At 12:00 PST the epilogue starts and everything else of F&F becomes unavailable.

Had this small idea in my head for new, smaller, JP-free WvW maps. These maps have a new concept, as they are not 1 vs 1 vs 1 anymore but 1 vs 1.
I’ve included a sketch of the map in the attachments.

T = Tower
C = Camp
The black area means that it is unaccessable, so if you’re server spawn is at the north side of the map, and you want to get south, you will have to control the keep first. Ofc, this is discussable.

Why 1vs1? In some tiers it’s obvious that one or maybe two servers are simply dead or unactive (e.g. EU T9 where FoW & Vabbi have to fight against a server that is way more active). This will allow the few people that are on the dead server, to still have a fair fight with eachother and not having to worry about the 3rd server.

Nope, but unlike everyone I realise getting Legendary is hard and is supposed to be hard, very hard.

I agree. ArenaNet apparently thinks otherwise, though, considering how they have filled the game with features for grinders.

There is no real Finale like the Lost Shores had. Once the bar on the top right corner of your screen is depleted, the epilogue will begin, and will last until the 16thof may.

and stop talking about siege addictives, if youre a casual player you usually dont see the point in using superior siege but when you actually play a lot of wvw you should know why, especially with the new 30 seconds no white crosses.

I play WvW often, and using a ton of superior siege simply is a way to bypass everything, and just take the tower or keep without even daring to fight.

After weeks of AG and some other servers I must say…
These were the worst WvW weeks of my life.
Somehow, AG obviously teams up with the other world, against Gandara. It was obvious with BB and now with RS. 70% of my WvW time, I’m in EB, and we barely could attack anything. The RS blob was always attack Melon’s, while The AG blob had their eyes on OrangeWatch and Pangloss. On rare occasion RS was actually taking some AG towers, or AG was attacking SM.

Also both of you are highly siege addictive. RS attacked an unupgraded Overlook with 7 golems. If there are no golems, there useally are 3-5 superior rams.

Call me a whiner, call me a QQer, I don’t care, I’m saying my opinion, and how I lost all my respect for you, I’m glad I don’t have to fight you anymore and I can finally have fair fights again.

After all the Molten Facilities are destroyed, will we still be able to acquire Azurite Orbs & Crystals elsewhere?

As a person who often go to Southsun, I have to confirm this is not a Karka backpack, but one of those Karka Hatchlings that attach you to your body to cause some condition.

Since the latest update I’m having a lot of frustrating issues with falling damage, and the overall falling. It’s simple: I jump, don’t get falling damage while I should have gotten it, but I’m still knocked down for the seconds. If I’m lucky I stand up, walk a bit and then I get knocked down again and receive the falling damage. If I don’t, I get magically teleported to the place I stood before I jumped, I just died because of this bug at the end of the pirate JP in LA…
No, it’s not lagg, skill casting is working as it should.

I actually enjoyed leveling. GW2 feels like a living world, I said to myself, let’s complete that map, so I went there and on my way to the vista’s and points of interest, I encountered several Dynamic Events, nice exp and karma yes, but I was listening too. There was a story behind some events, and some events trigger another, and I was curious how the story would end.

When I recently wanted to have 100% world completition for once and for all, I discovered more of these really interesting events, paying even more attention to it.

Now I’m mostly playing WvW, I like PvP in mass scale. I went there, guess what, to complete the map and fell in love with it. You got to try several aspects of GW2, before you can actually be sure this is my game or not.

I believe Wooden Chests are now Rare or better, instead of Masterwork or better.

It’s a good thing in sPvP & WvW, tho it should removed in any kind of PvE.

Yeah I’m pretty sure they’re all armor skins that are already in the game, they’re just not the ones from the character select screen. Also I agree with the person who said the “legendary shop” looks like a screen shot of a gold sellers website.

Guessing new dungeon

Hopefully not, especially not unless they add a decent in-game LFG tool too. Hopefully it’s more instances like the current one but with less reliance on holding an area until X waves are defeated.

I do not understand why a.net should waste time on something that already exists. GW2lfg.com works just fine. I’m not going to discuss that again, but honestly I’d much rather have them develop the game itself instead of copying a well-functioning community project.

The website is still 3rd party, it makes GW2 dependent of GW2LFG.com
An automatic LFG would decrease spam in map chat and would be way more userfriendlier.

I agree to an extend. Though I have to point out that “It’s optional, you have HAVE to do it” is the worst excuse for a problem and I’m sick of hearing it.

Keep in mind that the entire game is optional.

Your grievance with the use of the word “optional” as an excuse to the problem comes from your misunderstanding of the exact use and context of the word “optional” when we apply it to things in guild wars 2.

When we say that it’s “optional”, we mean, “you do not need to do this first in order to do or see any of the content in the game.” You do not need ascended gear in order to complete explorable dungeons. You may need ascended gear to do some later levels of fractals, but later levels are not considered new content, they are the same fights with lower tolerances on mistakes; ascended gear is not necessary for Fractals lvl 1.

Notice, this sort of system where the best gear is unnecessary to complete certain content is not present in all games. In vanilla world of warcraft, epic gear was not optional. There were simply some fights in the later dungeons that your group simply had no hope of beating without farming up epics from previous dungeons.

But in Guild Wars 2, the best gear (and the best skins) are not necessary in order stand a reasonable chance of defeating all the content in the game. Thus, they are optional.

This usage of “optional” is not the same at all as the “optional” you use when you say “the entire game is optional”.

You NEED ascended gear to progress your character to max stats. All the stuff you listed are usually things people do in order to accomplish the ultimate gamer goal, maxed out stats. If you can recognize that playing any game is a want, then you should be able to realize that inside of a want there are needs. If those needs aren’t met then the person no longer wants. With games one of the needs is character progression.

GW2 does horribly at cosmetic progression(worst armor design) so they added ascended. Instead of just making ascended gear have an agony slot and no increase in stats, which would make it truly optional to anyone not interested in fractals, they went for stat progression. Now people are forced to grind content(dailies, missions, fractals) in order to fulfill that ultimate gamer need of max stats.

When that need cannot be fulfilled in a fun/timely manner people will quit the game because they no longer want to play it. Blockading that progression behind grinds and time gates is absolutely poor game design trying to exploit the need for progression. Not only that it hurts character variety because people don’t want to try new specs/stats combos because of the time sink that is ascended. Laurels, commendations, and Pristine fractal tokens(least of the bunch) are terrible progression systems for a set of gear that should have never been in the game.

‘Max stats’ is only a goal that you put on yourself, just like Legendary. What happens? Everyone goes to the forum and whine how hard it is, or how much they have to grind. Really, if you care about 20 more precision, or 25 more power, then you need to man up and really stop whining. You really WON’T feel the difference (except in Fractals with Agony resistance). If you have no time to play GW2 and can’t complete the dailies, stop whining as well, do you expect to receive items while you are offline? NO. Know yourself and know what’s possible, you might will have ‘only’ Exotic items, but really, the extra stats Ascended items have over Exotic, is so minor, that I laugh with everyone who complains about it.

I’m not a fan of Ascended items either, but for other reasons (a lack of stat combo’s). I am happy with Laurels and laugh at everyone who says that the Daily is a grind. For some reason, no one realises Ascended is the tier between Exotic & Legendary, and it shouldn’t be possible to obtain it in 5 minutes.

Use evade, and everything is solved. No really, use this, it’s so useful, and once you get to the scope spam your best skills to kill it.
Myself, I had no problems with the F&F instances, maybe my build allows quick and evasive actions.

I had the same bug many times already when my world sieged SM. Any ballista I dropped on the wall simply disappeared. No building site spawned, the blueprints didn’t drop either, it just vanished from my Inventory…

I don’t want Ascended armor.
Why not? The trinkets are not upgradable (I’m not talking about Infusion), will Ascended armor have bound runes? If they won’t use this kitten system for armor, what’s the point then? There is nothing special about it, only an extra gear tier to kitten off people. Ascended trinkets atleast had something exclusive.
What about people who have spent many time in running dungeons to see their armor becoming worthless because of the Ascended armor?

Also, I don’t want a kind of Ascended items (especially armor) to become exclusive to WvW, even more PvE’ers will camp for hours in JP because Ascended Amor will probably be available for Badges of Honor.

I think this is normal. If there are 50 people, and they don’t group up and rather roam around a map, you have 50 stupid people…
It’s in the nature of men to group up. A zerg is way more effective and necessary because you can’t solo a Tower, keep or castle.
If you don’t like WvW because you don’t like the logic behind nature, then don’t play it. PERIOD

I noticed an incredible increase of lagg since the past few weeks / months, I can’t remember when exactly I had a some lagg-free time in WvW.

NO, there is no huge fight in SM.
NO, there is no massive zerg vs massive zerg.
Only the useal stuff and it still takes 5 seconds to cast a damnd skill.
FIX THIS PLEASE

The problem is, everyone will be wasting supplies then to build to most useless siege, or to repair walls or gates when it’s not necassary…

You don’t have to buy the keys, it is not compulsory. Yesterday, on release, I bought 10 keys (and that was my limit), which with the keys that dropped from the boxes themselves, enabled me to open 14 chests. I didn’t get a ticket. Meh, I thought and carried on grinding the mats for Volcanus which I am currently working on.

Today, a BL key dropped from a mob in Cursed Shore, I opened a box and I got a ticket.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Lol. I’m playing GW2 since end september, and I think I only looted one black lion key for mobs, the drop rate is incredibly low so we have to buy them or farm toons…
Also it is nowhere announced that the Fused weapons were coming, last week I bought a lot of keys with the sale, and used them all. Now I regret I have done that because of the Fused weapon skin I want so badly

1. No or less good loot. Dungeons and World Bosses give more gold and a better chance for good loot.
2. You need to pay gold (alot of gold) if you want to upgrade areas.
3. They don’t like PvP
4. Their home server sucks and is outmanned on every Borderland.
5. They prefer sPvP because everything is balanced there / they don’t like larger scale battles.
