Dragons around Tyria. The chance it will give you Jade Ticket is pretty low, useally you will receive Dragon Candies (aka Zhaitaffy).
-Rich Dragon Coffer: This coffer works pretty much the same as the normal Dragon Coffer, however, the chance for looting a Jade Ticket is higher. Rich Dragon Coffers will not drop from any mob, and will only be available in the Gem Store.

Yes, they are different items.
Holographic Dragons Wings are “clean” wings, you can see a pair in the Dragon Bash trailer next to the guy that wears the new helm + Jade Shield & Axe. The shattered wings are more… shattered, they look a bit like the Shatterer’s wings (ironic huh?), but then blue, as you can see on the release page.

Every major content update contained some balance changes as well, so I expect it for tommorow as well.

Yes, it is true if you delete all your characters, you can do a free transfer. You will lose all your crafting levels because these are character bound, but you won’t lose any bank upgrade, because this is account bound.

Well, Anet is giving some attention to what GW2 was actually all about: Dragons. After months of fun but somewhat spin-off storylines, will we finally get new Elder Dragon related content (and then I mean actual Dragons, not pinatas)?

Today the details about this update will be announced.

The Sclerite Karka Shell back skin disappears when you use an emote, but also on random moments, and I couldn’t find out yet what moments these exactly are. Anyway, the skin disappears and I have to make it unvisible and then visible to let it appear again. I’m not sure if this issue is skin related, or item related, because I use the upgraded, Ascended version of it.

I have just beated Canach, when it finished, Kiel came to prison in and there was some dialogue. Then she ran back and disappeared. There were no rewards, no chest or something to confirm you have completed it. I left the instance and there was no explorable mode anywhere… Am I doing something wrong?

so no, no personal story precursor, it must be a drop and a repeatable scavenger hunt (at least 4 times per character).

The precursor from the Personal Story is account bound. I don’t want it to rain precursors (you say 4 times per character, which is way too much), if you want a second legendary, it will be the same as it is now already, though I’d be satisfied with one Legendary

I quite agree with the fact that NCsoft is starting to become like EA. They more and more control what will happen with GW2 than Anet does, especially when NCsoft said they don’t want Cantha in GW2 (Like the Great Collapse in Divinity’s Reach is supposed to be the Canthan district, but then got removed) made me very angry. I don’t see why there is need for a Scavenger Hunt, a better way to award players with a precursor is already in game: The Personal Story. Atm, the ultimate reward, the Pact Victory Token, is crap. You can trade it for a rare (what doesn’t makes sense because the Pact Victory Token is Legendary) with a crappy skin. I felt so disappointed, and seeing all these posts about a Precursor Scavenger Hunt, I was thinking…

Why not replace the crappy rare skins for the Pact Victory Token with Precursors?

I mean, Personal Story really isn’t done in 5 minutes. It’s something that you carry with you from Level 1 to 80.

When I’m in Southsun, I useally see Mesmers asking if anyone needs to get portalled up to get the sample.
If this is not the case, I’ll give you some tips:
-Be calm and patient, you don’t need to end first, you need that sample. Especially after the stone jumping part this is important, you have done the hardest part, don’t ruin it for yourself!
-There are small platforms where you need to jump on in the stones part, wait here to prepare yourself for the next part. Not ready, don’t jump!

it’s labeled ‘PvP’, but I wouldn’t really call it like that. It’s more like a small competive acitivity that doesn’t really involves any fighting.

Since update I’m having many screen freezes. It freezes on random moments for like 5 seconds though the sound keeps working. Is anyone else having this issue?

You didn’t miss anything much during FaF or Retribution.

You literally just did a couple of mini quests, listen to a Norn and a Charr ramble along about things that really doesn’t affect you, and in the end do a dungeon with a boss.
At the end of it all, go to a bonfire and get at 24 hour buff.

Don’t worry about the upcoming Southsun event.
It’ll probably be more mini quests, some crab throwing minigame and finally end with another dungeon. You’ll probably also be upleveled to lvl80 to do the dungeon like the same as the FaF dungeon.

There won’t be a dungeon. SoS will be one month lasting story, once it’s over, a new storyline that somehow is caused by SoS will happen.

It’s obvious the Herhalds are not doing a great job, if you look at all the people on the forum being confused about, well… everything. There should be an addional screen with all the Living Story information. What is going on? What can the player do? How many time does the player have left to complete something?

It’s easier. It’s mobile. It’s awesome.

Is everyone blind here? Doesn’t the release page clearly says the 14TH OF MAY and it’s now the 13TH OF MAY. There was no patch what so ever yesterday to activate the bonfire, it came with the 30th of April patch.

There will indeed be a new asura gate linking Lion’s Arch to the new resort on Southsun Cove.

I agree that it seems possible to travel to Southsun from other areas when you’re looking at the map, but we’ve never had support for travel to other zones by swimming across the sea. In the context of the game world, I believe there are some pretty nasty things out in the deep water that would make it difficult to swim that far.

Finally! Those golems have been working on that Asura Gate for months :P
