Pretty much tired of thieves, I’m hoping to see one or multiples nerfs as soon as possible, will the upcoming Jan update contain nerfs to thieves? Oh and to those thieves out there who want to defend there class by claiming it’s balanced or even underpowered: There has to be a reason why half of the community is complaining how OP thieves are right?

I don’t think they’ve given an exact time unless I missed something? I assume they just say 28th as they aren’t sure about exact time so I assume it could be at any point on the 28th in American time (No clue what times that would be in europe).

Halloween launched on a monday, but it actually happened on Tuesday here, Wintersday launched on a Friday, but it actually launched on Saturday…

I live in Europe, and I suppose, just like Halloween & Wintersday, that for us the update won’t launch this monday, but actually tuesday?

I check this page everyday, and recently a new theme appeared, instead of the classic gw2 theme, there is now a darker theme

Anet, wtf, do you even play this game?
AoE is NOT overpowered, and should not be nerfed. You nerf everything that needs a buff, and buff everything that needs a nerf…
The community NEVER asked to nerf this, still you have plans to do it? Why? What is wrong with you?

Fractals are in the mists, just like Heart of The Mists (sPvP) and the WvW maps. It are the mists itself that create these locations and events (Sometimes based on the history of Tyria) and not anyone who lives there. The remaining Mursaat probably reside at Janthir Bay.

I hope for Annihilator 3 :P

In the center you can recognize Tyria and Elona, in the south Cantha. As you can see there are more continents that curently are unexplorable, they even don’t have a name (yet).

But why?
Because I don’t like RNG? No
Because I don’t like farming? No
Because I’m an active WvW player and I’m mad because Ascended items are only available at Fractals? No

There is a serious lack of communication between Anet and the community, which wasn’t the case the past week months ago. Something must have happened during that holidays whereby Anet doesn’t like communicating anymore.
I’m waiting from January the 1st for the announcement of the January update, it’s mid-Jan now, and still nothing. Look at the news. The lost post was made the 3rd of Jan, just to announce some holiday sales.
I like communication, it’s a high value for me, and to see (or not see) that Anet does not even bother telling us what plans they have for GW2 in the near future (e.g. January Update), I don’t bother playing GW2 as well :/

E-P-I-C battles in SM, unfortunatly heavy lagg AR had SM, then piken for 5 minutes, then we for 5 minutes and now AR has it again…

It’s sad, the week just began and Gandara is accused for using exploits by Piken. Mad that, even with your alliance, you have lost?

Yeah, I’m pretty much tired of this high tiers, where everyone forgets what the most important thing is: Having fun, and not sacrifice your life to win. Trying to resist Piken zergs at mendon while AR is taking over Ogre is not fun to my opinion, and it’s happening all the time…

There are two rewards:
-Normal rewards
-PvP rewards

Both should be able to be openen, but because of a bug this was not possible, if you have opened the chest in LA, you could not open the chest in Heart of the Mists and vice versa.

Little bit like Clocktower when you’re bugged and don’t get teleported back when you fell. :P

Well, like I said I would rather not craft or use the mystic forge, so I assume what you are saying is that it is not possible to get a quiver by running fotm?

No, not the Quiver. However with the Exotic backs you can buy with Fractal Relics, you can craft an Ascended back that does not require a bunch of T6 mats, it will only cost you Skill Points and items that you also can acquire with Fractal Relics (e.g. Gift of Ascension) and a Vial of Condensed Mists Essence.
But in the end, it’s not possible yet to acquire any Ascended back in Fractals itself

Its not ridiculous, its possibly the best innovation I’ve seen in an mmo EVER.

An even better innovation would be a good work out trading system with indeed a Trading Channel or even a specific location where it is only be able to trade.

Stop hating and start reading, I stated why there should be a more social alternative to TP…

The only way to actually trade without any chance to get scammed is TP: But if you ever want to sell a pretty expensive item, you’ll have to pay quite a big fee to place it on the TP.
Another way is to use the ingame mail, but this asks for getting scammed. Especially when you want to trade with some random stranger…
So… why is there no (fee-free) Trading System? Are there plans to add a Trading System?

But please realize that 2 vs 1 is not really fun…

Toxx’s voice sounds very familiar to me. I would bet her voice is done by Ellen McLain aka the voice of GLaDOS from Portal

The main issue of Clocktower was that if you were 1 second too late, you failed. This is removed from Winter Wonderland. There still is a time limit but this time limit is not that hard as the Clocktower.
What still bothers me is the many waiting, just like Clocktower.
The JP itself is not as hard as the clocktower. Graphically it’s well done. Maybe it’s a little bit too short. A big but not so hard JP could be fun as well.

it’s easy:
-Timed JP’s like Winter Wonderland and Clocktower should be solo instance, so we can retry right after we failed. No one likes the waiting.
-Add an option to let the player choose what difficulity they want. Higher difficulity means higher rewards ofcourse but alteast everyone should be able to get the achievement

This probably means that they will provide more information about Wintersday very soon. Just be patient

the salaries are increased. Every drop you get is now more valuable.

Not everyone used to farm, some people had other ways to earn money, and these ways might be ruined now because the skyrocketing prices. Ok, farmers got their coin, now the other players.

Don’t you miss the botters now? After the botter ban waves, prices of top demanded items like Ectos and T6 mats doubled or even trippled on TP. Ofcourse, it was unfair that botters could farm without even sitting behind their PC while others couldn’t, but they caused some balance to the GW2 economy, and that balance is gone now…

Smaller rewards over the time that the event is active, instead of all the (usefull) rewards after the event.

I only got 1 Black Lion Key in over 400 hours of gameplay.

1. How can you be sure they did not participate? Maybe they did now because they disconnected?
2. When I openend the chest (right after slaying the ancient karka) I got 2 random rares and 2 random exotics, just like almost everyone else. I’m not sure why you got crapper loot, maybe you’re lower level?
3. I don’t think you would get a reward chest when you didn’t participate in any way.

I have done some small research myself:
-We can’t be sure that Mordremoth is actually the 6th Elder Dragon, Google Translate told me that ‘Mordre’ is Slovenian for blue = DSD, even though we don’t know anything of the actual meaning of the name
-At the Green Zone in the Infinite Coil Reactor there is a skill point, some kind of strange golem. When you defeat it the golem will shout: zero-zero-zero-one zero-one-one-one or 0001 0111 a binary number, in decimal numbers it’s 23. I’m not sure if there is anything in the GW lore that is related to 23 that might could help us further.

But, I think for 99% that the 6th ED has a connection with the Sylvari. I think the 6th ED wanted to prepare its awakening, just like Primordus did with the Great Destroyer and Jormag with Drakkar and Nornbear, his minions would be (evil) Sylvari.
But, why aren’t the Sylvari evil then? Not everything went as the ED expected. That one seed that later became the Pale Tree shouldn’t be stolen. I suppose someone had to learn the Pale Tree how to treat its minions, yet, this didn’t happen and it was Ventari’s Tablet that made the Pale Tree good.

Do you know what Guild Wars 2 is? It’s callen a MMORPG, or a Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game. Please tell me what the point is of the ‘MMO’ part if everyone wants to solo? What’s wrong with doing dungeons with others? If you don’t like it, you probably don’t like the entire concept of MMO, and I suggest you to find yourself another kind of game.

You get some decent money from taking a tower/keep/castle, yet, this is nothing compared the upgrading costs. Especially in keeps and castle, this can become very expensive

Had some good fights already, even though FR hits hard and FS is more like the annoying 3rd :P

I think it’s a bug. Before the skill switch Vapor Form didn’t allow you to go through doors. Quite funny that Ele downed skill went from being the worst to the best though.

The issue is that they removed the Stupid Penalty from tower defense. Any baddie can walk out, spam all his skills, get downed, then float back into the tower and res. Hopefully this was just an oversight by Anet…

No they can’t, after every time you use vapor you get an additional downed point. If you use it too much in a short time you will die anyway right after the vapor is over, without going downed first.

I looted the Zap a few days ago in WvW, and I just thought it might be interesting for you to know that pre-cursors now drop in WvW as well (I don’t think they ever did before the pre-cursor drop rate buffs).
